I've had a microwave worked on, it needed a new board and it was replaced, although it took some time to get the board. The same thing with our oven, the display computer had to be replaced and same thing happened there. It just took a little time to get the parts. There are some things that I thought were covered that apparently were not, so I was declined in some repairs.

They get the qualified people out here to do what has to be done. Just recently I had a plumbing problem. The toilet was leaking. I wasn't sure if it was plugged up or if it needed a new ring or whatever. The fellow came out and after investigation he pulled the toilet and discovered the wax ring had gone bad and he was able to replace it on the spot and put the toilet back together. All the people that they send out here are very knowledgeable and have fixed my problems.

I've had two experiences with them and they they both were very good. So as of now, I'm pleased with them. I'm happy that I chose Choice as my warranty company. I had a refrigeration problem and when I called them and a couple hours later someone had been assigned to my claim and then someone from the office that the technician their office called me to let me know exactly when they would be coming. They called me back to say that they would be there on the 21st, between 8 and 3 or whatever. So the technicians came out, they did what they needed to do, and I was pleased.

I've used it twice and both times were very positive. The first gentleman came out and was very knowledgeable and repaired my furnace for me. Then there was a problem with the garage door opener and the gentleman came out and was very courteous and friendly and promised to come back and came back and made the repair. It's just been a very nice experience.

The people that have been sent out to us have been friendly, they have fixed the problems and we have been very satisfied. When my stove quit burning and went out and they had somebody up here within the next day or two and he fixed it and and we were glad, because it's hard to do without a stove to cook. They are very attentive to what you tell them and they make sure that you know what's going on and they send a tracking number and they just they make sure everything is going right.

Never had a problem. The people are considerate and work immediately to get help for you I have had garage door opener fixed, air conditioner, refrigerator, and electric dryer fixed. They did provide and answer to any questions or concerns and considered all aspects of it to make sure that everything would be handled. I needed it for the ice maker in my refrigerator and it had quit working. And the service tech that came out determined that it needed it was no longer repairable, so it needed to be replaced and was very efficient.

I needed to use my warranty a month ago because my refrigerator wasn't working properly and a technician was sent out immediately. I'm very pleased. I really like them. I use the online claim request and it's processed almost immediately. I get a response within a very reasonable amount of time. I had to use it recently because my toilet wouldn't refill so didn't know what was going on so I had to call and put in a request for a plumber. Everything has been excellent so far compared to other warranty companies that I've dealt within the past. Choice has been much better.

They were quick and prompt and caring. My refrigerator went out and my food spoiled, but they had someone out promptly who knew what was exactly wrong with the refrigerator, and ordered the part. The part took some time to get here, but when it did get here, the technicians were polite and they knew what they were doing and they were quick and they got the refrigerator running really well.

About 2 weeks ago I had electrical problem. I feel my claim out Sunday morning 2 Days laterTuesday y'all emailed me and told me y'all were having trouble finding an electrician. You'll send me an email telling me that if I found one the fill out a form. The time I confirmed the electrician to make the appointment and come out and see the problem. Y'all got a hold of another electrician and I already told him that I already had somebody I guess when they notify y'all y'all close the case. So therefore I did not get a chance to fill out their form to try to get some reimbursement back. Thank you Louise Wilson

*possible mismatch* So far I've had one claim and it was pretty smooth, but it took a long time for the actual service provider to show up to my house to take care of it. I think it was close to like 4 or 5 days. It's a little expensive up front cost-wise, but overall I think it'll be worth it. I like that it feels like I've prepaid and that I'm able to get a reduced service fee.

Customer service was good, but for instance, when I asked about things that might be covered, they just kind of deferred me to the technician that was sent out rather than kind of answering my question directly. I had number of kind of electrical issues including a bathroom fan that wasn't working and so I contacted Choice and they scheduled somebody to come out. The have a good quality of service of the technicians they sent out. The technician they sent was fantastic.

The hot water heater went out and they sent somebody out to figure about it and come to find out it was not broken. It's just needed to be relid and then my stove or my cook stove, the heating element went out and it turned out not to be the heating element but the the component that sets the temperature. Very timely and they seem to know what they were doing.

They're responsive when I speak to them and when I place my claim. I was given clear instructions. I used it just recently for a plumbing issue and contractor came out and he diagnosed the problem and then as as he was fixing it, he realized that there was more to it than he thought. So he let choice on warranty know and they still approved it. So I got the plumbing issue fixed very quickly. It is a good value for this price that I see.

The first time I tried to use them, I was having furnace problems and they were absolutely unable to come up with a service person to send out. They couldn't find one. This was during the holiday season and they ended up telling me I could pick one up myself and that they would honor my payment if I had to pay for it. So I was kind of unhappy that I had to do most of the work that time in order to get the furnace fixed. Since then they've been fine for any claims. The last time I needed to use it was for my garage door opener wasn't working and they found someone very quickly and he came out and did a great, a wonderful job to fix it. And there was absolutely no problems. I paid the amount that they wanted and they charged choice for the rest of it. So I was happy with it.

I had a problem with my refrigerator where the water was. When you push get water out of the refrigerator it just stopped working. They came out and they diagnosed it and they put a new switch in where the water comes out and there was a hose that was frozen and they defrosted it, putting the switch in. They put a new face panel on because the face panel was broken and they got it working and it's been working ever since perfectly.

Any interactions that I've had with the company itself have been good. I needed to use them for the dryer and the person that they sent out just couldn't do. He just kept changing the times and kept not showing up and then calling and saying you got hung up on another job. So we had ended up having to re-post it out for another contractor. Choice was fine. It was just that person that was not good. Any any other occasions, they've been fabulous. The people who've come out have been really good. It's easy to open the ticket an file a claim. It's certainly a good service to have and it's as as a general rule I'd say it's it's very positive.

My experience with choice customer service has been really good. The last time I needed to use my warranty was for my cieling fan and that that worked out perfect. But one time they could not find the right contractor to come out and take care of it something, so they told me to find the contractor and then I had to call them back to see if they were going to cover whatever the contractor does. That was a bitch and it shouldn't go like that.

I used it maybe 2 months ago on a microwave oven, just stopped functioning. The microwave is linked to the oven and both just stopped working. We filed a claim electronically and we got a call within the same day from a provider service provider. They were out within a couple of days, they ordered the part and took about a week to get it, but as soon as they received the part, they were right over here and it's functioning again. It was uneventful and met my expectations.

My microwave wasn't working right. I called in probably 6 or 8 weeks ago now and so Choice sent a repairmen out and he knew what he was doing. He was great. He figured out that I needed a new control panel in the microwave. I never heard anything from the company, so I'm still waiting to hear from them. I guess it's denied, I don't know. The microwave works sometimes. It's still just limping along.

You go through the prompts, you get a person, they take your claim or whatever you need, and then it's a fast, quick service. I'd rather talk to someone over the phone than use the website. The monthly payment is reasonable, but the $85 for them to come out is a little high. It has gone up because I first started with $35, then it was $40, then it went up to $45, $65 and now it's $85.

They were very nice when we had used them. We needed an ice maker in our refrigerator they came out immediately and looked at, they asked us if we wanted to go to someone we wanted and I said no. So they sent out the local guy. He came, looked at it, said yes it needs an ice maker and he went back to his shop, got one ordered it and the next day he came back and fixed it.

The heat stopped running and we wanted to get it repaired. We called Choice home warranty, they sent someone out to look at our furnace. Our furnace was 30 some years old, and he looked at it and he said this furnace needs to be replaced. He said it's old, you can't get parts for it. And then they sent that to a spokesman from the company and they arranged to deliver a furnace here.

They always have answered my questions if I needed them and that kind of stuff. I don't have a problem with them at all. I've used my warranty a good bit and they've always been okay with it. But one company has come out a couple of times. I don't really know that those people knew what they were doing or knew how to fix my freezer because it kept on giving me the same problem.

I've had parts that is repaired, and the process was, you just had to wait for parts sometimes and but when the parts came in, it got fixed. I had to replace a washing machine and Choice didn't give me much money towards it. It seemed like a little low number, but I guess it's fair in the long run. I used that money towards purchasing a new washing machine.

We're kind of beginners with it, new homeowners. So far it's been a positive experience. Most of the time you can't speak with somebody after the fact, it's more along the lines of leave a message and then you get an e-mail instead of a phone call back, so I'm always a big believer in talking to somebody live, having that human touch. I was out of town and during my absence, something happened to my water heater. It was leaking pretty excessively. I called within days, which I understood that they couldn't get out right away. They made an appointment, they sent a technician out. The technician was absolutely amazing. He talked me through the process. He told me what he was doing, explained every part of it. And he repaired it in no time at all. But he had difficulty with the tech support. So if I had an issue with anything it would be maybe the dev side, how their phones interface with the software.

I've used my warranty 3 times. I was reasonably satisfied with a couple of them, but the last time is the one time that I really had to have things explained to me. I've been taking care of my heating and air system, and they had to send someone out to evaluate it and they replaced some things in there. I can't blame Choice with the people that did the work. I think they misdiagnosed some of it and when they came back, we ended up needing some ductwork done and Choice doesn't take care of the entire ductwork, they only take care of the connections from the unit to the ductwork and I didn't realize that. So they left me in a bit of a bind because this past month we've had 9 degree and 15 degree weather and I was still without heat. But it was nothing they could do about that because that's the way their warranty's set up. I didn't know it didn't cover the ducts, it only covered a portion of it, so I was left holding the bag.

This past Christmas our heat pump went out and I did get a technician out here that night on Christmas Eve, so that worked out great. But then the same day, our kitchen sink stopped up and I waited a couple of days to see if we could get it unstopped ourselves because it was the holidays and very cold weather and we were not able to get it unstopped. So on the following Monday I submitted a claim and on Tuesday, got an e-mail back from them that they were not able to assign a service technician and there were steps that we could take if we wanted to hire our own and get reimbursement. So that's what we ended up doing and they have approved the reimbursement. I feel like it's overpriced. I mean, we have used it a lot, so we are getting our money's worth out of it, but I do feel like the warranty itself is overpriced and the co-pays are overpriced. If you're paying almost $500 for a year of warranty, your copay should probably be $25 or $30, not $75.

We had no heat and so I put in a request online. Actually, I forgot that we had the home warranty I was looking around to find somebody to come fix it and I said, "You know I think we got a home warranty, let me check." So I was gonna check and yep and then so I just followed the steps and did it online and they sent somebody out and the guy, he tried to fix it and he put in recommendation for it to be replaced. I was surprised most of the time, most insurance companies give this little blowback but replacement was approved pretty quick, like the same day. So I was very surprised.

It was very easy to do. I just wish that there was somebody that I could have spoke with and explained my situation instead of only having the online form. Besides that, everything has been perfect with it and I think I'm going to renew it when the time comes next year. I had to use it for a plumbing issue and I had a hard time getting a hold of contractor, but when I did get a hold of him, I had to reschedule and everything went well. He came to the house and he took care of everything that we needed so it went really well.

The few times that I have tried to contact them, they've always got somebody that's knowledgeable and we're be able to put in the request, submit your claim or whatever you need assistance with it. Maybe a week before Christmas, my not so bad bathroom had a sink leak and I called them and they got a plumber out less than 24 hours and got that repaired for me.

Choice is the best Home Warranty company I've ever used and I used two others before switching to Choice. They have sent only high quality companies/technicians to address problems that I've had. Only once, they couldn't find someone to assist me;however, Choice made the "find my own technician" reimbursement procedure easy. When claim is submitted, they begin working on addressing it quickly and keep you updated with the progression!

Great company. I was hesitant about the warranty, but Choice Warranty has done a great job. Not even a month ago I called them up. I had the issue with one of the faucets and they sent the plumber. He replaced it, no problem. So it was very fast, very efficient. Anytime I needed anything they take care of it, no questions, whether on weekends, on weekdays. They have a very good customer service.

They give the right estimate to both parties. When there was a plumbing issue at my tenant's home they came on right on time and they completed the work. I'm happy so far with them. I just go to the website, I put what the problem is and then send an e-mail and then I get a notification that is scheduled. A very simple process, you don't call anybody, you just go to the website view your account and you say what the problem is, you submitted and then you get an e-mail. And then you get one e-mail confirming that you have an appointment. Simple as that. You have to call back and reschedule if the time doesn't work, they automatically set the schedule without even talking to you.

I needed to get an AC repair done, and a dryer repair. I filed a claim online and then within 24 hours they schedule someone to come out. You'll get contacted from the company that will come out to do the service. Sometimes it takes a little longer than desired for them to get back to you. The are really good about scheduling maintenance people to come out, but when it comes to having conversations with customer service people, sometimes takes a while.

They didn't give me a hard time with making a claim. They didn't make me jump through a whole bunch of hoops and try to get me to get it serviced myself. They actually sent somebody. I needed to use my warranty for my refrigerator. It was collecting ice on the inside and I didn't know how to fix it. So I called and told them about it and they sent the guy over and he fixed it within half an hour. It's been good ever since. I am very grateful for that and I only had to pay these the $75.00 and that was it. I think it's fairly priced.

My hot water heater in my home rusted out on the bottom. They were able to get a company in. The company came and saw what was wrong with it. And then I just had to do the little approval and was able to get a brand new water heater and when they came in to replace the water heater, the company was clean and efficient. There's been several times where I've been denied claims and others where I've been offered full reimbursement for the work that needs to be done. It just seems like it depends on whoever you call and what day of the week it is. I think the network of professional tradespeople they have is outstanding. Unfortunately the salespeople don't get those high ratings. I've been a customer for ten years. When I was trying to do a renewal earlier this year and I was selling the property I only wanted A 1 year contract and they refused to do that. Now I have one property that's not choice and all the others that are because of the sales people.

I've just recently used Choice for my dryer. I contacted them and within a couple of days they had somebody out to me. He came, he was on time, he called me before he got there so I knew he was coming. He reviewed it, reached back out to Choice, Choice agreed to make the the repairs, he ordered the parts and they were back within maybe three days. The online system seems to work very well and they respond quickly to it.

I've got a claim in process right now for my AC and I submitted a claim and within the couple of hours Choice Home Warranty responded back with an appointment with the technician. And I've actually had a couple of issues with the technician today. Choice Home Warranty has been on top of it with getting in contact with them. They actually put me on hold and called the technician to figure out what the delay was instead of just saying, "oh, we'll let you know later." That was impressive.

I had to used my warranty for most recently for my refrigerator. The control for the ice maker and water was not working. The technician was very prompt he came out, he diagnosed it for the replacement parts and the follow up letting me know that the replacement part was on back order. Once the part came in, he called and came out immediately to correct it, to fix it. Their follow up and follow through has been right on time.

Choice responded to my request in less than 24hrs. The request application confused me when I tried to submit. I had cancelled service last month for my stove, so, I made a new request this month. I was not sure what to do when the ite gold me the new request triggered a "this request has already been submitted. So, I made a phone call and the problem was solved. We have a manufacturers warranty throught Samsung on abrand new fridge and tge ice maker stopped working and I was told the samsung authorized factory service center quit so they would not fix it and I would have to pay $1500 for a new ice maker even though it was under warranty so I call choice not only was it fixed in a few days I only paid $60.00 and tech who came out was awesome.

I just think that they need more live attendants. There's only so much you can do on a computer or on a voicemail and the wait time to get to someone with an issue and then it would be helpful to have somebody on the scheduling side more accessible. Most recently I called in and I was unable to get through to someone. I had to use a computer system to schedule it. On the phone you go through the prompts and I told them what was needed and they recorded it and I got an e-mail saying that someone would come out and they texted me the next day and they came out and they took care of it and that was that. It's been addressed and taken care of. Just a little bit of a challenge because there's no way to leave any additional comments, which would have been nice because I have a tenant with a newborn, I needed to find out about urgency or contact information for my tenant, etcetera.
