Cant rate at this time still have a open claim Claim # 205960115. Repair service you assigned never completed the JOB said he needed a new mother board for the microwave and his supply source did NOT have one in stock and he would call me when it came in. Today August 7th I find out through a TEXT message that my claim had to be reassigned. What MUST I DO to get my Microwave oven repaired? Its been an open claim since JULY and After 5 Appliance repair even though a GREAT TECH is a poorly run company when he cannot service the customer through your warranty program,Please advise me what can be done.

Like the peace of mind provided by the service. Dislike the inability to provide technicians in a timely manner. Still waiting for over a week (under the wrath of my wife) for the service to a dishwasher! Occasionally the service representative on the phone service is not understandable. Background noise and/or heavy accent is difficult to understand.

The value is when big ticket items fail. I had 2 bad experiences with Choice in the 2021-2022 time frame, and I was pretty sure I would let the contracts expire. I have 5 homes with Choice warranties. When one of them was ready for renewal Choice convinced me that their new CEO was righting the ship. I renewed/upgraded all 5, and the first 2 claims have been handled flawlessly. I'll let you know in another year whether this is a consistent pattern

Most appliances covered hassle free, except air conditioning. If your air conditioning goes out, the company may keep you waiting for several days before dispatching a repair tech. Mine went out in 95 degree heat and I had to call for my own repairs out pocket because I couldn't wait that long. Apart from this, most other claims were resolved well.

I have had to utilize Choice Warranty a few times iin the past dew months. My home is 16 years old and wear and tear is affecting certain things. All of the professionals sent out have been professional and knowledgeable and fixed the issues. All of the appointments were made quickly and they all showed up. I am satisfied with their service so far and as a realtor myself, recommend them to my clients.

The CSR was very knowledgeable and explained the coverage well. He was able to give me the Senior discount that AARP recommended, in addition to the July 4th promotion. I had several questions he was able to clear up. However, my one issue is that Brandon spoke too fast and talked over me, when I had questions referring to his ongoing sales presentation. I had to remind him, that I was taking notes, several times and to slow down. Other than that, he was polite at the end. I am very pleased with your extensive coverage and the price.

the original technician that came out ( may 29) was very professional, polite and clean. He said I needed a part for the ice maker and would get back to me. they scheduled for another date(june 26) then I got a message that the technician had a family emergency and they had to cancel. I have not heard from them. Also I told them there was a dishwasher leak for the 2nd appt and have not heard back.

The service person showed up in a reasonable amount of time and did a really great job. My only issue is that when we file a claim with Choice, it may be several days before they assign us a service person and the notice I received for a serviceperson coming THAT DAY was sent at 6 am. That worked out because of my unique living/working scenario, but most often, that would not be acceptable.

The customer service part of the experience is challenging because nobody ever answers the phone and even when I leave my number of "auto" call back, I don't receive a call. When I put my questions in the portal it is about 50% of the time that someone responds. When they do, it nice but I'm often not sure of next steps or keep up on the status of my claim --- very frustrating.

The agent, Tim, was polite and efficient with my time. The transaction went very smoothly. The only request I had that he was apparently not allowed to privide was that I wanted something in writing BEFORE paying. However, I went ahead with the contract before receiving a copy because I had done some homework before calling, so I knew I was not talking to a scammer. And I was the one who called in, not the other way around.

Your home warranty information on what is covered and what is not covered should be on your website period! I do not and should not have to go to google to look up your coverage via the user agreement. It should be on your web page! Just a little pushy on the extended 3 or 5 year plan get 6 months or a year free and price lock. Don't have that kind of money and would not spend it without ever using your service. Why would I pay 1500 or 2500.00 for a warranty I have never used. Again, this should be a great option after the first year renewal with you and not all right up front. We just moved here and certainly cannot afford to pay in advance at this time. Put more helpful information on your warranty on your website. What are you trying to hide?????????

I know that it will be taken care with the service call fee most of the time, unless it is freeon for AC which may need maintanance. Also, I do not have to go looking for a vendor myself. So far, most of the vendors are helpful, kind and they try their best to figure out the problem asap to get the job done. Good job.

The problem wasn't fixed. Burners that are not lit were sparking when a lit burner was turned down low. Technician's language skills may have kept him from understanding the complaint--he kept saying it was normal and demonstrated turning on burners, but not letting me turn them down & wait for sparking to happen. That problem still exists. A burner we thought wasn't working was actually okay.

I was disappointed in a technician to repair my air conditioning unit were not available for over a week in 100 degree temperatures. Once Tradewinds Heating and Cooling were contracted to provide service, they were not available for a week, but were able to move me up 2 days and kept me appraised of the date is service. It took less than 30 minutes to find the problem and repair it. Dave B was customer focused, professional and personable.

I think ease of filing a claim is good but the follow through is lacking. I log in to find My status and it is never updated. After calling and waiting to speak with someone, I asked when the current phase will be completed and told within 24 hours, however, 2 business days later no info has been shared. I also left messages to the provider and have not had any response even when 2 of my 3 messages, I specifically asked for communication since no one responded to previous messages. I made this claim on 6/20 and it is now 7/18 and still no update on status. I have to be the one contacting them Consistently. The system in place does not appear to be working. I wish their check status claim would inform the consumer or they sent out emails regularly. I hope my home situation does not worsen.

We’ve had Choice for many years and have used their services several times. Each time up to now they have repaired the problem. It’s not a quick process but efficient. This is the 1st time they’ve determined not to repair but pay us to get a new unit to replace our broken one. Up to this time I would’ve given them a 4 1/2 stars. But I’m only giving them 3 because they are limiting where we can go to get our replacement. I wasn’t expecting a lot of money cause the Washer/Dryer is old. So I get the depreciation. I just don’t get the replacement value is determined on the Wholesale Value and a Gift Card to Lowe’s. Both are limiting in the fact that the Wholesale value is obviously much lower than the retail value and the gift card to Lowe’s limits what we can get to replace our Washer/Dryer. Now, we’ve had Choice for many years and I don’t recall the specifics of their policy’s replacement details. So this could be what it states. I will need to look up my files from when we signed up. But as K said before this incident I would’ve given them 4 1/2 stars out of 5. I have contacted them to see if we can get something besides a Gift Card to just Lowe’s. If I’m able I will update my rating at that time.
