I had a Heart Attack and took a cut in pay which landed me behind in several bills. Synchrony bank hired Tenaglia and Hunt to take me to court. They asked why I fell behind I told them I had a heart attack and that did not help the situation at all. They still didn't want to work with me. Stay away from this bank. Also their late fee is the same as their monthly payment. This bank practices in predatory lending.

Set up auto pay with them. Wasnt notified that it didnt go. got a late notice and statement after the 30 day late.. I was out of the country. Called them right away as I had never been late on my credit and they confirmed it wasnt reported. When i paid to be up to date, 2 days later i got notification that it was marked late and sent to the creditors. Although it was their system that didnt function for auto pay and I had never been late before and their recorded rep had told me it wasnt

I have (or had) two accounts through synchrony bank. Both accounts with pretty high limits. The account through LL Flooring was just closed. Synchrony bank closed it. For the reasons of I had too many revolving accounts, with balances they are too high. I never had one late payment and spent thousands on flooring. I just recently paid off the remaining balance. I have a higher credit score now than I did then. I’ve never had a creditor close an account. Also, each credit reporting agency has been frozen approximately two months ago, so I don’t know how they could even get any credit information. I’m just stunned. I will never do business with them again. Do not use this company.

I wouldn’t even write this bank number 1. We finance through JCPenney every month. We were making a payment on time every time we had a balance with a good adequate credit line, but because the credit score dropped a little bit. This bank took the credit back they issued back even though they got a payment every time on time I highly recommend that you never use this bank I am warning anybody reading this, not to finance through this bank if you get credit, or have credit the minute you fall behind her your credit score goes down they take away the credit they issue . It’s a guarantee that we will not pay the balance off.

I don't think I've ever encountered a company so consistently bad in every single aspect. It would take too long to get into specifics because of how many different instances there are. To summarize, their customer service is horrendous, the website has never worked properly, and I even have to use a different browser to get into my account, their website will not allow me to manage my account without going through another step that doesn't even work. Their website is an absolute joke. Also, someone put my middle name down as my last name in their system, so it took several minutes to get access to my account when I finally spoke to someone on the phone, and they still kept using it as my last name after I corrected them. They then told me that I had to submit some form and provide proof of my identity because of someone else's stupid mistake. Their automated phone system is also a nightmare, and wasn't able to assist me with my issue no matter how pushy it was to get me to use it and not speak to an actual person. However, when I finally got through to a person, I honestly couldn't say which was more useless. I am only using this bank to pay off furniture, but if I ever finance furniture again and the company tells me they use Synchrony, that company will immediately lose my business. Yes, that was the summarized version of my overwhelmingly negative experiences with this horrible company.

I would not prefer this bank to Noone. My reason for opening and account with Synchrony wad to establish good credit or to help my credit. I paid off a Rooms to Go account and a Ashley furniture account on time never late, even doubled up on payments just for them to close both these accounts. I asked why they just closed on me and not give me more credit and not consider my payment history. They stated because there are too many things listed on my credit report. I told them those things were there when you approved me in the beginning. Why was I even approved. I only got these account to build my credit and show credit worthiness in hopes of them extending more credit instead they close both accounts. I wish I never dealt with this bank

Zero stars. Even though my Synchrony account was on auto pay, and they do show receiving payments from me every month (early!), I was getting calls and texts from them saying I was over due. They even added late fees on to my account and reported me as late to the credit bureau, which caused my credit score to decline. After several conversations with people there who couldn’t explain why this was happening, I just paid off the balance in full so that my score wouldn’t be affected again. What a joke. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. At least they reversed the late fees, but my credit score is still adversely affected.

if I could rate them ZERO stars, I would. I previously had a TJX Mastercard for many years through Synchrony Bank but because of an issue that I had with them I closed the account several years ago. Because I shop in Marshalls and TJX companies quite a bit, I let myself be talked into applying again at visit to Marshalls in the last few months. However, once again, I couldn't log into my online account, then when calling customer service I was met with total ineptness, and when I asked to speak with the account manager (Josie #2893), all she could do was keep apologizing for customer service that she supposedly "could not" provide. I can't imagine why TJX Companies does not find a more customer oriented bank to provide their credit services. I'll still shop at TJX Co's but will use my airline credit card which provides benefits equal to or better than the Synchrony Bank, and DOES provide customer service when needed. Fool me once, shame on you Synchrony, fool me twice.....well I guess the second credit card with this horrible institution means shame of me for thinking things may have changed over the several years between the two credit cards

I use them for alot of accounts and they seam great in those accounts, Yet I have a B&H camera account that they decided to stop working with I guess . I purchased a few used low end cameras and some equipment . All the sudden the card was closed and not usable , That is when I was hit with 3 and 4 hundred dollar interest fees several months in a row puttung me over limits and doubling what I owed in a few short months ! It gas now been years ,I have made several phone calls to try and fix ,settle and some how stop this exasperation and strong arm act yet there only answer is to pay them way over the original purchase price and years of charge to stop the nightmares. 12 other accounts with them GREAT! THIS ON ACCOUNT AND THERE ACTION , I have decided to finish paying off all the others account i have with them in good standing then never use them again . Hope it is worth it sad!

Anyone who is considering a credit card through Synchrony Bank, strongly recommend to reconsider. They isse cards affiliated with Lowes, Belks, Sam's, Care credit to name a few. After getting issued two cards through Walgreens and Sam's Club, I found out this Bank thinks its okay to rerun your credit without your permission and lower or raise your credit as they feel. My result dropped my credit score for adding extra inquiries and lowered my credit making my credit percentage higher on overall credit also making my score drop. I have had these cards almost a year, NEVER HAVE I EVER MISSED OR BEING LATE ON A PAYMENT. I have been a perfect consumer. Less than 175.00 balance on both cards and never been to the top end of credit limit. BBB reports they are not accredited and over 2900 complaints of the same action as I am stating. I think all these companies should select a new bank to handle their card services.

Synchrony Bank closed my Care Credit MC, Lowe's, Living Spaces and Amazon accounts without notice and for no good reason. One account had been in service for over a decade and had real sentimental value. It was for my first dog and I had been using that card for each subsequent pup in my family. It hurt they closed that account so callously. I had $0 balances for 3 cards and paid off my Amazon card monthly. My only mistake is that I decided to trust such an unsavory financial corporation. Their practices are legal and hidden in their terms and agreement. I will never conduct business with them ever again. It is a shame they are the ones who operate Amazon's credit cards. Hopefully Amazon will rethink their relationship with a bank that cares very little for its customer. You should avoid doing business with Synchrony Bank unless absolutely necessary.

AVOID SYNCHRONY BANK AT ALL COST. They will be a negagtive on your credit score in the future. I had to two funiture store cards with ZERO balances, never missed a payment period. Synchrony Bank closed both cards without formal notice which impacted my FICO score negatively. Now, they have been systematically lower my Lowes CC keeping my balance at high utilazation rates which in turn has a negative affect on my personal FICO score also. Seems this banks AI or analytics are against a consumer even if you payoff cards or pay down cards more than what is owed each moth. Either way Synchrony Bank IS NOT A LENDER OR BANK YOU DEAL WITH AVOID AT ALL COST IT WILL HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON YOUR FICO SCORE. The customer service is a joke. The CS staff reads off a set menu. If Syncchrony Bank is this nervuos about the personal borrowers they lend too then Synchrony Bank should find another income stream and get out of retail credit card lending period.

Exceptionally poor customer service. Long waits for phone. Online chat often has no agents available. Online portal won't allow viewing of statements. If you do get a statement, the break down is confusing and often incorrect. Does not show all open accounts, transactions, promotions, or why you owe what they say you owe. Terms are always non-negotiable. Unwilling to work with customer for any reason no matter what the customer's circumstance. Cold and callous towards customers on calls. Does not send important account notifications. Will not leave voicemails if they even do call the customer. Does not care about you, just your money. Lobbied enough influence in Washington to get lending laws passed so that they legally don't have to care about helping you. How convenient for them. Don't depend on them to keep you informed about when and how much to pay them. It all falls on your shoulders regardless of what's happening in your life. After all, you signed the contract?

Agreement to pay 12 mos no interest on $23000.00 major Dental surgery I paid as required amount due monthly on time. Synchrony Bank consistently added interest frequently to this no interest transaction. I've had several conversations with them. They remove it and put it back. Block. Deny any interaction to stop it. Beware. Not a honest. reputable Compsnyyou have lots of better options Pick another Bank or you may wish you had listened to me The interest they tried to stick me with was 27,% compounded daily. Fortunately. I was able to pay in full what I actually owed, no interest. Peace. I'LL NEVER TRUST OR BANK WITH SYCHRONY AGAIN. Capital One and Discover on line Banking banking & Credit Card are reasonable & fair... they don't lie or cheat. I'm not compensated for this review. I wish someone had told me. One year been back & forth with SYNCHRONY BANK. Peace praise God. He loosened the shackles. I have a permanent ZERO balance with SYNCHRONY BANK FOREVER.

You will.need a back up plan. I tried to pay for a trip that I booked with say same credit card the previous year. The payment was rejected. I called and was given steps to help that were ineffective. The link to identify myself didn't work. Why did I even need this when I verified the purchase by checking yes to the charge request via email and text. I never was able to make the purchase and my identity is still in limbo. I stood in the store that authorized me to get the card and I still had no luck. Horrible customer service from the manager trained to help, but didn't or couldn't. Poor !

In November 2021, I financed furniture through Synchrony bank (bank chosen by furniture store) with a 0% interest loan expiring in May 2023. I set up recurring payments every month. I unfortunately ignored monthly statements from Synchrony as I presumed it was just useless data. I never received ANY emails or texts. My bank was apparently late on funding Synchrony several times and I unknowingly incurred late fees. After my final payment in April 2023, I kept on getting monthly statements, which I finally opened in June. This showed $300 in late fees and $1100 in back interest to day 1 in 2021. I called immediately, escalated to an account manager and she denied waiving any fees, even though I dutifully paid every month and my financed loan was $0 by the time the promotion expired. Now I owe $1400 from an original $2900 purchase - which I PAID! Since I called about my account I have been getting emails and texts almost every day explaining my outstanding balance. Even after explaining I was not some deadbeat person not paying their bills, they refused to be human and do anything. Shame on me for not checking my mail. Shame on Synchrony for their behavior, unwillingness to be reasonable and treating me like a deadbeat. I see now how they made $3 BILLION in profits last year.

It is time for Synchrony Bank to be held accountable for their disingenuous and dastardly behavior. They used Sam's Club to have their reps walk around and hound you to sign up for credit, then they approve you for $5,000.00, then despite the fact that you're a 15-20 year Sam's Club member, and you shop there for your business, and you pay all of your bills on time...as soon as you reach even less than 50% of your available balance, they "chop off your available balance to less than $100, showing that NOW you have used 90% of your available balance. This is not right, and they must be held accountable. I DID NOT NEED THAT #@&$ CARD!!!! I. AM. SO. ANGRY. 🤬🔥🤬🔥🤬🔥

I have a Lowes Advantage card through Synchrony bank and it is absolutely the worst. I started with a limit of $1300 and when I only used half of it they lowered my limit to only $70 over what I had charged which severely decreased my credit score in one month! At the time I was trying to refinance my mortgage and because of this my credit score fell to the point that I was no longer above a 630 and could not refinance my home. I requested a reason why this happened and the reason I was given was I was not utilizing my credit enough. So I paid down the card to about a $200 and used it for a couple of paint supplies just to ensure I was utilizing the card. I then received another notice a couple of credit card statements later stating my limit was being lowered yet again and this time they lowered it to $300 which was only a few dollars above the balance, so my credit score was dropped AGAIN. I requested that they increase my limit as I would not be able to use the card to finance any large projects, I was asked a few questions over the phone to find out if I could be approved for a credit limit increase to at least $500, and I was denied, mind you my salary more than covers my expenses and I pay my bills on time! I hate this bank. I currently have a balance on the card of $58 I bet you they lower my limit to $100 just because they can. They are the worst!

Do not use this company. I had a Lowes Advantage card for years, which is backed by Synchrony Bank. Recently I had my entire HVAC replaced by Martin-Jetco. They had advertised 18 months interest free financing. This financing was also backed by Synchrony Bank. While obtaining financing the HVAC was installed, because how could I not get denied financing with my high credit score. Well Synchrony would not communicate with me and when I was able to speak with someone, they wouldn't tell anything other than if I have any questions to call them back. REALLY! You won't answer my questions when I call, so why should I call in the future. Regardless, I was denied because even though I already do business with them they stated they couldn't identify me well enough to extend me credit. And it took them over a month to explain that one sentence to me and they still couldn't explain how they came to that decision. The lesson learned is, if any company uses Synchrony Bank you need to explore other options.

I have had several cards for synchrony bank. I enrolled ALL my cards in auto pay so the payments would be paid on the due date. Their Auto pay apparently was not working right with not one but all of my cards! I would immediately call in and make a debit card payment and the payment would go thru. I called so many times telling them it’s making look like a bad liability because my payments aren’t going thru auto pay correctly , I asked them to please make sure it’s noted. Nope, don’t believe customer service, they do not help you and they don’t care. 2 cards had 4000.00 limits they dropped them down to 200.00! The cards are garbage now. I called to dispute it but they wouldn’t raise my limits back up. Said lack of Real Estate, my house is paid off! Stay FAR AWAY from ANY synchronicity credit because they will screw your credit up that you have worked very hard on. I’m done with them. Never again. I also want to note that my husband is having the same exact problem with Autopay.

Synchrony Bank is a scam. Stay away. Avoid at all costs. Purchased a treadmill through a promotional offer with Synchrony Bank. That was the only purchase I made on the card, and I cut up the card and threw it out. All was good until final payment. Upon final payment, I found three fraudulent charges. Spent over an hour on hold and talking to three different people to report the fraudulent charges. Was assured I owed nothing. Requested the account be closed. Weeks later, I received a replacement card and a statement showing the charges I didn't make and a $30 late fee on top of that. I've been holding and talking with representations for now over 1 hour and 2 minutes. They advised I have to dispute the charges again. This is insanity and a total waste of my time. Worst decision ever.

I have had a VERY unpleasant experience with Synchrony bank in trying to get the proceeds of a maturing CD deposited into my bank account on record. When I called to give instructions, they attempted to text me a link to verify my account, despite the fact that I had provided all verification answers including my account number, SSN, secret question and the account number of my bank account to receive the funds. Repeated texts did not go through to my phone. After numerous instances of misinformation from CS reps, I finally got them to send me an email and was then told by their computer system that my account was locked. They claimed twice that they sent a letter with a verification passcode that was verifiably false. With the clock ticking on an automatic rollover of the CD, I believe I finally got them to mail me the verification letter yesterday and I may get my $73K out of their bank. To make matters worse, when I tried to go online to deal with this at the beginning of the process, it wouldn't let me login due to an outdated phone number in their files. When entering the new cell number for texted verification, as instructed, it would not accept the number and send a verification. When I updated the number by phone, they told me it would take 30+ days for the website to be updated. In addition, customer service reps gave me innaccurate repeatedly and two CS supervisors either refused to respond or lied to me about sending mailed passcode verification. I have two more CDs with this bank and when they mature I will NEVER bank with Synchrony again.

My first experience with Synchrony was when a TJ Maxx employee fraudulently opened a credit card account in my name. Then, with JC Penney. I opened my JC Penney account forty years ago. In May 2003, I bought a duvet through JC Penney, though Amazon had better options. Then I received a delinquent notice for non-payment of a $75 JC Penney invoice from Synchrony bank. Apparently signed up for digital only notifications. Never received a digital invoice. That's that. Here's the thing. My investment company, Vanguard, has Synchrony on their "trusted" list of banks providing 5.10% + CDs. Do you think that I would trust Synchrony with a $250k CD, when they can't even handle a $75 duvet cover purchase. Hell no.

If I could give them zero stars I would absolutely do it!!! Please don't waist your time!! They don't care for there customers!! I got off work on the 4th of May at 3pm by time I made it home and was settled in to pay some bills Synchrony was the first one to make a payment.. I login the app "That I was told to use to make payments". It was at the time after 5pm. The app indicated I had to wait for business hours to make a payment. So I waited till the 5th the next morning to make a payment. It went through and I went along with my day and time off. Today May 9th I went to check my bank account and it showed I had 2 transactions from Synchrony. I called and was told they would refund me the amount but it would be a check in the mail. It could take 2 weeks for the to receive the check. I'm absolutely pissed and stated your company didn't take 2 weeks to take the moneyout of my account!! SO PUT IT BACK!!! Apologies!! Apologies!! Apologies!! All I don't care to hear!! Some people live pay check to pay check and can't afford to wait 2 weeks!! I hope and pray yall screw the right motherfucker with good money and yall lose everything!!! ABSOLUTELY SICKENINGLY!

I wish I had read the fine print prior to getting this card. Synchrony bank along with a few others are not worth the money one pays them monthly. First, they decreased my credit limit and sent a letter stating that months after. I contacted them and asked and the customer service staff was rude in explaining that I had not been making payments on time. That was a lie. So come in 2023 they closed my account. Now I am paying them off in a few months and will say good riddance! When applying for credit, read the fine print and make sure one stays clear of this bank. They are terrible! Please read the fine print. I am waiting for a class action lawsuit against these clowns!

To put it politely, the Mafia uses less aggressive tactics to fleece money from people. The credit card consistently "creates" new charges on a monthly basis that I have to spend hours fighting to remove. I've been successful in removing the charges, but why does Synchrony continually create "deferred interest" or "net interest" charges? The answer is simple: most people don't view their statement, so the charges stick. Furthermore, the website is primitive and difficult to navigate; for example, I can't view any statements online because "I didn't sign up for e-statements" . . . huh? I can't end the autopay option on my account . . . why - no answer from customer service! The list goes on and on . . . DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE!

If we could give a zero/no-star rating, we would. At the very least, when you speak to a human, they are nice people & sincerely seem to want to help, not that anything ever gets resolved. Outside of that, not so much. We have many credit cards that converted over to Synchrony some time ago. Online access to those accounts has been nothing less than a nightmare, each & every month. We have to struggle to login, use the USELESS live chat, call-in for support &/or change our password nearly every time we attempt access each month on every account. A complete cluster! The latest? On two of our open & active accounts (same creditor), Synchrony has replaced all e-statements with disclosures & can’t seem to explain why or where the statements are now located. So now we have no way of viewing or downloading the actual e-statements (which, by the way, were all present & accounted for last month!). Synchrony Bank is completely irresponsible & should be taken down by a firing squad!

I had a really good relationship with synchrony bank. I have three different credit cards with high credit limits had them for years never been late we went and bought two new trucks for our business and of course, with interest rates as high as they are these days I shopped with multiple banks to get the best rate on both trucks after doing that on every single credit card synchrony Didn’t even send me an email I went to use my cards and they all got declined called synchrony and they lowered my credit limit one card 7800 to 280 second card $9000 to 230 and third card $10,000 to 3250 which Only reason they lowered it to that was because I had a that as a balance for a 0% for 12 months offer. When I called to ask what happened they told me due to my credit report, not having a real estate account which my house is paid for and multiple inquiries. They classify me as a high risk even though I’ve been with them for years none of my payments are late and my credit score is in the upper 700s One of the worst banks I’ve ever had will never do business with them again.

Lack of communication his correct. I was informed to use my debit card online to pay my bill, only to receive a noticed days later the payment did not go through. Thinking it was an error on my side all payments were made again only to have the same outcome. After speaking to a customer rep for the 3rd time was I only able to get the information that you can only use a debit card via phone, not online. Online you have to enter the actual checking account. Closed all accounts even though all accounts are paid in full or up to date due to the multiple payments not going through. All because their communication was inaccurate. No I am not even able to go online to pay other than a guest as they closed the accounts which closes the online registration. Have to make payments as a guest. Synchrony is fortunate they partner with these companies as stand alone they are terrible.

This Bank has good rates most of the time. However this all negated by their inabilit to communicate with customers efficiently and accurately! They have secure email, BUT they will not address ANY request you make via this SECURE email. They are not a brick and mortar bank where I can go down and talk to rep and when I try and call them on 1-800 line as they want you to, I find that I have to wait minimum of 15 minutes or so to even get someone to talk to you!! I cannot be on the phone this long to make minor requests that SHOULD BE EASILY HANDLED via "Secure" email!! Tried them twice and this was the case in both instanced, even BEFORE the Pandemic!! Will not utilize their services again!

I was a loyal customer of synchrony for years with several credit cards until I made one honest mistake of deciding to start online paying of my Lowe's card. I had my card years never abused my spending and always made payments on time no matter what. If i made a purchase I would pay it off on time or even before the month was out sometime! I decided to start making my payments online doing so I accidentally left out a single digit in my checking account number and didn't realize it and then made a payment and it caused a non-sufficient payment on my account. When I was notified by mail I called Synchrony and went over my account to find out why after years why did they decide to close my account. I spoke it over with the representative and they explained to me that was the reason.. I found it to be very hurtful because I pay my bills as I should and on time. I'm writing this review so that synchrony bank can see that the issue with my account was an honest mistake and not on purpose and for other people to know please be careful when setting up information online to double check before submitting a payment because you will be in the situation I am. No one is perfect and I hope synchrony will understand that my mistake was an honest one! I still have a balance on the card and plan to make the payments on time as I always have. Sincerely, Beverly Chavous

I took out the CareCredit / Synchrony Bank card to pay for expensive dental work and have also used it for veterinary services. I like the way the Promotional Payments can be deferred without interest which has been helpful being on a fixed income. Now the frustrating.... I had three Promotional Purchases coming due in the first 3 months of this year. I made 2 calls to Synchrony Bank (being on hold for minutes and minutes each time) to confirm the amounts of each Promotional Purchase coming due and the exact pay-off amount each. I took money from my 401-K to pay out ALL of the promotional purchases coming due, and made a lump sum payment for over $2K in a phone conversation where I specified the amount for each pay-off. Each was paid in full with no interest! It was confirmed by the representative I spoke with. Or so I thought! The next month when I went on-line to check my account, several of the Promotional Purchases showed balances, so I immediately called SB. After a LONG hold, I got a girl who was really hard to hear and who didn't seem to know what I was talking about. After going over it with her for several minutes with no understanding, I asked for her supervisor and went over it AGAIN. After another LONG wait the manager came back and agreed that the money I paid had not been allocated correctly and interest had been wrongly charged to my account. She insisted it was straightened out, apologized and informed me it could take 1 - 2 billing cycles for the corrected amount to show up. Really? Shouldn't a correction be made immediately? Fast forward to the following month - upon checking the on-line account, my balance for one of the Promotional Purchases had been moved to inactive, BUT instead of being paid off, it showed over $300 still due. So another phone call to CUSTOMER SERVICE? - another LONG wait, another lady with a timid voice who said it was the interest due for the remaining balance. She proceeded to explain how much the interest was, and I kept saying it was paid off several months prior to the due date - there was no remaining balance. Finally she said she would have to speak to her manager - WAIT, she came back, said WAIT while she got the answer...WAIT. I asked if I could just talk to the manager myself. She ignored that and said WAIT. Finally she came back and said that he "was able to remove the accrued interest" (which I said never should have been there in the first place). She again said her manager was able to fix it. I got her name, his name and a confirmation that it would be corrected within 48 hours. While I was on hold - again and again, I went to the best company website to see if anyone else had issues - thank goodness, it isn't just me!! I thought maybe I was jinxed. My husband keeps saying "get rid of that card, they are incompetent" but I keep holding out because we just don't have the money up front to pay for dental work or vet bills. I keep expecting better accounting and customer service. But, I'm about done with the time and frustration. I feel like I have to check every month to see if it's been corrected and worry about their next mishandling of the account.

Some of the largest bills are medical bills especially dental bills. I got a care credit card via synchrony Bank and because I was new to it I was given a balance 1500 to use. However an emergency came up which prove to exceed the 1500 amount so I requested a increase on my balance. My reply from synchrony was to the tune of: I haven't demonstrated the ability to use the amount given to me and no increase would be given. I explained everything in my explanation box but was denied the increase. Well now I get upset as to how I'm going to pay this so fortunately the dentist broke up the payment. Yes the bank doesn't know me but I'm sure there's a lot of people they don't know that they've increased their dental card for. They need to change their credit card to 'Don't Care' as opposed to Care credit. Oh and Jess is a side note, in reviewing your complaints, do you really send out false statements to your customers?

I have multiple account with Synchrony Bank, one with a balance of $11,000 and the others with no balance and one with a balance of $2000 on a promotional zero percent deal. I have never made a late payment, have my credit increased on all cards and never had my credit limit lowered like the other comments I have read. I called Synchrony Bank and asked to have my interest rate on my Mastercard with the high balance lowered and they refused. My credit score is over 800 and my debt to income is at %27. I simply applied for a Citi Diamond Preferred card and transferred my balance. Synchrony Bank is not customer friendly, they do not care if they keep there customers and by the comments I read, they prey on the vulnerable. I am done with Synchrony as soon as my promotional balance is paid off.

We have several loans through Synchrony Bank. Windows at our rental and our new furnace and A/C at our new home. Super easy to set up payments and customer service always helpful and courteous.

Paid an overcharge immediatly. Family Tragedy. These computer controlled puppets will not restore credit limit for 3 weeks. Your eBay "Mastercard" are done. Closing account, waiting for the snail trail website.

Open my Sams Club account with them in June and still having issues even opening the account. Third card sent out to activate is on the way and still haven't been able to use my card. Seems like they don't want my money.

Synchronicity bank and finance made fraudulent transactions with little to no explanation for this. Synchronicity continued to take payments after account was closed. I will never use Synchronicity in the future and not recommend this company for anyone to use! Thanks for nothing

I only borrowed 700 dollars for a vet bill. It's a hustle. Sent in small payments for 5 months with a 0 percent promo for the first year. They all went towards 45 late fees .. they charge from the day you use credit card. So I was always close to 15 days late. Closed my account and payed them off

Very poor customer service!!! The bank lowered my credit limit from $6000 to $250 after I paid off my balance with on-time payments. Customer service didn't have the intention to help me at all and was very disrespectful. Bad company, bad bank, bad service!!!

I could go into the whole story, but just beware as they are not reputable, even if you have it in writing. They will run you around and waste your time. Then you will still have the 29% interest rate after signing up for a promotional interest free time period.

Horrible bank! They lowered my Lowe’s credit limit called for an explanation. They stated I had too many credit cards and no real estate. I have never been late and never over limit. Not sure what real estate has to do with a credit card. Closed all my accounts with them. Avoid them.

Customer service stinks. I actually have two cards with them, but would not do that ever again. All they want is money. I was supposed to get some rewards for a purchase but never received them and by time I called and asked they said it was past time to use them and there was nothing they could do. That was $160 out the window. Terrible.

This company is absolutely horrible with communication. After the amount of money I have spent with this card, they cancelled my card for non use without notice, devastating my credit score. There are too many other options, advise you to get a different financing company

Not Happy with this bank, I got a Sam’s master card through synchrony about six months ago. Since I’ve noticed they take several days to post payments charging extra interest. Their customer service is horrible

If I could give half a star I would. After having to deal with their automated system because they had ALL of my information incorrect so I couldn't access my account... I vow to NEVER use this bank or its services again. Never have I had such an issue or the amount of frustration this has caused. One word: TERRIBLE.

Terrible in this day and age what lender doesn’t have a grace period! But you set the payment dates for your customers! They are aweful and not considerate at all. I am currently trying my best to close my account and never look back.

Synchrony bank credit cards routinely cancel credit cards and lower credit limits even if you pay you bills and are never late or over your credit limit. By doing this it lowers your credit score which allows them to charge you higher interest if you want to get your limit raised again. Crooked business practice.
