I have a recent claim and it has been several months and it hasn't been resolved. There has been a huge gap in between the time when I email them and the response I get. My water heater stopped working and a plumber was sent to fix it. He tried to fix the problem but he had to order a part. He came back after several days and replaced the part but the problem was not solved. I was assigned a claim representative that responds very slowly. She gave me the phone number of the same plumber. He came out again. He tried to fix another part. He said it is the boiler that needs to be changed but he's going to try his best to fix it without changing the boiler. This was the only time I had this problem most of the time they are pretty prompt.

They want you to file the claim online and it's hard for me to do stuff online. I think they need to be a little more understanding of that. I used my warranty for my air conditioning and the people that choice sent me walked off the job. I never got a bill, they told me they'd get back with me in a couple of days and I when I called I just got voicemail. I was never followed up with by choice warranty even. They usually follow with an email or questionnaire.

You guys have been very good most of the time. There was one-time last year but I understand that you change the policy a little bit and I had a heater go out I had you guys come out look at the heater and they said it had a faulty gas line. Unfortunately, that component in the heater wasn’t covered. That was the only issue I have ever had.

I got up on a Sunday morning and realized my heater wasn't working. Choice answered my call timely and said they had a service man in the area that would be in contact. He called me within an hour and came the same day. It was awesome. They were professional. I was surprised how quick it was.

We're had several bad experiences but we have had more good than bad. Sometimes they send out the wrong person when they are unconfident but when they do send out the right people, they do a very good job and are very polite. Sometimes it takes longer than we expect but the last time we used the warranty, they came right away and fixed the problem immediately.

I have had one call to the customer service and they were very responsive. They sent a person out to fix it. It was a simple fix but they took care of it. I had to call them and they referred me to another company. The guy came out and did it. I paid the service charge and that was it.

I have asked somebody to come and deal with a problem or try to find someone to come. In the end, they couldn't actually fix it, but they did what they were supposed to do as I understand it. I felt that the contractor who came really did his best and that's a plus.

I've had mixed results with the customer support. I had one to two claims that weren't allowed so I really didn't agree with it but overall, it's been good. I've had Choice Home Warranty for probably two years now because we were moving into a house and since I didn't know anything about how the house was maintained, I got Choice Home Warranty so it would give me a little peace of mind in case anything broke down. The old air conditioner broke down but it turned out to be a part that they didn't cover. They gave me a couple hundred bucks just to make me feel better. They fixed my pool filter and that was fine. I had another problem with the pool and they said that I had reached the maximum limit and they were only going to give me a hundred and thirty dollars to fix that problem so I didn't even follow through on that. The quality of service have all been good technicians and fixed what needed to be fixed. Based off of the coverage issues that I've had, I'm probably not going to renew with them.

My dishwasher broke down and they fixed the problem. Initially, they tried to sell me a bigger package. The guy was super persistent, like a car salesman, even though I told him, he would not stop talking so I had to hang up on him. I wasn't very impressed with that. When I filed a claim for my dishwasher, I got this email that said "sorry, we can't find anybody to fix your dishwasher, can you find somebody yourself and we will reimburse you within thirty days?". But that was not acceptable for me so the next day, they magically found somebody and the person that they found to do the dishwasher, they came and checked it out and they misdiagnosed it and ordered the wrong part to fix it. So that took a week to get the part in. And then to get the right part took another week, so it was almost a two or three week process. They did get the dishwasher fixed.

You need to read the fine print when you purchase a home warranty. The repair done apparently was not covered by their warranty. They've been very good to me about taking care anytime I need a repair.

We used it twice, once with the garbage disposal and they did an excellent job. The second time with the oven and he did an excellent job. They came out and took care of the problem. There was another time they worked on my washing machine and the guy that came out didn't have the parts so it took an extra four or five days to get the washing machine fixed. He didn't bring out the right part to fix it but they came back five days later and fixed it.

I've had to call and they answered right away and then found a contractor right away. They send feedback questionnaires electronically in an email follow up. My garage door wasn't working and they found a contractor and the contractor called immediately and came out. They do exactly what they say it would.

It's easy to call and file a claim. Sometimes it's difficult to make an appointment that works with your schedule because they automatically set an appointment so then you have to call the company and change the appointment. Then you get a notification that you missed your appointment. Everybody that they've always sent out has been extremely knowledgeable and rectified the situation.

They normally will email or text you who the service provider is that they are sending out within hours of your call. Just recently my garbage disposal went out and I had to call and the technician was dispatched out within a day so and the unit had just froze up because it was old.

They take care of business and actually get things fixed. If I open up a case they respond. They send out a technician that is able to diagnose the problem. Something happened with my heating fan. The problem was diagnosed and they called choice to get approval. They made the repair and I paid the $60 repair fee and it was good.

My first time using my warranty I had some plumbing issues. I called and they were very nice. He promised that he would get someone out within 24 hours and someone came and fixed the plumbing problem. The plumber was pleasant and on time. I would recommend choice to family and friends. They are prompt and they answer my calls.

They are very responsive and the vendors that they have sent to my home have always done a good job. Most recently it was leak in my hallway bathroom the waxing at the bottom was replaced. They have the best deductible of any home warranty. I have been extremely happy with my three year policy.

They are very thorough when you call to place a claim they are very concerned. Choice doesn't cover doors or hinges or glass. Every thing I've called them for has worked out good except one time I called for the microwave. The door handle was about to come off and they wouldn't cover that.

My machine broke and I had them to come out. They sent someone out promptly but when the guys came he misdiagnosed it so they turn down my claim and I had to appeal it through the appeal process they sent me another technician and he reviews the situation and he gave them his analysis of it and they reimbursed me for that washing machine. I feel as though the price that they initially give you when they assessed the situation and determine that your item is no longer working is a bit low so I think they need to look at that situation other than that it's fine.

I've only contact the customer service once but when I did they explained everything. When Choice didn't pay for a service then they looked into it and let me know the reason it wasn't covered. I hadn't read that small print in the contract that stated that particular part wasn't covered. They pointed it out to me and they gave good service. The first time I use the warranty was for my garbage disposal and they sent someone over very quickly and they checked it out and they replaced it. I was very pleased with that.

The way my last claim was handled. Afterbeing told repair was okd I never got a call about the parts arriving and telling me when it would be fixed. Didn't matter as I would have cancelled as I bought a new frig, I thought that if the repair costs more than half of a new one i would have received an offer. Repair man said parts and labor would runover 500. I bought a new one for 900.

I had major repairs in my house this year and they were really good about connecting me with the people so I like the company. I had to use it over thanksgiving in my kitchen for my dishwasher, they were able to come out and fix it that thanksgiving, and I appreciate that they were able to come quick because I had people coming over for dinner.

The other company I had if the item was very old they would give me a cash allowance toward another one but choice said that they would replace it. There was no maximum age so that's why I chose them. I'm waiting for a repair on my microwave. I notified choice and they sent out a notification of an appointment which wasn't good for me. So I got in contact with the repair man and we set an appointment. He told me my microwave was totally gone but then he said to me he doesn't make any money by people getting a new item. So he tried to fix it. I mentioned to choice that he had said that but they emailed me that he was going to come fix it. I asked them what he said to them because he told me it was totally gone. They told me they couldn't tell me what he said. I heard nothing else from either of them. Finally I got in touch with choice and they sent and email he would be in touch. I waited and waited. Last I heard from him he said he was waiting on a part. This is the only experience I've had with them. I'm not pleased with this experience. I don't if this is choice's fault or the technicians fault. I wish they would get back in touch with me faster.

I had them for a couple of years at my last residence and everything was taken care of well. The only downfall is you have to wait a couple of days. It took four days to fix my water heater. When they put it out there to find a contractor if they would try to find a contractor closer to the residence that would be a big help. When I get called from people that are two hours away they don't want the job.

Even though I got a full warranty package they don't tell you there are so many exclusions. For most of the items I call they say it's not included. The ultimate goal is to deny a claim. My hot water heater didn't work. When I called I got a response they scheduled someone three days later. Hot water is an essential item especially when the temperature is colder. They should notify customers at purchase that this is just a warranty and if they have an emergency it's not going to be handled right away. I'm shopping for another company that is a little bit more flexible and does not deny the majority of your claims.

I've used it twice now and everything's been fine. The people that come do excellent work. First time I used it for my garbage disposal. The checked it and I needed a new one so they came back and put one in. Second time my washing machine was leaking. The came a couple days later and put in a new part and everything is working fine.

They are always available and they always answer all my questions and all the people seem pretty knowledgeable. I just recently used the warranty for a pool pump. Recently my garbage disposal was leaking oil into my cabinet. I called them and the man came out with a new one. The people they use know what they are doing and get it done. If they don't have the parts they order them for me and come back and put them in. I haven't had any bad experiences yet.

We've had very good experiences processing claims. The last time we called and they had a technician out the next morning. It was on a Sunday and we had it repaired my 11am on Monday. They have a good list of qualified technicians.
