Last experience was a disaster. 2 weeks to find a plumber. Was given name of company and phone number. Number was for a private residence. Person at that number said he had not worked for the company for several years. We made appointment any way, he never shored. I had to hire my own plumber. Sent info about incident to CHOICE. They never responded. Would have had more success contacting ANGI.

Service of my washer was poor at best not the tech but all of the support for him and the lack of suport when I contacted Choice 5 times 3 of which I was promised call backs from managers who were BUSY at the moment(Sounded as if that was a script anser) No follow up once the call was completed. I was told if we CHOICe hace to send a second tech because sears has failed , the service fee would be WAIVED well really since I had already paid for a call why would I pay for a second call and nothing had been fixed.

I spent two months in the middle of Texas summer without air conditioning. Choice kept making excuses not to cover the unit for so long that I ended up replacing EVERYTHING on my own. Cost me a small fortune Very poor level of customer service. I was calling in almost every day to get the latest excuse. I will always believe that Choicc owes me a lot of money and an apology to me and my wife for living through 105 degrees every day without air conditioning. Impossible to reach supervisor also. I could go on and on about what Choice put me through, but I am trying to get over it

Every time I have a claim it takes about a month to get it fixed by the time you find a technician and they come to look at it and then have to come back because they don’t have the part needed with them. We are still waiting to get our dryer fixed because the technician hasn’t come back to fix it after they didn’t have the part. We had to pay to get our AC fixed last summer ourselves because we weren’t going without it for a month when it was 100 degrees outside.

Have had refrigerator part on back order since January. Furnace problem, repairman came took my $85 and I have not heard or seen him for repair. My garage door broke and I submitted repair request. They were never able to get me a repairman. I paid out of pocket for fix. Poor service. All repair people complain about them. Renew my contract with them? YOU CAN BE ASSURED NOT!!!!

They do a great job selling their warranty service and fail miserably at finding contractors and providing the necessary work approvals when the work is finally close to being completed. I have spent way too much time arguing with them about providing service. I would not recommend Choice and cannot wait until my contract expires so I can return to my previous warranty company.

We've had two claims in the last couple of years. The last one was great, but the one before that was, okay, but it wasn't what I expected. Our refrigerator went out and they came in and gave me a price for it. It was a $2,200 refrigerator. And they gave me a price of beginning like $900 to replace it. So I got them up to $1,100. And then I waited 30 days to get it because they don't just give you. They wait 30 days for some reason. I had another claim that was great. They came out here they fixed the problem. I paid my $65. Everything was great.

I had an appointment with Sears Home Services to install repair parts on my washer 2/19/24. On Feb 16 an email from Sears stated "Your repair parts have shipped to your service address and we're scheduled to complete your service on Feb 19". I waited all day. No word by email or otherwise for a technician to call. I called the phone number on the Sears email 4 times during the day and continually checked the Sears site which all showed that the install was still scheduled. Do something!

Not the best customer service. I had spent 3 $85 deductibles in a 45 day period on a dishwasher repair and still not completed. The review board said they will now give me $246 towards a new dishwasher. However, I spent $255 in deductibles. This should have been said from the 1st repair attempt. I told the review board to keep their $246, Service is more important than the money. I will be moving on from their future services.

One of the worst experiences I have had with this warranty company. Had an Vac issue, my 97 year old aunt living in a house heat not working. Choice was not able to get a technician for two weeks I had to get someone out there after two weeks pay out of pocket and now wait for Choice to reimburse me. On top of that I still have a plumbing claim going on a month now and Choice can’t seem to get anyone out there Still waiting on that. Not happy to have paid for the premium package 3 year plan. Will look elsewhere soon.

I have been with this company for years I have had some claim one for my AC another for my dryer machine this claims were Ok not really satisfied with the final results, but still ok, I Just had one for my washing machine and really disappointed they always want to replace they do not fix and want to offer almost nothing, $349 and I paid $75 of deductible, so at the end I am getting $274 so it will be more than impossible for me to renew.

The day I claimed my claim was 3 weeks ago. Today is 3 weeks, and still, they are just going back and forth between them and the technician who is supposed to fix the problem. There is a group that authorizes the technician to go ahead and fix the problem. That group doesn't authorize the work. The whole process is very bad. They are allocated technicians, but the technician doesn't have a permit to fix the problem. He has to do every step of the areas to get permission from them. To cut the hole in the wall, they get permission from them. How do you diagnose the problem? There's a leak behind the wall, you cut the hole in the wall to see the leak, right? They were, but they didn't have permission to cut it.

The first claim I had was a leaky pipe in 2023. I put a claim in, no vendor was assigned. Tried calling numerous times and the phone would eventually disconnect. Did receive responses via email. But was always you were looking for a vendor to assign it to. Ended up getting a response for me to find my own plumber and submit a claim. No thanks. Not going with Choice again.
