Having the solar system installed was an easy process. The company replaced my roof then installed the solar panels. Monitoring the system is easy and can be done using a computer or smart phone. The technology appears to be top notch.

Sunny days

When I was approached to have a system installed, the salesman and the follow up team were very informative and thorough. The installation was accomplished quickly and the team cleaned everything up and left the property clean. I have recommended Sunnova to all of my friends and acquaintances .

So far Sunnova has been great! They have an answer to every question, take care any issues that arise, gave me a clear and accurate time line and have not tried to oversell me on a system. They cold called me and I was leery at first, but am glad I listened to them. The experience has been painless and I would highly recommend them as a provider as they put the customer first.

I had my Sunnova system installed several years ago. I have never had any problems with the system. Installation was fast and professional. I have saved a lot of money on power bills during this time. I would highly recommend Sunnova to anyone. Specially new home owners. Don't get stuck paying high electricity bills right from the start of your home ownership.

No one has getting back to me in a few weeks. The guy who is suppose to be handling my case was on vacation for 2 weeks but it has been 3 and yet no answer to my question. My electric company wants me to sign a contract stating I have a 1 million dollar policy on my home. Which is not worth 300,000. Not good!

I am not at all happy with my solar. I was told during day light I would be total solar. It is now 89 degrees outside and I am still pulling from the grid. I am also not happy that a battery was not supplied with this deal, because I am using to much electric and now paying for both. VERY dissatisfied.

WORST EVER!! I hired Sunnova to install solar panels. They overcharged for their PPA. They made promises they didn't keep. NO SHOW, NO CALL. Worst customer service EVER!! I will never use this company again. And to think some builders require that you hire them.

Don’t go with Sunnova worst customer service, they won’t have a clue whenever you have questions. They won’t sell you enough solar panels and then they will offer you to get more of curse for extra charges. And your bill from duke won’t stop so like me I end up with two bills

I take full responsibility for not fully reading my contract before the installation. I was not told my bill from Sunnova would vary and I will be charger at a higher rate as time goes on. I am actually going to be paying more than I was paying before I got solar. I asked about buying the system and was told that was not an option for five years. I listened to what I was told but I was not told the full story. Learn from my experience. COMPLETELY READ THE CONTRACT before buying. I'm sure this review will be removed quickly. Buyer beware.

They were very efficient in installing the solar panels and electrical equipment. However, the project manager has not returned our phone calls for the last two weeks. He was going to look into why our Solar system was not generating to the correct capacity.
