I have been having issues with corrupt communication. I am not a satisfied customer. Long wait times and no superior call backs as promised. I will be searching for other home warranty coverage where the customer is appreciated. I will not be referring others to Choice Warranty because of my terrible experiences. I just want fair and accurate service. I will be cancelling your service.

I waited and called for 12 days before they assigned me to a technician. (COVID) I would rate less than one if I could. Choice is inaccessible, and you have no recourse if you think they are wrong. I have been denied coverage for what is clearly a covered item according to their booklet. And they cited their booklet as the reason for denial. The customer service person assigned to my claim just stopped communicating when I refused to accept their incorrect determination. Now they tell me my claim is closed

We were happy to hear they would give us cash to replace our washer instead of repairing it. Unfortunately they did not give us enough to cover a washer tho. They have us 299 but the cheapest washer you can buy is 450 at home depot and lowes.

I had a technician show up to fix my garage door opener and they said it was denied because the spring was broken and they don’t cover broken springs. The question posed by the tech was that the spring may have broken after the opener seized. It WS like what came first, the chicken or the egg? This company does not stand behind their words. They are a bait and switch company. You may not use your preferred technicians for repairs as stated by salesmen. They do not replace anything at their value, as stated by salesmen, and they do not cover most repairs.

The contractor who was picked did a great job and that was the only thing that went well. We had to wait over a month for Choice Home Warranty to assign someone to fix our shower. The only explanation that was given for how long it took was that Covid is causing a delay and that if we want to take the reimbursement option we can do that but it will take over 30 days for you to be reimbursed so that wasn't an option. When I asked the contractor if they were a month behind on orders they said no they are completing most orders the same day they get them. Hopefully my next claim goes smoother...

If I could pick 'No stars at all", for Choice Home Warranty, I would. The technician that was sent 3 months after my initial request for service from Choice Home Warranty was very good, but he was only sent after I was saying I was going to contact my state Attorney General. I've learned hat technicians in my area don't like working with Choice Home Warranty. I don't either.

choice of how to pay was nice liked that dislike is amount of time it took to get service and amount you have to pay for service rendered when your add says don't pay for appliance or repair again when you have to pay for other unnecessary things like removal of appliance or small fixtures that may be needed to replace appliance

The technician was prompt and efficient. He diagnosed the problem promptly and submitted the necessary repair to CHW for approval. That is where the process quickly fell short. The repair was turned down and it is impossible to reach someone. I did receive an email with a name and direct contact number. Still unable to get through. Dave Bradshaw

I received this warranty from my real estate agent. I submitted a claim for my ac. The technician didn't completely check my ac but he found a problem. He did not fix it. 2 weeks later something else broke on the ac. 2 weeks later. My ac went out. No repairs were made. I had to replace the ac myself. Awful company, bad service and it will cost you more to repair your home yourself after choice.

This place is a joke. We had to pay $1600 to get a compressor replaced because they wanted to loophole us and say proper maintenance would have avoided it. We haven’t even been in the house a year. Our AC is out of refrigerant and they denied our claim again stating that the previous company installed in wrong and it was our fault. We wouldn’t be in this situation had they honored the contract and covered the part like they were supposed to

This company will not help their customers. I have been without air since June 16. The company sent their tech out who told them my entire system needs to be replaced. They stated that he told them no failures were found. Later I hired two of my own tech to come out and they confirmed my entire unit needs to be replaced. I advise you stay away from this company. My technician arrived on time, did his inspection, submitted results to Choice Warranty and then had to wait for Choice Warranty’s email/contact approval to do the job. What I was told via online and phone call this would take TWO HOURS TO PROCESS BY CHOICE WARRANTY. IT TOOK NEARLY 8 hours!, This is unacceptable!

I hate this company and do not plan to renew my contract once its ended. They do not follow the recommendation of any of the techs that they send out to repair services. They deny and send back info that is contrary to what the service tech had recommended. Two claims and all denied base on what Choice feels. Very very disappointed and dissatisfied. I have a appealed my case and will take them to court if necessary because I have no power and they deny fixing my breaker box.

Made a claim for an air conditioner. Service person came out to look at it then sent in recommendation. It was immediately denied. Claim office read from a script and informed us that we needed a matinance plan for the warranty to be valid. When we asked about that we were told "oh we don't say anything about that when you sigh up"

I have been trying to get my washing machine fixed since May 28. Choice warranty keeps just telling me it's in their approval department and that I'll hear back within 24 but they never do. They do not honor their contract. They do everything in their power to avoid answering questions. I call to talk with a supervisor and rarely get called back. No one seems to be able to directly contact the approval department to find out what the status is, they just say to call back and never do anything!

You suck. Repair person showed I paid for repair. You declined payment. When I purchasedEVERYTHING was covered. No not so much. I’m a developer currently building 350 homes an will make it my Mission to insure you get NO business from my clients and will advertise against you at every trade show I participate in. The waiting period for service is far too long. I'm finding out the reason nobody wants to work with you is because they have trouble getting things actually repaired with the proper parts or payment for the work they do for you. Not a good feeling when the repair people tell me these things. Also I've heard this from more than one contractor.

Its impossible to cancel choice home warranty even after the contract is expired. I contacted them over phone and as soon as i mentioned about cancelling the policy, they kept transferring me to various people, i was on phone for more than 1 hour and still could not cancel. They have started charging me eventhough my card information in the account is expired. Very poor customer service! Their website does not provide an option to cancel as well. Never buy a warranty which you cannot cancel easily. I am still trying to see if there is a way to cancel

The technician missed to appointments. He called me today from Home Depot and asked what faucet that I wanted. I gave him the model number and Store SKU number and I told him I would pay the difference. He said he would call me and let me know. I never heard from him, so I tried to call him to see if he was coming and he would not answer his phone. Then I get an Email stating that my claim was reassigned. I paid him $85.00 in Cash and got no receipt. I am not happy with K&K plumbing repair. I've been without a kitchen faucet for 6 days now. I'm really not happy with his service.

I am not very happy that it takes the technician two trips to my house only because the A/C company has to wait hours for CHW to give the authorization to do the work. Then have to come back the next day to finish the job. Just crazy !! I have no idea why it says amazing on this but they are far from amazing.
