So far I'm not impressed with Choice. Firstly, they had 2 different repair people coming to my house, then changed it to one. The repairman was fine. Then I received an email telling me Choice is "replacing" my microwave with one of equal value and features for a measly $191 !! I don't think so.! Have you looked at over-the-range-microwave prices lately? They START at $300 ! You're going to get a LOT of bad press from me, folks. You need to up your game and start acting like you're in the 21st century!

Requesting my policy be cancelled within the first 10 minutes due to poor customer service. Had a woman call and try and pressure me in paying in full for the warranty, even after telling her no thank you. She kept pushing and when I said no, AGAIN, she said thanks in a snotty tone and hung up. Then when I called to speak to a supervisor, the gentleman who answered was just as curt. I don't do bad customer service.

1 star on the rating above is far too generous. During 4+ years paying these people I've had 5 claims. 1 of the claims was handled properly and 1 I had to argue with them until they finally approved. This last claim was denied after I got the parts needed and all I needed them to cover was labor. So I do not advise anyone to set themselves up for a costly disaster.

I have had Terrible experiences with Choice on every claim throughout the years. They don’t cover glass top stoves. They gave me less than half the cost to replace my washer. My refrigerator was missing the serial number, so they denied the claim. Gave half the amount to replace my dishwasher. If you have nice appliances, choice will not repair them. They will only give you a fraction of what it takes to replace. I’m so thankful that my contract is almost over. I would even rate them a one. Also it takes 30 days or longer to get your claim money.

After many months of having a serviceman come to fix my refrigerator for the same problem and paying a charge each time for the same problem, I gave up turned in a claim. Now you have denied my claim and refuse to pay for a new fridge. your insurance is worthless. I have waisted my money and want to cancel my policy. Someone from your company called me and said they were emailing me a letter regarding this, and I never even got the letter.

Past two claims have been horrible as far as service. So many technicians complain about your requirements for them that are not fair to your clients. This last claim has made me decide to go with another company. I know you can’t please everyone but at least be consistent with your follow up and stop trying to resolve issues that has more than one complaint. PICK UP THE PHONE AND HELP!!!!!!!!

They will do anything to deny a claim. My heating system (gas boiler) broke down. First they said it was caused by a power surge or outage and would not be covered. I have a Ting monitoring system by Whisker labs that shows that there was no outage or surge. Then they said it was caused by improper maintenance and would not be covered. I ended up paying a substantial amount out of pocket to have my heating system repaired.

I am totally unhappy with the service I am receiving from from Choice Warranty. I had my claim denied because Choice Warranty claims the part is still cover by the manufacturer’s warranty. The service engineer that came out was great. After the engineer contacted the manufacturer and verified that the part only has a two year warranty. I also contacted the company who installed the furnace and they also verified that the warranty for the part was expired. I am still waiting to be contacted by the claims manager.

Terrible first experience for both us the homeowner and the Arkey Locksmith business technician. Communicating with Choice warranty was extremely time-consuming and difficult. Hold times when transferred, and dropped calls, limited work authorized, and understanding verbal conversation was frustrating.

Stay away. Awful service. Actually, no service at all. Each time I had to beg. They hook you up with companies that usually have 1 star rating. You’ll be waiting for parts for months. In the end they will pay you small fraction of what your appliance costed you. Plus they’ll be dragging their feet with sending you a check. They paid $300 in my case for a broken fridge. $85 deductible plus I was paying $56 monthly. After 3 months of waiting my check got diminished to $132. So I got $47 in the end. Was it worth it ? You decide. Good luck !

Choice home warranty is a terrible company. They have almost no companies that will work with them in my area. I have placed 3 different claims with them and they have denied repair on each of them. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this company. We invested over $600 for nothing in return. That's money I could have used to repair the things they refused to repair. I will never use them again and will discourage others as well.

They have a prompt response rate, but after the waiting period for the repair person, they twice have said they cannot perform the repairs due to limitations. So I was out $68 for each visit and still had to do the repairs on my own.

You refused to pay for work that was recently done at my house under claim #151366009. The work that was supposed to be done was for removal of stoppage in my kitchen sink. The plumbing company had to clean out the clean out area outside the house to prevent/solve the problem. This is year 4 of my contract with Choice and I won't be renewing or recommending this company.

I paid $551 for this warranty only to have them give me only $246 for a new dishwasher! Ridiculous. What is the point of me paying all that money? And how does this entice me to renew? If they would have replaced it for a decent amount then I would renew but this was a waste of money

Very dissatisfied with urgent requests. Choice home warranty has not been able to expedite service calls to fix a hot water heater or repair a refrigerator that is not working. Repairs were scheduled out from 2 days to weeks. They have not “replaced” but rather said they will send 1/2 the value for replacement in a month.

Choice Warranty has crafty wording in their contract that allows them to offer a replacement value at an imaginary price that the customer has no access to. Therefore, they are NOT replacing my appliance they are offering me close to 50% of the value/cost of replacement and I am left in the position of having to Spend hundred of dollars to get a comparable appliance. Their explanation was scandalous. I can not recommend them after this experience and we have THREE policies with them for three of our properties.
