Basically, peace of mind and satisfied when it works the way it suppose to....very frustrating when it doesnt with all the loopholes to deny a claim with all the miniscule exclusions or when the service rep is marginal in advocating for me but instead uses the claim to get denied so they may get the bigger job with me.

Original plumber recommended a new pressure valve. You sent another plumber to check his assessment, I think it was a good idea,he said I did not need one now but because of age would need one later. So you would rather wait till I have the same problem

I’m disappointed in our warranty it didn’t cover our A/C $21,000.00 out of pocket and our refrigerator was an LG and you only cover half of it so we purchased a new GE refrigerator $2,000.00 out of pocket maybe we need to look for a new warranty?

Although CHW has the convience of a single contact to find service technicians, I am still unsure if there is an actual cost benefit for us. Also, I am also a bit unhappy how when an appliance needs to be replaced, the warranty does not cover the actual cost or the installation. Still deciding if we want to renew.

I paid for the extra roof coverage. When I had a leak they claimed it was an issue that was not covered by calling it more than it was. The time they came to fix the built-in microwave was good, but calling the company that came out directly to get a price for a service call for a microwave, I found out the service call would have been the same price. So no real benefit to a Choice warranty unless it is a large appliance that needs actual parts to be repaired, but then they would probably deny the claim.

We are very disappointed with the first claim, with our bathroom faucets repair. Sassaman Services was sent. Our faucets are worse than before they wererepaired. we They told me I had to call Delta for new faucets. Delta is sending replacement parts. Sassaman is supposed to return on April 22 to install. Sassaman Services has terrible reviews, and an "F" BBB rating. I'm afraid for them to do anymore repair work . If this is the quality of repair services we can expect from Choice Warranty. Want to cancel our warranty and get a refund from Choice Warranty. I have tried calling and a sending a message on their with no response. Sassasman Services have left our bathroom faucets worse than before the repairs. the first part of this message is not showing up on this message. We would appreciate a human calling us regarding this situation.

When you have a problem with a repair tech they send you, you expect that they will stand by you if service is not delivered. I tried calling over and over but you always end up in a recording to have you leave your number. I did leave my number several times but never got a call back. It is so frustrating not to be able to speak to a person when you're not getting the service you had purchased the Warranty for. For one service claim, I had 4 visits from the company that they had sent but, to no avail, they never fix the issue.

Pros: Fast response for an initial claim. Cons: not flexible options for replacement. Manager/claim specialist are never available to speak with. Their phone message is always full and can’t leave a message. Email address is not disclosed so there’s no way to communicate with a claim specialist

Undoubtably, the worst warranty company to date. Your add and contract, stipulates, plumbing lines must be in good working order on the date that the contract was purchased, ours was and much later became clogged, your advisement and our contract further states, you will unclog the line , repair or replace. it. Our kitchen sink line(pipe) remains, clogged, will not drain!" Your ads and contracts DONOT says, Choice Home Warranty, will attempt top UNCLOG the lines, rather you say, WILL REPAIR or REPLACE??????? The people (workers of Choice Home Warranty, that made the decision, NOT TO REPAIR and/or REPLACED our line, should be immediately, if not sooner, be fired/ dismissed. This fiormer customers, terminated our contract with Choice Home Warranty, due to the above mentioned decision. Exmerely Bad Company!"

So far we have been without a well functioning fridge for over SIX WEEKS . The initial response was good , the wait time was tolerable until the appointment , but the length of time to wait for back ordered parts was not ! ( we even had a part for a convection oven delivered by mistake .) We have contacted the contractor several times by phone and e-mail waiting for instructions . Luckily , friends and neighbors have stepped to make this less of a disaster .

The associate did not put my complete plumbing issue down. I ended up paying for one minor clogged sink and not the complete bathroom drainage issue. Tech could not address the whole issue due to this error. The problem is still there.

First two assigned techs were scheduled 6 and 8 days later instead of the 1-2 day turn around. Plus they were over 35 miles away from home instead of being closer. None of the first two techs returned my calls. Both were long distance calls. Customer service did not ask the make, model serial number of my GE dishwasher so the tech would know what he was dealing with. Luckily I contacted Nolan from Layer One Solutions explained the problem. Nolan was a first rate tech who explained the control panel problem.

I live in Alaska. In January I was on vocation and my garage had frozen pipes. Choice Home Warranty could not find a company in my area to fix the pipes so I had to have a company come from Anchorage and fix the frozen pipes that ended up bursting. Then the heater in the garage quit working. After fighting over the phone with Choice for several days they agreed to let me have the company that fixed the broken pipes fix the heater. This company was not on their list of companies that worked for them. Choice told me that they could not find a company that would respond to them asking for work needed done. I would not recommend this warranty company to anyone.

The first plumber you tried to set us up with told you from the beginning they were too far away. But you treated us like we had an appt. When they didn't show up we called and they told us what they told you. So we had to start over. The next one was far away too but they came out. You only paid for part and nothing else. So you got thousands of dollars but only paid $300. We will not be renewing.

When I first signed up for this program it was very different. I do not like how long it takes to get a claim assigned. I have one outstanding claim and I don't know what needs to be done to resolve it and my fridge is still broken. I am also upset that it states in the advertisements that they will "replace" the appliance if it is broken however what they will do is give you some amount that they feel that they can get your replacement appliance for and it is in no way an amount that you can get that appliance for. My washer died and was not able to be replaced it was top of the line and even had steam/sanitization setting on it but they gave me $470 dollars toward a new one. That did not in anyway pay for a new washer of equal type. That $470 was only after I argued that my washer was top of the line and had digital features etc. so they upgraded me to 470. Also what they fail to tell you is that when they give you the money it will be 25 days after you accept their offer and it will be given to you in some type of a e-voucher from Lowes. Now I don't know who they think wants to wait to get a washer that long but I have serious laundry to do. I was very unhappy with this situation I feel like they have misled the general public in regard to this.

Submitted two claims. One has been handled but the other one had to do with gas smell. First company refused to work with warranty and I wasn't notified by warranty company on why they hadn't showed up so I called servicer company and they said they notified you they would not be doing claim. A week later still no word on service so I just called local company to figure out gas smell and paid out of my pocket. I look at this as a failure for Choice Warranty and as a real estate agent I would not refer you.

The proper and most efficient fittings for repairing the plumbing leak were denied by Choice. I was quite disappointed a second rate method of repair was all CHW would approve. I paid the difference and this was after I had already paid the cost of a new water heater despite it being 18 years old and no longer acceptable to homeowner insurance carriers. I am searching for a different home warranty provider.

It's 2 stars this time because they were unable to find a company to fix my gas leak. They say they have over 12,000 or something like that companies but I couldn't get this done. The other jobs that needed repair at my house was done within a manner of days. I am just sooo disappointed, but I hope and pray that the reimbursement process goes through.

I had to file a claim for an ac repair. Due to the age of the unit it has to be completely replaced. Choice refused to cover the cost of the replacement and will not refund the money I paid for the warranty either. The company Choice sent said the replacement is strictly due to the fact that the parts for the unit aren't made anymore, but Choice claimed it was due to lack of maintenance on my part - which the technician said is NOT the case! I filed an appeal but was told their experts (in the appeals dept) "know what they are talking about". I have since had another company come out that agrred with the first tech - its not lack of maintenance, but the parts cant even be ordered anymore. I have filed a complaint with the state and contacted my local news. Would give zero stars if it were a possibility. DO NOT purchase a home warranty from Choice. It is a waste of money.

I much prefer filing claims on the website. The few times I had to call their customer service people had no sense of urgency to get the problem resolved. Once they assign a company/tech to your repair, they are very slow to respond, and communication is poor. Every time I have filed a claim it has taken a week or more and on more than one occasion the tech just showed up out of the blue. Luckily, I just happened to be home sick that day from work.

You guys are terrible as a company. I am starting to believe others, friends, neighbors, and loved ones that Choice Home Warranty is a scam, a horrible company. to be a customer with and that you scam and lie to get out of covering what is stated in your policy. Well I have to believe them. I had your company send someone to my home when I made complaints about the furnace/ac unit not working properly and the heat not heating the upstairs properly. Your company sent someone in an unmarked vehicle that only had a screwdriver with him. He looked at the unit and found minor things that a 2nd grader would find. When I call is company back to find out the findings they answered as a house cleaning company. A HOUSE CLEANING COMPANY! Yes you read that right that it was A HOUSE CLEANING COMPANY! I had 3 different HVAC companies and each one said that there was an issue with my system and with my duct work. I had to hire a company to repair, replace and install new duct work, vents and returns. This is coming out of my pockets, I am going to contact my lawyers and take legal actions against your company. I will show them my policy, what is supposed to be covered under the policy that I am paying for each year. You pulled a scam and now you are costing me more money. I am disabled and may even contact the American Disability Act to tell them what you are pulling on disabled people and most like senior citizens. would don't know better and trusted your company.
