I've had it a few years before and I loved them. I used my warranty on my dishwasher and my refrigerator these last couple of weeks and it was excellent. Took a little longer to get the repair guy for the refrigerator, but the first day I got the one for the dishwasher. It'd say it's pretty darn good. I think the service fees went up a lot, but it's comparible to most other companies.

The customer service people are friendly, helpful, understands the issues. I used my warranty when my AC wasn't working. The service provider came out, and it took a while to figure out the problem. He needed to order a part and we had to wait a couple of days. The part came in, he scheduled an appointment to come back, and installed the circuit board. The air conditioning is working fine. He was very nice, polite, professional.

I had a problem with my GE cook top, the burners weren't lighting. They sent someone, it needed parts, the parts were ordered, took a while to come in, but then the gentleman did come back and repair it. Unfortunately somebody put the wrong part in the right box and that part needed to be reordered again and he had to come back again. But the nice part is you only pay the one year, I pay $65 every time my repair man comes, but you only have to pay that the one time.

They're pretty simple to deal with. You get a human being and not have to go through one of those message machine board things, you actually talk to a person. I needed them to come out and look at our refrigerator and they came out and looked at the refrigerator and they couldn't get the part and they sent me a gift certificate or a gift card for replacement.

My washing machine just stopped working. The door was locked saying it was not locking and and then it said something about like the motherboard failure or something. So I called you guys and had the tech come out and we paid our $85 and that was it. They totaled the washing machine because it would cost more to fix it. I have not gotten the check yet, but they gave us almost enough to buy a whole brand new washing machine. So it was definitely worth it.

I am a single home owner and one income household so I bought a 6 yr warranty when purchasing my new home. So far it has been a positive experience with my washer, humidifier being repaired. I am hoping it continues to be a positive experience. My only criticism would be the time it takes to get the repair done but each time I've had to wait for parts so that's not in their control. Overall I would highly recommend!

Our heater went out and we called and they assigned us a claim number right away. I think the very next day the company near us that was chosen to fix it called and set up an appointment. They came when they said they would and the unit had to be replaced and they came and put it in. It was just an easy process and they took care of it and we were very happy.

They contacted the repair company and they actually gave you choices, like if you had that company before and weren't satisfied with them they would resend them out. I just had them out for a dryer for choice. It's worse now than it was. I asked her if I could get a different technician and she said I had to ask the same company for the front tech.

Our garage door wouldn't open and I called in. I didn't know what was wrong with it, if it was the switch or what happened and I explained it to the lady, and she said that she would notify somebody on the website and see who will take the job. The person who took the job wasn't going to come for like 5 days. I said I need the garage like before that, so she did it again and then they came two days later.

They are very professional and prompt. The only thing was that it was a long wait time when you're calling on the phone. I had to wait between 45 minutes to an hour. Just last month they came out because my pipe busted in my house and it was over the weekend. I was able to turn off the water thing so that the water wouldn't be used, but they came out that first thing that Monday morning they were able to fix it.

Every time I've had an issue in my home, I've been able to communicate it to someone very quickly, whether it was in on the phone or online, and they had an appointment scheduled for me within 24 hours. I felt that they were very transparent when I was setting up my initial contract with both price, duration, available discounts and everything that was covered. Which made me pretty comfortable with deciding to use them to cover my home, especially being a first time home buyer in a new area.

The people that came out to check the refrigerator were very considerate and very businesslike. They were absolutely great. They tell me what to expect and I got a little note saying how much I would get. I thought I had to buy it at Lowe's and I guess I could have bought it anywhere because when I went to go get it at Lowe's, it hadn't gone through the system yet and so they said they would send me a check. So I was kind of surprised at how that happened, but it all worked out okay.

The repairmen that were sent from Lopez Complete Interiors were knowledgeable and friendly and worked very hard to get me some heat. Of all the repairman I have had in the last 2 months these were able to actually make it work. I will recommend them again the next time it breaks. I do not like the idea that I had multiple people from different companies out to fix the same machine and I had to pay the fee each time. You promote this service saying that you pay the $85 the first time and if it is not fixed, you don't have to pay it again until it is fixed. That is not so because my HVAC system has been not working for almost two months with several companies coming out and I paid the $85 each time. Also, when does a piece of equipment qualify as not fixable? After as many times that I had someone come out replacing the unit was never offered. When is is not fixable.

My air conditioning broke and it was just devastating to me to find out that, um, the outside portion was not covered. Everything was so smooth, timely, accurate with no problems, no hassle. My garage door stopped working and my car was stuck in the garage. They told me how to get it out and then they came that weekend and fixed it. They actually replaced the unit because the unit had failed and it was just a really good experience. The person cleaned up after himself, told me everything that he was getting ready to do, and it was just a good experience. The service I received was so good.

Two weeks ago a heater went out, it kind of cracked and water was leaking out of it. I did submit a claim and within 48 hours they sent somebody over to come and look at it. After the technician submitted a report, they opted to replace the water tank. Two weeks later it was replaced and we didn't have any kind of issues. No objections or any challenges.

Our central air conditioning system just quit. And it was in the middle of the summer in Central TX where it's awfully hot and we were turned over to a repair business.The first first one didn't respond, but they quickly sent another and they responded and came out and took care of the problem. It's almost the next day that they send somebody out to take care of my problem. I've had 2 ceiling fans, air conditioner, a refrigerator that had to be fixed. All I had to pay was the service to you. But on my hot water I had to pay $400.00 and I just didn't understand what that was for, I never did. They never told me. They just said that I owed $400.00 on top of my service fee.

I had seen the advertisements on TV and my husband was out of town and if anything went wrong while he was out of town, I was thinking I need somebody to come fix things. So if I am ever going to be a on my own, I need to have the man that I could count on or somebody to come and fix things I didn't want to. So I got thinking, I think I should do that because our appliances and things in the house had been several years old already, and I didn't want to get stuck with a broken appliance or air conditioner or whatever. And it's a good thing because we've had to have them out twice now for air conditioning. One was because of the power surge after the storm and the other one was a fan that went out. So we've been without air conditioning a couple times here this last 2 months. So we're very thankful to have home warranty be able to send somebody out to fix it.

I've had Choice Home Warranty since 2010 and love it. I can't say enough good things about this company. If something breaks down or needs a repair, I contact Choice Home directly on the website and explain my situation. Then, they contact a contractor to contact me for an appointment. If the appliance cannot be repaired, they will give you compensation for a new appliance for my choice to buy. I currently have the warranty through 2025 and only pay $45.00 for each service visit. I've never had any problems with this company and highly recommend.

I called to get my freezer fixed the door was not opening I had to wait and entire week for the person to come to.my house.thank God I have another freezer in my basement that I could use but had no ice because it was jamed resorted to bottled water for and entire week. But the did come out on Friday one week later and had to remove the door and remove object that was causing the problem and re install the door. I was glad all I had to pay was my service fee

I bought this about 5 years ago. They're pretty good to get ahold of and they've helped me over the years with claims. They usually respond the same day, but usually the appointment is out a bit. It may take a few days for the appointment to actually take place, which is inconvenient. The pepole that come out are capable. They're able to fix it or get quick approval from Choice to make the repairs. I have a fairy low deductable so it's not a big deal. Overall I've had a few disappointments with the repair groups that come in. The air conditioner was one of those situations where it was never diagnosed properly, so I had to go outside the warranty and have someone else fix it. I ended up paying several times over the course of several months. There are other times it was propt and for $45 I was able to get things repairs that would normally cost 3-4 times as much.

Choice Home Warranty is the best HW Co that we have used. they give fast, prompt service and repairs. I love tge option they have for Clsim reimbursement. If they cannot secure a company within so many hours to do you repair you have the option to choose your own company and pay them upfront and then CHW will refund you within 30 days minus your CHW deductible.

I've only used them once so far and they did very well. They walked me through what I actually needed to do. The experience turned out well. They were very professional, they checked everything they said the unit was in good shape everything was fine but they couldn't figure out what was going on, and I had put the vent on half for blowing out and that what was causing the problem so they went around the house and opened up all the vents and now it works properly. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

This warranty program is unbeatable! Up until a few weeks ago, I hadn't had to make a claim. So I really wasn't sure if it was going to be ok. But I had to make a claim because my refrigerator stopped working right. I made a claim online. They kept me updated every step of the way and in only a couple of days they sent a repairman who spent two hours here and had to replace a cooling fan. All I owed was the service fee, which I paid on my phone right then and there. It was the easiest transaction I have ever done. Don't be afraid to take out this program. It's the REAL DEAL!

I've had a Choice policy for about 4 years. I made claims on my washing machine, range, and toilet. All were accepted. The washer and toilet were repaired by competent professionals and have been working great ever since. My only charge was the l standard $85 fee, which is less than most diagnostic service calls. The range could not be repaired. I was given a lump sum to help with the purchase of a new range in the amount of about half of what it actually cost to replace. The range was 6 years old, so I was satisfied with settlement. I will continue to remain protected with Choice.

Recently my refrigerator went out and I scheduled someone to come out and take a look at it and it took a week for him. He had to order parts and two weeks later he showed up and put in the parts, but didn't test them and the following week it was out again so now I'm waiting on another company. They canceled the week after so now wait until next this next week coming up for them to show up. They need to have someone that could help walk you through because since they subcontract out to other companies to try to hold off and you can't speak to anybody from choice warranty about the problem that you're having and they don't call you back.

I would definitely recommend anybody to choice. I was in my home only a week and the heater went out and I did the online submission and they came out and and fixed it and took care of it within a couple of days for my sixty five dollars. They came right out and took care of it and I was so nervous being a new homeowner, so thankful that they were there to come in. My last experience with the replacement of a Dryer was not satisfactory. I was waiting for a check of $335.00 from Choice Home Warranty for more than one month and later result than I should be received a Coupon to be used as a gift card in a Lowe's store. I never realize than the transaction is going to be thru another company because my insurance contract was with Choice Home Warranty and for that reason I was waiting for a check and not for a coupon. I prefer the way to by any article in the store of my preference and not in a specify store designate by your company. That was not indicated in the contract when I begin with your insurance company many years ago and I never received notification of this issue during that time. This was a mess in my home without a dryer for more than six weeks and my wife asking every day about this issue.

I got a good deal, a good price. At first they didn't send me people when they said they would. I had appointments and they didn't show up. But at the end it was a great experience, I had a great service and the technicians were excellent. When my heater was broken and the technician was excellent. Lately the AC broke down and they took almost a month to get the service, but the service was great.

I have filed three claims. It was easy to file they immediately responded and immediately found someone to come address my problem. I only had to pay a service fee of $75 instead of the entire repair bill. However of course replacing my upstairs air conditioning unit was more expensive but nothing compared to the full price. So far my choice warranty has already paid for itself.

Whether I went online to file a claim or I had to call in they always help me. They always help me make sure everything is spelled out right so the provider had the information that they needed. I had a new toilet installed had a handyman installed it. One of the screws he didn't tighten enough so it was leaking. I decided to file a claim so that a plumber could make sure that it was put on right. That's what I did and he came and he tightened the screw and then after that I did not have any problems with that toilet at all.

I did the claim online, which is very convenient not having to talk to a person. I just used my warranty for my microwave. The gentlemen came out and detected a sensor had burned. During the pandemic we had an issue with the light inside our refrigerator flickering on and off. We told Choice Home Warranty we were also having an issue with the ice machine. We had a gentleman come out that they sent, he took our deposit money and said he thought it was electrical. He left and never came back and he closed the warranty ticket. When we called Choice, they said that there was nothing else they could do with it, but it tureds out that there was a short from the wiring harness. That was after we bought a new refridgerator. Now that the pandemic has eased up, you seem to be back exactly where you were before with customer service, so we're staying with you. Everything else is absolutely perfect. Just recently, someone came out to address issues with our air conditioner. They were fast, efficient, and they explained everything.

They give me confidence. He did a wonderful job. I had problems with my water heater. The only problem I had is when I signed up I thought that was covering my whole water system. My house needs two water heaters and they only covered one, so I had to purchase a brand new one myself, and I was unhappy with that. They respond promptly to whatever problems I had. The prices are right and it seemed like the policy was holistic, that it covers a variety of things and it's pretty easy to read. I've had a very pleasant experience with the customer support I've spoken to and I really didn't have any follow up questions or any other concerns when I finished discussing with them. A time I needed to use my warranty was when my refrigerator was leaking and I called them and I scheduled an appointment, got a technician out, they went through and fixed the problem, at least they thought they did, but they had to come back. They came back without any problems at all and he found where the actual leak was, so there was multiple leaks and he found both of them.

I got Choice Home Warranty because it seems to have the best value for the price for what I needed from my home. My hot water heater wouldn't heat water anymore and so we called Choice, they sent a technician out. It was a relatively easy fix but I wouldn't have been able to figure it out otherwise and he was very pleasant, got it fixed. He was in and out in less than ten minutes and everything was fine. I have needed CHW services about 5 times. Most have been without any issues, but there have been a few challenges, all solvable but took some effort. Some specific info is buried in the many pages of the contract, and you need to read about specific problems when they arise, such as the statement about 90 day warranty on repairs, but there is only 30 days on the service fee, except for something such as workmanship. CHW has always been quick to respond with repair appt., not the case with many of the companies I looked at. very pleased with all repair companies except one, and we worked through that..

In the interaction that I have with the sales team and the contractors that they use everyone everything has been communicated clearly, in a time efficient manner and they have rectified the situation that I needed to resolve.
