Overall this has been a positive experience. I was offered to choose and contact the repairman I wanted and once approved and repairs completed I was to submit my receipt for reimbursement. There is a small learning curve to the process as a new customer but they communicate frequently and help you to successfully submit a claim for reimbursement. I am glad that I purchased the Home Warranty through Choice Home Warranty and have already signed up for another year. It has only been a few days since submitting my request so the check hasn’t arrived but I am confident that this will work just as seamlessly. Their Customer Support was quick and professional and eased any concerns I had related to the company and its quality of service.

Although the phone tree was a little frustrating, I was very pleased with the service once I got to speak with a person. My claim ended up being split into two claims as I thought only the kitchen garbage disposal was involved, but it turned out that there was also a clog in the kitchen sink pipe (separate system.) That was a little annoying as the separate system required a 2nd claim and a 2nd deductible being paid prior to repair. Still, the service was prompt, the repairs were made quickly & efficiently once a technician was dispatched, and we have had no further problems. Overall, it was a completely satisfying experience.

I consider choice Home Warranty as health insurance for our house. In the course of its lifetime problems will arise and any of them particularly with major systems, can put a major impact on your enjoyment of it. I was pleased that how accessible he claims process is, both online and over the phone. The follow-up, immediately before the repair, and following, provided the assurance that the company is as interested in a satisfactory resolution as we were. Our claim was on a plumbing issue which prevented the use of our master bedroom shower. Wade plumbing services responded very quickly and were a delight to work with. They didn't stop until they repair the problem to our full satisfaction. I recommend Choice Home Warranty, not only to homeowners, but to home Sellers and Realtors as an added bonus to the sale of their home.

We had a lot of issues with our water heater in our apartment, and it took a while for a service person to get out there. I guess there's not many in our area. And so for a while, we went without heat and we went without hot water for like a week or 2, completely unacceptable. And we had 2 or 3 different plumbers tell us we needed our water heater replaced but Choice Home Warranty kept saying no. When finally they did say yes to one of the service people, they charged this extra $420 to replace our water heater on top of the $65 of the service call which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. There was another home warranty I had in the past where when we had to replace our water heater, it only cost the service call and not the rest of that money.

Anytime I've had any problems or anything with the service company not coming out Choice Home Warranty always made sure that everything was corrected. I've had 3 or 4 times I had to use it without any problems. Someone would always come out and fix whatever it is with no problems. The only problem that I have ever had was really my fault because I didn't know that I had a lifetime warranty on my faucet. And so, they made sure that I had the right numbers and all that stuff to call Molar to get the product for them to come out and install.

I've had several things that I needed help with, and they were fine. I had no problem with getting help. The most recent time was when I had a nest on my furnace control in my air conditioner. I couldn't get it to work. I called and it was only 2 days and the gentleman came in and fixed it probably in half an hour. So I was very pleased. The time before that, they replaced a microwave, and that was fine. I have no complaints.

Just a couple of weeks ago, we had a leak and they couldn't find a plumber, so they told me to go find a plumber and I did and I submitted the claim. Now I'm waiting to get paid. I just had another claim for another leak in another part of the house and they assigned a plumber. So I'm waiting to see that plumber as well. So far, they've been responsive and I have no problem.

They were knowledgeable and friendly. I have found it to be a huge money saver for us. The amount that it has saved me over the years is just thousands. We have renewed every year for the last five years and I think I had them at my other house as well. However, this last time, it took several days to get somebody out here and it was a very scripted answer. You know, "Our dispatch is working on it, blah blah, blah. It could take 24 hours." And no matter what I said, I always got the same answer.

I went online for an appointment for the plumber and someone contacted us from Choice Home and said it's been assigned to Mr. Williams Plumbing. He called us the next morning and said, "Okay, I'm coming out. I'll be there within a half hour" and he was. I really liked Williams Plumbing and I would have them back again if we ever had another plumbing issue.

I will probably sign up with them again in the next coming year. So I'm completely satisfied with Choice Home Warranty. All of my experiences were positive, except for one. I used it about two weeks ago. I called Choice Warranty and they had someone they sent immediately and the representative came out to repair it with no problem. The one experience I didn't have a good experience with was because I had three leaks and they gave me a hard time about getting it approved. But when they did, the plumber had to approve it or tell them that it was just a leak and I don't know why they didn't take my word for it. But other than that, I have nothing but positive feedback from working with Choice.

Typically it's good, but I have had some times where things have taken months or things never got done. The last two times I used it, I got somebody out within a few days and they did a great job. It tends to vary from location to location, in a highly populated, dense area like Houston I've got a lot of service providers and I get quick responses, and I have a home over in Florida in a less densely populated area, and sometimes it takes quite a while to get someone if I get anyone to come out.

It was very easy to file the claim online. The company that they dispatched out called me within that day and actually did a weekend visit without me even asking. They just came out on a weekend. The last couple of times the repair person came out, on both of the repairs and fixed it the first time. I didn't have to have someone come out for the second, third, or fourth time. It was fixed right away, in a timely manner.

Every time we place an order they take it right away, and within a day or two we get the service, which is fantastic. The very first one that we did the first year, I think was our garbage disposal was out. They came in, put in a new one and since then it's working fine. Our faucet was clogged, and the hot water was not coming they came out and then flushed it out and since then it's been working fine. Very recently we got our garage frozen light that was flickering, they came in and fixed that one too.

They return calls and they have good follow up. I enjoyed talking to the men. They have really good supervisors that come out. First they fixed my leak, they had an excellent crew, and then I've got a second crew that I haven't met so I'm still trying to get in touch with them. It's been a month, so I'm ready to get my drywall and my installation back in.

I did it all on the website. Just a few hours later I had a response back from them. So it was it was pretty quick and easy.I had a little incident where we needed parts and they sent the wrong parts, apparently to the wrong address, and they haven't been delivered yet. So I've I've been limping along without a washer for a couple weeks, but in the meantime, I went on vacation, so I can't really count that against them.

We recently had an issue with our hot water heater and had a hard time getting a plumber in there to do the job. The pricing was crazy and I asked if I could bring in my own plumber and they said yes. I could pay a licensed registered plumber to go up front and they would reimburse them. And that went really well. They've been a great company to work with so far. They're always there to answer your questions and help you when you need it.

It's probably one of the best companies out there. I would recommend them. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Any problems that you have, they get into it with you and then they try to help you out the best way they can. Actually we had to use the warranty about two weeks ago for our garbage disposal. They sent out a company and they were able to fix the problem with no issues. And the only thing we had to pay was the deductible, which is nothing.

I like the warranty company I like the way it handles its claims in a timely, organized fashion. I do not like the manufacture warranty policy that says if it’s covered under manufacture warranty home warranty will not cover it because manufacture warranty only covers the part I would gladly pay the money for the part to have the service done. I had an unidentified leak under my kitchen sink. Set up my claim very easily in the Choice Home Warranty website. A few hours later, I had a very detailed and communicative plumber from Above and Beyond Plumbing in my home who found, and corrected, a slipped p-trap and a broken glue seal on an outgoing drain pipe. Yeah! No more water on the floor! The plumber cleaned up after himself and sent me an invoice by email making the single, small payment easy. My overall experience with Choice has been satisfactory. Actually, I have only had one really negative experience over the last couple of years working with them. That was when my heating unit need to be replaced. A very large expense which is the reason most people sign up for these type of services. The refused to pay and I had to come out of my pocket to cover that replacement. Actually, They did also try low balling me on replacing my dishwasher and I had to fight to get proper compensation. Getting someone out to do a repair has been good. Definitely saves me time and heart ache troubleshooting and attempting minor repairs. That alone gives me a positive out look on my experience with them. However, when it comes to an appliance replacement or major expense be prepared for a fight.

This is what I dislike. I wanted the same company who put the new unit in to comeback for the service call. With your current system it can’t be requested. Made fifteen calls to get that company out here. Second thing I had an entire AC system put in the Florida house. I got the written Warrenty for both the inside and outside units. I have requested these for the Texas house units I have not gotten it. The company that Choice sent was great. Adam was very good as were the installers. I have found CHOICE to be a good value.

The two incidents that I had over the past couple of months were positive ones. I was notified each day about what progress was being made and I was informed of the opportunity I had to get my own contractor if that would be necessary, but in both instances within the 48-day contract period for finding service, Choice was able to address the issue. So there was no need for me to go ahead and operate on my own, so to speak. I just had to pay for the initial service call, which was a reasonable amount less than I would have been charged had I gone out on my own and searched for a repair person.

Their website's good. When I go on there I can put a ticket request on the weekend when I have time if it's a non-emergency ticket. And by Monday afternoon, I get a call from somebody that they're coming, so know that they sent it out already and somebody's answered. I've always had a really fast response and I can't think of any time that I've ever had to resubmit a ticket. It works out pretty good and I'm not really an online person.

Basically it covers everything. It's not just one item, it's everything, so for a warranty on everything, it's a good deal. Calling and setting up the claim and getting someone to come over was all very easy and fast. I took advantage of a multiyear contract and I thought it was super reasonable. I got answers to my questions right away and they were real flexible on getting me the service I needed. Had a A/C call on the property and the guy had to come back out so Choice left the the request for help open and I only had to pay for them to come back out the next day.

Sometimes you have to wait until they can find someone to come to help you. I would assume it's because the people in the industry don't want to accept the fee that they're willing to pay for a call. So sometimes you've got a repair person that would come that is within 10 minutes of you and you've got somebody else coming that is driving half an hour or 45 minutes to get to your house. It just seems kind of silly to me that you have to wait. I waited a week for someone to come because they couldn't find anyone that would come. The people that they have gotten, finally, have been very acceptable, so I can't complain about the service, it just takes a lot longer than necessary sometimes to get help.

They gave me a great deal. The guy that came last time was excellent. The guy's name was Larry, and he actually owns the company. I called him because y'all told me that I could call him and find out if he could come earlier. The guy actually came that day and did the repair for me and he owns the company, so he's usually not one of the repair guys, but he came on his own and came that day and fixed the problem. So to me, that's excellent service right there. I really appreciated his work. And I even tried to give him extra money for coming and doing it and he wouldn't even take it.I know y'all have certain people that you go to, probably because y'all have a contract with them or whatever. But it seems like the smaller companies do better work for you. That's just my opinion because of the two that we've had service our stuff and they've done excellent work for us. We had a problem with our dishwasher. The first guy that they sent ordered all these parts and everything. Come to find out the dishwasher didn't need none of those parts. The third person that y'all sent out, he was from a small company, local. He solved the issue in one day after I'd been waiting for three weeks for the parts to come in. So whoever the third person that y'all had come, y'all should use them more often.

Quite a long time ago, I was with American Home Shield and I was very dissatisfied with them and hesitated even getting another home warranty at all because I was so disgusted with how I was treated and the service and everything else about it. Very responsive to my needs. I've used them quite a bit. So the last one was something on my pool. I got the pool one and they had a - within 48 hours if you file a claim and if they can't find somebody, they'll allow you to get somebody. I needed my pool fixed right away because it was hot. So I was able to get on that pretty quick and they approved it within minutes. When you're paying out of pocket it would probably be nicer to get the check back a little quicker. Sometimes it takes up to 30 days to get the check back if you pay upfront.

I would strongly encourage Choice to continue with the way they choose its vendors. Because I like the quality of the vendor and also I like the way things are handled. I don't know if you all have a phone app. I know I've put all my claims through a website, but I would think that if y'all can develop a recent phone app that would make things way easier because we can submit claims on the go. The biggest thing is to continue what y'all are doing. This is really good.

Every time I've needed to use it, eventually somebody came pretty quickly and evaluated it and made a decision about what needed to be done. Right now, my dishwasher is not working and so they told me that I would get a voucher. So I'm waiting on a voucher and I'm ready to purchase one now. But I'm kind of waiting on the voucher, and the voucher is only good for Lowe's, and I can't use it on anything else. So that means I gotta delay my desire to get a dishwasher until Choice decides to send the voucher.

I signed up for I think a three-year plan and I'm thinking, oh my gosh, what did I do? But you don't know until you have to utilize the service. So I'd had it for a year and then I had an issue, and then I had such a good experience making the claim and getting it fixed. Whoever customer support was, they would e-mail me or text me. They said, we're still looking for someone - we haven't found someone in your area. So they kept me abreast. I didn't feel like I was in a vacuum waiting to hear from someone and wondering if they were doing anything.

They've been supplying us with quality suppliers and it's one call. You don't have to have a bunch of vendors. Those are one-call service, especially if you have multiple properties. We've had issues and they've resolved issues quickly. The only problem we've ever had is looking for an A/C person in the summer. Sometimes it's a little hard for somebody to respond to it. But they eventually do.

While I haven't had a lot of problems at my house, when I have called Choice Home Warranty, they have connected me with technicians who are skilled and honest. After the appointment was given to me, Mr. H called to make me aware of when he would approximately arrive. He arrived in a timely manner, listened patiently, examined the area within reason, resolved the issue, and inspected everything before he left. He also made sure that I could reach out to him if I had any other related issues.
