Impossible to get a hold of When the reservice finally arrived They did so without calling and just showed up at whatever time. I called and called for two weeks to get a reservice I spoke to many reps, being given the run around by voicemail ma Hines and lines getting cut off. The only people that would answer we’re sales reps trying to sell me a service I already had. Quick to sale Very painfully slow to deliver on promises . « Oh well call you back, make this our top priority » Two weeks and nothing. They promise you the moon and deliver cow Dunn. When the techs do get here, they are kind and polite and take instruction well. So it’s not the individuals, it’s the company that’s hard to reach and then just dispatched people on whatever day they want. Best part? The day I did get reservice (which was the selling point I initially) a second tech showed up an hour or so after the first one had left. Also, by the time the finally reservice a, my quarterly was due a week later So, hardly helpful. I tried calling, sending emails, using the chat, nothing but sales attempts. When my app wasn’t working I called for support, the couldn’t help me so the also told me they’d notified the company and would call me back « tomorrow » but never did. I don’t what to call the failure, poor customer service? Inability to follow through? Again, the techs are nice and competent, the whole organization around it is pathetic. Too bad it costs so much to cancel.

I do not like the unorganized habits of your company. One month you treat for everything needed and two month later you tell me you do not treat for that insect anymore. Your time scheduling for your technicians is irregular and not the times or even days you tell me over the phone. I am cancelling my service now that the contract has expired. Even the information you give me on when the contract expires has been irregular. Do not contact me again.

Not given what was promised. The “technician” was in and out in under 10 minutes and did not provide the services promised. I was told all eaves would be sprayed, as well as three feet out from the perimeter. I was also promised flea and tick treatment for the entire yard. There is NO WAY this was all completed in less than 10 minutes. I opened the gate for this “technician” and went inside very briefly. When I came out to check on him, he was GONE! He just left and didn’t say a word. This company is a SCAM! Over 355 complaints to the BBB in the last 12 months. I canceled after this “technician” failed to do his job. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I would give zero stars if that was an option.

The plan summary statws the front and backyards were treated which is contradictory to the notes from the technician and what he actually treated. The salesperson stated they’d service 30 ft out from the house but the tech said that is not part of the service. Not very pleased with this deceptive practice.

I still have spider webs on my house and porch. He only walked the parameter of my house with a hand spreader not the 40 feet band the salesman stated. I called as soon as he left to talk to someone. I was on hold for nearly 20 minutes. I spoke to someone in UT not in my area. I explained the services the salesman offered and the slight services I received. The technician was at my house for approximately 15 minutes. I was out mowing my yard when he arrived. As per the salesman I told him I would open the garage for him to treat it. I stayed busy reloading the mouse boxes I have around the outside of my house. He placed a single large box at the corner of my house about 8 inches from the foundation. After he left I moved it to a bare spot under the fireplace chimney. I have a row of hedges 6 feet out on that side of the house. He stayed between the hedges and the house when he was applying products. The same can be said all the way around the house. He seemed to be in a fire ball hurry to get to his next appointment and I only got part of the services the salesman told me I was getting. On the call the representative said he would reschedule someone to redo the first treatment. He said Monday morning was the first opening. I explained that if the treatment wasn't per the salesmans statement that I expected a full refund and cancelation of all services. The salesman was very friendly and might be over selling to get the business. However, I expect the services promised. I'm willing to give the company a second chance to do right by me. If things are done substandard on Monday I will take action with the BBB and follow that with the appropriate legal actions. I would welcome a call from upper management to discuss my experience.

So far the tech didn’t realize I was home. When I saw him he didn’t really say much other than what type of pests am I seeing? Didn’t let me know he was finished just left. I would of liked to have known what he actually sprayed after he was done. My dogs aren’t liking the chemicals used/ I will be keeping an eye on them to make sure they don’t get ill.

I’m not completely sold on the products you use. Our tech was fine- but not super personable- he left a gate open and I felt he was a bit annoyed if he didn’t have a clear path - he seemed impatient. Maybe it was his last house of the day on a Friday- but it showed.

We have bagworms/ cocoons (?) or something all over our fence and pool fence. He sprayed the area but left all of them hanging everywhere. Our last pest company would’ve removed the nest or bugs when they came. Many of the cocoons are still stuck on the fence and alive.....

Overcharged my mom, was taken care of but only after we tracked down my agent and he fixed. First treatment guy was here 15 minutes. Still had wasp nests and saw many spiders. Michael came out today and got all nests and spent the time to do job correctly! Thank u Michael

Not satisfied he did only less 10 minutes and I have big house to spray. I just open the gate for him and when I went outside his gone . First he told me about 20 minutes to do , he ask me do I need to tell you if I leave ? I said No that’s fine . But when I go out to see him is disappear and go around outside his services car is gone. I called him right away he told me his done the service. I mention about my front lawn grass if he spray because that’s the bugs is coming from and I have childcare that I need to protect them when there out . All my past service came before I don’t tell them they will spray . Actually mostly in the backyard before because I have grass but I put concrete already . I just really disappointed the service this time . That’s my feed back .

Totally loved Anthony. Outside service ok only had bad storms all evening and night, pretty sure there isn't any chemical left any where outside now. Disappointed when Anthony came in the house with one little aerosol can of spray for the house. Something my 70 yr old self could do by myself. Hopefully we can start over with the initial service since the environment eliminated any of the hard work Anthony did.

I signed up for Aptive two days ago, 5/12/2020. After the salesman left, I quickly did some research and realized I had made a mistake. I called the local branch to cancel as I hadn't even received a contract or service agreement yet. The lady I spoke to canceled my appointment scheduled for that day and told me she canceled my contract per my request. Later that same day, I finally received a copy of the service agreement. In order to make sure I complied with the cancellation policy, I filled out the cancellation form and sent it to the email address listed in the form. I immediately received a bounce back and the email address is not valid. So I called the local branch again. It clearly went to more of a central office because the lady I spoke to referenced the local branch (Raleigh, NC) being a new branch. She couldn't even confirm an email address for anyone at the branch, or for the branch itself. She let me know that everything she saw showed me as cancelled, stating that my card was not on auto pay and would not be charged. I don't understand how your company has service agreements with email addresses listed to cancel but aren't valid. Also, no one can provide an accurate email address? I'm leaving this review #1 as another attempt to contact your company to let them know I am exercising my contractual right to cancel within the 3 days of signing up for service. #2 to let you know about the poor experience so you can help fix it for your company and customers.

Awful company. They go door to door - hard to chase them a way with a broom. They convinced me that they handle rats humanely and locked me into a contract. Rats, birds, and other critters have stumbled around our lawn to die over the period of 48 hours with our dog chomping at the bit to eat them. Came to the conclusion that what aptive is doing is not humane or safe for other creatures. Tried getting out of my contract and they just told me that I should know what i signed up for - terrible customer service. The manager agreed to cancel my contract, hung up on me, then went ahead and billed me anyways. A rat trap is more humane and cheaper. Save the trouble.

Don’t know if he did, he didn’t ring to let us know. Also, the ant problem we keep calling and calling about just is not going away. They are still EVERYWHERE. I am getting so frustrated with Aptiv, honestly.

We signed up with Aptive on Monday, 05/11, through a salesman who came through the area. We have a major vole infestation, and together we charted a strategy for eradication. He assured me that he had a veteran pro technician he could bring in, and our plan was to carpet bomb the back yard with repellent crystals and place several bait stations around the perimeter. Unfortunately, the technician who showed up Tuesday, 05/12, though he was prompt and courteous, he lacked the equipment, supplies and know-how for dealing with our problem. I fault Aptive management for setting up this nice guy for failure. He did not have any repellent on the truck ("we're out"), and looked puzzled when I mentioned the bait stations. It appears like a communication breakdown between the salesman, Dallas C, and the folks who manage dispatch. I wanted to cancel Tuesday's appointment then and there, but the fellow said he had other things he could do, and so did them, for which I thanked him. If I were more cynical, I would suspect them of rushing the first visit to lock me into the service agreement; I choose not to be negative. We have a second visit scheduled for this Friday, 05/15, and I am hopeful that things will run more to plan. I am in it for the long haul with you folks, so work with me here and this will have a positive outcome. Dallas recommended a repeat treatment after the initial vole attack at 2 weeks, and as needed going forward. He was shocked at the extent of the problem. Last night I was spraying my own repellent on the yard - I said this was a team effort- and I killed 6 voles with my boots just stomping on the suckers as they ran away. So, here is looking to a great second visit and lots of great reviews!! thanks for your understanding. David Lloyd

The technician that came today and yesterday were good. Its bad that they had to come and try and clean up something that should have been done in the first place.i am totally unhappy with the service we have been receiving. For one you can not get through to anyone in management to return your phone call. I feel that they are avoiding you . In order to talk to someone you have to choose the option as if you are a new customer. Then you talk to a person still not somein management. I ask that persons to have management call me back and they want. I got an email saying that they will call me but no one has. I will be canceling my service soon as i have time to play the game and get a life person on the phone. I also plan to go on my neighbor hood app and let my community know with pictures included. I normally would not do this but with the way things are now and money is very tight I doint want anyone else to go through what we are.We have been with your company since 2018 and you have never had to hunt us down for your payment you do a very good job of taking my payment if you could perform your services as good as you take our money we would be fine. You need new management to over see your customers before you loose them all to your competitors.

Incredibly frustrated. I was supposed to get a call before the technician came to my house. I never got a call. I kept trying to watch for the technician as I needed the skylights inside my house (not all the usual places out of respect for the altered plan re the covid virus situation-although no issue w/me or my house) taken care of due to spiders. He apparently came and went without doing full treatment and does not appear to have done full outside treatment. I don't think he went around the outside of my house, as I was sitting by a large window and he never walked by spraying the outside base of the house. PLEASE REMOVE YOUR CHARGE FROM MY BANK STATEMENT UNTIL THE FULL TREATMENT CAN BE DONE!!!!! It is fraud to charge me for what was NOT done! I have called three times and talked to three different people who were only able to take notes!!!!!
