Poor customer service. Waited for an appointment for 6 weeks to have the technician arrive nearly 2 hours early, didn’t call, and left without doing any work. Extremely poor response regarding rescheduling—another 9 days later. Tech that came was fine but did not reset serial number for new inverter to connect for service. I had to figure that on my own.

SUNNOVA STEALS MY MONEY BY FAKING POWER DATA See the photo attached - Sunnova is claiming that my solar panels are generating power at midnight. Apparently, the sun in the Sacramento area never sets and the sun is as bright at 2 a.m. at midnight as it is at 2 p.m. How can someone lie so blatantly and treat users as fools? Only Sunnova has the guts to do this as they want to steal every penny from you without any respect for either God or people.

Overall it was a terrible experience I would get miss calls and when I call back, nobody response. I would get a follow up a week later. The communication and keeping me in the loop of what’s happen was terrible. Not all details were provided to me and I’d have to do my own research on things (tax, credits, options, etc). Worst of all, I would get uninvited visits and unscheduled visits to my house.

I was told by the design team when the installer comes out and he sees there’s more roof than what I’m seeing they will add more panels. Well that never happened. I have had some high APS bills, Which is really disheartening they’ve been three and $400 plus, plus I think if there is a breakdown in the system that means I haven’t been able to save up the solar hours for the winter and the extra that I usually get a check for the end of the year, so I’m not real happy with things right now

I called you guys, then Legacy and then Enphase. Everyone now points back to you to fix this problem, yet no one from your company has taken the leadership to get my app linked to my panels. Delay after delay! My panels ( or inverters ) need to be assigned to me so that I can monitor their output. How do we do this??

Worst experience ever!! I had an inverter failure and Sunnova was to replace my inverter. Setting an appointment was so frustrating. They kept giving me a date that I would be on vacation. I even changed weekend plans to accommodate one of their dates and they didn’t show up only to find out that I didn’t even need to be here even though I was told by Customer Service I had to be home. Seems like they place more value on new installs than servicing existing customers.

The employees showed up and told my wife what they were going to do. They were at my house for around 30 minutes. They left without letting my wife know and left my panels off, so we went a week without our panels working at all. I contacted Sunnova and they were quick to respond, however they were unable to help me and pointed me to Generac to have them fix it.

DO NOT SIGN UP till you ask how they notify you when your system fails They have an app, website, emails, none of them would let you know when the system fails on you till you get almost $500 utility bill on top of lease fee. System stopped working in middle of May got june utility bill for 175 and July bill for 450, never produced energy for almost 2months. SALES REP TELLS US TO CHECK THE PANEL FOR THE PRODUCTION EVERY DAY. WHO DOES THAT? If system fails customers must be notified VIA APP OR TEXT MESSAGE.

Garbage service. The rep who recently helped me was useless and clueless, my issue is still unresolved. I would never go with this company. Unfortunately for me, I had no choice since this solar company came with Lennar; my home builder. I hate this company and would NEVER pick this company on my own. It’s pretty BS that I don’t have a choice in which solar company I want to go with and now I’m stuck with this cheap, nonsense company the builder picked.

If I could give this company negatives stars I would!!! I didn’t even get my solar from them they were just doing warranty work for Generac. Their scheduling system is terrible. We scheduled an apt they never showed, we called to reschedule then never told us rescheduled the service but sent people to our house which we weren’t home. We called to reschedule again they couldn’t give us a date but said they would contact us. They never contacted us but again sent a crew to our house. This company is absolutely terrible
