have had a flea infestation for going on two months now. I’ve had appointments booked FOUR separate occasions. First time the gentleman could only do outdoors (covid so we understood). However he did not lay the flea stuff in the grass. Second appointment for RE SERVICE then gentlemen calls and asks if he can come early and I tell him yes. He then never shows up. I call and the office says he told them I wanted to reschedule. Not true. Third service was two weeks ago when I had three young men come to do my indoor and outdoor treatment. They did a half way job of the back yard and STILL did not treat the yard for fleas. They then went indoors to do the house and they did not move anything. They did not spray every room. They were in and out of house faster than I could drive up and down the street to get my cell phone. HIGHLY unhappy with Aptives service. I was also charge for my QUARTERLY on my RESERVICE!!!! I should not have been charged twice. I need the money back in my account! I have yet again moved all my personal pets and all my foster kittens out of the house FOUR times for y’all to show up two times!!! It is not fair. I’ve called and talked to so many different people who always say I’ll get a call back and I’ve never received a call!! I want my money back and I want the original job to be done correctly!! It is not fair.

If you can’t tell us what time you will be in my house how can i open my door. Is this your service or just for the money. How come i know this is the person for pest service . He just came in front of my house at 7:30 am did something in front , did not call us or email us , like I’m outside and open your backyard door. How come we know what you are doing outside my house?????. And he left a note to my front door for reschedule the appointment, i called in Sacramento service center, she was soo rude, and said we can’t touch the door bell because of covid-19- thats is ok good. If you can’t touch the door bell then how come you touch my door to place the card for reschedule. Is that make sense. Is this your customer service.????? Very disappointed and time wasting and of course money waste . Do not make people fool. Improve your conversation with customer.

Today early morning the Aptive employee came, however the service was not good this time. We told him to spray fertilizer by the fence and storage house, and he only did it in a few places outside. He only took 5 minutes and when we we called him when he was sitting in the car, he did not pick up. Also, the service was too quick this time - it only took him 5 minutes to complete everything. He did not take the time to listen to us on places we wanted it to be fertilized. Next time, we would like much better services from Aptive, and I hope they can take the time listen to their customers. Thank you!

I spoke with Johnathan about some gaps in the North facing crawl space access. He plugged some gaps in a different access and there are still gaps in the other one. You should have record of those gaps being filled I accidentally knocked the caulking loose.

I called over the weekend and rescheduled my 3/2 service to 3/13, but instead of canceling the 3/2 service you sent techs out anyway, and added an additional service on 3/13. Well since You ended up completing my service on 3/2 anyway, please cancel the 3/13 appointment. The reason why I attempted to reschedule it from 3/2 to 3/13 is because I don’t have 89$ to pay you until 3/13, so please wait until then for the payment I owe for the 3/2 service you completed yesterday. In the future, “cancel & reschedule“ means to replace the original scheduled date with a new date at the customers’ discretion. Thank you, Matt Jovanelly

So far I’m seriously unimpressed. It’s been one issue after another. The techs that have come to the house have been horrible, especially the last one, Bob. I immediately called the main number and the girl that answered didn’t seem interested that I was having issues. I was told a manager would call me back and of course that has NOT happened. I’m looking into other exterminators as I’m very displeased overall.

Can we say negative star. This company will not allow the owner of the home to say no to a service. Even when payment is offered, but declining service for that month. Spruce states that they can spray your home even if you say no and if you decline they bill you for the entire year of service up front for nothing. Had two treatments for Rocky Mountain ticks in the yard. Treatment was ineffective and found more ticks after the treatment. They sprayed around my house, but the ticks were in a back yard tree. When we declined Winter treatment (since our yard is covered in snow that the children play in) they billed us for the entire year of service . Horrible customer service. Ineffective pest control. Serious scam.

Avoid a contractual obligation for subpar services. Aptive has a mode of fixing what you tell them is wrong, opposed to inspecting and treating what you have not found. Their scheduled services follow the same model, only correcting what may be visible. This equates to a technician walking around your house and 5 minutes later you are charged $140 without any actual service. Coming from Florida, pest control companies there actively inspect and treat every single time, leaving the management of the pest control to an expert. This is compared to Aptive hiring a college student looking for a summer job and expecting you to tell them what is wrong. After trying to reschedule appointments to be present for the services, they would come regardless. When I attempted to cancel they pulled out the contract and charged a cancelation fee. This is a complete waste of money for virtually no services. Look to real, local experts for your pest control.

They have come to the wrong house 3 times now. And at least twice they sprayed outside of someone elses house. The second time I caught them just as they were about to leave after spraying another house in my subdivision. After the last time I called the main company and was asked if someone could take a picture of what my house looks like with detailed instructions to get here. Today, I received a call that the tech was about 15 minutes from my home. He didn't show up till about 30 minutes later I asked if he got lost he said yes he went to Jackson Trace? I have no idea! When I got a text message yesterday saying you were coming today I called to make sure that your company was back to spraying inside and outside. The lady on the phone said yes they were coming to spray both outside and inside. I thought I would be pleased today. The tech was very polite and when he came to the door I asked him if he was going to do the outside or inside first. He said outside and asked me to open my garage door so he could spray inside. I opened the door and he asked if I had a water spigot I'm assuming to mix the pest spray. He rang the door bell again and said I could now shut the garage door. After the door was closed I assumed he was continuing with the outside and then coming in. I heard our trash truck coming and looked out the door since he was parked in front of our trash cans. I saw the Aptive tech in the truck and I thought he was in there to move his truck for the trash man. But no he did not he sit there while the trash man had to get out of his truck and pull the trash can back to empty it. The tech never came back in my house to spray the inside. I told your company I did not want them coming back until they could do both and I was assured they would today. I then called your main office again and was told they were going to send a message to the local office to get the tech back to my house today or set up an appointment to come back. I was also told I would get a reduced rate for today of $71.00 it appears I am getting charged $90.00 for someone to walk around the outside of my house and I live in a villa that is smaller than my original house where I signed up for the service. If I don't hear from you again I'm assuming you could care less for your customers! Please read this all! Thanks. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I am not in auto pay but this company keeps taking money out my account without my permission. I keep getting a different end date and no one seems to know how to get anything done right. I will be telling everyone the lack of care you have for your customers. Never again!
