I have been a very happy customer of OneGuard for several years now. I have had other home warranty companies with other homes in the past, but i like OneGuard best. That being said, one individual really stands out to me. One time, last year, I was not happy with a decision on an issue and it got escalated Tricia D. She was very professional and courteous and continued to return my communications for several weeks. Even though that item did not go in my favor, i kept Tricia's info handy. Recently, on another item, i reached out to her directly. Again, she was awesome. She has been really prompt with responses and has really gone above and beyond. I cannot provide enough compliments to describe her customer interaction with me. She is the type of employee that makes a difference!! Thank you so much, Tricia, for being amazing!!!

I've been dealing with OneGuard re replacing a defunct dishwasher. Had to call their fulfillment center with a few quires & reached a Tina L.. In dealing with her, I found her to be very professional, very courteous, very knowledgeable & just wonderful to speak too. She's a very upbeat person! Her answers where clear & to the point. She explained the replacement process & urged me to please call them IF there are ANY issues what so ever w/the unit installed. She also stated they'd love a follow up after the installation of the unit. Also like to add, I asked to leave Tina, this review & rating. She made my Monday. Although, Tina is not the only one I'd rave about, everyone; so far, in the fulfillment center have been helpful. But Tina L., is the best company rep I've run into in a very long time. Thanks to Tina, I've peace of mind knowing that everything is on track & being handled to the best of OneGuard's ability. Big thank you to Tina L., your the BEST!!

I was referred to OneGuard from our realtor and being new to the state I wasn't sure which companies are leading in home warranty. I compared OG with two others and OG had the best coverage and pricing. They also had only few hundred complaints on BBB v. 25k for one other carrier. As far as Melinda who was a total sweetheart on the phone, helped us choose the best coverage plan for our needs. She was extremely responsive and took the time to answer all our questions. She was always following up to see if we received her quotes and was so pleasant to speak to. I would highly recommend OneGuard for coverage and pricing and if you need to speak to a rep, definitely Melinda G!

I actually had a very difficult time getting a resolution of my work request order. It just so happened that both the contractor and Samantha G, the One Guard Rep, called in at the same time. So I did a conference call. Then it got settled. Not to my satisfaction because of the contractor, not One Guard. It's all because of Samantha's dedication to her outstanding customer service. Little by little, One Guard has been stepping up it's customer service. And now Samantha has out done herself. I greatly appreciate it. She didn't know that I'm a Multi-Million Dollar Real Estate Producer here in Las Vegas. I will be sending all my new customers to One Guard for their new home warranty.

I opted for OneGuard coverage when my old policy expired and wanted to much $$$ to renew. OneGuard had a 'service' option which covered major areas like AC/heater, plumbing, electric and my THWH. I added the pool equipment coverage. I as able to pay my fee monthly and the service fee was lower than most. The second vendor I was sent for my AC was the 2nd most important reason I renewed with One Guard (after their reasonable cost/service fee for the coverage I needed). Scott P assisted me in my renewal and answered all my questions to decide what to keep and if I needed to add any additional coverage for the following year. PS: OneGuard also covered me with individual cooling fans when the first vendor they referred me to for my A/C would not schedule me for 5 days citing a weekend and holiday (despite having 24/7 on all their online platforms). I am convinced OneGuard is customer oriented and offers the best choices in coverage to meet your needs.

If you are considering a home warranty company…OneGuard Home Warranty is the way to go. Our experience with OneGuard has been wonderful. The company is not only responsive, they’re trustworthy. They actually take your call and resolve your problem (not a call center person with scripted lines). Supervisor Star P was outstanding. She was extremely professional and went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of from start to finish. First class support! FYI. We had been paying premiums with another service (American Home Shield) for years, only to have the most frustrating, negative experience when we actually submitted a claim. I cannot stress enough how strongly I recommend that you avoid this company. Do some research…the negative reviews are not outliers…they’re accurate. They’re really bad. OneGuard is the way to go!

We have been happy customers for over a dozen years and with multiple properties. I can say that One Guard is seriously one of the only companies we deal with that gets better over time. Case in point, Faith B is a wonderful example of customer care at its very finest. Her follow-up, patience, understanding, listening, and handling of a situation was absolutely incredible. When dealing with home issues, having a kind and caring person to work with makes ALL the difference in these situations and for that we are so grateful for people like Faith! Have to say that truly, the people at One Guard are what keep us so loyal to this company!

I called to ask some clarification questions about our experience and relationship with OneGuard and had the pleasure of speaking with Chris S! He happily addressed all of my questions and even explained to me how my system worked and what was covered by adding the additional coverage packages for my AC unit! He was very insightful and understanding of my perspective and offered some great advice with regards to moving forward with our warranty. He concluded by outlining the benefits of pursuing a 24mo agreement, rather than a 12mo, and even though we declined his offer (and went with the 12mo contract), it was helpful to know we have options! OK, so… several things went wrong with my service request and, realistically, I would have given OneGuard somewhere around 3 stars. I had a couple different people I spoke with give me misleading info and promise things seemingly to placate me without any noticeable follow-through. Admittedly, some of this was tricky on a holiday weekend, so maybe bump it up to a 3.5-star review. However, at some point, I was transferred to Niquan W, who went so above and beyond that she brought the score up to a 5-star review. She honestly took a personal interest and did a bunch of extra work on my behalf sorting out a particularly… uh, “plumbing-related…” situation that was truly awful. So, I’m still pretty annoyed with how some of this went down. But this was by far the most help I’ve ever gotten from a disembodied voice on a phone in my life. I thought I could think of another, but it turns out I’m just tired and was remembering that one scene from The Matrix. She deserves both a raise and promotion — and probably some home-made cookies, but I’m not much of a baker. Seriously, whatever she’s being paid isn’t nearly enough. Anyway, I’m gonna get some sleep since, thanks to Niquan, I actually can.

I’m repeating this survey well because the previous one I was disconnected before I could mention your excellent phone customer service person Toni!! Wow! Today has been a difficult one for me and well, Your company sent the company “Call us plumbing” and Andrew(the plumber) did and outstanding job , I thanked you in the survey but in this survey I wanted to Thank your CS person Toni. She was amazingly caring and professional and just a Lifesaver today. I was in a deep depression and it bursts sometimes worst than other times and today I sank deep, very deep, and as I sat in my car (repeatedly saying I hate MY Life, Your employee TONI calls me back from a disconnected call we had earlier. I know she couldn’t tell but her great attitude and cheerful CARE that threw with her voice over the phone line, Well, to say the least made ALL the difference for MY Life, for MY TODAY. I have had to use OneGuard on several occasions over the last year and received excellent service each time. The various service contractors they used were usually prompt, courteous, and professional. After considering several other companies when my renewal came up I decided to renew with OneGuard after speaking with Ms. Cynthia Freeman their Homeowner Sales Advisor. Ms. Freeman was friendly and informative and helped walk me through determining the best policy for my needs. She was a big influence for my renewal! If I had one suggestion it would be to improve their phone system so prompts could be cut short.

First time home owner here in Arizona and have only been in the home for about 8 months but have used OneGuard for multiple things such as a repair of our built-in microwave and an HVAC tune-up before the summer hit. Very easy to request a service through them and I had no issues. Today, I renewed my plan for another year. I had plenty of questions for Paul Coya, the Homeowner Sales Advisor with OneGuard. Paul was incredibly nice, answered all of my questions with ease (there were plenty of questions) and it was clear that he was there to ensure I got everything I wanted into our renewal plan. OneGuard has been an excellent home warranty company. They are timely in their response and easy to get a hold of when need be. All of the companies that they contract with have been more than capable in handling the task at hand. The only instance in which I was frustrated was when my AC went out in Arizona summer and the first HVAC company that they had scheduled me for was more than a week out for their appointment. However, I reached out to OneGuard again and they were able to find another HVAC that could come sooner. I was pleased that they rectified it so quickly, but it was frustrating in the moment. Paul Coya has also been very helpful in the renewal process. He kindly explained everything and told me clearly that there were certain parts of my plan that I did not need to pay for and was able to bring my cost of renewal down. I was very pleased to have worked with him.

I'm in the middle of 2 work requests right now, but my most recent call to One Guard probably helped save my sanity and well being. I called in Wednesday about a 14yr+ original fridge that has been repaired twice (3/2017 & 1/2021) and keeps freezing up the coils, resulting in loss of cooling to the fridge. The got me scheduled for a Friday repair. Very next day, the AC goes out, with before bedtime temperatures in the house at 95 degrees. When the ac company called me on Thursday to schedule the appointment, they said the earliest available was Wednesday. I have a fridge out that is being repaired Friday, with an AC out that won't be repaired until Wednesday of the following week. I called back this morning (Friday) to discuss the fridges repair while the house is 95 degrees. For a fridge that isn't cooling, I thought that was a concern. Liz C put me on a hold and started reaching out to their AC contractors. When she came back on the call, she said she was able to get a company to service me tomorrow. Really wasn't sure what I was going to do there for a bit and how much it was going to cost me to stay away from the house for about 5 days...pending AC repair time. Even though this is still "ongoing", Liz really helped out this family going through a rough year. Most ever service claims in 14 years already in 2021. Nice to know One Guard will keep things running for us. All those years I've thought about cancelling the home warranty...sure glad I didn't. Looking forward to riding out this Phoenix heatwave with working AC again. 95 inside, 117 outside...HELP!

Cynthia F made it wonderful! I had called the scheduling line about an open service call and was put on hold twice for 16 minutes each time and then disconnected. I tried again and was put on hold. The final time, Cynthia greeted me, and I explained how frustrated and disappointed I was with my previous experience, and that I was not planning on renewing my contract with Oneguard. Cynthia was sympathetic to my situation and offered to help right away, even though it wasn’t her area. She made sure to address all of my concerns, and offered a followup call with additional info I needed. Due to her great customer service, Oneguard kept a customer, and I will call her in August to renew my policy. It’s nice to know that someone still cares about customer experience!

Today 4/9/21 I called to renew my contract and I spoke with Keanna C., she went above and beyond to answer all the questions I had to make sure that when we ended our call that I was satisfied. She was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very happy aand satisfied at the end of the call. This is why I chose OneGuard for my home warranty. OneGuard has always put me as a customer first. They have always sent out techs that were friendly and who knew what they were doing and I didn't need to have them come out a second time to fix the same thing again and make a complaint. OneGuard has excellent customer service. Every time I have called they have always been courteous. I feel OneGuard has the best plans for the price and this is why is stay with them, why my realtor suggested them and why I always tell my friends and family about them.

So far the Customer Support team has been helpful. The contractor has returned today to try to fix my dryer back to its original condition. It still seems as if these contractors are "winging" it as they go...trying this, trying that. But, that is not the Customer Support teams fault. Yesterday, Ms. Cynthia F. was so kind as to help me even though she is in the Sales department. She took the time to listen to my frustration...and offer to assist me by directly contacting someone in the appropriate department. Additionally, Ms. F. was kind enough to follow up with me this morning. One Guard is fortunate to have a kind, considerate and professional person, like Ms. F., on their team.

In addition to that, we have also changed providers on occasion to the company that OneGuard sends to our house for repair. For example, we changed pool companies as we were so impressed with the one that OneGuard sent when we had pool equipment issues. Also, their customer service is excellent and always professional and courteous. Kenneth C. just provided me with excellent service! Highly recommend OneGuard if you are in the market for a home warranty.

I have been a One Guard customer for over 8 years. I have not always been happy with the non-coverage of certain problems/issues when I've used their services. However, to be fair, I would have known the issue was not covered if I had read the terms of the contract carefully. Overall, they have come through for me when I've needed it. In one of two work requests I have in process at present, they went to bat for me when I ended up at odds with a recalcitrant contractor and reassigned the case to another at no additional cost to me. I give One Guard five stars for having the foresight to hire persons like Jessica C. who doggedly pursued the case until its reassignment. But that's not all! She actually called me several times to check on whether or not I had been contacted by the contractor and any work they might have done. (Did you actually get that? She called me! ...several times! I did not have to call and hold until served.) I have "friends" that would have cared less. One Guard is fortunate to have such an ombudsperson in their employ. She brings the company much credit.

Ms. Cynthia was PHENOMENAL! If we were face to face I'd hug here at a Social Distance! The reason we left One Guard is because of the Customer Service and EXTREME long holds to place a claim for a service call was no less than 3 hours and the longest I've been on hold for 4.5 hours..just to talk to someone! She made our transition back so very easy and unnerving. She was super patient and understanding! She made me feel like we were childhood friends. I'm a Escalations Supervisor at a bank and I would love to have her on my team! Marcus J. went above and beyond his responsibilities to do everything humanly possible to help resolve my problem of having had gas fumes in my home for over two weeks and being unable to find anyone to take responsibility for the problems that I was having in getting a correct diagnosis and a rapid solution to the problem. I have asked other OneGuard employees to help me as well as the vendor representatives in addition to calling the gas company to come to our home. But the problem of smelling fumes from the vents continued and I have been sick with nausea and headaches for over two weeks, and I've been extremely worried about my husband who has a serious heart condition being in the home. I won't review all the details of what Marcus did today, but I hope that he is recognized and rewarded for his outstanding service today through contacting a manager at the vending company to get an explanation for the continued fumes and to arrange a solution. I can't put into words my gratitude since I have been very concerned about leaking gas in our home, and we have been through a lot in the past week since the winter storm hit in TX and my family has had extended periods of time without power, heat, gas, water, and the loss of some appliances. I thank God for OneGuard and for Marcus being there for our family during this challenging time in our state and for us personally. Thank you, and God bless you all!

I'm 2.5 months into my home warranty with OneGuard. To give an overview, creating cases and getting them handled is very quick. There are a few idiosyncrasies to what they cover you should be familiar with, but nothing too drastic. My only complaint is actually with some of their partner vendors. They often 'coach' saying "this isn't covered" and will bill you for things outside the warranty that are rightfully there, so keep an eye on it. (This is more a reflection of the partners, than OneGuard though.) I had an instance I was upset about the vendor and the next time I talked to OneGuard I mentioned it and they immediately refunded me. It was amazing. There was also, recently, a dryer dispute where the dryer failed and OneGuard wasn't going to cover it because it was a known manufacturer defect. I asked it be escalated and then it sat stale for two weeks. I called again, obviously disgruntled over the process, and Joanna Brooks took it on. Seriously awesome service, she listened to my complaint, we reviewed the contract together and she agreed with my interpretation and expectation. She escalated and got it covered entirely. I can't say enough good things about her. So far, the experience has been great and I'll plan to update over the next few months as I have no doubt more things will go wrong in this house.

The first time I called today I asked the girl if she could get someone out today because we were smelling smoke and very concerned. She said she couldn't put a rush on the work order and that if I hadn't heard from the contractor by noon, I should call him. She put me on hold until she found a contractor that could come out today and he did and all is well now. Great job to a great employee, Joanne Kempton. She should get a raise. Honesty and Integrity are important to me and I have found that with this warranty company. In 2020 I downgraded my plan to the System Guard. I had an issue with my Dishwasher I knew would not be covered by the warranty, however I called to inquire about businesses they could recommend to use and was able to connect with a business that fixed my dishwasher and was great in their service. In renewing my policy for 2021 I spoke with Alexander J, he was courtesy, efficient, and helpful in renewing my policy. I also appreciated the discount for this next year and the ability to pay for the policy in 3 payments versus yearly or monthly.

My experience with home warranty companies has been a mixed bag. The OneGuard home warranty that the seller of the home I just bought provided for us has been a real eye-opener. I've had to make three claims so far, and I've been consistently pleased with the service. They don't scrape the bottom of the barrel for contractors, a problem I've run into before: both contractors they've sent have been excellent. In fact I'd honestly say that both (Lorne at Loe's Appliance and Justin at Collins Commercial Services) exceeded my expectations. Heidi Smith at OneGuard has been outstanding at responding to questions, communicating clearly, and following up on requests; again, much better than I'm used to with so many "service" companies. In a couple of cases, my problem couldn't be resolved due to things like lack of parts for an outdated unit so they offered money in lieu of repair. So far, I'd say their offers have been quite reasonable; I haven't felt at all like I was being taken advantage of. Their website is well constructed and laid out, easy to follow, and it actually works; this is the cleanest claim process I've ever used. So overall, yes, if a warranty makes sense for you I don't see how you could go wrong with these folks.

I have had One Guard for a few years was grandfathered in from Allied Home Warranty. Prior to Allied I had other home warranties. I can say without a doubt that One Guard is the best! Their website is clear and user friendly, you can submit service requests and pay online. They are very prompt in dispatching service requests and keep you updated via text on the vendor. Vendors they use are very good best I’ve had with a home warranty. Customer service is great, staff are friendly and professional - I’d like to give a shout out to Paul C who assisted me recently he was very professional and super friendly! OneGuard Home Warranties is literally the best. I have had them for just over 4 years since i purchased my first home. Time after time they have saved me from the middle of summer when my AC was out to when my refrigerator went down last year resulting in a replacement. Their service contractors are friendly and quick. When I call to place a work order they ask questions to ensure they are sending the proper contractor. They also allow me to request contractors, which i do often especially the ones that i have had out before! The customer service reps are always friendly and super efficient always confirm who they are speaking with. I truly feel that they have my best interest in mind!

For this call they failed. As well as the plumbing company. We put in an emergency call for a back up and I did NOT receive service in a timely manner AND I was still charged for their ineptness. I am extremely disappointed that it took nearly 24 hours to get a plumbing issue resolved. We could not shower, flush, do laundry or wash dishes. I had to miss a day from work to accommodate the plumbing company. I do not believe that I should have been charged AT ALL for this call since it was an EMERGENCY and I got ZERO response from One Guard and the plumbing company.

Recent experience, issue was not corrected, I contacted OneGuard to let them know we still had the noice in our master bath exhaust fan, reply from customer service was we don't cover noises. She took my information and told me they would get back to me in 24-48 hours. Never heard back from them. When the repair company was here to make the original repair he said if the noise returns let us know the service call was under warranty and the issue is with the motor in the fan.

Work that was done on my pool pump prior to me purchasing my home and ended up not being covered. I had a AC issue on a Friday and they couldn't get anyone out till Monday when it's 107 degrees outside and 90 in my house. I asked to be able to use my own tech and they said no and refused to let me talk to a manager. After the repair I had done outside of warranty I was told a manager would call to see if they can do any type of reimburse credit since I paid outside the warranty and was told someone would call me Monday by end of day well tomorrow is Friday and still no call.

I was very disappointed when I called for help last time because you raised your prices up to $75 per request for help. I think we all pay you enough up front for this insurance. Those of us on Social Security may have to choose to pay that $75 or buy groceries. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The HVAC repairs was very well done . The plumbing call to repair a toilet that shakes was ignored. The contractor says that the toilet would only be covered if it breaks. I am waiting for my service fee to be refunded.

I realize that your company exists to make a profit. What aggravates me is the fact that I pay you $70 monthly for "peace of mind", $80 for any service call, whatever the going price is for refrigerant which is needed every year in a unit that is 18 years old" I mean you could replace this ac equipment in it's entirety and still be way ahead monetarily" Have a nice day

I have had numerous plumbers in my home to fix a toilet in the master bed. There were several concerns one of which was the dripping water in the tank, which was impacting my water bill, which went from $50 to $159 year/year. Each plumbing company fixed one thing or another, but never one the major issue. There have been far too many calls for the plumbers to diagnose and fix. Finally the problem was fixed 3/18/22. Poor selection of plumbing contracts on the part of OneGuard.
