Beware!!! When your panels stop producing power they won’t replace the bad panels. Sunrun will just tell you that your other panels will make up for it. Loss production is loss production!

I have 30 panels and they have underperformed every year and I always have a true up bill of at least $1500 or more. I have called and complained and it gets me nowhere. Going solar with them was the worst mistake ever.

Hello Fransisco A. We appreciate your communication, and understand receiving a true-up bill that high is concerning. Now that your system has produced one full year worth of data we can run a savings analysis. With your utility, you'll be billed as a "net energy metering" (NEM) customer. This means that instead of billing you for all your electricity usage, your utility will bill you for the difference between system generation and how much electricity you used. In either case, you will receive a net metering statement that details your electricity usage, as well as any solar electricity credits you may have accrued each month (if you produced more electricity than you used). These credits will be incorporated into your utility bill, lowering your payment to the utility company. Hello Larry B. I’m sorry that you received a higher utility bill this month than the same month last year. There are many reasons why this could happen. For example, if you consumed more energy this year, your utility bill will be higher. Utility companies also tend to raise their rates, your utility company may be charging you more per kWh than they did last year.
