I was literally sick to my stomach with stress over my taxes. I owed about $42k because of an investment loss. I won’t bore you with the details but needless to say, I was in trouble and headed toward an even worse situation since I had been putting this off and the IRS gave me a deadline. That’s when I finally decided to do something about it and called Optima Tax along with a couple other places. One place made me feel like I had walked onto a used car lot and I was being sold an old junker. The other place made it seem like I was bothering them and they were going to do me a favor or something by taking my case. Optima treated me with friendly respect and like they would partner with me to fix my problem. And that’s exactly what they did. I was very participatory along the way and did everything I could on my end to get them what they needed, when they needed it. If I asked a question, I’d get a straight answer. If I didn’t understand something, they’d explain it. There were definitely some bumps along the road but no matter what, Optima handled it. The end result is that I’m in an installment agreement based on what I can afford and, some of the debt is going to fall off before I have to pay it. So overall, I’m satisfied because I’m not worried anymore and I’ll have saved about $18k once all is said and done.

Optima's bill to me was half of a tax attorney! I didnt pay my taxes for years and tried a local tax attorney before Optima, medical issues... My previous tax attorney had me paying an outragious bill in back taxes, I thought that was crazy. So I called Optima and they interviewed me and investigated my situation. There was alot of back and forth with the IRS, but eventiually everything they reduced my tax bill to a really, really reasonable amount. My local tax attorney charged me more upfront than Optima did at the end of thier work, and my tax bill was reduceded to where I can breath again.

I thought I was in an impossible situation with the IRS owing them a lot of money, due to several mishaps, with no possible way to pay them, even a fraction, for the foreseeable future. Knowing that interest and penalties were accumulating daily only added to the stress and desperation. Optima patiently reviewed my issues, did their analysis and represented me very effectively, so that the offer in compromise was accepted. Optima was true to their word and it was a life changing situation for me that they fixed. I had been working with the IRS for about a year trying to get on a payment plan to no avail. They continued to deny me stating my household income was too high. I new that wasn't correct as my status was permanently disabled. My income was 1/3rd of what it used to be when I was working that created the tax debt. Feeling low one night watching tv i came across a Optima commercial. I called them the next day and within a month I had my payment plan that was 1/4 th of what the IRS wanted. They where true to their word and I am very satisfied with the results and would recommend them to anyone having tax problems.

I was in a really big jamb and needless to say I was in need of some assistance. I was facing quite a bit of trouble with the IRS for some past due taxes owed and couldn't afford to pay what they were telling me I needed to pay and when I had to do it by. If you owe money to the IRS, Optima is definitely a team of experts you want on your side. They were able to prevent them from wage garnishments and further actions beyond that point as well. I believe I'd probably be sitting in a room by myself and it wouldn't be one at home if it weren't for them. They are super friendly, efficient and without a doubt know what they are doing. They updated me every step of the way. If there was movement, I heard about it. I thought it was initially a little expensive for the service, but of course I didn't know what else to do. I shopped around and they were the lowest by far anyways. I took the plunge and as I type this out, I'm happy to let you know it's not in an 8x8. lol These guys truly are great at what they do. One thing that I'd like to point out is that not one person made me feel bad or poorly about my situation and just simply assured me that I was not only in capable hands, but assured me that I was in the right hands. Skeptical at first, then completely satisfied. I had long-term and very complicated tax issues and the IRS was coming after me to collect. After many years of back and forth dialogue and off and on arrangements, they finally refused to work with me and said they were about to use their power to make life difficult. I had heard about Optima and decided I should give them a try. From the very start, they were professional, patient, and thorough. I initially thought the retainer was a bit high and wondered if I was being taken for a ride. Turns out it was a bargain. They cleaned up my tax records, filed my back taxes, got me out of collections and worked on the best possible resolution I could expect for my situation. I went from IRS-(I'm really scared) to there is hope. I tried resolving my issue with the IRS alone. I did everything that was asked of me and then the IRS just got bigger and meaner. I heard of Optima tax relief on the radio. At the time I was somewhere around $40,000 in debt to the IRS.
