He came and rang the door bell when he arrived. I was barely trying to wake up as I did not go to the door right away. It’s ok he started doing his services and spraying down the house. I came out after ten minutes to walk my dog in the backyard. He notices me and he greeted me. He stated he was done and proceeded to ask me if there is anything else Id like for him to do. I told him the garage needs to be sprayed. He literally walked in and sprayed within less than a minute. More or less ONE SECOND. Overall, his total time period spraying was no more than 10 minutes or less. I do not understand how you can do an efficient job when I have a huge back yard granted spraying doesn’t take long but it definitely takes longer than ten minutes. As I watched him spray the garage I’m not sure if all he did was just spray the air versus the cracks that need to be sprayed as that are where bugs normally come through. Horrible work ethic

I called last week complaining of continuing ant problems. After a very long wait on hold, I was told someone would call back within an hour. I never heard back from anyone. Then on Monday afternoon the aptive tech showed up completely unannounced to treat our home. I asked if she had come in response to my call, but she didn’t know anything about it. She proceeded to spray the perimeter. I asked if she was going to provide the ground barrier treatment we were promised in the sales pitch when we signed up with aptive, and when they came out for our first treatment. She said no, she was out. (Can we get that please? There hasn’t been a day since the first treatment that we haven’t seen ants in the house. ) The Tech also said there were wasp nests but she couldn’t reach them but we noticed they would have been easily accessible from the stairs leading to the garage. So far we feel like we’ve been sold a bill of goods and we would like better service. Please send someone else out, we’d like the ground barrier treatment, the wasp nests removed and no more ants in the house. Thanks, Marianne Schneeman (not amazed yet!)

Your man fails to put much effort into really coating my home. This is his second visit. The first he only did my kitchen. The second he missed half the items it says he treated on the list you sent. He seems in a hurry to leave. He missed 2 bedrooms a bathroom, baseboards, windows, door jambs, electrical outlets. He asks me what I want done. I want the whole house done like I paid for??

At that point I had been on hold on the phone for over 20 minutes. I do think your technicians really know what they are doing and can explain it well.

I was disappointed with today. I was supposed to get interior and exterior service. I received the standard call 30 minutes prior to his arrival with him telling me his equipment broke and he couldn’t do the inside. He had known about the equipment failure from “3 houses prior”. I decided to have the exterior done anyway. When he showed he knocked, as he said he would, but had no mask on. Currently in Harris County, we are Threat Level 1. He did not perform the normal duties I have seen other technicians do in the past. All I saw him do was brush down the back eaves of my home and spray the back part of my foundation. My house has 4 sides....what about those?! He also didn’t throw the granular material on the lawn, which has been in the past. Then he was gone. No notification he was done, nothing. No opportunity for me to ask questions about what he had accomplished. I was extremely annoyed at this entire experience. I called customer service and got another session scheduled for 3 July to redo the service. I do not want this technician to service my home ever again.

A door to door man came to our door. He was pleasant. We decided to give them a try. The man took a blank check. We never signed anything. They sent emails for us to pay. We ignored the email because we gave them a check for auto withdrawal.. Finally they withdrew the first payment of $59. Then sent a letter saying our account is on hold for non-payment. I have been trying to call for two weeks. Never can I reach anyone. Extremely poor customer service. I would not do this again. I will now put stop payment on my checking account. Please try to call this company before you sign up. You may never get anyone.

A pest control salesman came to my home on 06/25/2020 around 2pm. I live in the Westchester area in Grand Prairie, Texas. He banged on my door twice. I have a ring doorbell and multiple NO SOLICITOR signs in plain view. I'm not sure why he came to my door and why he chose to bang on my door rather than ring my doorbell. Maybe because he knew I wouldn't come to the door. When I did come to my door, I did not open it. I asked if I could help him, through my closed door. He spoke about the pest control etc. I couldn't really hear him because my dogs were barking. I asked him to repeat what he needed. Once I realized he was a solicitor I told him no thank you and I'm not interested. He continued to talk through my door. I told him that I have multiple no soliciting signs and that I wasn't interested. He told me that my signs meant nothing. At that time he was still standing on my porch arguing with me through my door. He would not leave. So I open my door and cursed at him to make him leave. He then told me that I needed to learn respect. So I closed my door but realized that I needed his business information so I could complain. When I walked towards him he began to state that he felt threatened and for me not to come near him. He began to record me on his phone. He did not seem to feel threatened when he was on my porch arguing with me and refused to leave. I was able to see his information on his badge. I went back into my home to complain. When my husband got home shortly after, I told him what happened. The rude salesman was still in our neighborhood so my husband went to speak with him to ask what happened. He started to call for the police. My neighbor is a police officer. So he ran to the police officer and begin to insinuate that I was threatening him and he had done nothing wrong. The police officer just talked to both of us. This situation escalated because of this racist and rude salesman's tactics. He was angry that I would not open my front door to talk to him about bug spray.

Not happy, i got in a one year contract. When it ended i canceled because it was not that great. My plan was for inside and outside they have only been inside my house one time(before covid). Then on 06/23/2020 a tech shows up and i told him through my ring that i had canceled the service since April, so he leaves. The next day 6/24/20 another tech shows up and does his job. First of none of these technician called me about heading to my property, no one in the office didn't even contact me to schedule the day with me. Very unprofessional when my job also involves me doing this so there is no excuse. Im very upset with all of this. I was lied to when i first jumped to this contract by the door to door rep, they over charged me on the first visit, tech came out and didn't even do his job so they had to resend another tech to finish his job, not worth it. The only thing i liked was the lady i spoke with on the phone, very nice.

An Aptive sales representative, named Dax, was going door to door on our street in Finneytown just now, not at all being mindful to maintain social distance and with NO MASK, in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic. My father is elderly and has health complications which put him in the highest risk category with this virus. Being elderly, his mental faculties are not always running at their highest capacity anymore, and he opened the door not thinking about the risk. The Aptive sales representative proceeded to deliver his sales pitch within just a couple feet of my father's face, again wearing no mask. I pulled my father inside the house once I saw what was happening and kindly asked the rep to leave. This rep is going door-to-door talking with potentially a hundred or so people a day, and if he's mask-less and refusing to maintain social distance, it's only a matter of time before he becomes a carrier and spreader of the virus even if he's asymptomatic. I only pray he's not already a carrier so that he didn't just pass it on to my father. It is absolutely unconscionable and immoral that Aptive is sending sales reps out there to go door-to-door WITHOUT masks for their own and their potential customers' protection. This is a RECKLESS company and their careless door-to-door sales practices are a dangerous hazard to public health.

Aptive Environmental has horrible customer service. They signed me up with all the pie in the sky promises and then failed on their first treatment. They did not treat all the items i was told they would do and the service tech said that she does not do those things. IT WAS ON THE SERVICE ORDER!! I called and spoke with aptive customer service and told them about this. I asked for a supervisor to call and discuss with me, which i was told would be done. DID NOT HAPPEN. I called again after a few weeks and got passed around to a few different people and then got disconnected. NO RETURN CALL. I tried the on line chat system........Was told that I would be contacted. I told this chat person that I did not want a service person to show up until I spoke with someone as well as I did not want my bank charged until this was resolved. I was told that these things would not happen. The very next day the service person showed up at the house to treat again. I told her to go away and not to charge my account. I then recieved an email saying that i had a new appointment for today...........I replied to the email stating once again that no treatment should be done until I have spoken with a supervisor. They are scared to contact me because of their screw up. I would not recommend this company to someone I didn’t like. Jeff Walbeck

The first treatment was only yesterday and we have never had a serious bug problem only a few small ants and since the rain a roach or two. But I'm hoping those will all be gone in a day or two. The young lady was very professional and very nice, was very thorough. I'm pleased so far.

I was out of town but there are 4 things of concerns - The tech never came into the house to spray. I was told that the fee was going to be $99 per visit I have bugs flying around my house I've never seen before I was told this is a quarterly visit. I believe you were here last month Please contact me ASAP to discuss. I tried calling Customer Service yesterday but had to hang up after being on hold for over 40 minutes.

Your actual service guys have all been GREAT! Unfortunately your customer service via phone is terrible. It took me six different days, on hold for as long as 42 minutes at a time, to finally get a person to talk to. I was so angry I wanted to cancel. So of course I was transferred to a different dept, and my call was disconnected. By then I was furious. Since cockroaches have appeared inside my house, and my quarterly service is already paid through August, I wanted service right away. Thank you for sending your guy yesterday. He was super nice. Now I want to cancel my service. I need a company that has enough manpower to answer their phones.
