The entire process was effortless and the team made it easy to accomplish tasks. However, the directions given via email for Florida power and light were inaccurate. Also, I suggest explaining how to go about paying the solar bill after everything is connected and turned on so that the process is more seemless.

It took a lot longer than expected. Initially communication was aweful and very slow, if I got communication at all. I was able to get an agent who cared and took personal responsibility for ensuring I got the information I needed. The production of the solar is less than I was expecting and I still have to pay an electric bill to RI energy, which I was hoping to eliminate.

system is great - but it took a long time to fix the problem and did not get any reimbursement for paying double for a couple months, paying my electric company and sunnova at the same time. My electric bill was over $100. and my Sunova payment was over $100. Not a good situation.

There are still questions that cannot be addressed such as Enphase or SPAN app. Been in PTO 10 days, but the panels are still not producing properly. Online data seems different from both apps. Early termination fee from my previous electrical provider has not been taken cared

Everyone was very friendly, but there was much confusion over many months and numerous appointments before the installation was complete. Admittedly, I don’t know all that is involved, but it seems that if the same crew had done the job from start to finish it would have gone more smoothly and possibly would not have taken 6 months to complete. I’m happy with the end result, but the process was frustrating.

Sunova was good about answering calls and taking action. The field tech is very knowledgeable and did the job right but needs to follow up sooner than he did by withholding his work report and not sending details of what he did to restore production as he had promised.

The overall service was great, only some minor communication issues with the lead worker. On day one he indicated he didn’t need to go to the basement so we stepped out of the house, then he calls to say he needs to go in the basement. He also indicated he didn’t need to go to the attic on day one, then he changed his mind about that as well.

Sales pitch was great. Then they turned my project over to second and third party installers and operators. Did not hear from them until after the fact. I was getting bounced around from Sunnovo and the third party operator. So far the third party site is more informative than the information available on the sunnovo app. I have to have both to see what is going on. Kind of inefficient. Still waiting to see what my FPL cost savings will be.
