Ac went out I was told to find someone on my own because they didn’t have anyone in their network available, I found someone that charged $378 to fix AC that fix lasted 1 week, never got that $ back and AC broke again, I ended up getting new AC on my own them was told I would not end up getting my $378 back, I cancelled Choice, they will do everything to not pay, my wife has a lot of health issues and it got to 99 degrees inside house and of course I was doing everything I could for her and our comfort, apparently a lot of these “warranty co’s” are like that, don’t waste your money.

Truly dislike the amount of time it to receive a Lowe's gift certificate for my dryer in the amount of$ 335 on what planet can you buy a dryer for $335 I will have to put money to it then pay for installment then pay for removal so your mission statement is untrue that if you can't repair it choice home warranty will replace it not true your statement should say we partially replace any appliance you're untruthful and if I had read all your customers comments would have thought twice maybe even three times I would have never dealt with your BS company truly unsatisfied customer

I have been dealing with no air conditioning for the last 4 MONTHS while your company finds every possible way to delay covering a repair. I have called and emailed. I have sent copies of an estimate. Along with the bill I paid out of pocket and NOTHING! I have spoken with several supervisors and nothing has been done. My home has been in the 90s inside. Unacceptable! If only my service appointment moved as quickly as my payment for another year was processed. Not at all happy with this disregard of our issues.

Bad faith actors. Paid in full for 3 years. Forced to wait 30 days for policy to work. Called in for a service appointment. Sent someone out 13 days later (the promise is 24-48 hours for the tech to be in the home). Decided the issue was “pre-existing”. Warning to reader: anything installed in your home prior to the policy start date is at risk for “pre-existing”. Offered no assistance at all. Whatsoever. Wouldn’t offer complete refund despite the fact that they provided no value whatsoever. Do not buy from this fraudulent company.

My washer machine stopped working and Choice Home Warranty gave me a voucher for $343.00 to buy a washer machine. Be realistic, one can not purchase a washer machine for $343.00. I am a senior adult and I will have the cost of delivery and installing the washer machine. This company is very disappointed me big time. I would not recommend for anyone to enroll in the Choice Home Warranty.

Didn’t like the fact that my replacement part cost 170.00 Choice only authorized 70.00 towards the purchase of that replacement part. Paying 46.00 monthly then had to pay another 75.00 for dispatch and finally paid 110.00 for the part. This is unacceptable.

You sent me a technician, who was a nice guy and did a good job, but he showed up in his personal vehicle and I had to pay somebody over the phone in the Philippines. I don't feel comfortable with your cost saving methods. You are not what you advertised. Then you found a way to not cover one of my issues. just like all the other companies.

Not sure who is giving CHW a 5 stars. As a contractor here in Arizona, We have worked for CHW for the entire 2022 and they did not pay us for our approved invoices. They are keep giving us a run around, they put our account on hold and now after an entire year from the date of hold, they are still dragging their feet. These people are crooks. Stay away from them as a customer and as a contractor because they will steel money from you. Now you know.

I am disappointed with the amount of money we've had to spend out of pocket to get items replaced. The first item was a new air conditioner unit. The new unit that was installed cost us $800 out of pocket and is rated the most least efficient. The second item was a dishwasher which had to be replaced and it cost us more than $400 out of pocket. I expected Choice Home Warranty to pay more for these items than they did. Very disappointed. I would not recommend Choice Home Warrant to anyone.

Literally signed up today and called to ask a question and the gentlemen answering the customer service line should consider a different line of work NOT on the phone. His tone of voice was incredibly rude and before I could even say why I was calling I was cut off in the middle of my sentence with an exasperated address? Address?! Ew. Really? I just signed up and that’s the bs I have to encounter on the phone? Yea no thanks I will be calling first thing in the morning and cancelling this policy immediately.

This company is a SCAM! Purchased this home warranty thinking I would be covered in case something went out. My A/C went out. First time filing a claim and it was DENIED! They made up some bull crap excuse on why it’s not covered. This company will happily take your money but once you file a claim they will do whatever they can to deny it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the case managers get a bonus for making sure you the customer gets denied. No point in paying for something I can’t use. Canceled it right away!

My A/C unit went out on July 1st. It took a week for a technician to come out and find out the problem. Once they identified the problem they have to order the parts. They’re coming out on July 12th to fix it. We’ve had 90 degree heat during this time with no a/c. That’s unexceptable in my book. Not the first time I’ve had this happen either.

I am unsatisfied as a CHW customer. I have made 4 claims since i signed up and all 4 have been consistently lengthy in getting resolved. Never have been resolved in less that 2 weeks and has taken over 5 weeks. when technicians show up one said they never pay them for their service and another said they would not be returning as they do not pay and was having to threaten to get a lawyer to get their money. Made me not want to trust the company to re-imburse me if i hired my own technician after waiting for weeks to get service,.

It appears that the claims are reviewed to look for denials vs coverage. The denial reason is not relative to the present claim that I made and the verbiage of the language is not clear. One pays timely and is loyal to the company, but it is disappointing to see that the claims representatives are trained to look for denials and not to help the customer's needs. The technician that came to my home was professional. He presented the findings to the company and Choice Home Warranty's claims rep was the one that IMMEDIATELY made the determination to deny.
