It was very easy to file the claim online. The company that they dispatched out called me within that day and actually did a weekend visit without me even asking. They just came out on a weekend. The last couple of times the repair person came out, on both of the repairs and fixed it the first time. I didn't have to have someone come out for the second, third, or fourth time. It was fixed right away, in a timely manner.

Typically it's good, but I have had some times where things have taken months or things never got done. The last two times I used it, I got somebody out within a few days and they did a great job. It tends to vary from location to location, in a highly populated, dense area like Houston I've got a lot of service providers and I get quick responses, and I have a home over in Florida in a less densely populated area, and sometimes it takes quite a while to get someone if I get anyone to come out.

Every time we place an order they take it right away, and within a day or two we get the service, which is fantastic. The very first one that we did the first year, I think was our garbage disposal was out. They came in, put in a new one and since then it's working fine. Our faucet was clogged, and the hot water was not coming they came out and then flushed it out and since then it's been working fine. Very recently we got our garage frozen light that was flickering, they came in and fixed that one too.

They return calls and they have good follow up. I enjoyed talking to the men. They have really good supervisors that come out. First they fixed my leak, they had an excellent crew, and then I've got a second crew that I haven't met so I'm still trying to get in touch with them. It's been a month, so I'm ready to get my drywall and my installation back in.

We recently had an issue with our hot water heater and had a hard time getting a plumber in there to do the job. The pricing was crazy and I asked if I could bring in my own plumber and they said yes. I could pay a licensed registered plumber to go up front and they would reimburse them. And that went really well. They've been a great company to work with so far. They're always there to answer your questions and help you when you need it.

I did it all on the website. Just a few hours later I had a response back from them. So it was it was pretty quick and easy.I had a little incident where we needed parts and they sent the wrong parts, apparently to the wrong address, and they haven't been delivered yet. So I've I've been limping along without a washer for a couple weeks, but in the meantime, I went on vacation, so I can't really count that against them.

It's probably one of the best companies out there. I would recommend them. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Any problems that you have, they get into it with you and then they try to help you out the best way they can. Actually we had to use the warranty about two weeks ago for our garbage disposal. They sent out a company and they were able to fix the problem with no issues. And the only thing we had to pay was the deductible, which is nothing.

What I liked was the service Cosco Garage Door provided. The owner Mr, M & Son Malick are very nice and professional. Mr, M came evaluated the issue and mentioned he will need to order the part. maybe 1 day to get the part. he called the next day to replace it. Together as a team it was nice to see they work very well together!! I asked Malick if he could guide me in programing my new remote control for the garage, he guided me ..No Problem. I like the warranty company I like the way it handles its claims in a timely, organized fashion. I do not like the manufacture warranty policy that says if it’s covered under manufacture warranty home warranty will not cover it because manufacture warranty only covers the part I would gladly pay the money for the part to have the service done. Service is gonna be a lot of money but overall Choice Home Warranty is a very good warranty company

I had a great experience with their claims process. Each time I opened a claim, the responses were prompt, and I could easily talk to an agent who took thorough notes. Recently, I had issues with a microwave and a toilet, and both times service was quick and efficient. The plumbers they use do excellent work. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service!

My overall experience with Choice has been satisfactory. Actually, I have only had one really negative experience over the last couple of years working with them. That was when my heating unit need to be replaced. A very large expense which is the reason most people sign up for these type of services. The refused to pay and I had to come out of my pocket to cover that replacement. Actually, They did also try low balling me on replacing my dishwasher and I had to fight to get proper compensation. Getting someone out to do a repair has been good. Definitely saves me time and heart ache troubleshooting and attempting minor repairs. That alone gives me a positive out look on my experience with them. However, when it comes to an appliance replacement or major expense be prepared for a fight.

Heating and Air Conditiinibg and she moved us to Monday. Ruben and Omar arrived promptly and fixed it. We were thrilled. All three were professional, polite and competent. This is what I dislike. I wanted the same company who put the new unit in to comeback for the service call. With your current system it can’t be requested. Made fifteen calls to get that company out here. Second thing I had an entire AC system put in the Florida house. I got the written Warrenty for both the inside and outside units. I have requested these for the Texas house units I have not gotten it. The company that Choice sent was great. Adam was very good as were the installers. I have found CHOICE to be a good value.

I've been with them for quite a while, so it is a good value. The technician that recently came out was the best. He was excellent. So I rate the service very high. As far as being trustworthy is concerned, they did keep in touch and the appointment was kept and today I'm getting a follow up. They were very forthcoming and did everything that they could do to make sure that I received service.

The two incidents that I had over the past couple of months were positive ones. I was notified each day about what progress was being made and I was informed of the opportunity I had to get my own contractor if that would be necessary, but in both instances within the 48-day contract period for finding service, Choice was able to address the issue. So there was no need for me to go ahead and operate on my own, so to speak. I just had to pay for the initial service call, which was a reasonable amount less than I would have been charged had I gone out on my own and searched for a repair person.

Their website's good. When I go on there I can put a ticket request on the weekend when I have time if it's a non-emergency ticket. And by Monday afternoon, I get a call from somebody that they're coming, so know that they sent it out already and somebody's answered. I've always had a really fast response and I can't think of any time that I've ever had to resubmit a ticket. It works out pretty good and I'm not really an online person.

I took advantage of a multiyear contract and I thought it was super reasonable. I got answers to my questions right away and they were real flexible on getting me the service I needed. Had a A/C call on the property and the guy had to come back out so Choice left the the request for help open and I only had to pay for them to come back out the next day.

Basically it covers everything. It's not just one item, it's everything, so for a warranty on everything, it's a good deal. Calling and setting up the claim and getting someone to come over was all very easy and fast. Everything was done in a very reasonable, fast manner and there was nothing left to complain about it, though it was an easy repair.

Sometimes you have to wait until they can find someone to come to help you. I would assume it's because the people in the industry don't want to accept the fee that they're willing to pay for a call. So sometimes you've got a repair person that would come that is within 10 minutes of you and you've got somebody else coming that is driving half an hour or 45 minutes to get to your house. It just seems kind of silly to me that you have to wait. I waited a week for someone to come because they couldn't find anyone that would come. The people that they have gotten, finally, have been very acceptable, so I can't complain about the service, it just takes a lot longer than necessary sometimes to get help.

I would strongly encourage Choice to continue with the way they choose its vendors. Because I like the quality of the vendor and also I like the way things are handled. I don't know if you all have a phone app. I know I've put all my claims through a website, but I would think that if y'all can develop a recent phone app that would make things way easier because we can submit claims on the go. The biggest thing is to continue what y'all are doing. This is really good.

Every time I've needed to use it, eventually somebody came pretty quickly and evaluated it and made a decision about what needed to be done. Right now, my dishwasher is not working and so they told me that I would get a voucher. So I'm waiting on a voucher and I'm ready to purchase one now. But I'm kind of waiting on the voucher, and the voucher is only good for Lowe's, and I can't use it on anything else. So that means I gotta delay my desire to get a dishwasher until Choice decides to send the voucher.

Quite a long time ago, I was with American Home Shield and I was very dissatisfied with them and hesitated even getting another home warranty at all because I was so disgusted with how I was treated and the service and everything else about it. They gave me a great deal. The guy that came last time was excellent. The guy's name was Larry, and he actually owns the company. I called him because y'all told me that I could call him and find out if he could come earlier. The guy actually came that day and did the repair for me and he owns the company, so he's usually not one of the repair guys, but he came on his own and came that day and fixed the problem. So to me, that's excellent service right there. I really appreciated his work. And I even tried to give him extra money for coming and doing it and he wouldn't even take it.I know y'all have certain people that you go to, probably because y'all have a contract with them or whatever. But it seems like the smaller companies do better work for you. That's just my opinion because of the two that we've had service our stuff and they've done excellent work for us. We had a problem with our dishwasher. The first guy that they sent ordered all these parts and everything. Come to find out the dishwasher didn't need none of those parts. The third person that y'all sent out, he was from a small company, local. He solved the issue in one day after I'd been waiting for three weeks for the parts to come in. So whoever the third person that y'all had come, y'all should use them more often.

I signed up for I think a three-year plan and I'm thinking, oh my gosh, what did I do? But you don't know until you have to utilize the service. So I'd had it for a year and then I had an issue, and then I had such a good experience making the claim and getting it fixed. Whoever customer support was, they would e-mail me or text me. They said, we're still looking for someone - we haven't found someone in your area. So they kept me abreast. I didn't feel like I was in a vacuum waiting to hear from someone and wondering if they were doing anything.

They've been supplying us with quality suppliers and it's one call. You don't have to have a bunch of vendors. Those are one-call service, especially if you have multiple properties. We've had issues and they've resolved issues quickly. The only problem we've ever had is looking for an A/C person in the summer. Sometimes it's a little hard for somebody to respond to it. But they eventually do.

While I haven't had a lot of problems at my house, when I have called Choice Home Warranty, they have connected me with technicians who are skilled and honest. After the appointment was given to me, Mr. H called to make me aware of when he would approximately arrive. He arrived in a timely manner, listened patiently, examined the area within reason, resolved the issue, and inspected everything before he left. He also made sure that I could reach out to him if I had any other related issues.

Choice home warranty worked quickly to find a technician and dispatched him out to evaluate my air conditioning issues. The technician tested and discovered that my a/c compressor was bad and sent the findings to Choice. Choice quickly responded and had my a/c unit replaced and covered most of the expenses at a fraction of the cost to me. Now I have cold air-conditioning again and I didn't have to pay a huge Hvac fee.

Able to contact by phone a CHW representative within 15 minutes. 5 times faster than previous warranty company. Response time for CHW to identify and have service representative contact me was within 48 hrs. Service company arrived and fixed AC blower motor within the day of service. I’ve had another warranty provider HSA for nearly 10 years. I’m only sorry that I didn’t find CHW until recently. I now have 2 houses with CHW.

So far I’ve had to use my warranty twice. The 1st time perfect and smooth. Had a tech at my house the next day. The 2nd time the same thing. This time the tech and his company lack of response to me and Choice Home was terrible. Choice home asked me to give them 24-48 hours to contact them. After the 48 hours and nothing the reassigned my claim to another company, and told me I did not have to repay the come out fee since the other company didn’t complete the job. So far so good in my book. Handled things very professionally.

I had a bad experience with the company who came to look at my garage door opener. The gentleman had no idea what the issue was and told me there was nothing he could do. He then called his office and spoke with someone on the phone who said they would call Choice to see if they could make another visit which didn't make sense to me. He then asked for the service call fee. As he was leaving, he drove through a temporary opening in my fence that was waiting to be repaired and across my lawn! Soon after, I received an email stating that another work order had been put in with the same company. Needless to say, I cancelled that work order and stated that I never wanted that company dispatched to my residence.

This is the second claim I have filed. For this one, they scheduled an electrician the day I filed. That's great, however, I would have appreciated a phone call to confirm that was convenient for me. Luckily I was going to be home. If I had missed that email, what would have happened. I called the number immediately and asked if the technician was going to call when on his way. The man said he would tell him. I heard nothing. When the tech arrived, he said he did call. I never received anything. Come to find out he called my husband's cell. He was busy, didn't know who it was from, so didn't think it urgent. When he arrived, he replaced the burned outlet, but didn't have a cover. When you know the job is an outlet, I would think you would have all pieces of equipment available. So he left. When he didn't return, we called. He said he forgot his wallet and had to go home. He was kind, polite, but said the way the drywall was put in, it would be deepset. I had another outlet put replaced and didn't have that issue. I am happy no fire issues, but not real happy how it looks. The previous claim I made was for a broken DW. Despite them telling us they would replace it, they gave us very little money. I was able to get it increased by $100, but didn't come close to the cost of a new DW [and we didn't get the most expensive ones]. It was very frustrating and had to wait a long time for the e card from Lowes. Also, as a comparison shopper, I was frustrated that we were restricted to Lowe's only.

I like the price and coverage. They have been very responsive when we've had a claim and we've never had to wait very long at all. I was putting a new ceiling light in and I didn't have power all of a sudden for some reason so I put in the claim and they had a guy out within minutes. Probably about 30 minutes and he fixed the problem. But I've had another problem where he fixed the problem while creating another problem that he didn't know about. I've got to call Choice Warranty and tell them about that and see if we can get that problem solved.

When I bought the house they had a one year full coverage on it and I've just continued it because they've done fine. They're always responsive. Just a week and a half ago my refrigerator door wouldn't seal so the guys come out. The only drawback is they have to order the parts, so we still have to wait until that comes in and then they'll come back and get it taken care of.

I used my warranty for my garage door and a technician came out right away and repaired it. They were timely in getting my claim filed. I mean the only thing I would have to say is that I was put out quite a while for them to come and fix my problem. But then it ended up where the person that came out ended up coming out much sooner than what was anticipated. So it worked out.

They have been very good. We've had a couple different difficulties in the last four months and they have gotten to us and got it fixed and just like that, it was great. So the customers and the people that come out are very, very good. Our washing machine broke and the guy was out here the next day. He said it would be three to four days before the part came in and they could get it and he showed up within three days because they found a part at another store so that was very good and very fast.

I've used it twice recently. One was for my dishwasher and the other one was for my air conditioning unit and they were very efficient. The customer service responded very quickly and the technicians came out and kept their appointment. They were there when they said they would be there and got everything done very quickly. When we bought the house, the warranty was included in the closing costs and then we renewed it. The garbage disposal got to where it wasn't working right. They sent a guy out to look at it and he looked at it and he said that it needed to be replaced. That was on Friday. He was back Monday to replace it and he was very knowledgeable and just a great overall service experience.

They got the work done and they're reasonably priced. I've had to use them twice. The first time I had a warranty which basically says you can either replace it or repair it. They couldn't replace it or repair it. They just gave me half of the money of what it cost me, so I don't know which way that was. They are not very attentive to the problems that the customer is going through.

They're very attentive to whatever your needs are and any questions you have. They answer them and they also don't have a problem with trying to upsell you, which I think is a great characteristic to have for a company. I recently left Choice, believe it or not, to go with another company that had a better price and it was no comparison. I dumped them like two months after and went back to Choice for their quality of service. I just recently had to use it for my A/C unit. Originally Choice Warranty gave me like a two day lead time before the technician would be there, but they called me the same day and they came out and took care of the problem. They have a great network of technicians there. They're good at what they do.

They get right back to you and they make it easy for you to process the claim. I used my warranty to fix my dishwasher. I was contacted right away to have a service guy come out within 24 hours. My dishwasher needed a part replaced. They mailed it right out to me. The only downfall is service did not call me back to reschedule the part to be put back on so I've been waiting a little over a week on that side of it, which I'm not happy about, but as far as the initial serviceman coming out to diagnose it and order the part that went very speedy. But on the flip side, waiting for somebody to contact me to put the part that was delivered to my home, they've kind of fallen through on that part.

You all have been great. The problem has been with the service people. They are good at their jobs but this last time it took over a week to get an appointment. Then on the day of service, they cancelled with no real communication and no reason. This all done by text. Then it was another weak for them to come back. 20 minutes later he said it was unrepairable. It’s been 3 days and no word from sears. You have been communicative which I appreciate.

The door spring piece had broke and came off, so he drilled another hole in the door and put the spring back in, but the door is way too loose. I had him come back and check it, but he said it was supposed to be that way which it wasn’t before.

I don't like the fact that if you have an emergency situation that must be taken care of immediately and you cannot wait for the approved contractors to come out, that the company will not even consider paying at least what they would have paid to their approved contractors for a situation that was definitely a covered repair. There should be some reasonable accomodation. Other than this, I have been pleased with the other times I have used Choice Home Warranty.
