Replacement Toilet Denied I pay for a PREMIUM choice policy to be told they deny the hair line fracture in my toilet tank.. I have been tryng to fix my toilet since August 12 to have a Choice Plumber not show up... To finally getting another plumber to be told by choice that they deny my hair line facture. My policy CLEARLY states it is covered... WHY are they DENYING ME?

Doesn't keep up the promise. AC stopped working. Reported a claim and confirmed that the technician will contact in 4 hrs. but technician scheduled an appointment for the next day. Called CHW and requested them to send immediate assistant since we have infant at home. They said it is upto the technician to come and perform the service. Totally dissapointed. Will need to look for a better company.

I call for service because my ac motor fan stopped, they send tech after the tech try to get the claim approved and get the part they send him back to take picture then denied the claim for blower wheel is damaged inside . I call the tech to show me pictures he said he just felt with hand . I call and check they advice a scoundrel openion tomorrow is day no 4 without AC in Las Vegas with temp of 106 ,, please fan motor is covered until now I don’t see the basis for denial will see tomorrow and will update after paying 3 years in advance first claim deny after taking my money for 4 houses what ashamed and scam when the tech told me he can fix motor fan for $1000 ... if I got any company will not exceed $450 with part

Customer service and claim management services are the worst. The technical they hire comes after 3 days, they also change the appointment at the last moment. Repaired my refrigerator 3 times and could not fix it. When you call the claims manager she won't return your call or email. Customer service team will not able to help they will just escalate the issue. But this does not help. So be aware of this before you want to sign with Choice Home Warranty. I won't recommend them.

Don't be fooled. If you see a company with as many 5 stars as 1 stars, chances are that the 5 starts were purchased. This company business practices are unprofessional and unethical. They will do their best to deny your claim. You will spend weeks dealing with them. They will offer 1/10 of a regular price reimbursement if you bring your own technician. STAY AWAY if you don't want many headaches.

Choice home warranty is a big scam. They will deny your claim for any major repair. They will find something in the fine print of the contract to say it will not be covered and you are on your own. I will not be renewing my policy and will discourage anyone who ask me about signing up with them. I definitely do not recommend this company. Make sure you read the many negative reviews before you consider buying. Try not to make the same mistake a lot of people including myself made.

I signed up for Choice Home warranty. Salesman talked very sweetly and signed up for 3 years on my 2 homes. I had 3 separate issues/claims with appliance after 45 days. But they denied all of them and I had to pay for all. Then I called to cancel the service and they charged $50 on each policy and prorated charges for ZERO service. Don't get scammed or cheated by these people.

This is a very bad company, actually it is a scam. First, they alway deny your claim. Then, when you call them and fight with them on the phone, they will said that they will provide 200, 300, or maximum 500 dollars to have you. And then when the money they pay for you even to your pay, they will deny your claim without any reason. I was a customer, and any time I think about my mistake to buy home warranty from this company, I always angry. Never buy anything from this company.

I called them to fix my water tank , handyman came and charge 75 dollar ,then left. I called choice home, manager told me my water tank problem not under warranty. They have some reason you never know before. This is bad company, without trust at all. You just waste money. They have very bad reviews. More than 50% complain from customers. I had them for last 1 year and recently water heater had water leakage and was told that it is irreparable since my tech coudl not replace the part rather stated to replace the unit. I called them on Sunday around 12PM and no tech came or call received until Monday 9 PM and i had to call my own tech to replace it since it further damaged by carpet and etc. Not recommending them at all. Stay away from this home warranty scammer.

Please don't waste your time with this company. Keep your money in your pocket. I have called for a A/C repair no one ever contacted us and we paid to have it repaired ourselves. Had a water pipe bust inside our house and we have plumbing coverage. Was told they have 24 to 48 hrs for a contractor to get the claim and schedule a repair, we had no water in the house. Once again we Paid to have it fixed. Very unsatisfied and never will recommend and canceling our coverage

I had problems with my refrigerator that started in June of this year. It took two weeks to get a technician out to attempt a repair. After three attempts at repairing the refrigerator it’s still not working. It’s now August and the refrigerator is still not working correctly. After talking to the rep for choice they will no longer pay for any repairs or replace the refrigerator. The reason given is that the item that’s broken isn’t covered under the warranty. I would consider going with another company if your looking for a home warranty.

Read their policy document before purchasing. Any major issues you claim for, chance are they are going to decline your claim. When my garbage disposal stopped, they denied saying it was due to some foreign object and is not covered. I fixed it by rotating it with simple tool. Now when the AC went off, they said its due to water damage and that is not covered per xx section of agreement. I wont recommend to go with this company.

If I could give them less than one star I would! My parent's refrigerator stopped working and they sent someone out, the repairman told them it was their compressor. When my father called Choice about them putting in another compressor they told him no, they would not pay for a new compressor because there was a hole in one of their hoses and that it put a strain on the compressor which caused the compressor to stop working. The repairman told my dad that is an out and out lie! He said, there was no hole in your hose they are trying to pull something over on you! Total crooks!

As of Tuesday, 2 business days later, I've had 11 calls from this company asking me to purchase additional coverage, extended my coverage beyond a year, or to purchase home security coverage, of which I say no everytime! Stay a way from these crooks there advertising is misleading and they don't do what say.They come up with every excuse in the book not to pay your claim.My a.c. unit went out and the tech could not believe how good of shape the unit was in for it's age.Choice told him to replace the compressor but do to the age there was non available. After they contacted me begging to take down the reviews for a full refund I agreed. several weeks later they said they issued a refund but I still have not received it so I'm renewing my reviews. This company is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. My only desire I now is to tell other people about my experience so they aren't taken advantage by this scam company. The service agent told me that I should contact SEARS myself to make arrangements....? Really. Still without an appointment, without working fridge, without resolve from CHW...

They do not like to pay claims larger than $100. We have filled two small claims in which they paid, but the parts were less than $100. There heat pump went out last summer and they denied the claim. We paid over $2k to fix. Then this summer we have an issue with the coil and they have denied it again. I requested an appeal and can't get details on how the appeal works and need my AC fixed.

I placed a claim on a AC not cooling. They denied the claim saying it's not covered because it's excluded from the coverage. They cover nothing . Their customer service reps were trained to scam people. They don't cover any of your appliances or any items. This isn't a home warranty company. It's a scam.They will get your money and don't help you out is any angle. I don't recommend this at all. I just hate rating them with one star rating. They don't even deserve one star. They deserve ZERO star.

A/C repair of 15 year old blower motor failure because of claim that filter was dirty, when if fact the service tech never removed the filter to inspect it , The filter had been in place for about one month. It was not dirty! Stay away from this company as they will do anything to deny a warranty claim. Of course a 15 year old blower motor will likely fail but they did not take that into consideration if their hast to grasp at anything to deny warranty repair. They bought in multiple service groups until they got one that would agree to claim improper user maintenance.

I would give zero rating If there is a zero available. I purchased two 3 year contracts for two properties. I had two claims, one was for water heater and the other was for ac condenser. CHW denied both claims. For water heater they denied because of the tank leak (it was due to the age of the tank, but they don’t care); for ac unit, they said because of the electrical current caused unit overheated, they denied the claim (according to my ac technician, the old ac unit has this type of problem).

I called about a water heater that was not working correctly . Long story short choice sent out 3 different plumbers. Parts where sent and installed , I found out later the parts didn’t even belong on the water heater . The left me with a heater that now doesn’t work at all since the pilot assembly was completely taken apart. I had to pay 1175.00 for a new one . Don’t do business with this shady fly by night company if you value your money, there crooks !

ZERO STARS! The absolute WORST. Every claim I submitted was denied! The customer service agents are the bottom barrel. It sounds like you are speaking to a prison release work program. The last straw? They couldn’t find the parts to repair my microwave oven. They come back and deny the claim saying that I abused the machine, after they couldn’t locate the parts. I wish I had taken out a warranty against being ripped off. And the irony? When they called me, it would show up on Caller ID as “Scam Likely!”

Choice Home Warranty took my money for a year. I submitted my first for a hot water heater. They denied the claim stating they exclude covering tanks. What more is a hot water heater than a tank? Their customer service offered me $250, which they renege on. All this company does is lie, double talk and state there are no supervisors to talk to. Anyone else in my shoes should make it a mission to put this company out of business. If I could give Choice a no star rating, I would.

I have had two claims. The first was a leaking water heater. The tech said it was operating ok even though the water heater it's self was leaking. Denied. The second claim was an A/C compressor that locked up. The tech said it wasn't serviced. I have a continuing service contract with the most reputable company in the Phoenix area! Also denied. I have been trying to cancel my prepaid contract for an entire month to no avail!!!

My AC condenser unit had been working fine for six years since house was bought . Unit was 8-10 yrs. Old . The compressor leaked fluid and burnt up. Choice warranty refused to pay for it because they said it was not normal for the compressor to go out unless I did something to cause it . Beware of using Choice and don't count on them paying for a major breakdown !!!!!

Once again my claim was denied due to “rust or corrosion/build up which are all a result of “time” not neglect on part of the home owner. My claim for a garbage disposal, an air conditioning unit and a cast iron vent pipe were all denied for same reason. Shame on you CHW you advertising that you are there for “Protection “, but your only goal is creed and deception

Choice Home Warranty deserves 0 stars! I filed a claim on our refrigerator not working. They sent a technician out about a week later. They said they had to order the part. After complaining numerous times about days going by in the 95 degree weather with small children they said as soon as the part comes in they will send someone out to fix it. Two weeks later the part came in. I called asap and they said now you owe us money so we can't help you until you make a payment. We fixed it ourselves and cancelled them. Worst service ever!

I went online to check I'm Choice Home Warranty just as I completed entering my data I received a phone call from one of their sales reps who went through a sales pitch and when I said I wanted to wait until my home closed in a few days he then became very rude and said I had been saying okay all along and what's wrong here. VERY rude I hung up on him.
