Was convinced to switch over to you from Insight from salesman Conner. Told service man about wanting to taking lawn sample of yard to service certain bugs, not done. Told service man about spraying inside for spiders before service, again not done. Should have kept Insight and will probably cancel service tomorrow.

Missed webs in obvious locations: behind the AC unit, base of the house and Pergola. I ask him specifically to de-web my kids play structure and it doesn’t look like he touched it. This isn’t the first time a tech has zipped through my service and missed webs in obvious locations. I don’t blame this tech, I blame the company. I believe this is how they are trained because all of the techs do this. 15 min on a property @ $119 is $476 per house. This is very poor service regardless of the amount. If my re-service is not done correctly I will be changing companies. Thank you. *Could not upload pictures due to size limitations.

There was supposed to be atleast 2 bait stations- 1 in front yard and 1 in back yard- as we have a huge rat problem. I only saw 1 in the front yard. There are still a lot of cobwebs that were missed around the patio area. A huge active wasp nest was also missed on the side of the house. I would like someone sent back out to address these issues.

I'm Regretting signing up with you guys already. I signed up on 7/18/2020 and I want to cancel service if you guys are unable to meet my needs. This 1 star rating is for Aptive the company and not the technician who showed up for my service call this morning, 7/31/20 @ 10am EST. - When I requested for this service call I clearly told the customer rep on the phone to make sure that your tech shows up with a 25ft ladder to which he agreed and assured me that would not be a problem. - One of the vents on the side of my house has an old bird nest with No Birds sticking out and I need you guys through use of a 25ft ladder to remove it, that's it a simple request. The tech arrived and told me Aptive does not have 25ft ladders and that you don't handle jobs like this. If that was the case why did Aptive agree to the request, I only signed with you guys thinking I was giving you a shot but it turns out that I'm already regretting my decision. - At this rate I might be better off cancelling service with Aptive and staying with my current Pest Control company Frontline before my service with them ends in July.

He didn't listen to me. I had to tell him and show him many times where to put the slug and snail killer sprinkles. He hardly put any on. He acted like it was made of gold. I had to tell him please put more on. I said you don't understand how bad it is when it rains they come out. This is the worst year I have had and I have lived here since the home was new in 2008. The store bought stuff I have used doesn't work. I also asked about killing spiders. he did nothing for that. I am going to be looking for another pest control company. This was the 3rd appointment I had for this problem and the first 2 appointments nobody showed up or bothered to call and let me know they were not going to show up after multiple calls and emails reminding me. I stayed home and waited all day those days. It took a month and I finally got someone here, but how sparingly he applied the shaker that my problem is solved. You have terrible customer service.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I'm kicking myself I ever fell for the door-to-door antics (especially considering they completely neglected my "No Soliciting" sign in the middle of a pandemic), but I hope this deters even one other person from doing the same. They suck you in with an immediate scheduling for your initial walkthrough and then literally never talk to you again. I had to reach out TO THEM after they never showed at the next scheduled time. Thought it was just a fluke, they apologized, but then it happened AGAIN at my rescheduled time. No call, no show, and lied and said they "dropped off a note the next morning" which they definitely never did. Spent hours on the phone and could only ever reach national customer service who said they put in an urgent request to have the branch management call me to explain...here I am a week later with no response. After three chances to make this right (and complete radio silence from anyone at the Portland branch) I finally called to cancel and surprise!!!--got kicked to national customer service again. They tried to "graciously" waive the $240 cancellation fee and refused my request to refund my initial payment. Tried to ask for someone from my branch please reach out to discuss further and they hung up on me. I can only imagine anything better than a one star review is based solely on the first visit--everyone I have spoken with about this company agrees they are incapable of any follow through and are the definition of a scam.

Short and simple; they are cones and do not have a clue what they are doing. In fact I believe the product they use actually attacks the mole, vole, and pocket gophers. I have never had the issues that I have now until they came and put their feed down to feed them. They continue to destroy my yard at high rate of speed. I have called and requested a revisit and then called to request a refund and that they not charge my card any more for their services that DO NOT WORK! the customer support person on the phone said some one would be contacting me to finalize everything and close my account. still have not heard from any one. CONES STAY AWAY!!

3 hr notice for quarterly service. On hold for 30 minutes multiple times to try to reschedule with no luck. Tech apparently showed up, I only know this because I received a message from my bank that my pmt had been withdrawn. Ran outside to see an unmarked white truck driving away with the yellow handle of their sweeper hanging out of the bed. He did not enter my yard, my dogs would have alerted me and my gate is extremely heavy and loud when closed. I tried their app in attempt to contact someone but it was conveniently “down for maintenance”. I sent an email and eventually someone from out of state called me back, wasn’t even able to talk to someone local. I cancelled my service and was told I would receive a confirmation email, yet to see that. Not sure I believe it has been cancelled since they lie about everything else.

I been a customer from Aptive for about 5 years, everything was great not until now that it’s a disaster get in hold of customer service and unfortunately the technician that I got in the last 3 times (re-do) aren’t been so great, this last time it’s been a nightmare to talk to them and the technician applied the Slugo in the back and front yard , but on the cement , not essentially the planters or the citrus tres, terrible service, service with aptitude, not our fault to not the technician doing a great job from the beginning, as should be to prevent re-dos!!!!! Not a great service like before ago!!!!

I was very disappointed in my service today. The window of service was only provided to me when I called and was on hold for 20 minutes because the information was not available online. The tech seemed rushed and for the second time the technician did not have the pest traps for my garage. The exterior also was not treated to remove spider webs which the technician stated he removed. My inspection after he left showed otherwise.

Service was fast but noticed on invoice it included the garage which didn’t happen. Was trying for a while to call for a follow up and could never get through after about a half an hour of waiting on the phone which I can understand but never got a callback the rest of the day after I opted to have you guys call me back. We’ve noticed more ants within the house after initial treatment and just had questions on why and when to schedule an interior treatment. Not a great first impression of the company.

Today the person from Co. came too late, with no calls before which caused lots of inconvenience for my wife.He then only did outsides. Evidently oursw was his last mission of the day.

What service? I only found your card stuck in the door. Didn't see any ant control granules after you were there but before it rained and washed it all away anyway. It must be hard to see spider webs, because you missed most of them. My mulch beds are all overrun with ants, and this would have been the 3rd treatment in 3 months. You also treated for mice and rats, but that's only a problem in the winter months. The rest of the year is ants, spiders, wasps, hornets, and other creepy-crawly pests. My wife and I were both home. You could have called before you arrived to tell us you were coming. You could have called once you were here. But you didn't, so there's no way to know what you really did, if anything. You may know your job, but your customer service leaves much to be desired, and it's the customer service that I was promised when I switched to Aptive. By the way, the monster rain storm yesterday after you left washed away all that you may have done.

Aptive showed up in my neighborhood and spoke of excellent service. I agreed cause we recently have been seeing an influx of ants. I signed up for service and that same day they did outside treatment. They could not do inaide service and said they would do it in 1st cycle in august. The very next day we saw alot of ants trying to get in house again. And for over a week now ive tried to reach customer service, ive emailed and ive textdd and recieved no answer after they promised if we had an issue they woukd be right here to fix it. They lied and now have us under contract. I plan to fight the contract and sue the company due to horrible ethics and in my opinion, fraud. Never use this company.

Customer service is terrible. On hold for over 45 minutes trying to get through. You have to go thru the Utah switchboard to get around to local branch. The local cancellation department was supposed to call me back today and of course I have heard nothing from them. I cancelled back in February and they said I had 1 more treatments scheduled in May or early June and if I cancelled early there would be a penalty, so I told him do that service and then cancel. Well low and behold they show up and do a treatment on July 13th even though this is no where even close to the time they told me and my contract should have been up. ** Pet owners take notice!!! To top it all off, the technician left my side gate open so when I let my dogs out, not knowing the gate was wide open, I had to chase them down. I swear if Aptive show up again I will call the cops and have a trespass warning issued! Terrible excuse for a company and operation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many cockroaches and bugs inside my house 😔🥵😡. Technician came but only treated outside and the garage. He refused to treat inside with reason I have cats and covid-19 😡😡. When I called the office before the technician arrived, no one tell me upfront that Aptive doesn't treat inside the house because of covid. The lady who spoke to me said the technician will treat inside the house. I am already very upset Aptive did not return my yesterday phone call and again I have to wait more than 15 minutes every time I called. The second called today was a quite long wait too. After 20 minutes, the phone system kicked me out and asked me to leave a message and phone number. I did but until now no one call back...just like yesterday. I am very upset now. If Aptive did this to a million customers by not treating inside the house, how much money the company makes and customer still have to pay in full. I though face mask and face shield are required when performing tasks? It's like I have a toilet problem but the plumber cannot come inside my house because of covid. Seriously??

Totally Dissatisfied With My Aptive Account! Tried to Call 2 Days in A Row ...No Response Back. They even Have A system to Call Back your Number, it Doesn't Work! My Appointment was Today & They usually Come in The Morning, nobody came...Waiting All Day! With the Price Point So High, They Should Be More Up to Par with Customer Service! Recently Everytime i Ask For A Agent to Spray inside the House, They Say Call the Office...to Reschedule. Finally Someone Came As I was Writing this Review...Did A Very Lazy job...Sprayed Garage door & Back Sliding door and Left! Not Even 3 or 5 minutes and Left! I'm Overpaying i could get the Chemicals from Home Depot and Do A Better & throrough Job Myself!

I would give no stars if possible!! I have given them many opportunities to remedy the problems, and they don't seem to care. Liars and thieves! I am a Shark Tank and Kevin O'Leary fan, but Aptive is a horrible company! Snake oil salesmen! We signed up for pest control, and were told we would start seeing results after 2 weeks. June 8th is when we signed up. They did one treatment, and our pest problem got worse instead of better! The tipping point was when my 4 year old daughter went out to ride her bike on our back porch for 5 minutes, and came in because her legs were just eaten up and had huge red bumps all over them! I figured, I've given this plenty of time to "work", so I'm gong to call. On Wednesday, July 8th, I called, and after going through an automated menu and holding about 15 minutes, I finally got to speak to a person. This person said that the Aptive team was already scheduled to come back out that Friday, and, according to her, you "don't see results until after the second treatment anyway". She even asked me follow-up questions for the Friday appointment. I expressed to her that I would be anxious to see if it worked after the second treatment. Well, along comes Friday. I don't see or hear from any Aptive reps. So, that evening I called to see what was going on. Were they just just really delayed or what? After waiting 20 minutes this time to talk to someone, I was told that we never had an appointment even scheduled. WHAT?! Are you kidding me?! She attempted to schedule us for another appointment, but with it not working, and then being lied to about an appointment, my husband decided we should cancel. We were transferred to Heather in the "Loyalty Department". She seemed very understanding and nice, however, she was unable to do much herself. She informed us that service sign-up is usually $249, and we got in on a special promotion to get a $149 discount, and that's why we were only charged $108.25. However, according to her, if you cancel, you have to pay out the remainder of the contract, an additional $149. She said there is a 72 hour cancelation window. (First time to hear that) Due to our inconvenience, she would waive the remaining contract balance. But all she could do was recommend to her superior that we get a refund. In other words, you get no refund, but you should be thrilled we didn't steal more money from you for something that not only didn't work, but made the problem worse. Of course I'm not happy with this, and asked who we should contact to get things further resolved. She said all she could do was make the recommendation, but that we should be expecting a call from Branch Manager, Zach F, by the following Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I thanked her for her time and waited for the call or a refund. Nothing. I waited until Thursday evening, just in case there any delays. Still nothing. So I called. Again, "longer than usual wait times". This time, I hit * to have them "call me back", as instructed by their recording. No call back. I called back today, July 17th. After another 15 to 20 minute wait, I speak to Cassie. She is unable to connect me to anyone directly. After talking with her and explaining everything that happened, she tells me that there is no Branch Manager named Zach F. Zach is apparently only a sales rep. She gives me another name, José Z, who is supposedly the Fort Worth branch manager. She says she will email him, and call him when we hang up. How many lies is this company going to tell?! Putting aside the fact that the product had ample time to work and didn't, 1) lied to about service appointment 2) lied to when told someone would call by Tuesday 3) lied to about branch manager's name. This company has crooked business practices across the board!! Scammers! Fraudulent thieves! Do NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

My appt for 3 Jul was cancelled by your company. I didn’t receive any notification on when I would be rescheduled. I reached out to them on 15 Jul and I was told that I would be rescheduled for 30 Jul. I asked the question does this make your company in breech of contract since you are so worried about me canceling? No response to that question but I was told that a technician would now be coming on 17 Jul?! No text message reminders, no emails. When I call your office to speak with someone I was on hold too long so I hung up. I will complete my 1 yr contract but rest assure that I will be canceling after that. You are obviously one of those companies that like to get your money and contracts and don’t care about customer service after that. By the way this is no reflection on your technician, he was great.

I do feel good about the treatment of my lawn and home because it is friendly to the environment. Your salespeople and technicians do no wear masks. The list of completed tasks were definately not done. The list states webs were cleared from lights and awnings and eaves this did not happen. There are two wasp nests on both the front door and behind the left porch post, not even addressed. I was begged to do service with this company that I would be impressed. I am disappointed and so far this has been a mistake.

I was promised that Active would spray for Spiders and Aphids along with other bugs. I was told that a technician would come back in a month to spray again for eggs that have hatched. The technician never showed until I called in complaining of Spider infestation and my roses being ate up by Aphids. It was almost as if the first guy fed them. Yesterday, a new guy showed up and said Spiders and Aphids are hard to kill. He sprayed so we will see if they come back again with Vengeance. He was only here for about 15 minutes and did not do a great job of knocking down the Spider Webs but we will wait and see.

The technician Don was very good and was very attentive to our needs. But unfortunately we didn’t even know we had an appointment today. We’re supposed to be last Wednesday and someone called on a recorded line and cancelled our appointment at3:50 and told us they’d get back to us at a later date, so today it was and we had no idea!! Your customer service is horrible and can’t answer questions or get anything done for us!! Don gets an A plus but customer service gets an F

Calling into the national call center is a real pain in the rear. Very very long hold times. I asked to be called back and never received a call back. I WANT A PHONE. NUMBER TO MY LOCAL OFFICE!!! I also want the technician to knock on my door so I can talk to them and explain the issue and see what they do about it . That did not happen at this appointment . I’m not happy with Aptive.

The setup process was really easy but then rescheduling my initial appointment was frustrating. I was not present for the initial treatment but when I came home I still saw old spiders nests on the easement and our outdoor dinning set and kids toys where not wiped down. Two days later there is a spider web and spider connected from the umbrella to the patio post. I'm sure the spray works fine and I did see one dead cockroach so that's promising but the spider webs are still on our patio furniture.
