Don’t waste your money! Horrible coverage. I bought the warranty and they tell you everything is covered then I had an issue with my furnace and they denied the claim. So I sent a appeal and I called the lady who was looking into it and she said they’re not covering it. Don’t waste your money with this crappy company.

The pricing is good but the service is bad. They sent the service company to my house 3 times to gather information for the claim in addition to a myriad of phone calls resulting in a claim denial for a ridiculous reason. Although I was finally able to get the decision overturned it took a lot of effort.

I have been with Choice for yearsThere have been many times that I have had to pay out of pocket to repair items. My latest claim was also denied. My water heater broke down and flooded my home. They told me that certain items in the water heater are not covered, there for I’m out of pocket 1,500, very disappointed in the company

I have filed 2 claims and both have been miserable experiences. Taking 6 weeks to fix a microwave. The other claim would never pay and had to call customer service to get it resolved. I use to be with a different company and wish I had never switched.

I was denied the only claim I made. The company Choice used told me that they were the worst warranty company and never approved claims. This was coming from the company Choice told us to use. What a rip off. If you want to pay premiums only to have your claims denied this is the company for you.

Terrible experience. I’ve had 2 incidences in the first year and both were denied due to “fine print”. The second was a failed hot water heater which most definitely should have been replaced. I am a Real Estate Agent and I would NEVER recommended Choice Home Warranty. Watch out for slippery sales people claiming this is an excellent policy.

it seems that Choice Home Warranty has a policy of NOT replacing broken items that are advertised in their promotional pieces. They had rather 'try' to put a band aid on something rather than replace it. Also if a product is broken they want to replace with a cheaper item rather than the same comparable item.

I was very disappointed with the very first time of using my new contract. I was denied the repair of my water softener because I was told it is a regular maintainence issue. A regular maintenance would cost $200.00. Why did I buy a contract to be told that I should pay extra for maintenance???

Tub had a leak that went through the ceiling. A month and multiple calls later they still didn’t fix it. We ended up fixing it ourselves and canceling the claim and fixed if cheaper than their service fee. Company is a scam and waste of time! Do not buy!

Very poor customer service. My AC stopped working . They assigned me someone to check it out in 7 days!! I called then and their answer was nothing we can do. They don’t replace appliances and AC units for no charge like they claim. They mislead their customers. I’m canceling my contract with them.

Have now had 2 claims denied. Warranty is useless if they find a reason to deny every claim. Instead of a sense of security, they made a bad situation worse. Wasted time waiting to be denied when I could have been getting things fixed. I've spent 3 times what the warranty cost to fix my plumbing and HVAC. This warranty is useless!!

Would not repair and replace a cartridge in the shower to stop a leak. Also, would not fix a toilet leak but the repairman still came out knowing those were the 2 issues. The company came back with: You should have read your contract. Will be cancelling the service. In the contract it states it covers “plumbing issues” Uh-huh

You pay money for a warranty so then you have to pay a service fee to be told that it's not covered. Then you have to pay somebody else to come out and fix it and pay another service fee because the home warranty only covers certain aspects of something that is broken

Although this type of failure wasn’t covered under our policy terms, this is only 1 out of the 15 systems and appliances in which we provide coverage.

I have had Choice for 5 years. They manage to exclude everything that should be covered. I paid for additional coverage for a pool heater and when rejected they said they don't cover heat pumps (and that is what is a pool heater is. Stay away they are shady operators and have been sued by the State of New Jersey!

If it could be 0 stars it would. Don’t buy this crap. Only tried to use it 1 time on my heating unit and denied the claim to fix it. It was a valve in the outside compressor unit. That is part of the AC and heating unit. It’s just a big hassle and time wasted. They want your money but won’t pay.

This is a sham co. It took over 2 mts. to find a provider willing to work with them. They lie to your face. They schedule people to come out and most do not show up or cancel. When a co. finally presents an estimate, they say they did NOT receive it, but SUDDENLY they realize that your problem is not covered.

Choice home warranty is not a reputable warranty company. they scam their policy holders as well as their service providers. pressure service provide to find something to void the claims. choice make service providers wait 45 to 60 days before receiving payment and will withhold payment for 365 days if they stop working for them.
