I had a previous provider told me that I had all kinds of things wrong with my air conditioning unit, but choice's technician came out and checked the unit and said there's nothing wrong with your unit. He was extremely honest.

I've used my warranty for my furnace, the company they sent out here was very good, but I've had some experiences that wasn't quite nice. They need to investigate the contractors that they send to your home first because they sent a company here that should never have been on the list. Communication between the vendors and Choice needs to be better.

My refrigerator, we noticed that the ice cream was starting to melt so I went online and logged in the problem and they responded right away. Someone was sent out to correct the problem. They respond quickly which is what's important. Most of the time the people that Choice contracts with do a good job.

I had a problem with my ice maker on my refrigerator. I called Choice home warranty, they had somebody come out. He told me that the ice maker wasn't working because my condenser was full of dirt and wasn't keeping the refrigerator cold enough. I said fine, so I didn't have him do anything, I just cleaned out the condenser. And that wasn't the problem, my ice maker still didn't work. So I called Choice home warranty back and they had the same guy come back out. But he never showed up. And I dealt with that for about 6 or 8 months and they finally put somebody else on it, but I was without an ice maker for about 6 months.

I did have to wait somewhere between 5 and 7 days for the appointment, but it was not an emergency, so that was okay. He was right on time, he was very pleasant, he did the job very quickly and it works perfectly.

I just used it last month for the garage door spring and everything went pretty good. They were very knowledgeable about the whole situation. They had contacted someone, they contacted me the next day, and within 2-3 days it was repaired. So I would say that was pretty good service.

Choice usually gets someone to call me back within 48 hours. Even when my stove went out when I was trying to make cookies for Christmas. Even with the holiday, they were able to get someone to come within 5 days. Unfortunately I did have to use Choice maybe 6 times, and all 6 times I never had a problem.

I believe it was last year, or the year before, we had a power surge and it fried my furnace and Choice referred me to a company here in town and he was able to come out that day actually to give me an estimate and then he came out the next day and replaced the furnace and Choice gave me credit for the furnace. And then this last month my dishwasher died on me, the drain pump had failed and they were not able to find a service person for me, so I had to find my own and I got reimbursed for that.

We are so happy with Choice Home Warranty Service. Plumbing issued on Master Bath Shower was completed to perfection and beyond. Our heating system was also repaired professionally. The service technician may not be the Big HVAC companies, same with Plumbing but who Choice contracts with is highly professional licensed technicians.

My previous experience was not good as I expected with a washer. They could not fix the washer, but I was given a coupon for Lowe's. But they came though. Overall with Choice Warranty, it's good. With vendor experience, it's not good. They need to be competent, they cannot troubleshoot the issue, they just blindly replace the parts.

One time I had issues with my fan in my bathroom. You guys did arrange for someone to come out. However, that electrician didn't resolve the issue, so you went ahead and sent somebody else out to double check, and it turns out that how it was operating was okay, it just wasn't up to the standard that we wanted it to be and they offered different ideas how to get it to where we wanted to be, so that was that was beneficial.

We had problems with out air conditioner, I had called a local provider to come out and fix it because I had 20 something people over here for a baby shower and we needed it fixed right away and Choice wouldn't pay for that because we didn't go through them first even though that was a provider. So I was kind of disappointed in that, but every time we've called ahead of time, they've taken care of it.

I've never had an issue. I think I've filed maybe 4 or 5 claims and I've never had an issue. Just recently I needed to get my heater fixed. They were out here within maybe 3 days and they had it rectified and fixed within the same day when they came out here.

We have had occasion several times to call on our warranty with Choice and every time they responded with a quick contact for a repair. We were even told by one repair man that Choice is the easiest warranty company for him to deal with. We're sold on Choice!

The first several times somehow what I asked for wasn't covered. I've had maybe 2 experiences where something broke that they did cover. They weren't meeting the needs that I had, so I was going to cancel them, but then they changed. They have increased the coverage and stuff so I kept them.

The outcome was good. I had to use them to replace my microwave recently. Also with the refrigerator, I guess electronic parts stopped working and I contacted choice. They sent the tech out and he fixed it. They sent me a check to replace the microwave.

They sent the repairman, they thought they fixed it but the problem continued, I called them back, they sent the repairman back the very next day and resolved the issue. I don't know what to say as we are in the midst of a multiple weeks long repair. Sears promptly sent a repairman out, he diagnosed the problem. A week later another repairman came out under the impression it was the first call (he diagnosed the same problem.)The first diagnosis didn't fix the problem so now we are waiting on the second part to arrive to see if that fixes the problem. When I called Choice (approximately a week later)to get a status report (despite what the answering service says, the website does not show anything other than the initial claim), they said they were sending Sears a message asking them to update us on the status of our repair. That was Monday morning and it's now Tuesday evening and no word from them. I'm not upset that the problem has not been solved because that's just the way appliance repairs go. The lack of communication is disconcerting.

They usually respond very quickly when you place a claim. Most of their contractors are very good and fix the problem quickly. Every once in a while we will get a contractor that doesn’t show up and Choice quickly replaces them with someone else to do the job. We have been with them for 8 years and are very pleased with their service. Only once it took a contractor over a week to respond. Normally it is the same day or the next.

As advertised so far. Payment process could be speedier. Plus approval processes for use of policy holder contractor too long and cumbersome, and resulting time is critical in emergency. Call, resister claim. If emergency, get, say plumbing pipe break repaired asap to preclude say flooding or more in wall damage. Submit claim and you review with owner for approval, and contractor if unsatisfied. (Almost bet prices in this area well below most places and quality better.) How do you quickly get approval for emergency like plumbing and HVAC, especially when no het in dead of winter? Call me.

They don't cancel appointments, like when you call and get everything fixed on your house, anything that's needed they jump right on it. They don't sit around, they take care of them. It's a respectable company and they do their diligence. I am happy with that. During COVID I needed my warranty for something and I could not get it. They kept on telling me that they could not get anybody and I should get somebody and they'll pay me back for it. That was the only time I felt that it was not there, and that was due to the COVID.

They are just good at what they do. They just do what they say they was gonna do. I just had to use my warranty when my refrigerator went out. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I called them. They were really helpful, and they sent someone out immediately. When I had two issues, she identified it and said we can just send one plumber out. The plumber was nice, but he came in and I didn't feel like he really fixed the problem. And I said, well did you double check the problem? He said yeah, it's it's fine. He still took my money, even though he only addressed one of the problems. I wouldn't say I have a bad experience, but sometimes its weird.

I had 2 very small issues and they were resolved fairly quickly after putting in a claim. What I didn't like about it, is we had a fairly decent bedroom fan, not the lowest grade, the fan that was offered was billed as the lowest value. If I wanted to get up to the quality that I had installed, I would have had to pay significantly more, so I don't like the fact that they replaced with the lowest quality fan.

Our warranty just barely became active and our garbage disposal stated leaking. We felt guilty about calling about something so soon. They sent a technician out, he took some pictures came back the next day. Couple hours and it was all replaced.
