This is the worst plan I have ever since owning my home they do not pay claims they deny claims on the 1st attempt and they do not pay claims. The claims represented as do not return your phone the worst plan I have ever seen. There is a class action suit against them. They are fraud. I wish I can rate them a zero.

Unhappy Customer

Called in per the email for discount and the sales rep "Nathan" kept prompting me to purchase 3 and 5 year plans! He was disrespectfully persistent and after I let him know I was only interested in the year plan he hung up on me! Will not be recommending to nobody!!!

The overall worst home warranty company ever. I would not recommend them to anyone. I’ve been waiting since June to get my microwave fixed. Every time I call choice they act like they don’t care and just tell me to call back the next day. So I advise you to stay away.

We had Choice Home Warranty for one year..the LAST time we ever do business with them! They would constantly deny our claims..One was for a toilet that leaked. The man came out..tried to sell us a water softener and then later said Choice had denied the claim. Choice proceeded to deny all of our 3 claims the rest of the year.

I cancelled my policy because of their terrible services. I haven’t gotten a refund check of $1901.00 for over a month. I emailed them every day but no responses. When I called, they put me hold for forever or hang up when I got through. This is an illegal act of keeping my money for no services.

CHW is a scam. It took them 3 weeks to send a technician after we placed a claim for our A/C unit. Came to know none of the local companies wanted to work with them because CHW don’t pay them for 2 months. CHW only pays 30% of the total cost and rest is for the policy holders to cover. Be warned. The Choice Home Warranty is a SCAM.

My washing machine was making a funny noise. A tech who barely spoke english spent less than 5 minutes in my home and reported that the washer had been overloaded and misused in an abusive manner. Buy an American Home Shield Warranty instead of this scam.

Technician stood us up, told us he would come if I called choice warranty to give him more money, then Choice Warrenty ordered the wrong part because it was the “cheap” version...still have no air conditioner, super frustrated with company.

If you have an air conditioning unit they will do everything NOT to replace it. You need to read all the fine print, not like I did. There are all kinds of exclusions! I had to pay over $5000 for a replacement. Stay away from them!

They have failed on every claim I have had and it takes 2-4 weeks at least to even get someone to show up to look at anything. HVAC coverage is totally useless if it leaks Freon it must be rust or corrosion which is excluded from coverage. Save your money, you will be way ahead.

I have filed 5 claims with Choice since February 2018 thru July 2019 and all 5 denied. From my pool filter, shower head in main bathroom not working, hot water heater makes a loud taping sound every time I turn on the hot water to other toilet plumbing issues. A total RIP off this company and I would not recommend to anyone.

I’m the 5 yrs I’ve been with them and on three different occasion when I needed an appliance that was new broke down they have all these clauses of stuff not covered and never paid on one of them. Even the vendors don’t want to work fir them cause one told me they delay paying them. Would never recommend this company.

This is my 2nd issue with Choice Home Warranty. Both times they said my AC is not covered. They will find a way to justify non coverage. They are also very slow in processing your claim. The truth just needs to be told that is all.

The customer service quality is so bad and the contractors quality is awful . the technician wife came in soon as she got in the door asked how your going to pay for your diagnostic took the money and left they did not fix nothing or install anything.. they looked scary and unprofessional . I just paid them to get them out of my house...

I have been a customer for almost a year.My first clam was for a broken oven.That was 8 weeks ago and it still is not fixed. They owe the service contract company too much money and they will not fix my oven until they get back money owed . Very poor business practices.

Horrible company don’t use them. Hose Bibb broke, they won’t fix it. Air conditioner on house I bought went out, they won’t fix it. They won’t fix the fact that there is no hot water in my master shower in a house I just bought. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! READ THE FINE PRINT

My dishwasher broke. They did get my appointment set quickly. Once he came out after about five days of trying to get in touch with them. And the representative they assign me to said 179 to replace what? Can u buy with that there just hard to get in touch with.

The name says it all. It’s their CHOICE what they want to fix. Read the contract before you start with them. They have so many exclusions that other warranty companies cover. They take weeks to fix something. No return calls. I would not recommend.
