Choice Home Warranty has poor follow-through skills. They rarely return phone calls if at all. They also will give you instructions on how to take care of your repair through the reimbursement process however will refuse to reimburse you. Employees seem to read out of a book and are not able to freely speak or provide information.

Ususally Choice is good. However, I was approved to have my furnace fixed for $850.00. Then the cost was bumped up to $2000.00. When I called to get an explanation as to why it changed. No one would help me.

I tried to get 2 air conditioners with heat pumps that had quit and they were old units and Choice refused to pay for them, said it was corrosion. It was not covered by the policy and I didn't collect a nickel on it. Cost me $12,000 out of pocket.

Their contract fine print allows them to deny 4 out of 5 requests for repair. And they send terrible servicemen (most rated 1 star on any social media) for those they do approve. Further, they even lie about findings of repairmen.

They say they cover all systems, yet when I tried to file an electrical and a plumbing/sewer claim, all of it was "pre-existing condition," which is complete and total fraud. ALL things pre-exist. Insurance/warranty should cover when someone buys a new house and systems fail. I feel lied to by your sales guy.
