Have now had 2 claims denied. Warranty is useless if they find a reason to deny every claim. Instead of a sense of security, they made a bad situation worse. Wasted time waiting to be denied when I could have been getting things fixed. I've spent 3 times what the warranty cost to fix my plumbing and HVAC. This warranty is useless!!

Would not repair and replace a cartridge in the shower to stop a leak. Also, would not fix a toilet leak but the repairman still came out knowing those were the 2 issues. The company came back with: You should have read your contract. Will be cancelling the service. In the contract it states it covers “plumbing issues” Uh-huh

You pay money for a warranty so then you have to pay a service fee to be told that it's not covered. Then you have to pay somebody else to come out and fix it and pay another service fee because the home warranty only covers certain aspects of something that is broken

They refused to pay a plumber for a hole in water pipe, said it had rust and corrosion on it. The Plumber told then it didnot have either. Also I have been waiting for a part on My Microwave for over two months. I would not buy from this company again.

Although this type of failure wasn’t covered under our policy terms, this is only 1 out of the 15 systems and appliances in which we provide coverage.

I have had Choice for 5 years. They manage to exclude everything that should be covered. I paid for additional coverage for a pool heater and when rejected they said they don't cover heat pumps (and that is what is a pool heater is. Stay away they are shady operators and have been sued by the State of New Jersey!

If it could be 0 stars it would. Don’t buy this crap. Only tried to use it 1 time on my heating unit and denied the claim to fix it. It was a valve in the outside compressor unit. That is part of the AC and heating unit. It’s just a big hassle and time wasted. They want your money but won’t pay.

This is a sham co. It took over 2 mts. to find a provider willing to work with them. They lie to your face. They schedule people to come out and most do not show up or cancel. When a co. finally presents an estimate, they say they did NOT receive it, but SUDDENLY they realize that your problem is not covered.

Apparently the Labor day holiday is too much of a major holiday to have the authorization department open. Customer service is always open since they outsource their calls to another country. Lesson learned. Make sure if something breaks down make sure it doesnt happen on a holiday. Long time customer but not for much longer.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The list of exclusions is twice as long as what is covered. I was promised there were no exclusions over the phone or by the salesman. When I got the actual booklet 2 weeks after I signed on, I was shocked to see the blatant lie in front of my face. 4 out of 5 claims that I made were denied due to exclusions.

You think its a good deal, but when an issue comes up and you try to make a claim they have you refer to the contract sub section whatever and you see most of the items that need work are not included in the coverage.
