Never, never have I had such a negative experience. Choice Contractors make appointments and do not show. Make another appointment. Without a working refrigerator ONE MONTH!!! Cannot and will not help…they kick the van down the road. I have never dealt with a company that delivers NOTHING and provides no redress. My experience is Choice Home Warranty will not help no matter how long you have waited. No fridge for a month? That is unreasonable and inexplicable. BUYER BEWARE!!! BTW it is not amazing…prepare to raise your blood pressure

I have an air conditioner that quit blowing cold air. A company was finally found and about two weeks later it was fixed. But it wasn’t working in all the rooms. Called back and they sent Sears out and they don’t do Duct Work so we pay $85.00 for no help and I told the service rep I needed the ducts checked. I was in the Philippines at the time and my husband was home. I haven’t called back as yet to make another appointment because I got just got home and am sick.

This company strung me along for 2 1/2 weeks, not being able to find a technician to repair or replace our Garage door opener. I finally did the reimbursement only to find that they felt it was a preexisting problem which not one of the reps informed me and I spoke with MANY of them, including the one who took the information including dates. This was the time to inform me, saving many calls and anxiety as our garage door remain partially open the whole time and anyone could have gained access to our house upstairs. No one cares!

Before taking out this policy I spoke with an agent to confirm that our high end appliances in the kitchen would be covered. I was assured they would. We had a built in SubZero refrigerator which would cost $15,000-$18,000 to replace. We were offered a gift card for under a $1,000 to replace it. After reading the small print, we learned that Choice would not reimburse more than $3,000 for a refrigerator. We wrote a letter to your legal department a couple months ago requesting maximum reimbursement of $3,000. We still have not received an answer or compensation

So far VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I called because my air conditioning was acting up in Arizona (you know it’s hot) and they responded quickly with an emailed appointment but then the day before the appointment they rescheduled so today was the new appointment and I see that they emailed me last night to reschedule once again. Starting to see a pattern that makes me want to cancel!!!

I would this company a "0" but that is not an option here. I have had the worst experience with Choice Home Warranty. A member since April 2023. First and only claim submitted June 24 because of my plumbing and I am still no response today, September 20,2023 after so many calls, being directed to a case manager, talking to the contractor and customer service with a date for repairs and NOTHING!!!!! Completely negligent and irresponsible to their customers. I WOULD NEVER recommend this company to anyone. If there are reviews here with 3 stars or more, they are bought or robots!

Bad business operation and and lying business regarding coverage of Heating and air-conditioning that I have requested the service on 09/09/2023: This is normal use failure and breakdown on the air-conditioning blow motor and wheel, CHW said this is NOT coverage because Policy E5 - physical damage. I don't agree on their decision as this is normal use failure like Auto car coolant system. why you don't cover on this failure! This is real bad and lying business!! I do NOT recommend CHW at all!! Just wasting the membership fee!!

I’ve been a paying customer of choice home warranty. I’m so disappointed with their service. They avoid as much as they can. Their customer service reps, especially the case managers are absolutely horrible!!! They treated me like I’m an idiot. They refuse to review my contract with me. I was strictly limited to a 15 minute phone call. The resolution was simply that my claim was denied. Their suggestion was that I could pay for a new technician to come out to look at the problem but based on what I thought was the problem, that would be denied too! 😡

Worst customer service. I put in a request for my fridge over a month ago and still no resolution. Whenever I talk to anyone it's the same thing wait 24 hours. After 1 week of calling everyday, some one finally sent a message to the 3rd party vendor. Your customer service reps are rude and start talking over you. They are not empathetic. I have been having to eat out every day for over a month and that is expensive! No consideration to make things right. Horrible experience so far.

I paid the One Stop Heating Air technician the $75.00 service call fee. He then checked the outside unit and said that freon needed to be added. He indicated that he called Choice Warranty left a voicemail message, he waited ten minutes. The technician finally told me that he could wait any longer that go to another customer home and return later to put the freon into my system. He still did not give me his business card. The technician did have the courtesy to come to my front door to let me know that he was back. I was pretty upset that he was very unprofessional.

Very bad on claim determination!!!! My microwave can't be fixed as the discontinued part. Choice Home Warranty agrees to pay for the replacement of the whole piece at $191. However, the price of my microwave or a similar brand is $499 at Lowe's. I submitted the appeal, but the supervisor told me the Choice Home Warranty determines the price based on the WHOLESALE than retail. It doesn't make sense how can an individual get the wholesale price. I definitely will report this to BBB for help.

You lie about your service agreement, Save Thousands in repairs…BS! My condenser fan motor burnt up, I had to pay $475.00 (1/2)of the cost of the motor, on top of the $85 service. So I actually paid more then you. I’ve called several times about it, but all I get is “ oh well that’s what we pay “ I’ve ask for a manager got hung up on 2 times. Your service, your costumer service all sucks!!! I’ve told the last person I was going to the BBB about this… so what and then she hung up! I gave you a 1 because there is no zero

I am very hurt and disappointed with choice. Had 2 claims with them. The first one they never found a technician. The second one they denied and we had to pay out of pocket. After our warranty was paid in full. I honestly want my money and to go to another company. I was told that choice denies a lot. This is not okay especially for something broken that wasn't my fault. What is the point of a warranty if you have to pay $75, get denied, and pay hundreds for repairs?

It is horrible and I want a full refund! I’ve had a claim open since 8/16/23 and it still isn’t resolved. I have had 3 technicians out here and I was told I would hear something in 24-48 hours. It’s been a week! It’s been this was since August. I’ve received 3 different diagnosis. I won’t recommend you to anyone. My mom is having the same issue in with you guys. I’m requesting a full refund, please.
