Jenny was great. We recently had to move due to a threat to my home. My old setup wasn’t effective. After speaking to Jenny my wife and I started to brainstorm with her and she kept giving us options that were affordable and EXACTLY what we were looking for. i logged online to get information and immediately was in a chat session with a salesman - I obviously was interested in a security system and he took no time selling me on Protect America systems which sounded good at the time. After being pretty much bum rushed through a series of documents I had no time to read and signed - I had a security system that looked good but one that I knew virtually nothing about. I realized several days later that I had made a mistake and have since sent all the equipment back to negate the 3yr guaranteed payment contract for over $1500 I signd up for.

Brinks took over Livewatch. We seem to have one issue after another since that takeover. Customer Service needs help! We can never just GET THROUGH.....we always have to wait for a call back which is usually hours. Once we get through, USUALLY that person is very kind and helpful. Our system now is constantly going off. ..and IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT....went off from 3am - 5 am. We contacted the ON CALL.....which for a company as big as Brinks, I would expect them to have 24/7 customer service. We out it in as URGENT bc we couldnt get our system to stop going off. I'm not sure what the term URGENT means because we didnt get a call until about 1130am, which with us working, we could not deal with it. Again this was URGENT. In the meantime, we cannot even USE OUR SYSTEM! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE when it comes to CONTACT SOMEBODY quickly and convenient for us.

Five Years Ago when I got the system we had moved into a brand new house. Salesman promised more equipment than what was given. As I had heard bad reviews of the competitors in the area, I went with MONI through a third party of CRS Services. Now 5 years later, my bill has increased from $55.00 to $65.00 with no explanation, and adding any additional equipment to my service costs an arm and a leg. You would think they would have a reward program or perks for long time customers. I'm at the end of my contract, and starting to shop for systems again. Looking for a great price with equipment that is comparable in the market place without gouging my wallet.

Very courteous, knowledgeable, the price for what I got was amazing. I had a smoke alarm sound off, the monitoring was so quick, the response time was less than 5 seconds. They were calling me to. See if we werd alright. Very impressive. The installation was simple. I am happy I changed from ADT!!!

Just recently called for prices so I could compare. The gentleman I spoke to was great. However I don't like the pressure they try to put on you to get their system. It's a 3 year commitment, when I told them I wanted to discuss with my husband as well as compare their system with other systems, I'm told that the only way to get the prices we discussed was to commit now during the 1st call. Hello??? It's like a threat. Not wanting people to make a good choice that suits there budget or to be able to compare what other companies offer. But to make a quick decision. If the company truly stood behind how great they were they wouldn't fear you shopping around before commiting to a 3 year commitment. If so choose this company and call back and I am not honored the prices we 1st discussed, I'll be back and re-rate this company and go with another company. If they do honor it, Ill come back and re-rate as well.

They had High ratings from the review sites that I looked at.However after seeing the reviews for the mobile app this company was using, the number of recent and poor reviews was greater than the positive reviews by a large margin. This is why I decided not to use them at this time. However all other interactions with this company was extremely positive.

I have been a customer for 1 year. Customer service people are excellent and very knowledgeable. They help you and then follow up in a day or so to assure that you do not have a continued issue. I had one alarm activation and notification was quick and thorough. The equipment is easy to use and robust. The Alarm.com app for the phone works great and the panel provides arming flexibility for a variety of needs. I would recommend this service and was surprised that it was not rated higher.

We've been happy with their basic plan - sign, two doors covered, two rooms with motion detectors, one smoke detector, two keychain remotes and a control unit @$19.95 per mo., self installed with tech telephone help, one year agreement. We own the equipment, which was not all that expensive. They provided help with application paperwork for our local police department and have otherwise given us good customer service.

The service has been excellent. I really value the security and ability to watch my home when I am away. In comparison to the other systems Moni is most user friendly. I have not experienced any customer service calls or billing issues, so I can not review on those departments.

AWESOMELY affordable. Been around much longer than their DIY competitors. Sales and install are very knowledgeable. Well rated on several alarm company sites. Only downfall is you're tied into a 3yr contract and customer service can take 30min to answer the phone...being on hold. Which is why i request a call back and i don't lose my place in line.

So far so good, had the service @ 9 years now. The only problem I've had is on the rare occasion (three times, I think) that I've had to have them come out to fix something they've tried to tell me it was gonna be "a couple weeks" before they could get somebody out there. Sorry folks - this is a burglar alarm system. Burglars don't take time off! Should be NEXT DAY SERVICE - at the latest! Guess the salesman lied when he said they'd be out "immediately" for repairs. Had one tech that was a flake that seem to know what he was doing, but the next guy fixed his mistakes a few days later.

We could not have been happier with the install. The service has been spot on so far. We've had a few instances where we forgot we had the system on and set off the alarm. Response was great. When I was shopping around for security systems I was drowning in a sea of so many competitors. when I called live watch sales they seemed more interested in finding a solution and making me feel comfortable then selling anything. That was a breath of fresh air in itself. What I didn't expect was my experience getting better. when I called to set up the unit, the operator really did a great job making sure I felt comfortable using the unit. it was hands down the best customer service experience I have maybe ever had. Responsive and low wait time if you need to call them, HOWEVER, because I have a cat, it triggered the motion sensor. they called me and let me know that the motion sensor was tripped so I had them call my local police dept. When I got home, the police haven't arrived yet (about 10 minutes after the call) so I decided to check the doors and windows and everything looks fine nothing out of place. Since the police haven't yet shown up there was no longer a need for them. I called the monitoring center so they could let the police know that they no longer needed to come out. The monitoring center, who calls the police dept. is UNABLE to call the police back to let them know that everything is Ok and that they don't need to come out here. This is a problem because when the Police come to an alarm and it's a false alarm like this was, they charge us $100 just to come out. I feel like the monitoring center since they can dispatch the police, should be able to call them back and ask them to cancel the call so we don't get charged for a false alarm.

I’ve been with this company twice. Both of them have been alarm packages under contracts. The three-year contract length is a little extensive and very hard to get out of. The customer service is not up to par with the expectations of such a name recognize company. They are subsidizing work to smaller companies, and not knowing that their brand is being affected by poor customer service experience, that what you would expect from Brinks.

I’ve used Brinks Home security for many years and we have the thermostat system so the security system also allows us to control the thermostat from the app or the control pad on the wall, which is really convenient. We also have the doorbell security camera, exterior cameras and interior cameras, which we can view from our phones as well! I’ve had a good experience with all of our installs and I think the price is reasonable and we’re happy with our terms and conditions

Was trying to cancel service because it was on my mother’s house and she’s now deceased but the rep wouldn’t listen and kept trying to sell me on transferring it to my house. When I finally relented and asked her to email me more information on the medical option and the offers she mentioned, she said she would but the only email I received was this review request. I want my services cancelled immediately and receive a confirmation.

All I want to do is cancel my service and was told I could not without buying out my contract at 80%. That would be close to $1,000.00. This is ridiculous. I would never refer anyone to this company. When I purchased my home is 2011, my contract was with Alarm.com. Then Brinks bought them out and I have had nothing but trouble since then. I will not be extending my contract. It appears my contract was extended last year without my knowledge. I never received anything until today via email.

Very expensive to upgrade old equipment, no good answers except long contract. One week told the system replaced and upgraded for free , next week, $300 for a new panel. Much cheaper to go with another company. I have used their service since 2018 but no customer loyalty.

Negative 5 if that was an option. I have not had one good experience with this company. Started with the lies your representative pitched to make a sale, then the install, the quality of the equipment, updating payment method, to simply getting a copy of a receipt. This is not at all a good company to have to monitor your security. This company has not done anything positive for me to feel I have someone who will be there if I ever needed their help.
