I decided to contact tax defense network or a tax defense company because I was having issues with some old taxes that I didn't know what to do, and they knew how to solve it. We worked through it and we came up with a magnificent resolution: we had those taxes placed on non collectable, I believe that was the term was. I was always able to reassure them and they were very helpful. They answered all the questions I had. Now I can have a better sleep since they helped me with my tax situation. They were cordial every time that I had a question and very receptive to my phone calls. They did a very good job.

I called around several different radio stations, Christian deals, and between those options and deals, I decided to choose them. They were expensive but they got it fixed. I got behind on my taxes because my sister had cancer and I didn't have insurance, since they fixed my owed tax back I got it paid back in December of this past year. They took the time to answer my questions when I called and they kept me up to date pretty regularly. I didn't need to be calling them to get the information that I needed. It's kind of pricey but they got us the time and help to gather our money and start our tax payments rather than coming up with a large payment right away. I felt comfortable with them.

I had issues with backed up taxes that I needed help with. I researched them and had heard they were a good company so I went to them. Customer support was fine up until the power of attorney went. Once they were no longer representing me I left a couple of emails that I never got a response to. I mean, while we were in the middle of things everything was fine. They definitely got me the best price they could. Besides that, they don't really have any websites or other ways to get information from them. I spent $2,400 but I had no way to know how much exactly it was all going to cost me. I mean, money was taken out of my account every month and I would get letters saying they had gotten a payment, but there was no website to check things and they would never answer my calls. There was no address or anything, I just never knew what was going on.

I googled them and chose them based on their ratings and the feedback from their customers. The people we talked to were wonderful through it all. They were knowledgeable and very quick to respond or call me back. They did exactly what they promised they would do, which was stop the levies on our social security checks. I went with them because I thought that communicating with the IRS was impossible. Every time I got involved with the IRS I got sick to my stomach and had a hard time dealing with the subject. I needed someone to do it for me. They didn't really help much either though. In the state of Illinois, they got to it too slowly and by the time they started their discussion they turned over my account to a collections agency. They didn't save me any money, instead it costed me because they were too slow.

We saw an advertisement on TV for them and decided to go with it. At first I had to talk to 4 or 5 different people until they finally assigned someone to my case. That person was excellent though. I think they did the best they could do but they weren't really able to cut our taxes. We still had to pay the full amount in the end. They were alright though.

I did some research online at all the companies that handled tax difficulties. They seemed to have the best things in writing and it seemed secure. Initially, the customer support was great, but when I actually started dealing with my case things were different. I had a little difficulty sorting everything they had to tell me about my case. Still, they were very aggressive with the IRS since they were starting the process of seizing my assents. Tax Defense got to it and fixed that issue it in less than 24 hours. I feel positive about it. There were a couple of things that got me concerned, especially having to do with some of the penalties I got over not paying taxes. The person handling my case was not very clear about that. My only suggestion is that when assigning cases to their people they should think about the generational gap between their providers and the person they aid. 20-30 year old people are a bit more in a hurry and their explanations are not quite as clear sometimes. When they're dealing with someone my age, I don't think they necessarily have the patience to explain everything clearly, though that's a mild suggestion.

There were a couple of little hiccups here and there. We had problems with communication going back and forth. I would miss phone calls and opportunities because of that. It wasn't too bad though, plus some of it was my own fault. Overall it was great and I'm satisfied. Everything turned out ok and it should all be done and taken care of by the end of next year. They were pretty thorough. When it was all said and done, it was just a good experience. If I had to do it again, I would.

There was a different tax group that just wasn't that good for me, so I went with Tax Defense. They did the negotiating for me and it turned out really well. It was all as advertised unlike other similar companies that are all promises. They are very attentive and put you in touch with lawyers and everything. I don't think I would've been able to handle it on my own.

I got it since I needed assistance with my tax case. I was looking to get a tax settlement or get a payment agreement with the IRS. They were able to help me in a way that maybe I wouldn't be able to do. Maybe I could've accomplished it myself, maybe not, but they got quicker results and seem to know how to navigate the IRS. They immediately started moving along and gave me all the support I needed. It was impossible to get the IRS to tell me what issue I had. That said, I’ve come to understand that if you owe the IRS due to past tax mistakes, there is only so much a tax defense service can do.
