It has been my experience that the technician they send try to find things that would exclude an appliance or system from coverage; often claiming that a problem is caused by some part of the unit that is not covered. It is a roll of the dice whether it will be covered and you have to pay the service fee for someone to do the diagnosis only to tell you that your appliance or system had a malfunction that is not covered by warranty. I was told that my AC unit was not old enough to have a problem; an AC unit that was 14 years and 10 months old. They said it needed to be 15 years old. The tech claimed that the compressor shorted out but the compressor is still working, just not efficiently which is why I filed the claim in the first place. Another time a broken tank on a toilet was alleged to be a problem with a flange. Yet to see an item that is actually covered.

I’ve only needed to use the warranty once because my dryer quit. I made a phone call and they repair company had an appointment made and the came out then ordered parts and they put them in and now everything is fine. The response was immediate. It was only a week later and everything was cared for.

I wasn’t happy with the last company I had so I switched. It’s all been positive. I have no complaints. The price is good. Sometimes it is hard to get things fixed right away because I live in a smaller area, that is my only complaint. but when my dishwasher was leaking they set someone up to fix it in a few days.

They’re excellent. I have been very pleased. I’ve used it several times for my refrigerator and different plumbing issues and air conditioner and it is very easy to get a person on the line and file a claim. They came right and did all the repairs.

The technical people they partner with are very good, very professional, and very knowledgeable. Customer service is always responsive and accurate in a timely manner. There is less than a 12 hour turn around. I have used my warranty a number of times, the last with the ac unit, and it was resolved less than 24 hours later.

Overall my experience has been superior. They provide their customers with good quality and good professional service. You don’t have to wait a long period of time for feedback from the company. Choice seems to be top of the line service. They’re dependable, reliable, and trustworthy. The people are polite, courteous, and understanding. Once my garbage disposal wasn’t working and they came out and saw that the old one wasn’t installed correctly and made sure the new once was installed correctly.

So far I’ve had a good experience with Choice. Anytime I need them, they are there, whether it is a weekend or weekday. The pricing is extremely reasonable. Not everything is covered. They don’t beat around the bush and let you know if something is covered and if it is covered, they take care of it.

Customer support is usually very responsive online but if you call them, you have to wait a good time. I think it is a great value. I got the 5 year plan. It had already paid for itself. I had to use my warranty to fix my AC. They quickly assigned someone. We got the parts ordered without out of pocket expenses. They are very efficient.

Occasionally when I call customer service, they are hurried and not friendly. I don’t think they give enough allowance to fix things properly, for example I paid eighteen hundred dollars for a cook top and they would only gave me five hundred dollars to but the some other brand. I was pleasantly surprised when I filed a claim on the weekend for the toilet and they got someone out on Monday.

For the price you can't go wrong. I’ve never had an issue. I think I would have an issue if I wen with another company. I am happy with how customer service handles things. Every time I needed to use the warranty, they’ve handled their business and get the job done.

Choice Home Warranty gave me a really good deal that is a good value. Whenever I have an issue, they have gone above and beyond to help me resolve it. I needed to use my warranty because there was a clog in the kids’ bathroom and they came out and fixed it no problem the next day. I was very pleased. They were very professional.

It's a good company to go with. I have recommended to several people. It’s not the absolute best customer service but it has worked out for me and for the most part everything has gone smoothly. I had an issue with my stove and the repair man actually ended up causing more damage to it. I had issue getting it replaced but eventually the decided to give me a few hundred bucks. I had used them before for my AC and the company they sent for that was phenomenal. Most things the service has been fairly decent and they stand behind things.

Cost effective and so far they’ve done a really good job. When you put in a claim, they respond within an hour or two with a contractor. The people that come are qualified and certified. It’s affordable, not much to spend every month, and when a repair man comes out you pay a minimal fee.

i am disappointed in the misrepresentation of if we can not fix it we will replace it when in actually it is if we can not fix it we will give you what is would cost to get the same item which in my case is not possible since it is no longer made. and does not include delivery and instillation.. But with that being said it is better than the sears protection plan.

My friend recommend Choice to me. I had to use them for my microwave and my pool pump and my water heater. They respond quickly. I’ve never had to call them back again. The water heater guy wasn’t good so I had to hire someone else but he didn’t charge me.

I have had many experiences with them. The first time I needed my warranty was three days after I moved into my home when the washing machine was broken. The first person they sent me was very bad and as soon as I informed them, they took care of it and set an individual up to help me. Since then they have sent very efficient people. I used to have American Home Shield and I needed to try someone else and I picked choice when my other contract ran out. The customer service is really good. They always keep me notified and only when I called about my ceiling fan did it take a bit longer. Since covered, things are more online.

Every time I have an issue, they take care of it. Recently my fridge went out and told them what was going on and the next day they had a guy out. I had another issue three months ago with it so they didn’t charge me this time because the first guy charged me and it was fixed within a week.

It is very convenient to be able to contact CHW for all issues instead of having to find a resolution on your own. Normally the service call is actioned very quickly. My only concern is that many of the companies that come out for service calls are very difficult to research. It's very difficult to find any information on them, and they arrive in unmarked vehicles and no type of uniform, so I'm left wondering, " Is this company qualified to perform the work?"

I’m a real estate agent, I only refer Choice Home Warranty, I’ve probably set up about 20 different policies. It is easy to request someone to come out and help when something is wrong. I had a terrible experience but that was not Choice’s fault. It was the contractor but they should put in a system so they know not to refer a vendor to your house again. Other than that everything has been fantastic. The call center is frank so I know I can count on them to explain the policy.

Each time I’ve called, they’ve sent somebody to fix the problem and I don’t have to pay a big repair bill, I just pay $45, other companies are $75 to $85. Over the years service has been improving. Initially it was okay but they have improved gradually and they keep me on a grandfather plan so the service fees are pretty nominal. I get appointments the very next day or two. I uses it almost once every year.
