Right now I'm appealing a choice for them not to pay. There aren't clear rules of what is covered and what is not. Why wouldn't a hose be covered? That makes no sense.

Not a good one! I had 2 homes with CHW. Now down to one(the first home, is a looooong story) they don’t stop until they get you; when it time for them to approve on a Water Heater or a Duck Work; they find all kinds of excuses to not approve the job.

I had a problem with my A/C and I submitted a claim. A technician came out and I paid the service call fee only for the technician to tell me what the problem could possibly be and for Choice to deny my claim. What's the purpose of paying 50 bucks a month and a service call fee of 75 bucks for no service? It all seems like a scam.

Had a main line clog where I had sewage backing up into the house. It took them six hours to respond to me, and they couldn't get anyone out there to do anything until five days later. Ended up just calling a plumber myself. Definitely a nightmare to deal with.

They do not find repair technician for days or weeks. Put it on you to find one and claim you will get reimbursed only to deny the claim. Raise monthly contract rate and deductible fee without prior notice to customer. Stay away from them!

have claim # 127276064. Appliance co says problem is normal wear and and tear - you say no. Very frustrated and volt says they can repair for less that $200. How does a senior couple not use normal care when running a load maybe twice a week. Will certainly be very cautious when time to renew my house as well as my daughter's house.

Do not waste your time or money with this company - they are terrible. It's difficult to speak with someone, and when you do they're extremely rude. They pay maybe 1/4 of the cost of replacing/repairing and you're still stuck with a huge bill. Save yourself the heartache and stay away!!

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY TO ANYONE. YOU HAVE TO MANY LOOP HOLES AND YOU'LL FIND ANY EXCUSE UNDER THE SUN TO NOT COVER A REPAIR. Very unhelpful. After a technician took the upfront service fee, he left and never came back, never did the work and never returned calls. When I asked CHW what they could do to make it better, they recommended canceling their coverage. I’m doing just that.

I paid for the TOTAL PLAN for one year for noting I call twice for minor problems, they send an independent contractor who never care to fix the issue Only care to get paid the$75.00 deductible, to say how much more we need to paid him to fix the problem, because it's not cover by the insurance

turned down my first 2 claims. First claim was not given emergency attention. The contractor claims he never received info from Choice. Second claim was turned down for system failure not due to normal wear and tear . This was not a good reason for a 20 year old unit. Based on that all claims could be turned down

Extremely difficult to work with on this issue. Continued delays and unwillingness on the part of CHW to expedite the claim process with myself and the technician who came out. Very disappointed with CHW. It took CHW over 6 days to find a technician who would take the claim, because it is so difficult to work with CHW.

So far in one year, Choice Home Warrant has only been able to find one technician for 3 different claim requests. The one took 3 weeks to clear a drain. The other 2 claims I have had to find my own technician. My previous experience with American Home Shield, they were always able to find a technician promptly.

Very very disappointed. Did not cover one cent on my HVAC. Why I have no idea since I’d had coverage for months prior to the outside unit’s failure. I had filed an appeal and after two days still no response. Think second about this warranty company. They may not cover your appliances either !

We filed a claim for a leak that appeared 30 days after we occupied the property and so far the claim is not being honored due to no home inspection being performed. We were not informed of this policy and Choice happily took our premium.
