I like the turn around time. I dislike that I can pay a contractor the service fee and a couple weeks later, the same issue occurs and I have to turn around and pay another service fee. I’m also not too sure on what Choice Warranty covers when an issue occurs.

Placed 2 work orders. AC repair no problem. However, the ceiling fan repair has become a nightmare. The tech brought an AC 4 speed sign direction wall switch and receiver for a 6 speed Dual direction fan. I didn't work and now I'm being told I need a new fan. The tech shows me low grade ceiling fans that don't match what I have. He told me to look for one then so I contacted the seller of the fan was told it sounds like a bad receiver or the motor and a replacement fan would be around $500. Contact Choice and the said they are waiting on the tech. Going on a month now.

I liked the speed at which Choice identified the problem and found the solution. I did not like having to wait 20-30 days for the gift card to replace my refrigerator. I also would have preferred having a choice of where to buy instead of just Lowe’s.

I chose Choice Home Warranty for its low monthly price and after a claim is filed, they set up the repair with the technician or company. The only negative I can give is that it takes at least a week for a repairman to come and make the repair. I had to go without my washing machine for a week.

I like that I can place claims online, and do so quickly. Over the phone customer service is very good. It did take a week to get a refrigerator repairman at my house and three days for the air conditioning repair person.

I really can’t give a thumbs up because I have been without my refrigerator almost 3 weeks. All my food went bad and I’m struggling to keep medication that goes in the refrigerator acceptable to use. I don’t understand why it takes so long to recieve compensation for your trouble. The 59.00 a month goes out of my account and it’s never late.

I have used Choice twice now: 1. Dishwasher - It took 5 visits to get the dishwasher fixed. I was not happy with the service organization chosen by Choice to fix it. It took an inordinate amount of time to fix a problem that should have taken two visits at the most. 2. Electrical Problem - This service organization was superb! They were prompt knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I thoroughly found them a pleasure to deal with. Definitely would recommend them.

My spouse and I are very disappointed with choice. They denied a claim for a leaking facet that became difficult to turn off or on advising that it was not normal wear. When we asked for the account to be closed as this was not the 1st denial they agreed to cover the cost of the repairs but advised because tge claim has been originally denied we'd need to pay the technician the fee for coming out again, so we were charged 3 fees due to the denial, 2 fees for the technician to come out and the technician charged a $55 trip fee to come out to do the repairs which he claimed he would not have charged if the claim had not been originally declined.

I liked the appliance guy Nik who came out for our garbage disposal he was pleasant, professional, extremely helpful and knowledgeable he was a joy to have and did an excellent job! The plumber was not professional or pleasant he got the job done but his attitude was below standard I would not want him again.. he didn’t even introduce himself and was supposed to send me a receipt and he never did this was on July 1 at 11:30 am..

I put in a claim for my oven and the company you chose never showed up. I canceled the claim and I'm canceling my contract. I have been without an oven for over 2 weeks and have called a repair man to fix it. You replaced my water heater and the tech you sent was great. Not so with Titan Appliance. They informed me that I was out of their area. I initially was scheduled for 6/26. Then they changed it to 7/2. I called Titan and Sammi scheduled me for 6/29. The tech never showed up and I called around 2. He called me back and said he was sorry he hadn't called and there was no reason for him to come out. I have spoken to Sammi a number of times; she was very helpful at first. I received an email from Choice yesterday 7/1 advising me that Titan would be out on 6//29 between 11 & 3 on 6/29 between 11 and 3. I am very disappointed with this service and I want my contract cancelled. I have called Choice numerous times and always get a recording -I want to speak to someone.

Depends on how they respond to your request. Could be worth it if enough stuff breaks down and what the cost of repair would be compared to the overall price of your membership plus the $75 service fee. I thought it was worth a try

In the past I have not had assistance getting claims approved and processed. Multiple occasions where my claim was rejected. My house is in a very rural area and there are no service companies that will work with your product because of your low payment. I have to get service and then get reimbursed, and I never get the full amount back. My latest claim the check has been lost in the mail for 6 weeks and I cannot get Choice to reissue.

I love this company. I purchased this program a few months ago and it is worth every penny. I had a problem with my furnace. I made a claim and within a few hours and had a response from a contractor and sey up appointment for the next day. It was great service.

While the service is convenient, when submitting a claim the company lacks the ability to convey the status of the technician from start to finish. I made a claim, paid my deductible and then the appointment that was set was cancelled. I called and called the office trying to get in touch with someone with no luck. Then a week later I get a text message out of the blue from a technician saying they would be at my house the next day. Horrible communication. Raggedy communication.

I don’t like the fact that I have to have a different contractor in here every time I make a call even if it’s for the same system. I had a parade of them a year or so ago for a problem with my downstairs commode, and the problem still isn’t fixed. As a matter fact it’s worse. We’re living with it because we don’t like the fact that I have to have strangers in our home EVERY TIME

Our issues have involved our HVAC system losing refrigerant. The previous contractors couldn't locate the problem. The contractor who visited in May found that a worn gauge was the reason we were losing our refrigerant. We have been waiting almost four weeks for the replacement gage. My husband called Choice to report our frustration, which resulted in the contractor calling to tell us that he had been busy, and the part was due to arrive on June 4th, so he would make sure that one was set aside for us; it's a week later and he hasn't called back.

I explained to the cust. service rep. I worked 4 hours in the morning. She stated she put the information into the system and and I would receive an afternoon appt. The morning of my appt. I was called 5 minutes after 8 am that the tech would be at my home between 9 am to 11 am. I had to immediately drive back home. This caused me to miss important meetings with my college students. When the tech arrived, he sat in my driveway for over 30 minutes while on his phone. I went out to get his attention 3 times, only to be ignored. Upon changing the motor, the tech informed me the supplier failed to give him the screws to connect the new motor and he would have to come back the next day. I asked if he could not get screws from the Home Depot a mile away and he said no. I went with NO ac for at least a week. I missed work numerous days and was hospitalised due to the heat.

It takes too long for them to get a technician. I've been without my AC ever since May 16, 2025, and the technician hasn't come to repair it yet. I had to pay $100.00 for an ARS technician to come out for a service check, because Choice Home Warranty couldn't find a technician. When they finally got a technician, he just came out for a service call. He came back out several days later, but only to do a test on the unit, which only took 5 minutes, then he left. Later on in the week, I messaged him and he called me several hours later and said that he would be out to repair it this week; week of June 2, 2025, but I haven't heard anything from him yet. I live in a mobile home and without the AC unit working, it's been very miserable!!! This is the 3rd time within a year that I've had these issues with the AC, but Choice Home Warranty always send out a technician who only "bandages" the system, but never totally repairs the problem. Then, to top it off, I still have to pay money. I'm seriously thinking about looking for another home warranty company, because this here is for the birds!!!

I’ve had this warranty company for several years and have only had to utilize it a few times. As with all the home warranties I’ve had in the past, they are quick to take the payments, however they have their rules and requirements in order to benefit from coverage. They are as easy as any that I’ve worked with in the past. Sometimes they pay, sometimes they don’t.🤷🏼‍♀️

The plumbers they have been sending in the past 5 months, did not know anything on plumbing.! The very last plumber found what the problem was and reported it to CHW. On May 9, 2025. CHW contacted my husband and told him they have to decide if they are going to cover the problem. This plumbing issue has been going on since Dec 2024, to current. We can not use the bathroom at all for the past 5 months on June 9, 2025 it will be 6 months. We are having to use a bedside commode for solid waste.
