When the guys came over to do the repair, they were here the day after my call which is good, but they didn't come with an identification nor were they wearing a uniform. I wasn't going to let the man in if my son wasn't here with me. My washer did not spin the clothes, it didn't spin the correct way so I had to redo everything all over again but now I don't have that problem, it was fixed. The guys were good, they were good guys after letting them in here they spoke with my son and everything. The repairman did what they had to do and got out.

The the gentleman that came was very very pleasant. He did his exploratory diagnostic part of the plan very well and he said they'd let me know what was going on. The person now what I've been dealing with a very nice. I realize getting the repair part is likely part of the supply change issues, but I haven't heard any updates on anything on the two appliances that are still pending to repair. The timing number one when I first signed up over just about a year ago I asked to be given the information on how to to turn in a claim I got absolutely nothing It wasn't until we got close to the renewal time that I clicked on the thing to find out that the new rates would be and there was a little box that said claims so I hit on that and I explained what was going on and then within a short time I had a repairman come in to look at two Industry appliances that gone over the previous you know time and since then I I haven't had any response other than that first. I haven't they given any choices so want they said they would repair it they haven't and I've got a full year yes to have it repaired but I'd like it repaired before Christmas.

Exceptional service. They come true with what they say they'll do. My refrigerator ice tray broke and could not use it, would not function so they sent a repairman. It was a G.E. refrigerator and they replaced that component and I had no problems after that. They handled that first request well, the company they sent was exceptional.

Two months ago we had drain issue plumbing issue and It was backing up so we called another plumber he address it and payment was taken care of. Had to have the refrigerator fixed and they came one day and then they had to come back with the part and fixed it on another day. It only costs sixty five dollars to get it fixed. When I call and scheduled an appointment they come and fix it.

The most recent time I used my warranty was very painless and I got a quick response, however they have a track record of denying claims and making you write referrals. One time I need it and was denied and it took me weeks to get a hold of someone to appeal it and finally resolve it in my favor but on a couple occasions we've really had to fight to get in to pay anything.

I've had about five different issues that I've had and then when you send a message online they're very responsive. My washer broke, my dryer broke and my refrigerator broke so I called and got an appointment very quickly and there was a local person that they sent out and told me I had to get a new washer. I was able to get all that taken care of relatively quickly. Its nice that they have someone local and the person that came out was extremely nice, extremely helpful and got things taken care of really fast.

I've only use Home Warranty for a leak in my bathroom, the plumber came and get fixed everything was fine. He had to replaced the faucet itself and he did that. There were no problems. I've only use Choice Home Warranty that once and it was perfect.

My water heater of almost 38 years finally desired to die and not provide hot water as necessary. So Choice processed my claim in an as inhumane manner as possible and, without comment, approved my claim for a new water heater. But, in the meantime, the codes have changed. So, I was required to pay $700.00 to have my water heater replaced. That's not what I signed up for and certainly not what the salesman promised me. When I reread the contract fine print I found that the contract did, in fact, not cover some things. Why won't the sales folks go over this? I think that we all know the answer to this.

But a 78yr old Vietnam veteran and with a disabled bedridden With it has really caused financial problems. The company is top notch, but the policy needs to be scrutinized and understood completely. The "If can't fix will replace" can leave you deviated. To say the least!

Choice Home Warranty is responsive in getting a repair person out to do an initial assessment, but do not expect them to ever "replace" an appliance that cannot be repaired. Over the past year, I have had to replace a washer, a double oven, and a refrigerator. In each case, I tried several times to get the appliances repaired, but finally had no choice - for example, the repairman told me that there were no longer parts available for my Double oven and confirmed that it could not be repaired - and I asked Choice for a replacement. In each case, Choice asked the repair person to photograph any rust or other signs of wear on the appliance, and then refused to replace the appliance saying that the spot of rust was the cause of the problem (it was absolutely not in any of the three appliances), and then ruled that those appliances were not covered. I bought a five year police a couple of years ago, and am now stuck. I tried everything to get additional evaluations, send photos, and work with the company, but in each case, they refused to replace any of my appliances when they could not be repaired. In four months time, I spent over $4,900 on replacement appliances that all were supposed to be covered by Choice Home Warrantee. So discouraged.

Go through a realtor to get a warranty, they can get a better policy for you. I am a realtor and I can see all the different warranties that are out there. I think that Choice is the best one so I started it as a test. I’ve only had a couple of problems and they were handled quickly. Two years ago they replaced my air conditioning.

CHW replaced a hot water heater and installed an expansion tank on 10-06-21. I understand non-coverage of permits/fees, sheet rock repair, special modifications, disposal costs, and non-essential, upgrades, or luxury components to covered systems. However, I do not understand why expansion tanks for water heaters are not covered. It is illegal to install/replace a water heater without an expansion tank in the state of Arkansas, so why isn't that covered? I also have difficulty understanding how $816.00 was authorized for non-covered costs. All parts and labor for replacing the water heater is (or should be) covered. Parts and labor for installing a 2-gallon expansion tank costs no more than $325 ($255.00 for Choice's rate of 3 hours labor @$85.00 per hour, and $70.00 for the expansion tank and installation accessories. AR permits and fees are $45.00. A disposal fee is $65.00. If you then add the $65.00 copay, the total amounts to $500.00, which is significantly less than the $816.00 that CHW authorized for non-covered expense. In addition, the following non-covered expenses, much of which comprised this $816.00, were not needed, nor did the provider submit them in his repair diagnosis for this project: a drain pan, a pressure reducing valve, vent/flue modification, a valve upgrade, ceiling/wall modifications, and the only piping modification consisted of adding one 12-inch section of galvanized steel pipe. So help me understand the purpose of the remaining $316.00 in non-covered costs. I think that by anybody's standard, $816.00 for non-covered costs for this project is excessive! To the provider's credit, he worked with me on $216.00 of this excess cost, which is another indicator that the non-covered expense was excessive. And finally, as a housekeeping comment, I received 9 email messages that my equipment and parts had been ordered, all with different dates/times, but all were identical messages. Six of the nine email messages were transmitted after the project was completed.

I reached out to his home warranty and I scheduled another appointment to finish the one that was previously not completed when I reached out the operator assured me that it would be taking care of them that I would be hearing from the company soon well when I did hear from the company they had told me that they had canceled that order and that I would have to restart the process all over again that I wasn't happy with my understanding that any work done is guaranteed for 3 to 6 months far as I'm concerned the first is it from the company was not completed and I still have no light fixture in my bedroom which was one of the problems
