The guy came to work on my dryer said he put in a thermostat but the dryer still not working properly it gets warm but takes 2 to three hours to dry one small load of clothes, he said something about the exhaust may be stopped up about Didn't unstop it, not satisfied at all still can't dry clothes

The problem turned out to be a gas leak. Even though smelled by the water heater the leak was elsewhere. The plumber sent tightened a nut and left without fixing it. Then would not answer his phone or return

I am a current customer of Choice Home Warranty. I am on day 4 of no heat in Northern Illinois in December. They still have not even assigned a technician to come out and look at my furnace. Everytime I call they ask me to be patient and give them more time, but they can't even give me any names of companies that they work with near me. I believe they sold me a policy knowing that they didn't have any technicians in my area. I have been told I could hire my own technician and if they fill out the paperwork correctly and it is approved then they may reimburse me in 30 days

My experiences with choice have been less than satisfactory. As there contractors advise they make it difficult to make you whole again. I have carried 3 polices for 3 different properties and have been continuesly disappointed. particulary with HVAC refusals even though i provided maintenance records. I will be canceling all plans. They mislead you. If you need HVAC coverage you will be dissappointed. They patch and repair with expected contributions from you. but the do not pay for replacment.

these people talked me into buying 3 yrs up front to save money. They said if I sold my house I would either get a refund of the unused premium or I could transfer the policy. Every time I filed a claim, they gave me a hard time about getting the problem resolved. I stopped going through them. When I sold the house, the new owners didn't want the policy. I called for a refund and they told me I wouldn't get any money back bc I had filed claims. What is the point of insurance it that is the outcome?????

What's the point of these Home Warranty Companies? They deny almost every claim I put in. They won't fix my hot water heater because they said it needs to be cleaned. The mechanic that came out said the thermocouple is bent. I wish they would just fix it. My refrigerator has a leak that isn't coming from the water line. My dad is a plumber and the water line is fine. They won't cover someone coming out because they don't fix issues with the water line. I would be better off putting my monthly fee in a savings account.

Terrible experience, I had to cancel my two contracts within the first month for my rental properties due the slow responsiveness and the bad service provided by Choice, their technical service were more focus to look for ways to void the claims rather than fix the problems and at the end I had to paid from my pocket for the systems repair costs plus their service fees, and now I have been struggling for more than 30 days to get my cancellation refunds.

I will never go back to them. Choice Home Warrenty is the worst Warrenty company that I have ever had. One year I put in a claim for my heater and they told me that parts that were broke they didn’t cover it so I had to take my own money and replace me whole heating unit in my house. The other claim that I put in was the last when my refrigerator compressor went down and I was told they can’t fix it and they are not replacing it so I had to spend my money and buy a new refrigerator. They are the worst.

waisted money, time and patience. two different companies agreed that my boiler was unsafe to operate. the company they assigned the claim to stated it was too old and had begun to lose insulation and the burners were at risk. choice completely refused the claim and appeal stating it doesn't cover rust or corrosion which is exactly what makes older boilers unsafe over time.

It took us 3 days of constant calling to get help from the assigned case manager. He was responsive when i finally got it touch with him. However, trying to get Choice to help us was very frustrating and annoying. I have reservations about referring this company to anyone.

I would give CHW a zero. I have submitted several claims only to have them denied. When I could get them to send out a repair person I found it would take several days, the repair person would be unfamiliar with the repair, or unqualified to fix the specific repair. I had a pool problem and they sent a Heating and Plumbing repair person who didn’t repair pool equipment. I had them try to send a repair person from New Jersey. I live in Pennsylvania two hours away. I attempted to cancel my policy only to get stuck get passed from one person to the next.

I called CHW within 24 hours to cancel my policy and to get a refund on my credit card. I was told it would take up to two weeks for the refund. It has been over two weeks. I called and was told the refund is still in process. It states in Section L of the Warranty there is a $50 charge for cancellation. We'll see what they charge for the cancellation. I'm going to contact the Attorney General's Office and file a complaint against CHW if this is not done in the next 48 hours.

BEWARE OF CHOICE HOME WARRANTY if you think they will over your AC. Recently, my AIR CONDITIONER relay went out and was temporarily replaced by the AC company that Choice Home Warranty (CHW) sent out. They took back the part after they discovered the motor was also bad and the claim was denied due to debris. DEBRIS appears to be a big loop hole for CHOICE HOME WARRANTY as they WILL NOT COVER THE AIR CONDITINERS MOTOR and REFUSED TO REPLACE THE AIR CONDITIONER. If you live in ARIZONA or any place with HABOOBS or dust storms, Do you not count on trust CHOICE HOME WARRANTY to be fair.

The last time I use your company vendors for my needs where not reliable and cause more headaches then it was worth it. Vendor quoted me a price and I paid it and the told my wife price double. In all our circulation of air diminished greatly. Now it seems everyday I get an email to come join Choice and how great you are better then the next. Unless your base here in South Texas and truly know good reliable vendors to best serve your customers your just another service company selling dreams.

Not happy. My dishwasher broke, so I put a claim it online. The tech came out and told me that they would most likely replace the unit because the motor was shot. The next day I get a email saying congratulations that the processed my claim and they were offering me 179. I called and eventually talked to someone that offered me 279. That still doesn’t fix the problem!! I’m on disability and my funds are real tight.

I had an issue with when the service tech diagnosed the problem with my appliance and had the part approved to proceed . He was informed that even though he had the correct part in stock , he had to wait for Chw to ship him the part so I had to wait an additional 3 to 5 business days. When I tried to call to get it done with the part the tech had , the customer service manager suggested that Igo to the laundermat . I will be cancelling my service .

Very convincing when I signed and when I needed service I was told that they couldn’t find anyone to accept them so I needed to find a plumber, pay for it and send them the bill. After talking to several plumbing businesses I found out the reason Choice couldn’t find a plumber. They don’t pay their bills. I was told They had a no questions asked cancellation policy. After 2 years I still haven’t received anything for my cancellation. Don’t buy from them.

Horrible company!!! It seems as though their main goal is to try and find ways NOT to cover a claim, not to mention the length of time you have to wait after filing a claim. We filed our last claim on a Wednesday morning, someone came out Friday at 4:30!!! Cancelling our coverage. Would advise you not to waste your money!!! Lastly their customer service reps need retraining, the last rep we spoke to tried overtalking is AND was argumentative!!!

Today is Sunday 10/7. I made a claim on Tuesday 10/2 for a plumbing issue where I had water coming through my dining room ceiling. The plumber came out and left saying he’d contacted CHW. I’ve called CHW 3 times and been told the same thing. They are waiting on the plumber to submit information. I’ve asked for a new plumber. I’ve asked them to stay on the plumber. I asked them to call me to follow up. NOTHING. They take your money and give no concern to your needs. Don’t do this. Save your money and pay for repairs on your own. The customer service is horrible.

I feel there objective is to sell policies a d deny claims. I had a claim for my sink that somehow fell (detached) from the granite. A cording to there coverage wear and tear is covered. The sink was installed 8 years ago, sound like normal wear and tear to me. They also cover wiring issues but not broken or frayed wiring, which happens over time. It's as if they've built so many loop holes into their coverages. Then you are out $65 for a tech to come out for nothing. This is a horrible company.

A very poor excuse of a home warranty insurance. They use every excuse not to cover the appliance. My a/c evaporator coil was leaking freon. No rust, no sign of corrosion, but because it is not suppose to leak they would not cover it. When I told them I wanted to cancel the remaining 2 1/2 years on my policy, I was told for the first time ever, they do not give refunds. This company is a total SCAM. Do NOT waste your money.

I am not impressed with this warranty company. It’s like the rest they will do small repairs but they can always find a way not to do big repairs. However the best service that I received was from the Rep that took my request and the vendor that they provided, Discount Drains that resolved my issues. There was another Rep that help me before when I had an air conditioning problem in which she paid half for a special test that was needed. Which got them out of paying for my air conditioner repairs. I will not be renewing nor would I recommend this company to anyone else.

i had 3 home warranty company in 25 years one of worst i ever seen in 3 is choice took a day off cost me $400 plus paid $45 to tech and one tech just replace rubber ring in toilet flush may not even cost $2, 2 other items denied ,2nd job paid $45 noting done .they commit hale of things when they want sale you insurance but choice is very bad choice so far it my first claim and a small claim good luck people

The very 1st claim I made was denied bc it was deemed the repair was not due to normal wear and tear. The repairman hired by your company determined without question that the damaged parts were original parts and they do wear out over time. The repairman determined that the cause was 100% normal wear and tear. Despite my appeal and the repairman contacting HCW twice, the claim was still denied. This denial is unreasonable and incredibly poor business.

I am very unhappy that when I asked to have my new coverage with Choice start when my current policy ended that my card was charged $250 immediately and the next charge in 30 days. This was not explained to me by Mr. Charlie M. I am retired and am dependent upon my monthly pension to pay these charges. I wish to cancel my coverage until September 5 when my current policy expires. This will allow my payments to align with my pension

Call to make a new claim the communication was hard the operator hade a heavy accent My appointment for a A C repair was scheduled 4 day after I open the claim. The gist appointments nobody showed up then I made another appointment that was moved 3 times. Now the technician finally came was there for 3 minute and claimed he replace a fan motor and cap absolutely not throu I like to know how much it charged you for this job
