Choice Home Warranty is the cheapest but they are still prompt in getting back to you with companies who come out and do whatever you need done. Most of the companies are pretty good to work with and are prompt and courteous and know what they are talking about.

Any time I call and need something, they’re right on it. They take care of me. I had a garage door that broke some springs and the motor went out. They didn’t cover the springs but they do cover the motor and the track. I am happy knowing if something goes wrong in my home, they come almost immediately.

A friend had Choice Home Warranty and liked it and told me to get it. Each time I’ve called, they’ve sent somebody to fix the problem and I don’t have to pay a big repair bill, I just pay $45, other companies are $75 to $85. I thought the water heater should have been covered but it isn’t. I just told my other friend about it.

Over the years service has been improving. Initially it was okay but they have improved gradually and they keep me on a grandfather plan so the service fees are pretty nominal. I get appointments the very next day or two. I uses it almost once every year.

The only downside is the appeal process can be a bit of a mess but they cover a lot of things other home insurance companies do not. They are usually pretty clear about what is covered and what is not but they don’t always understand what they problem is so it the appeal process can be slow. They’re really good. I appreciate the things they do. I have three service men coming over tomorrow.

The service is completely inconsistent. It could be wonderful but it could be just awful too. Wr had an issue with our over and the technician was incredible, he knew what he was doing when he came in, left and ordered the parts and came back and installed and then was done. We has a problem with or toilet. He came said he needed different parts came back in a week and it still didn’t work and it has been three weeks and still is not done. We’ve had a number of propertied insured and there are confusions over where the services are needed. I don’t feel like I get a lot of feedback form them.

I was able to use it to get my stuff repaired and when there was a case they couldn’t repair it, they sent a check to partially cover replacing my appliance. When I call customer service, I am able to get my question answered and anything I needed completed within a reasonable time frame.

It’s a good company that provided a valuable service. It is cheaper than American Home Shield and my requests are responded to and generally accomplished with a short period of time. The policy penalized maintenance issues, and that is somewhat troublesome for me going forward because I wasn’t aware I had to keep p a manufacturer’s maintenance regiment for the services to be provided.

Technicians are very punctual and professional. Customer support is always available 24/7 either by phone or by internet. The technician even come out on Memorial Day which surprised me. He told me a needed a new water heater and it was approved in a week. I did have to pay extra three hundred dollars for it.

One time, last fall, I called and talked to a customer service representative. I scheduled the appointment and the third party that they used never showed. Choice never contacted me to let me know what was going on so I missed a birthday party of my cousin because I was waiting on the technician to come out and it was supposed to have been that particular week. I had to wait three days later for the technician to come out. The communication system has failed with Choice and the third party they were using. Choice never followed up to find out if the technician came out. All they did was leave a message and expected that whoever on the other hand got the message. So I'm very dissatisfied with the service.

The last time I used it, the guy from Chesterfield came out and took care of it. They had their mask on, everything was efficient because we were under the coronavirus pandemic. My most recent experience, I called in the claim and it was sent over from Choice to a local carrier. The local vendor manager would not come out or service any and Choice just put me in the middle and nobody would come help me. It took me about ten calls and they did end up paying me butwas pretty tough to get anyone. Choice is blaming the vendor. Again, they ended up paying me, but it took so many calls and nobody would respond to me and it took a lot of excalation and unnecessary conversations to do the right thing.

My microwave went out and they sent soembody out right away. Unfortunately they were not able to fix it or repair it because it was an older model but they did give me money that I agreed to. IT was not enough to buy a new one but it was more like less than half the price because of the age of the microwave which is pretty fair. They've always been timely, especially when I had two issues that happened during the COVID-19. They were prompt in finding me someone and the people came out to help me.

The service people that were sent out were good this year on the microwave and on another air conditioner repair. They fixed the issue that apparently last year's person just replaced freon a different air conditioner. This person found out it was a leaking valve which was a very cheap part but at least he got it fixed and put some more freon so that was good.

There have been a couple of mix ups but it has been pretty good. I needed to get my AC serviced and they sent some people to replace it and diagnose the issue. They fixed it. They were able to order the part and get it fixed. It took maybe 4 or 5 days. The only problem that I had was they didin;t want to provide a leak fix option for the air conditioner. When they fixed it, they did replace the part and charge it with freon so in that case there was a partial soution. They contracted with pretty good men and they're pretty quick and coordinated the service.

They are very quick to assign a service provider and that service provider within the next 8 to 12 hours contacts and sets up an appointment. We had a repair that was required. We contacted them on Sunday and then someone from the plubmer made an appointment and came in on Monday and took care of the leak. Quality and responsiveness.
