I was given misleading information when I originally spoke with the Sales rep that convinced me to sign up. Once I became a client; the agents that assisted me were very casual with following up with me. Thank n several occasions, I had to reach out to them for updates instead of them keeping me informed. I even experienced an incident where I requested a manager to explain my concerns and the manager said she would check into and get back with me the next morning. She did not call that morning and that day. She called me 2 days later. I was very dissatisfied with the manager following suit with the other 2 agents.

i hired Tax Defense to handle two issues. I had student loans that were in default. And I had federal tax debt. They handled the tax Debt first. I begged them to handle the student loans first. I wanted to buy a house. I knew the taxes would be fairly simple because of the Cares Act. But they felt that because my student loans were not being garnished anymore that they weren't really a priority. So they did those last. And when they did do my student loans, they didn't really do anything for me they just made a referral to William F. It looked like they were doing something, because I filled out all the paperwork for an income-driven program in a consolidation program Etc. However because my loans were in default they needed to be rehabilitated first. Getting my student loans together on my own was a nightmare. They charged me between 5 and $700 for the resolution of those and they did nothing for me on my student loans.the taxes were awesome.

I came to them with inaccurate facts, they sorted me out and they knew what to do And got the job done within the deadlines and efficiently. Communication got sloppy towards the end but it was a successful project at a very low price.

I wasn't sure how to handle some things with my taxes. I have several penalty abatements and amended returns that they are still working on. Every time I had a query, they always got back to me to discuss my status with the IRS. They'v been very profession. THe process takes about a hear and a half so we will still have to see how it goes.

Even though they were easy to contact at a break, nothing happened for about six weeks. We had to constantly follow up with the status. They would request docusment that we already sent and getting to the resolution, originally they said three to six months and it took about ten. I think we've got the resolution that we needed but it just took too long. They had to switch from one person that left the company and no one that replaced them was able to see any of the documents that we previously sent. It was just totally breaking down when they had to put somebody else on the account and it was like we started all over again.

Mainly I am pleased so far. Some of my things are up in the air that the government hasn't finished processing on there. I am pleased enough right now. I was very displeased at the beginning with the people that worked there. I feel like probably some others would have moved faster. They seem to do very well and do what they're supposed to do when I hired them, but with the first people I didn't have anybody working for me. It felt like I was on a back burner until towards the end of the involvement when they put me with a different team that actually followed through. They need to get on the work quicker and insure that all of their employees are responsive and not just the ones at the extreme crisis end of it.

I saw them out and so I'm satisfied. They were up front with everything but my case is so old that they did a settlement in compromise and I kind of felt like I paid more than I had to because they didn't have to do any little paperwork but overall their support and their communication and the fact that they were not deceptive in anyway were commendable.

They settled everything for me and then we had a couple issues and I went right back to them to sign back up. I would continue to use them because of their help and their feedback. I didn't seem like I got a whole lot of relief from the I. R. S. or the state of California, I wanted a better fresh start but I didn't qualify. When you have a question, they take your phone call and they answer your question, if they don't know they find out.

I have to give them a 5 because after the initial deal they made for us, they ended up representing us twice more when new issues arose, at no additional cost, ultimately taking care of a foreclosure for us turning a 40k debt to the IRS into less the $200 in unpaid taxes.

I had issues with the IRS that I've had for a while and when I first became an associate with tax defense network they were the first one to help me out to try and get my situation straightened out. I'm not impressed with the type of service from the people there. If you would have asked me this 2-3 years ago, I would have said exceptional service. I had to pay additional to process my taxes this year. I did not have a very good experience with some of the people that work there. They were a little rude and are just not the same faces when I started 3 years ago. I'm not so thrilled and I might not be with them much longer.

I needed some assistance with the IRS and it's not something that I can do myself and they help me a few years ago but now I'm working with them again because the IRS came back and said that my agreement was now void so I'm right back where I started. If we weren't able to talk to them on the phone at the time, they always made a point to call us back either the same day or the following day. When engaged, their service is excellence. sometimes, to the novice taxpayer in the crosshairs of the IRS, the communication lagged and cause worry on our part. But, in the end the service was excellent. The only other matter we are waiting on is counsel regarding our withholding status. We were supposed to have talked with a specialist to make sure we are taking the proper deductions.

was some help but was expecting more. I will continue to have to deal with tax debt. Arrangement with state is the same as I had before employing the service. My Federal debt is on hold but will have to be dealt with in the future. I was expecting a resolution not a deferral. I feel that the price that I paid is too high for a temporary solution as opposed to a permanent solution.

We did get off to a rocky start because of the information that the sales people had given to me but when all was said and done they came through for me and I appreciate it. I think the sales people should be more accurate with the how long this process would take. I was under the impression that my case would be worked on within a couple of weeks. I signed up after I found them on the internet, I thought I had another company. I'm a poor clients and I contacted them because I wanted them to help me to get my old taxes done and they did that very well. My only complaint is that they put me into archive files after 300 days but they talked to me about it. If I can choose again I'd pick another company. They were very responsive to voicemails that was left and emails that were sent, however lately it's been hard to get a hold of the agent that is handling my case. Just seems to be that they have a lot of personnel moving around I've in the short time with them and in less than six months, I am now on my third agent.
