Erin the supervisor is more than a direct asset to OneGuard as a business. It’s not often you find such caring, knowledgeable and compassionate people like her working for a challenging business with customers around the world. She has done the upmost for myself and my family. I’m so thankful for her as part of your team when things become misunderstood with customer service. The customer service department is very difficult to talk with regard to service request due to language barriers and understanding of services needed. This creates a major gap within the company unfortunately

My communications with Ms. Jennifer B is the SOLE reason for the above 5-star rating! After multiple phone calls and emails, including via the BBB website - She was the first LISTENING ear and voice that finally reminded me of the OneGuard I've been with for the past 10 years! I was considering leaving OneGuard and actually felt as if OneGuard was leaving me first, but not only did she take ownership for OneGuard, but she made me feel as if my household situation mattered! I was concerned when first buying home leaving a landlord, but then connected with OneGuard-Peace. Well OneGuard, with customer service like THAT, you can't get rid of me so easily! Thanks Jennifer!

OneGuard is outstanding in its commitment to its clients regarding coverage and customer service. Their entire staff are professional, friendly, caring and go above and beyond to listen to their clients needs and concerns. Additionally and more importantly they make it right when errors are made by their Vendors (Service Company such as overpricing, erroneous diagnosis of breakdowns. One such example was recently when two AC companies misdiagnosed the AC issues at my properties. I asked for a call back from a manager at OG on June 5 th . I will take this opportunity to commend, Niquan W for her call and patience in listening to me vent for half an hour as I was extremely irate, disappointed and frustrated. She took ownership of the problems, committed to following my cases and sent me her contact information. She sent another vendor for a 2 nd opinion who repaired the AC, made the right recommendations and resolved the issues. Employees are the greatest asset to a company as they are the face of the company. Niquan W is a tremendous asset to OneGuard and I’m confident they are aware of it. I have been a loyal customer of OG for four years because they uphold their service and coverage commitment to their customers.

Excellent value for the money. One Guard only deals with reputable service companies, so the techs who arrive are polite, well trained, and professional. So far I've had my A/C serviced, the heater serviced, and my refrigerator ice maker is working again once I called One Guard. I've just renewed with them again through Michelle H. She provided excellent customer advice and I even earned a discount. She was informative, intelligent, advised me on the services I had previously, and made the renewal process a very easy one for me. Best of all, with One Guard and Michelle helping me, I don't have any worries about my house!

We asked to have the house rekeyed after we bought our new house. For some reason there was a disconnect between the company and One Guard. After a month of waiting, I contacted One Guard and they were on it immediately. They contacted the company and the house was rekeyed the same day. Unfortunately, they did not reset the garage door opener or key pad. The key company said it was not part of the rekeying that is covered. I thought it was since it was stated that it was on our email.

When I request service they have always been polite, the appt set up quickly. the service guy arrives on time- if not I receive a call, they know what they are doing, and before it they are done.O f course I have had a very few frogs as well.I also chat a little and often ask how they like One Guard mostly they are happy.

If there was a 4.5 I would have selected that, because I actually I thought of leaving One Guard, but lately, ( I don't know if they have changed management or philosophy but my last experiences with One Guard have been excellent from customer service to the service providers. So I'll keep my contract for at least 1 more year, possibly longer if they continue to provide this kind of service.

I have had the opportunity to use OneGuard for almost 2 years now. They are, by far, the best in class when it comes to warranty companies. When there was a question/issue with my account, Christopher S was quick to address the minor issue and get everything right. Their online technologies make it easy to do a service request, and to remind you of your coverages. I have even taken advantage of their additional services at nominal cost (e.g. garage remotes and house re-keying)! I will always have a OneGuard warranty for my home!

We've been with them for a number of years and luckily never had a claim. Recently our garage spring broke and we didn't realize that was covered. We had a repair company come out and also our garage door opener had issues. So we call One Guard and they sent out repair guy. We found out after the fact that the springs were in fact covered. We contacted One Guard and requested and refund. We were very pleased and surprised that they graciously refunded us our out of pocket money.

No thirty day waiting period for call outs, after you start your coverage. Don't like having to wait several days for an HVAC technician to come investigate my HVAC issue and repair it. I understand One Guard is at the mercy of whatever company they contract with for the repairs, it is still very frustrating. One Guard customer service is always very good and they really try to get your service scheduled as quickly as possible.

OneGuard has been great to work with. I had 2 different experiences the first time was my furnace not delivering hot air properly. I was able to go online and request service and pay my service fee with no problem and the contractor took care of the problem. Recently, my hose bib on my house was leaking about the same time my garbage disposal decided to die called in request service paid only one service fee and job done. What an outstanding company no taking me through any problems. I enjoy working with OneGuard!

Follow up needs improvement- I recently put in a service request to have my microwave looked. A service technician came out and looked at the microwave and determined that the microwave need a part in order to fix and left. However, that same afternoon another service provider called to schedule an appointment to come out to take a look at the microwave. It would have been nice get a call or email from Oneguard to let us know that the first service provider couldn’t fix the microwave and a second one would be coming. The little things. By the way the second service provider did fix the microwave.

OneGuard has been there for us for 14 months and counting! They always answer the call 24/7 with a friendly voice. We have several issues with our home that we didn’t really expect they have saved us $3,000 already! When we first moved in they saved us so much time and stress by finding and often contacting all the vendors we needed to set up the home. It was awesome. We will be with them for quite sometime.

As my house has gotten older, it became necessary to hire various contractors to fix things that were breaking down from normal wear and tear. A friend told me about OneGuard Home Warranty and she was very happy with the service they provided. At first I was skeptical but I soon learned that it was worth spending the money. Do I wish the annual/monthly fee was cheaper? Of course, but when you compare it to the insurance premiums paid for house and car, I at least feel I am getting my money's worth because I pay one flat rate to the contractors instead of getting charged by the hour. Additionally, their customer service is great. Whenever I have a question about my policy, the customer service personnel are helpful.

Oven quit 3 weeks before Thanksgiving. It took a couple of days for the contractor to call me and then a week before they came out (not OneGuard's fault). But, after the contractor came out and diagnosed the concern, Angela called me to tell me I was getting a new oven. The contractor told me it would just be a replacement part. Well, according to Angela the replacement part was only $100 less than a total replacement. Because of Angela, our Thanksgiving is saved.

IT HAS SAVED ME MANY TIMES.Years ago when all of the other home warranty companies would come in to Ken Meade realty offices wanting to get our agent's to promote their home warranty I would give them the Service One and or One Guard brochure and say if you can match this brochure I will consider using you. They all said we can't do it the way they do and stay on business.Long story but is true.

The overall experience was a bit frustrating earlier on. Communication was difficult and inconsistent, and nobody seemed to know what was going on. This review would have probably been a 1 star before I was finally transferred to Niquan W. Niquan was an absolute godsend! She listened, she communicated throughly, and I never had a doubt that she was working to find a resolution to the case. She's the type of person that every employer is longing to find, and she 100% deserves a raise and/or promotion. I'm so grateful for all her help!

I have been a customer for 13 years. Service used to be 5 star. Prompt responses great communication and quick resolve. Now the communication is terrible and my latest experiences have resulted in 3 different second opinions. This last one takes the cake. Pool pump died. Fist company said it was an act of god. Second opinion said otherwise only nobody from OneGuard bothered to reach out and tell me anything. I still have not received a call or an offer to upgrade my pump. When I called I was told it was in authorizations and someone would be calling me from there. Next thing I know the serviceman was scheduling to come out and replace the pump with still no communication from OneGuard. He even put in a request stating my desire to upgrade and he hasn't received a response either.

On Guard has been my home warranty provider since 1997 when they they were Service One. Because if the prompt professional attention we get with One Guard, I have never considered any other company. I always recommend One Guard to friends who are shopping for a home warranty company.

OneGuard processed our claim quickly but the claims person was rude to my wife and myself on four separate occasions. We asked for an itemized invoice for our out of pocket cost, he didn't seem please that he had to go through the extra work to email us the invoice. His attitude towards us was very poor when we had phone conversations about the process and updates. Service and install was completed in 21 days which seems reasonable. Our experience might have been better if we would have had a different claims agent. TLC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning did a great job.

It would be five star but last two years hot water heater problems, one guard stated they would not authorize repair or replacement due to it was heating water, that want the problem color of water was brown at times and not heating hot finally last year it had to be replaced it stop working and began leaking, however excellent service on air conditioner fan was replaced within 24 hours before it totally broke down in 115 plus degree weather

During a warranty claim, they set me up quick with a contractor to fix my issue, however it was a bad contractor. I went around 3 days without hot water only to have the contractor cancel and try to reschedule. I don’t think this is one guards fault, but maybe they should look for the fastest available contractors for their customers. I called when the first contractor canceled and they set me up with someone who was out and next day and fixed my issue easily.

This is my first experience with a home warranty company, so I'm not sure if this is true of all home warranty companies. When I wrote a Google review about this experience, I received a computer generated response, like a digital shoulder shrug from the company. I'm really disappointed in how pool equipment is worded for coverage. Especially for a new pool owner who called for service for a leak in what appears to be the primary plumbing of the pool. Apparently even though it appears to be the primary loop of plumbing, the part wasn't covered, leaving me having to pay the service fee to have the contracted company tell me it's not a covered part. I was able to fix the part myself for less than the service charge from OneGuard. Maybe in this advanced digital age, a photo of the failing part could've bee submitted, and informed the part wasn't covered, and avoid this whole experience? I now feel apprehensive calling to use the home warranty especially if it involves pool parts, or items in the home I'm not 100% sure are covered. I also feel the need to keep the policy strictly for the coverage of aging items in the home, A/C. The representative on the phone was nice, and I don't hold them responsible as they are just following policy.
