The sales representative was thorough, diligent in his explaining the processes, a point system and how the quantity and different peripheral devices affect pricing. Buy down options and honoring online equipment deals. The installation was a breeze, since we did not want a stranger in our home setting up our security, Tim instructed the entire process in phases. The faceplate is simple at best and mountings easily blend into the background of our walls. The notifications of zones is not harsh but pleasant and clean-up was quick. I can say I feel safe with the monitoring system.

I had a great experience with Blane J. my sales rep, he wasn't pushy at all. I explained what our needs were and he helped create our personalized home security system. The box of equipment came, it was tracked the whole way to our front door. I have a service tech scheduled for this Saturday to instruct me step by step on how to install each piece of equipment. So far my experience has been top notch.

So far, everything has gone seamlessly, from talking to the sales person, to ordering, to the installation. The only drawback I have had thus far is that I told the person I initially spoke with I was going to shop around and that I would definitely get back in touch with him either way to let him know my decision. Before I had a chance to call him back (the following day mind you) he called me approximately 3 times! But other than that, everything has been great!

Great representative, I don't think it's fair that you have to have good credit to have your security system, a lot of people of been through fraud going on for things so you shouldn't penalize them for that, plus you automatically take it out of my checking account each month so you're guaranteed payment so unfortunately I was not able to become a customer

I have had LiveWatch for about 18 months now. I do use an alternative security camera system. This past month, while I was on vacation, my alarm system went off. Within seconds of the alarm, everyone on my contact list had been emailed and sent a text notifying us of the alarm. A few seconds later a representative called me. As he and I spoke I checked my parameter and inside house cameras and determined it was a false alarm. The ASAPer system (LiveWatch’s notification system) works great! The professional, courteous and helpfulness of the rep was outstanding and greatly appreciated.

I have had no problems with this company at all and am very pleased with the alarm service. As a single person, it’s important to me that my home is secure when I’m home or not at home. While I’ve had a couple of false alarms when my cats careened off a window , they appear to have outgrown that wild behavior. In addition, the person who sold me this system was very professional and friendly , and I have no issues whatsoever with customer service and technical support. Almost every company one deals with is going to have customers that are satisfied and those who are unhappy. If you are looking for an alarm company , it behooves you to do your research and make an informed decision.

Moni Security is on top of their game when responding to alerts. They have talked us through resetting our system after alerts and were always very courteous. We feel safe in their care. We have had several false alarms with my husband's medic alert button and they call immediately and send the squad to help. Very prompt and helpful. Resets of the system with their help is easy. Great copany.

I have had the system for about two years and they are great. The installation was easy and they provided great support getting the system up & monitoring. They have very responsive customer service. Their system works well and if any component fails, they replace it no questions asked. BTW, no component has failed! The billing is through automatic deduction and is painless.

Tech representative Kia was amazing i have spoke with her on a number of occasions and all has been pleasant. I spoke to 3 other agenta and none of them could help me and i was ready to cancel but when i spoke to her it was as if God answered my prayers. She knew what she was doing and she stayed focused on what i needed got it handle in a timely manner. People like this will keep people like me comming back to this company and even referring my friends and family. When I call I will now only want to apeak to Kia.

My concerns have always been addressed and a tech has come out and serviced a sensor that was not functioning correctly... We’ve had Moni for about four months and have had only good experiences. The initial sign-up went smoothly as the representative explained everything very clearly. The installer was friendly and courteous and clearly knew what he was doing. The system is easy to use and the phone app is quite convenient. So far we’ve had no issues and everything is working as it should. I highly recommend Moni.

I am going to get rid of these guys. I have been using them for about 5 years and our monthly rate is now about double where we started. I got a promotional offer in the mail from a competitor that has great reviews on this site so I am going to switch over to them. Here's an update: ADT sent a mailer offering free equipment and a monthly rate that was much lower than my current provider. Of course, when they get in your house they immediately swap out your panel then start trying to upsell you on a bunch of equipment beyond what was free. They also DOUBLE the monthly rate when you want a wireless key pad versus connection to a land line. They never mentioned it on the telemarketing call to schedule the appointment and it was not in the fine print on the offer. I was going to grudgingly accept everything because it was still a little less per month. Then I called Monitronics to cancel and they offered additional equipment for free, and dropped the monthly rate dramatically as long as we signed on for four more years. We're not planning to move so that was fine with us. The only thing I'm still waiting for is two digital video cameras. I have to call them again to find out the status. I had called Monitronics yearly for the past couple years to get a rate reduction. They dropped it only slightly. It took the threat of moving to a new provider to get the rate significantly lowered. All of these security companies would be much better served to stop playing the rate games and just keep the monthly rates at a reasonable amount. They would have more satisfied customers and reduce the churn and the volume of calls each year asking for a rate reduction.

Before I start, regarding Brendon Nicols review of July 27-Live Watch has only been in business since 2002, so I'm not sure how he's been "locked" into a contract with them for 47 years, making me discount the rest of his review as well. As for us, we've been with them for 18 months and have no complaints. The set up and the customer support setting the system up and testing it made it very easy. The packaging the system came in was well packed and everything was clearly explained in the accompanying instructions. We have a cat and have had no false alarms. The remote arming/disarming feature works great. The website could be a little easier to navigate but all in all for the price I'd say it's a really good deal.

I wanted to update my complain. A representative from Monies Corporate Office contact our family and has decided to dismiss the debt owed by my Mother-in-law. The representative was very understanding and professional. My entire family is very appreciative of this decision. I am hoping that maybe new policies will come from this decision that may help others in the same situation. Thank you Monies. Original complaint: My family member paid for a year of monitoring service. After that year, to save money, signed a two year contract. Shortly after, this 80 year old women had a heart attack and had to move in with her daughter. We contacted the company to cancel service. They refused and hassled her continuously. They have now turned her over to collections, who are now hounding her over $450 for service they never provided. Shameful.

I have LiveWatch services in my house for the last 5 years and I would like to live not just good words about the service, security time no delays, no middle words, no hide fees, just perfect. I live in Florida and they are able to monitoring my house 24/7/365 from Kentucky. wireless and works on cell phone app also, I was in Brazil 6.000 miles way in April 2017 and was able to turn my alarm on and off, any time I need. Thank you very much LiveWatch, CEO, team, crew all of you guys.

My experience with LiveWatch has been amazing. My home was recently broken into and LiveWatch texted me immediately, then called my phone. You never think someone will break into your house but last month was a sigh of relief. Our siren scared away the thief and luckily nothing was stolen. Customer service is great and they will walk you through any problems you may have. Just recently they replaced the battery in my unit at no cost with next day shipping. For those saying the cost is too high, NEVER buy online. Call their sales department!!! My entire home (10+ sensors) was hooked up with a touchscreen panel for $99. Their sales department is eager to help. I do agree that their home camera monitoring plan is expensive. This should be included in the $39 plan. Great company, great system.

I found the Moni alarm system at a recent home show in the area. The Rep., Chris, was professional and delivered exactly what he said he would. I really like the phone app too - very simple to use and you and arm/disarm and check the status of the system from your phone. I also like the smoke/carbon monoxide detector that is also monitored. I would definitely recommend this system to others.

We have been pleased with our Live Watch service. It installed without much effort, and the customer service rep who assisted with the final setup was very professional and knowledgeable about the system. We had a service issue with a touch pad that had a problem with its speaker.. They quickly sent out a replacement and that resolved the problem. The app for the iPhone is great and enables easy monitoring and control of the system.

I love the feature of setting the system from the phone. I love the direct withdrawal from my checking account, very simple. This is my first smart home security system and I have researched other systems as well. To me, it seems LiveWatch is more flexible and has a good value compare to competitors. Also, I like the main panel and that has a touchscreen and makes so easy to control too. I had a sensor problem so I called the technical support and got solved right away and that was a good experience too. Not like other systems, LiveWatch is using the cellular connection and that's plus for me with a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend LiveWatch to anyone who is looking for a smart home security system.

After two previous appointments with other Security companies that both failed on meeting what they had promised. I had met Darrel J the owner of Envision thru my nephew, one phone call was all it took. His salesman Alex S called me back, discussed my options, no pressure, an appointment was made for installation, he was very respectful of our home and property. While replacing the battery in my panel, I accidentally hit the panic button. I then received a call from my neighbor that the alarm company called her as my cell phones were turned off. As I was conversing with the alarm company, the first responders were at my house. I am grateful for the rapid response of Monitroics in reference to this incident. It is a good feeling to have the security of this company looking after our welfare. Thank you to all involved.

Business Security account was passed from Cox Communication to Brinks on 4/8/25. The billing agreement was to remain the same. Phone conversations requesting service on inoperable cameras were ignored for 8 weeks. Billing Dept never contacted us to resolved inaccurate billing. Seven conversations with seven different representatives all stating " You will be contacted in 24-48 hours to resolve your issues never manifested. Your customer service is broken. All we have received from Brinks is past due billing statements with inaccurate charges. Upon notification of ending our poor service with Brinks, an agent requested we return 10 year old cameras installed by Cox Communication. We were informed a mailing label would be emailed. Nope and Nope. Your company's acquisition of Cox Communication Security division is a failure.

To be honest with you, I wasn’t gonna write a review, but I decided I’m going to this company is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with you pay a premium for a service that they don’t provide to you. I was with them for many many years and they still treat me like I’m a piece of crap. I am so highly disappointed in them. I just wanna get you locked into a contract then they don’t care about you. That’s what they did with me. They didn’t care if my equipment work or not and then was lied to multiple times and then when I decided I was gonna give them another shot. They never called me back to set up an appointment for the technician to come out. They tell me one thing and do another. I waited for over 24 hours after they told me that it would just take him a minute why is scheduling so difficult I would just spend the extra money and go somewhere else. It’ll save you a whole lot of headache

My representative was wonderful, but I found that I signed a 5 year contract and didn't know it, until she let me know. The price in the Email stated the price, which would be less than I was currently paying if I signed up for 5 years. I didn't see the small print which brought it up to much more. A scam. She had nothing to do with that and I feel deceived by Brinks. Again, the woman I talked to was terrific.

I had been with Brinks for 9 years or more. The whole time I was there I was having problems. They were always so smart when you called in to have them troubleshoot your equipment. They acted as if they hated their jobs. I also didn't like the idea of the technicians came out and installed my cameras on the roof. I felt like it was done purposely so they could have to come out and then charge a 75 dollar fee. My last deal breaker was when my back left camera was out and I called to have them troubleshoot it. They told me that they couldn't troubleshoot it because they needed to get deeper into it. So they asked me to climb up on the roof and that was after I told them I had just had back surgery. They said well unfortunately we will have to send someone out. So I went outside to see how far up they had put the camera up there. How about I noticed that they didn't even run the wires inside the house so nobody could just come and unplug them. They had the cameras plugged up right on my deck. So somebody could have just came and unplugged them and did anything to me. I guess they didn't care because that was the second time they had to install because the first time they just ran the wires through my grass in the backyard. Now everyone knows that any animal can get back there well that's what happened and the wires were chewed on. So I'm calling for over a week to try to cancel my service and get a copy of my contract . They kept sending my stuff that was expired. Then one representative said I know you feel like we're not trying to give you what you need but I promise that's not the problem. If it wasn't the problem why would you even bring that up then she tells me that they generate their notes but the computer goes in and put their own notes in. I said well if that's the case why do they need you if the computer is going to have to put the notes anyway because the previous agent put i said I would think about the offer when I told her that I already had new cameras installed and they're cameras was taken down so with that being said why would I say that and I know I didn't so she's lying because I wouldn't have taken any offer she had given me especially when she's saying that I would have to extend my contract so no and this is one of the reasons I left because of stuff like this.

My second keypad stopped working. I tried several times to connect it to the main panel to no avail. I spoke to a technician. Followed her directions and still no connection. I told them I would call back. When I did, I was cut off twice. Nothing was noted so I had to repeat myself three times. I was finally told that I had to pay $75.00 for a technician to come out and was told to get an equipment warranty for $11.99 a month. I scheduled a tech visit for two weeks later. In the meantime I got the second keypad to work and cancelled my tech appointment and the warranty. I am still paying for the equipment installation, or I would cancel my account. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Had to select 1 star because ZERO wasn’t an option! We have been Alarm.com customers for many years before Brink’s bought them out. My previous contract had expired. I LOVE not being on a contract. Needed a couple of water sensors, so extended the contract to wave the service fee. My alarm has not worked properly for over a week. They were scheduled to come out tomorrow, but they said the technician canceled yesterday morning. So now they are supposed to come NEXT Thursday. Kicker of it all??? When I explained to one of the Brink’s customer service folks, I told them ADT could come out same day or next to put a whole new system in. She said, well WE could do the same thing if you wanted a new system… They say “I’m the best part about Brinks”, their actions are no where near that.

Unfortunately, we havent had our equipment working in over 2 years while payin $54 a month until I called and was told they would come fix the sensors and install another camera. After Brinks purchase our service from AT7T several years bck they have honored our rate until this past year when they increased it to $55, before we noticed. We called to cancel and moved to another company and was asked to give Brinks another chance and that they would lower our rate. Our rate only dropped $8 per month after they added the $8 warranty. They also notified us after we decided to stay that the earliest they could have a technician come out and fix our sensors and system and install another camera was a little over 4 weeks and would be done on June 23rd and that the technician would call 1 or 2 days prior to give us a time frame for that day. This never happened and the tech even put that he did until I called and was trying to cancel service again and the retention team member checked and said I was correct that the tech called me the day of in th afternoon to reschedule. When . The retension team member was nice and tried his best to offer us a couple months since we still didnt have service and then drop our rate to $27 a month, but was told the soonest we could get them out was August 4 which was another 5 plus weeks from then. I cancelled service right then and there. The fact that Brinks couldn't even get a technician to fix our system for over 9 weeks is unacceptable and horrible service. Brinks told us that in some areas they have fewer technicians, but Simi Valley is a large city and I was able to switch companies and get the system fixed and sensors replaced and new camera 3 days from the time I called the new Company and they also are a Brinks 3rd party. We were also told told that new customers can get there installed within a week if not same day. I have never received such bad service and have 2 store locations that use another company who also uses Alarm.com fo the app. I have great service with them and pay less. What happened to Brink security??? I cant use them or recommend them to anyone after being treated and lied to like that. I will copy and paste this under our Google reviews as well.

I reached out to Brinks today to find out when my contract ends. We got to the point that we don't use our alarm system and wanted to switch to camera monitoring. I was told that my contract doesn't end until 2028. I found out that Brinks will offer you a discount on your rate and then tack on time to your contract. Therefore if you want to get out of your contract you have to pay for the remaining time. I was under the assumption that my contract was almost ending because I received an email offering a discount, but I had to sign up for 12 more months. No thank you!

First, the young man who assisted me is absolutely 5 star! He was calm, kowledgable, polite and got my problem solved. That said, the company is an absolute rip off ... I called to cancel my service several years ago. The lady who was "helping" me convinced me to change my service and lower my price. She said nothing about a 5 year contract, and I never signed any such contract. When I repeqted my desire to cancel 3 years ago, the company insisted on me paying the full term of my "Contract"... Not having the resource or patience to sue, I simply threw away $500 a year ... until today, the young man helped me cancel. I still had to pay the balance of the 5 years, but he did get me a 20% discount.

I would give Brinks home security 0 stars if I could. From the moment our equipment was installed we had problems! The equipment rarely worked, and when we would call customer service they were rude and unhelpful. Each time a technician was scheduled to come out and troubleshoot, they wouldn’t show up and no one would even give us a courtesy call to say they wouldn’t be coming. I would NEVER recommend Brinks home security to anyone, and will continue to actively let any and everyone know what a truly atrocious experience we have had with this company! After reviewing your Google, Yelp and all social media platforms I now know my experience is not unique. Brinks has a sub par product and they place little to no value on the customer experience. Goodbye and good riddance!
