They keep changing the contractor even when the contractor is telling us they can get the parts then they want us to pay a separate fee for getting new contractors and they won’t approve the contractor to fix issues it’s been going on for over a month and now we have to leave town for cancer treatment and they want us to re-open a claim when we get back and pay again for them dropping the ball not us and when we reached out to customer service they were extremely rude and keep telling us that’s just how it is, this has been a extremely bad experience and do not recommend to anyone else.

Since it was determined the thermostat needed to be replaced, I wanted to install a new one that can be controlled remotely with me willing to pay the difference for the upgrade. I was told I can’t do that even though CHW would not have to spend a dime more!!

I am disappointed with choice home warranty. When I had to use it my tech could not get through to them to get the ok to repair my garage door opener. The phone would ring and then hang up he tried five or six times then called me and I tried calling and was hung up on too so I told him to go ahead and fix the garage door opener and I would file a claim but when I called and finally got a hold of customer service they told me I would not get my money back.

My claim for a replacement of a hot water heater was denied because it was an 80 gallon tank and they only cover up to 75 gallon tank . I’m not asking for an 80 gallon tank. I’m asking g for a 50 gallon tank, which would be less. I’m not asking to go outside the policy limit. The leaking hot water tank was installed when the house was built and I did not have a choice. As far as I know, an 80 unit tank leaks the same as a 75 unit tank; the only difference is 5 gallons and I’m asking to be replaced with much less than the policy limit.

My technician was wonderful and I would use him again or recommend him to anyone. Unfortunately, Choice did nothing to help except make the introduction. In fact, Choice has been a huge headache with regard to everything. As a Realtor, I'd think Choice would do whatever they could to impress, considering I could be a source of additional business. Choice cares only about collecting their premiums and dodging any financial responsibility in any way possible. One of my technicians recommended American Home Shield!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a home warranty company. I was informed that each claim will take two visits before the issue is resolved. For my first claim, I will now be taking three days off work to ensure I am here for the 4-hour window that provides me for the service call. Even though I purchased the most expensive warranty from Choice, and the plan stated, “all parts and service are covered,” it’s not after several calls still no help or resolution. The service company that came to the house to diagnose the problem was great and explained the needed steps.

I have been with CHW for 5 and the service has been getting worse by the day. I recently filed a claim for a broken heating system it took them over a week to repair it and I live in a n extremely cold area with little kids. I even contacted management via email and no one acknowledged it! I definitely don’t recommend them you are better off saving your money and hiring your own technician

The agent Bryant did not quote me. The price that he charged me for it was supposed to be $49. After he went back and got me a discount. But he charged me $495. And we spoke a long time to make that clear. He did not say $495. So I have requested me a refund back to my account. It has caused me a lot of pain to pay those overdraft fees that was for the overdraft of $495. I have two $35 that I need to clear with the bank for the overdraft that he charged me. I am a very unsatisfied customer and. I am wanted my full refund back. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau

Choice wanted the plumber to cut into a structural are of my ceiling. Plumber said no they would not do that. So choice said they would not fix the area. Denied the claim and I had to pay 800 to get my plumbing fixed. It took over a month to get a plumber to even work on my flex pipe. Plumber was a good reputable plumber in my area that I trust.

Poor customer service, not making sure the customer is taken care of. Refrigerator went out person came out look at told me wht the issue was said he get with choice home warranty and let them know. Home warranty got bk with me and told me they would be issue me a Lowe's card for 984$ that's not enough to replace wht I have so I had to complain abt so they decided to go up to 1111.99 again that want replace wht I have and top of that the funds want b available until January 6, 2024 and they came out abt Refrigerator November 30, 2023.

According to contract with CHW "'Upon request for service, We will begin contacting Service Provider(s) within 4 hours. You will receive the name, phone number, and appointment date and time upon acceptance of the request by a Service Provider. In some circumstances, it could take more than 48 hours for a Service Provider to accept the request." In my case it takes more than 24 DAYS!!!!! Reimbursement process not working with CHW, I contacted multiple HVAC companies and all of them agree to fix my Heating system, but refuse to work with CHW. Conclusion: Do not deal with Choice Home Warranty
