Dishwasher has been out of commission for over 1 month. Worst service I've had with a warranty company. I understand that they are not the ones doing the repairs but they are the ones who contracted these Yahoo's. Meanwhile my 80 year old parents are having to still wash dishes by hand.

First time submitting a claim with CHW. Appointment time was for 11:00-3:00 yesterday. Technician did not make appointment. Rescheduled for 7:00-11:00 today. Rescheduled for 12:30, then technician canceled. Stayed home two days from work to have dishwasher serviced. CHW customer service was unhelpful.

Upon review of your specific claim, the failure that occurred to your unit, is not “Included” in accordance with the terms and conditions of our policy. Although this type of failure wasn’t covered under our policy terms, this is only 1 out of the 15 systems and appliances in which we provide coverage.

A company came to my house to fix something on my freezer door and now the entire freezer is broken. Ice machine no longer makes ice and everything is melting. These were working fine before the company came out. I am waiting to hear back from Choice. This is ridiculous!

Water heater had a leak. Choice Home Warranty choose not to pay for the repair since the water tank was not covered. If a water heater is covered shouldn’t the tank be included? I can not recommend Choice Home Warranty. There are to many exclusions in their warranty.

They sent the service company to my house 3 times to gather information for the claim in addition to a myriad of phone calls resulting in a claim denial for a ridiculous reason. Although I was finally able to get the decision overturned it took a lot of effort.

Terrible experience. I’ve had 2 incidences in the first year and both were denied due to “fine print”. The second was a failed hot water heater which most definitely should have been replaced. I am a Real Estate Agent and I would NEVER recommended Choice Home Warranty. Watch out for slippery sales people claiming this is an excellent policy.

it seems that Choice Home Warranty has a policy of NOT replacing broken items that are advertised in their promotional pieces. They had rather 'try' to put a band aid on something rather than replace it. Also if a product is broken they want to replace with a cheaper item rather than the same comparable item.

I was very disappointed with the very first time of using my new contract. I was denied the repair of my water softener because I was told it is a regular maintainence issue. A regular maintenance would cost $200.00. Why did I buy a contract to be told that I should pay extra for maintenance???

Tub had a leak that went through the ceiling. A month and multiple calls later they still didn’t fix it. We ended up fixing it ourselves and canceling the claim and fixed if cheaper than their service fee. Company is a scam and waste of time! Do not buy!
