Agree with previous, they don't deserve one star! Horrible customer service. They put you on hold constantly to wear you down. Filed claim in early December for a GE Monogram cooktop. Had to settle for a GE Profile non-induction cooktop on Feb. 3rd. Still haven't received a cooktop!

Negative 50 Stars!! Words can't describe the offensive practices of this company! Going on 8 weeks to get my refrigerator fixed/replaced and I am nowhere closer. I have cancelled my warranty and ended up purchasing a new one since I was getting nowhere.

This is the worst company to work with! I would give then negative stars if I could. Their customer service reps do not know the answers, they are rude and when you ask for a supervisor they do not exist! They refuse to transfer you! Stay away from the company at all cost!

It has been over 3 months since a file a claim for my microwave oven. They keep giving excuses, no supervisor to report to, no cooperate office to report to. They are a scam. They are not equip to do business in the United States. They need to be investigated.

Anyone purchasing a Home Warranty SAVE YOUR MONEY - particularly from these scam artists. $500 for the warranty and $100 a repair - so far I'm out $700 and ultimately had to pay for my own a/c replacement becaues they refused to honor the warranty - this was only after 1 month of home purchase. I called with a plumbing issue-toilet backing up in my home. The earliest a vendor can come out is in 1 week! There are a million people in Tulsa and there is one plumber. I feel like these people just steal your money and do not provide a service. I will never, ever buy a policy when purchasing a new home.

Sorry I had to give you even 1 star. Worst Company ever. Filed my first claim with my water heater and went 6 weeks without hot water before finally got ahold of corporate and they took care of it. Now dealing with overheating hot tub and its been 5 weeks and still no service provider! Customer service is the worst!! Buyer Beware :(

9/11/19 They finally returned my call after escalated via my realtor to a district manager, who by the way I was told was shocked as to how long we went without a refrigerator (now 37 days) today. I was offered a buyout and I accepted. Was half the price of my refrigerator but at least I finally got closure. Pretty sad. :o(

10 months of dealing with closed out claims by the company without even servicing them. Also very poor service to get heating and AC claim taken care off. They try to charge additionally for modifications that make no sense at all. It is very sad to see how bad tis company actually is.

Freezer not working. Service company to asses problem in 4 days. No go. Next company was actually an IT company???? Next company only had 2 employees and was no sure when they could come. At last, a good service company that could come right away. Did not call and did not show up? HWA APPEARS TO BE A SCAM TO ME????????? BUYER Beware.

These guys and their air and heat contractor ,"Forest" are scamming people. He comes and tells you the problem is one thing, then tells the warranty another that won't be covered, then Jack's up the repair cost to thousands. Takes the unit so you can't prove they were lying.

HWA is the worst company ever!! Don’t waste your money!! Had an issue with my water heater not working. After many calls they would not replace. Too many details!! Makes me mad ReMax that sold me my house would select this company knowing they have bad reputation!!! Save your money!!

Worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. I've been getting lied to and run around for 4 days just to get a compressor replaced on my A/C meanwhile I'm trying to sleep in an 85 degree house. For what I've paid them over the past 2 years I could have had it done in a day.

Too bad I found out about them after I had an emergency that they took about a week to get a service person to look into. The word "emergency" did not register with them. I ended up getting someone else to handle my problem. I agree there should be a class action against them.

Like everyone else, horrible customer service, they will do anything to make sure your issue is not covered under warranty, you cannot understand the person on the other line and the ones you do they are very rude and unprofessional.

Worst company to do business with. Took our many for over six months but once our ac unit broke they said they couldn’t prove it was working when we signed our contract. We ended up canceling with them. Never again and I would never recommend them to anyone

They want $100 service call every time you have a problem. If the problem is not fixed properly, they want another $100. I cancelled after 15 years over $100 because they wanted another $100 for a third visit to repair a dryer for the same problem.. They didn't even seem to care after 15 years. I moved on to a better company.

They offer you a great deal on home warranty with a seemingly great protection, but when comes time to make a claim, they always find a way to not pay or at least not pay for expensive repairs. I wasn't impressed.

This warranty company was selected by my realtor without my knowledge prior to closing on my home purchase. The ability of their customer service department to comprehend customer issues is horrible. I spoke to so many people who were illiterate and issued erroneous work orders. Getting ahold of a supervisor or manager was like pulling teeth. I had to cancel this warranty within a couple of months of actually having coverage. I wouldn't recommend this company at all.

The tech was great, but it seems like Home Warranty of America isn't at getting people out to the site. I live outside a large city and it seems like everybody in the large city gets home warranty coverage, but people that live 90 miles away are getting shoddy service. It took 3 weeks for them to send out a tech, which kind of was annoying when you have a leaky water situation.

THEY Did not do anything to get my garage door repaired. I ended up buying new and installing it myself . Nothing that $200, & 4 hours of my time couldn't fix. So they owe me $500.

I have to speak to multiple people in order to get a job done. My hot water was not working so I called, I reported the issue. It took about 48 hours for a company to pick up the service. The company did not come out, I called the company. I left a text message for the company. They did not respond so I called Home Warranty of America back and they reassigned the issue to another company. That new company did come out about a day and a half to two days later. Meanwhile, I'm without hot water for more than 7 days, more than 14 days actually. So right now I'm waiting for that company to come and make the repair. I'm in the process right now, waiting. I still don't have hot water.
