It's almost like not having any type of warranty since nothing seems to be covered. I had a pool issue and of course what my issue was, wasn't covered. I was also given back information by TWO and so my repair wasn't covered and my customer service rep was rude. Come renewal, I definitely will not be renewing.

I've been trying to contact a rep at Choice for 2 weeks now and all I can do is leave a call back number. I've left 4 call backs and not one has been returned. This is on an outstanding claim that is over 3 months old. I'm very unhappy with the service

Even though the technician sent by Choice stated that the issue with my dishwasher was due to normal wear and tear , and the policy states Al parts and components covered, Choice denied the claim. I appealed and the specialist denied again despite we provided the technician’s report specifying the fault was due to normal tear and wear.

Declined to repair AC unit. Said it was physically damaged which was not true. Canceled my service with them! If they can't replace or repair something as basic as this I don't need them. I would never recommend this company. If an appliance breaks down, they won't repair or replace it. They will extremely low ball a buyout for the appliance. If you call, you will be assigned a claim manager who will be extremely rude with you. It will take 30+ days for the buyout to be processed.

I have had the policy since 2021. I have made 2 claims and both have been denied for some stupid reason. I asked for a supervisor and the claims manager said there was no one above her and hung up on me because my 15 minutes were up. I know she has a boss. She is not the president of Choice warranty.

This company is a joke. The customer service lack of customer service knowledge is baffling. The turn around to get a response on the message portal is sad just like the reply that is never helpful. DO NOT pay ahead for a year to save, its a trap.

One of my service request was done by company, then I found out later it was not done correctly and instead of sending a technician out free of charge due to the contractor error, choice advised I would have to put in another service request and pay another service fee since it was beyond 30 days !!

Called twice for the same problem with the refrigerator in a three week period. Had the same company come to do the second repair. He said I had a 30 day warranty, but would not honor it as he came back to do the repairs after the 30 days. I do not want that company coming back to do any of my repairs.

I cancelled my Home Warranty program. My ac went out and the technician diagnosed it to be the fan motor on my air handler. Choice Home Warranty wanted to change out the whole air handler for a cost of over $4200 to me. I declined and would never recommend them for any project

They lie about coverages when you sign up. Then when you submit a claim they himhaw around from paying the claim paying only a portion or not covering at all when asked. But then they get attitude when you want your appliance replaced.

Listen to the reviews below. Stay away from this company. Worst ever. I had American home shield should have stuck with them. Latest issue of many the garage door spring broke, looked at the contract they literally dont cover anything if the garage door breaks except the motor. If you buy a high end whatever and they have to replace oh well you get the lowest end model of whatever you bought. And dont EVER let them tell you to coordinate your own service and they will repay you, because they wont. Doesnt matter what company you choose it is higher than what they would pay. They will make up whatever excuse not to pay your claim. Good luck in adjudication when they disapprove of your claim for whatever reason, one time didnt even get call back from person the other just say sorry we dont cover it oh well. JUST STAY AWAY!.

They do not replace your appliances with equal or greater value as they claim to, they cash it out at their cost which is about a third of what you can actually buy it for, which is also cheaper than their willing to pay to repair the item, they paid me $1100 to replace a $3600 refrigerator & now $400 to replace a $1500 freezer They have lawsuits in different states for fraud, I personally am filing complaints with the attorney general & the BBB DONT FALL FOR THEIR SALES PITCH they used to be really good I’ve had them for over 15 years but they said they changed a couple years ago, & they won’t tell you that, it’s in the fine print
