And still waiting for AC installation because of very poor communication between Choice Home Warranty and installation company plus irresponsibility On my property I have two senior citizens living without AC already for 15 days. They are great for paying the small claims - disposal, but do not cover the large items. We had a AC unit that went bad. They said that because the line had been contaminated, they would not cover it. That is a scam. The system had NEVER been worked on - how could the contamination got inside the line. Even the repair people they send out speak very poorly of this company. I will NEVER, NEVER do business with them again. Took my money and ran.

The company used by Choice Home Warranty should be fired. They never came to the The repair tech. never came to my house on the first appt. day. It took 12 days for them to call me back to fix my dryer and called at 12 noon of the day they wanted to come to do the repair (7/10). I told them that I installed the part that was mailed to my house and didn't need their assistances. I hope this company did not request payment from Choice for doing the repair. If I had waited for them to do the repair, it would have been 22 days from my request. Choice should never use this company again

I had good service up until the past time. My AC was out. The young man came and looked at it not real sure what he did. He turned it on. He left and it ran for like 10 minutes. I didn’t need it for the next couple days cause it wasn’t that hot and when I went to turn it back on it’s not working again. I have an appointment set up for next week but now you’re telling me that I have to pay the $85 again I paid $85 and didn’t even work so now I’ve been living in this house in my seat with these dogs. I am a senior it’s hard to be in the heat. .

) I don't like this company because what they promised me when I bought this insurance they told me that they were going to fix it for me but not the technician wanted to charge me $ 430.00 to fix it and I don't have that bone money everything they told me that company is a lie because I have to pay a lot of money he says that to make modifications that doesn't need to make modifications I just want them to be fixed for me no modifications because they say if we can't fix it for you we will replace it and that's not true that I don't recommend Choice Home Warranty

The sales team uses unethical bait & switch tactics. If you submit a claim they will either repair the item (after many weeks of waiting for multiple technician visits) or they will offer you a “cash out” settlement. Despite what the sales team will try and sell you on they DO NOT replace items and the cash out settlement will be a fraction (<50%) of what it will actually cost you to replace the item. Be prepared to pay a significant amount out of pocket if an item needs to be replaced. They will try to sell you on the idea that “all you have to pay is your service fee”. NOT TRUE!!

Awful customer service! Awful care for customer emergencies! AC broke down in 110 degree AZ weather, called for service and they had no-one available to service. Had to wait for 3 days before they approved me to find my own technician for a partial refund. I found a AC tech within minutes who arrived to service my AC unit immediately. Then I had to fill out a very long & detailed claim on-line reimbursement request to prove it was serviced and that I paid out of pocket. Never again will I use this company or refer it to anyone.

i just cancelled a 6 year policy because you they would not cover a bad electrical outlet that had loose arms due to normal wear and tear. The electrician told me it was due to normal wear and tear. The outlet is behind the stove which we never move so there is no way it was damaged which is why they said they were denying the claim. the electrican told them it wasn't due to damage. I hope they are happy to lose a customer over a $250 repair job.

Disappointed in the "replacement value" for my washer. The Lowe's gift card that was given in lieu of replacement was for at least $150 less than a comparable model at Lowe's, or even the cheapest same size washer. Plus I already spent $85 to have them come out to diagnose. I'd rather you fix it.

I don't like the fact my frig has been out for almost a month. The contractor hired says they ordered the part. Choice warranty, you guys have paid for the part BLINDLY, ahead of time without know anything about the inventory or if the part will ever come arrive. What am I supposed to do, wait and be without. Choice Warranty is supposed to be top rated. That's why I chose it. Now is the time to step up. MAKE THIS RIGHT!!!

You don't assign a technician right away, bur rather wait to have the homeowner find one. Then, you delay approving the repairs; and, the homeowner has to put the money up front to get the work done and then wait for reimbursement. Not how a home warranty service is supposed to work. We were with American Home Shield before - much better service and experience.

Choice is HORRIBLE!!! Every claim was a fight…every claim. One claim they say they even lost. The last and final issue we fought to replace a dishwasher since we had filed five claims…Choice even acknowledged that themselves. We had to pay a service fee every time and the techs that came out said it would fail again very soon. Choice would not pay to replace the dishwasher. Argued that it saved them money and they ultimately had the choice to do whatever they wanted. Find a company like American Home Shield who will take care of you problems and not fight you.

The bait and switch tactics. The lack of refunding as fast as they took payment. The sale rep hanging up and not canceling the policy that she sold to me just a minute before. The manager when ask to cancel policy came back on phone with yet another deal and not just canceling as I asked her to do. Will not use them and will expect my refund in full or will seek out regulators and make a complaint. It is too bad the how they try and sell and when they can't hang up.

I’m very dissatisfied with Choice Home Warranty. I was given incorrect information regarding my contract. When I became a member I was assured that my service calls would be $60.00, and the monthly cost would be $39.00. My last service call for the technician was $85.00, I was told from a very rude call center representative by the name of Neisha, that I would have to get a refund directly from the technician, they would not be involved. This was unacceptable for a value customer. My account #is 636726817.

Work order mot complete. Light fixture still nonfunctional. Choice Home Warranty says you won’t cover repair. Fine.. Nothing new. But responding company has not contacted us to pay for repair ourselves. This home service warranty is terminated this year. I have been a costumer for five or so years. And in all honesty I find no reason to continue Choice.

Had a recent claim on a Jenn air oven repair that was not covered by the company. I provided specific warranty information direct from Jenn air stating the unit was out of the two year warranty and Choice continued to argue that the unit was within the warranty period. I provided the original manufacture date and my installation date to no avail. I am very dissapointed that with all the leg work on my end the claim was not honored had to pay a repair company to fix the oven.
