I was out of town and during my absence, something happened to my water heater. It was leaking pretty excessively. I called within days, which I understood that they couldn't get out right away. They made an appointment, they sent a technician out. The technician was absolutely amazing. He talked me through the process. He told me what he was doing, explained every part of it. And he repaired it in no time at all. But he had difficulty with the tech support. So if I had an issue with anything it would be maybe the dev side, how their phones interface with the software.

We're kind of beginners with it, new homeowners. So far it's been a positive experience. Most of the time you can't speak with somebody after the fact, it's more along the lines of leave a message and then you get an e-mail instead of a phone call back, so I'm always a big believer in talking to somebody live, having that human touch. But that doesn't mean that it didn't work out.

This past Christmas our heat pump went out and I did get a technician out here that night on Christmas Eve, so that worked out great. But then the same day, our kitchen sink stopped up and I waited a couple of days to see if we could get it unstopped ourselves because it was the holidays and very cold weather and we were not able to get it unstopped. So on the following Monday I submitted a claim and on Tuesday, got an e-mail back from them that they were not able to assign a service technician and there were steps that we could take if we wanted to hire our own and get reimbursement. So that's what we ended up doing and they have approved the reimbursement. I feel like it's overpriced. I mean, we have used it a lot, so we are getting our money's worth out of it, but I do feel like the warranty itself is overpriced and the co-pays are overpriced. If you're paying almost $500 for a year of warranty, your copay should probably be $25 or $30, not $75.

I've used my warranty 3 times. I was reasonably satisfied with a couple of them, but the last time is the one time that I really had to have things explained to me. I've been taking care of my heating and air system, and they had to send someone out to evaluate it and they replaced some things in there. I can't blame Choice with the people that did the work. I think they misdiagnosed some of it and when they came back, we ended up needing some ductwork done and Choice doesn't take care of the entire ductwork, they only take care of the connections from the unit to the ductwork and I didn't realize that. So they left me in a bit of a bind because this past month we've had 9 degree and 15 degree weather and I was still without heat. But it was nothing they could do about that because that's the way their warranty's set up. I didn't know it didn't cover the ducts, it only covered a portion of it, so I was left holding the bag.

We had no heat and so I put in a request online. Actually, I forgot that we had the home warranty I was looking around to find somebody to come fix it and I said, "You know I think we got a home warranty, let me check." So I was gonna check and yep and then so I just followed the steps and did it online and they sent somebody out and the guy, he tried to fix it and he put in recommendation for it to be replaced. I was surprised most of the time, most insurance companies give this little blowback but replacement was approved pretty quick, like the same day. So I was very surprised.

It was very easy to do. I just wish that there was somebody that I could have spoke with and explained my situation instead of only having the online form. Besides that, everything has been perfect with it and I think I'm going to renew it when the time comes next year. I had to use it for a plumbing issue and I had a hard time getting a hold of contractor, but when I did get a hold of him, I had to reschedule and everything went well. He came to the house and he took care of everything that we needed so it went really well.

The few times that I have tried to contact them, they've always got somebody that's knowledgeable and we're be able to put in the request, submit your claim or whatever you need assistance with it. Maybe a week before Christmas, my not so bad bathroom had a sink leak and I called them and they got a plumber out less than 24 hours and got that repaired for me.

Choice is the best Home Warranty company I've ever used and I used two others before switching to Choice. They have sent only high quality companies/technicians to address problems that I've had. Only once, they couldn't find someone to assist me;however, Choice made the "find my own technician" reimbursement procedure easy. When claim is submitted, they begin working on addressing it quickly and keep you updated with the progression!

I've just recently used Choice for my dryer. I contacted them and within a couple of days they had somebody out to me. He came, he was on time, he called me before he got there so I knew he was coming. He reviewed it, reached back out to Choice, Choice agreed to make the the repairs, he ordered the parts and they were back within maybe three days. The online system seems to work very well and they respond quickly to it.

I'm happy so far with them. I just go to the website, I put what the problem is and then send an e-mail and then I get a notification that is scheduled. A very simple process, you don't call anybody, you just go to the website view your account and you say what the problem is, you submitted and then you get an e-mail. And then you get one e-mail confirming that you have an appointment. Simple as that. You have to call back and reschedule if the time doesn't work, they automatically set the schedule without even talking to you.

Great company. I was hesitant about the warranty, but Choice Warranty has done a great job. Not even a month ago I called them up. I had the issue with one of the faucets and they sent the plumber. He replaced it, no problem. So it was very fast, very efficient. Anytime I needed anything they take care of it, no questions, whether on weekends, on weekdays. They have a very good customer service.

They have managed to solve an electrical issue. Very fast and in reasonable time. I think they have good team of technicians contracted. They come, and they don't bluff around. They give the right estimate to both parties. When there was a plumbing issue at my tenant's home they came on right on time and they completed the work. It's an easy process for processing any claim known as so comparing to other companies.

They didn't give me a hard time with making a claim. They didn't make me jump through a whole bunch of hoops and try to get me to get it serviced myself. They actually sent somebody. I needed to use my warranty for my refrigerator. It was collecting ice on the inside and I didn't know how to fix it. So I called and told them about it and they sent the guy over and he fixed it within half an hour. It's been good ever since. I am very grateful for that and I only had to pay these the $75.00 and that was it. I think it's fairly priced.

There's been several times where I've been denied claims and others where I've been offered full reimbursement for the work that needs to be done. It just seems like it depends on whoever you call and what day of the week it is. I think the network of professional tradespeople they have is outstanding. Unfortunately the salespeople don't get those high ratings. I've been a customer for ten years. When I was trying to do a renewal earlier this year and I was selling the property I only wanted A 1 year contract and they refused to do that. Now I have one property that's not choice and all the others that are because of the sales people.

My hot water heater in my home rusted out on the bottom. They were able to get a company in. The company came and saw what was wrong with it. And then I just had to do the little approval and was able to get a brand new water heater and when they came in to replace the water heater, the company was clean and efficient. They have promptly responded every time I've had a question.

I needed to get an AC repair done, and a dryer repair. I filed a claim online and then within 24 hours they schedule someone to come out. You'll get contacted from the company that will come out to do the service. Sometimes it takes a little longer than desired for them to get back to you. The are really good about scheduling maintenance people to come out, but when it comes to having conversations with customer service people, sometimes takes a while.

I've got a claim in process right now for my AC and I submitted a claim and within the couple of hours Choice Home Warranty responded back with an appointment with the technician. And I've actually had a couple of issues with the technician today. Choice Home Warranty has been on top of it with getting in contact with them. They actually put me on hold and called the technician to figure out what the delay was instead of just saying, "oh, we'll let you know later." That was impressive.

I had to used my warranty for most recently for my refrigerator. The control for the ice maker and water was not working. The technician was very prompt he came out, he diagnosed it for the replacement parts and the follow up letting me know that the replacement part was on back order. Once the part came in, he called and came out immediately to correct it, to fix it. Their follow up and follow through has been right on time.

Choice responded to my request in less than 24hrs. The request application confused me when I tried to submit. I had cancelled service last month for my stove, so, I made a new request this month. I was not sure what to do when the ite gold me the new request triggered a "this request has already been submitted. So, I made a phone call and the problem was solved. We have a manufacturers warranty throught Samsung on abrand new fridge and tge ice maker stopped working and I was told the samsung authorized factory service center quit so they would not fix it and I would have to pay $1500 for a new ice maker even though it was under warranty so I call choice not only was it fixed in a few days I only paid $60.00 and tech who came out was awesome.

I just think that they need more live attendants. There's only so much you can do on a computer or on a voicemail and the wait time to get to someone with an issue and then it would be helpful to have somebody on the scheduling side more accessible. Most recently I called in and I was unable to get through to someone. I had to use a computer system to schedule it. On the phone you go through the prompts and I told them what was needed and they recorded it and I got an e-mail saying that someone would come out and they texted me the next day and they came out and they took care of it and that was that. It's been addressed and taken care of. Just a little bit of a challenge because there's no way to leave any additional comments, which would have been nice because I have a tenant with a newborn, I needed to find out about urgency or contact information for my tenant, etcetera.

I've had it a few years before and I loved them. I used my warranty on my dishwasher and my refrigerator these last couple of weeks and it was excellent. Took a little longer to get the repair guy for the refrigerator, but the first day I got the one for the dishwasher. It'd say it's pretty darn good. I think the service fees went up a lot, but it's comparible to most other companies.

The customer service people are friendly, helpful, understands the issues. I used my warranty when my AC wasn't working. The service provider came out, and it took a while to figure out the problem. He needed to order a part and we had to wait a couple of days. The part came in, he scheduled an appointment to come back, and installed the circuit board. The air conditioning is working fine. He was very nice, polite, professional.

I had a problem with my GE cook top, the burners weren't lighting. They sent someone, it needed parts, the parts were ordered, took a while to come in, but then the gentleman did come back and repair it. Unfortunately somebody put the wrong part in the right box and that part needed to be reordered again and he had to come back again. But the nice part is you only pay the one year, I pay $65 every time my repair man comes, but you only have to pay that the one time.

I am a single home owner and one income household so I bought a 6 yr warranty when purchasing my new home. So far it has been a positive experience with my washer, humidifier being repaired. I am hoping it continues to be a positive experience. My only criticism would be the time it takes to get the repair done but each time I've had to wait for parts so that's not in their control. Overall I would highly recommend!

They're pretty simple to deal with. You get a human being and not have to go through one of those message machine board things, you actually talk to a person. I needed them to come out and look at our refrigerator and they came out and looked at the refrigerator and they couldn't get the part and they sent me a gift certificate or a gift card for replacement.

My washing machine just stopped working. The door was locked saying it was not locking and and then it said something about like the motherboard failure or something. So I called you guys and had the tech come out and we paid our $85 and that was it. They totaled the washing machine because it would cost more to fix it. I have not gotten the check yet, but they gave us almost enough to buy a whole brand new washing machine. So it was definitely worth it.

They contacted the repair company and they actually gave you choices, like if you had that company before and weren't satisfied with them they would resend them out. I just had them out for a dryer for choice. It's worse now than it was. I asked her if I could get a different technician and she said I had to ask the same company for the front tech.

They are very professional and prompt. The only thing was that it was a long wait time when you're calling on the phone. I had to wait between 45 minutes to an hour. Just last month they came out because my pipe busted in my house and it was over the weekend. I was able to turn off the water thing so that the water wouldn't be used, but they came out that first thing that Monday morning they were able to fix it.

The repairmen that were sent from Lopez Complete Interiors were knowledgeable and friendly and worked very hard to get me some heat. Of all the repairman I have had in the last 2 months these were able to actually make it work. I will recommend them again the next time it breaks. I do not like the idea that I had multiple people from different companies out to fix the same machine and I had to pay the fee each time. You promote this service saying that you pay the $85 the first time and if it is not fixed, you don't have to pay it again until it is fixed. That is not so because my HVAC system has been not working for almost two months with several companies coming out and I paid the $85 each time. Also, when does a piece of equipment qualify as not fixable? After as many times that I had someone come out replacing the unit was never offered. When is is not fixable.

The people that came out to check the refrigerator were very considerate and very businesslike. They were absolutely great. They tell me what to expect and I got a little note saying how much I would get. I thought I had to buy it at Lowe's and I guess I could have bought it anywhere because when I went to go get it at Lowe's, it hadn't gone through the system yet and so they said they would send me a check. So I was kind of surprised at how that happened, but it all worked out okay.

Had ISDAN home improvement come & repaired my furnace & was on time, courteous, friendly & kept me informed Re: need to order parts. He went & picked them up the next day & came back as promised and did the repair the next day. I really appreciated his return on a Friday afternoon because he didn't want to leave a customer without heat for the weekend!! CHW stood behind there word. They were timely with dispatching a vendor to my contract. CHW kept me informed through the process. Once a diagnosis was made, I was given my cost upfront before I agree to the service. Tabor heating and cooling technician was so personable, informative, courteous, and prompt. Everything was so smooth, timely, accurate with no problems, no hassle. My garage door stopped working and my car was stuck in the garage. They told me how to get it out and then they came that weekend and fixed it. They actually replaced the unit because the unit had failed and it was just a really good experience. They were so professional. They cleaned up afterwards. They took the time to explain everything. I just am so very happy. I'm very happy that I made the change to choice. My air conditioning broke and it was just devastating to me to find out that, um, the outside portion was not covered. The vendor did everything they could to make sure that I didn't have to pay out of pocket for as much as possible working with the vendor. I really appreciated them working together like that.

Two weeks ago a heater went out, it kind of cracked and water was leaking out of it. I did submit a claim and within 48 hours they sent somebody over to come and look at it. After the technician submitted a report, they opted to replace the water tank. Two weeks later it was replaced and we didn't have any kind of issues. No objections or any challenges.

Our central air conditioning system just quit. And it was in the middle of the summer in Central TX where it's awfully hot and we were turned over to a repair business.The first first one didn't respond, but they quickly sent another and they responded and came out and took care of the problem. I had seen the advertisements on TV and my husband was out of town and if anything went wrong while he was out of town, I was thinking I need somebody to come fix things. So if I am ever going to be a on my own, I need to have the man that I could count on or somebody to come and fix things I didn't want to. So I got thinking, I think I should do that because our appliances and things in the house had been several years old already, and I didn't want to get stuck with a broken appliance or air conditioner or whatever. And it's a good thing because we've had to have them out twice now for air conditioning. One was because of the power surge after the storm and the other one was a fan that went out. So we've been without air conditioning a couple times here this last 2 months. So we're very thankful to have home warranty be able to send somebody out to fix it.

It's almost the next day that they send somebody out to take care of my problem. I've had 2 ceiling fans, air conditioner, a refrigerator that had to be fixed. All I had to pay was the service to you. But on my hot water I had to pay $400.00 and I just didn't understand what that was for, I never did. They never told me. They just said that I owed $400.00 on top of my service fee.

I've had Choice Home Warranty since 2010 and love it. I can't say enough good things about this company. If something breaks down or needs a repair, I contact Choice Home directly on the website and explain my situation. Then, they contact a contractor to contact me for an appointment. If the appliance cannot be repaired, they will give you compensation for a new appliance for my choice to buy. I currently have the warranty through 2025 and only pay $45.00 for each service visit. I've never had any problems with this company and highly recommend.

I called to get my freezer fixed the door was not opening I had to wait and entire week for the person to come to.my house.thank God I have another freezer in my basement that I could use but had no ice because it was jamed resorted to bottled water for and entire week. But the did come out on Friday one week later and had to remove the door and remove object that was causing the problem and re install the door. I was glad all I had to pay was my service fee
