I am still struggling to get a help with a very simple fix in Washington machine! The choice Warrenty team keep promising me that the technicians will fix the issue since TWO months! I paid upfront for 3 years services. I tried to speak to the manager every time and customer care reps keep saying that managers are not there to speak customers and they only for administration jobs!!!!! Choice Home Warranty does not honor the policies. I am in the process of finding my own tech to take care of my heating unit. I have contacted several times about getting this service taken care of. Sometimes no response from them, to find your own tech and we will reimburse you. And there are all kinds of stipulations to the reimbursement process. I am so disappointed and frankly angry with them. I feel like I have been duped out of 460.00 for nothing.

Company is a scam. Was advertised as a if we can't fix it then we replace it. I have been refused common wear and tear repairs due to the fine print of their contract. Contract caps at 1500 dollars, this does not buy a new air conditioner. They advertise as 24/7 but in the evening phone just rings and rings. Can take weeks to get a technician to only find out choice will not cover repair.

I customer for two years, don’t waste your time on money with them, thief and bad customer service, beside you lose the cost of the insurance, every time somebody come to inspect you pay extra $45 and hundred percent of the time they decline, they are you about all cases, they always find excuse in the fine print. Less headache and cheaper to find local contractor by yourself, or try other company. Don’t don’t don’t.

I really thought that I was going to get great value for my money - however, I did NOT - they advertise that items such as your water heater are included for repair or replacement but then they have "fine print and exclusions " and my technician reported something different from what he told me. I did NOT get a repair or a replacement. I have requested a refund for my time left. I gave a 3 star on customer service because I was treated well when buying the contract (although inclusions and exclusions were not explained) and treated very well thru the refund process.

I needed my water heater fixed. first thing they wanted to do is deny my claim. I pushed back they sent a tech. My water heater worked for a day. I cancelled choice and they would not honor my claim even though they had my money!! Make sure you read all the fine print they had more reasons not to fix it than to fix it. Complete rip off! Glad I did not have them for long.

please everyone read your contract , I would hate to see anyone this winter feel secure with this company and have a major problem like furnace shutting down because it isnt covered if you read the fine print.all the parts that make it run are not included in the plan. a valve that opens and closes in furnace which is an expensive part they wont repair just told me to look at my contract so i going back to my old company.

Bad information, the plumber that was sent to our house was threatening so my wife called company and said she’d call police if he showed up. Choice would not dispatch someone to my house 3 days from the time we called. The water leak wasn’t going to wait 3 days and we didn’t want more damage to our house. Had to call someone else. Well I have no clue how the repairs are handled because I have filed 3 claims for 3 different issues and not one has showed during scheduled times. 1 said they never got the order. 1 just never showed. 1. Text they had to reschedule. When I called they company they said sorry. So I am calling tomorrow to cancel and get a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I gave this company one star because it can't go any lower. This company's home warranty is not worth the ink and paper it is printed on. They do not have contractors that will work with them. They say to get your own and get reimbursed. They do not pay the reimbursement. Happen twice on on our property. HVAC and water heater. The advertisement for this company statements are inaccurate. Takes months to hear back from the company. They hardly cover anything. We had a refrigerator go out the week we moved into our new house and they have us $50 to replace a part that was only a fraction of the problem. Also we have a furnace that wouldn't turn on weeks after moving in and we were told it could possibly catch our house on fire. Still no replacement. So no, I wouldn't recommend them.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I got a second opinion of the root cause issue to my water heater proving the first technician came out just listed the exclusion of the contact to void the warranty. Second opinion confirmed is was the age contributing to the water heater failure and choice then tells me the water heater is covered on my policy, just not the tank. Terrible company that transfers you around using loop poles and never solving anything.

RUN. I have had another warranty that actually paid or fixed items. This company pays very little towards replacement. They deny almost everything. They don't have techs. You have to get your own most of the time and then wait a month to be reimbursed. They told me they paid the same as my previous warranty. THEY LIED! Beware also - I saw on BBB that they had a problem with reimbursing people for reviews so they may not be accurate.

They are a joke! Don’t believe their fake advertising, phony warranty, and lies and excuse. They only want your money and service you will never get. I called about my microwave going out. They asked me to pay the 65.00 road charge and they only approved $ 227.00 for the repair. I refused and the escalated to a team lead. She came back with an offer of $247.00 and said it was final. It took 2 months for choice home warranty to send 3 different repairman to inspect my refrigerator and then decline my claim (they went the repairman's recommendation that wasn't covered). 2 months without a refrigerator? Because that's the service we signed up for, the empty promises while taking our money. The year before it took a month and half to send someone out to inspect our ac in the middle of summer in Texas, again not supplying the customer service they said they would while taking our money.

CHOICE HOME WARRANTY is a fake company, They loot people around, I bought house insurance asking for specific part for my Air Conditioner if they cover, i have email confirmation that yes they cover, i then had a field technician from there company to my home to investigate and they deducted service charge, after that when we filed the claim they rejected it, giving all sorts of reasons which does not make any sense. I request people for stop buying insurance from them , so that fake companies like these will stop looting poor peoples money because its our hard earn money after all.

I made the mistake of "getting a quote" on Choice Home Warranty's website yesterday. I've gotten at least 4 calls since then: 2 from them and 2 from another company (Total Home Protection). When I asked them to remove me from their call list, they told me "of course, we'll stop calling you when you purchase out insurance". So if you can wait week+ for hot water, pool repair, plumbing issues just to have the company contracted to call and say after review we will t work with them and wait a few more days to have a company put in a claim to be told it’s not covered sure use this company.

This is the worse service and the biggest waste of money. They declined my claim based on the fact that the issue was caused by normal wear and tear so is not covered. Stay away from this and save your $40 + a month. This is flat out stealing. Almost a year making paymnets and first claim is declined not even a a good explanations. I call for service because my ac motor fan stopped, they send tech after the tech try to get the claim approved and get the part they send him back to take picture then denied the claim for blower wheel is damaged inside . I call the tech to show me pictures he said he just felt with hand . I call and check they advice a scoundrel openion tomorrow is day no 4 without AC in Las Vegas with temp of 106 ,, please fan motor is covered until now I don’t see the basis for denial will see tomorrow and will update after paying 3 years in advance first claim deny after taking my money for 4 houses what ashamed and scam when the tech told me he can fix motor fan for $1000 ... if I got any company will not exceed $450 with part

Customer service and claim management services are the worst. The technical they hire comes after 3 days, they also change the appointment at the last moment. Repaired my refrigerator 3 times and could not fix it. When you call the claims manager she won't return your call or email. Customer service team will not able to help they will just escalate the issue. But this does not help. So be aware of this before you want to sign with Choice Home Warranty. I won't recommend them.

Choice home warranty worse company to deal with run as fast as you can from this company they promise you the world but then they screw you over on the big ticketed items like your a/c and other things I called them to fix my stove they sent out Tec on 4 different occasions never got fixed 8 weeks later I’m still buying out it cost me over 3,000 in ordering out but they can’t help me to replace my stove witch I was promised and just found out they out right lied to me sprung run fast

Choice home warranty is a big scam. They will deny your claim for any major repair. They will find something in the fine print of the contract to say it will not be covered and you are on your own. I will not be renewing my policy and will discourage anyone who ask me about signing up with them. I definitely do not recommend this company. Make sure you read the many negative reviews before you consider buying. Try not to make the same mistake a lot of people including myself made.

I signed up for Choice Home warranty. Salesman talked very sweetly and signed up for 3 years on my 2 homes. I had 3 separate issues/claims with appliance after 45 days. But they denied all of them and I had to pay for all. Then I called to cancel the service and they charged $50 on each policy and prorated charges for ZERO service. Don't get scammed or cheated by these people.

This is a very bad company, actually it is a scam. First, they alway deny your claim. Then, when you call them and fight with them on the phone, they will said that they will provide 200, 300, or maximum 500 dollars to have you. And then when the money they pay for you even to your pay, they will deny your claim without any reason. I was a customer, and any time I think about my mistake to buy home warranty from this company, I always angry. Never buy anything from this company.

I signed for one year service and I called one time for plumber, and that the only time I called for service and the whole entire year , when he show up refuse to fix my kitchen faucet and my water filter all what he did he sneak one of the bathroom sink and he broke it in the same time and make me pay for it out of my pocket cash to him and he told me every thing els that is not cover I’m not sure why i pay far for one year for a home warranty and they can’t even cover or fix my kitchen sink or my water filter . never use choice warranty again

I called them to fix my water tank , handyman came and charge 75 dollar ，then left. I called choice home, manager told me my water tank problem not under warranty. They have some reason you never know before. This is bad company, without trust at all. You just waste money. They have very bad reviews. More than 50% complain from customers. Most likely you will be one of their victims.

I had them for last 1 year and recently water heater had water leakage and was told that it is irreparable since my tech coudl not replace the part rather stated to replace the unit. I called them on Sunday around 12PM and no tech came or call received until Monday 9 PM and i had to call my own tech to replace it since it further damaged by carpet and etc. Not recommending them at all. Stay away from this home warranty scammer.

Please don't waste your time with this company. Keep your money in your pocket. I have called for a A/C repair no one ever contacted us and we paid to have it repaired ourselves. Had a water pipe bust inside our house and we have plumbing coverage. Was told they have 24 to 48 hrs for a contractor to get the claim and schedule a repair, we had no water in the house. Once again we Paid to have it fixed. Very unsatisfied and never will recommend and canceling our coverage
