I have submitted 3 claims on this policy since I purchased it 3 years ago. The first 2 claims were denied, this one was accepted but it took 2 full months to get my A/C condenser replaced and then I had to pay $2,285 to finally get it replaced. Choice dilly-dallied around for a month and a half before they found a contractor to come out. When he came out, he said he has been a contractor for them for numerous years but he had only been notified of the need the day before he came out!!!!

It is not a good company. I had a oven that broke and they claimed that it was the door and that I had to get a professional to put a door back on when I took the door off. So I put the door back on I had to make another claim and pay for the second claim for the person to come out to fix the panel that was actually the problem. Also the cooktop. I had to call them because they were going to replace the thirty six inch with a thirty inch.

Because i have been waiting for a month for a part and i have called and entered the chat a number of times and get promises the part is on back order and someone is working it and will call me with an update no one has EVER called me yet! I can find the part(dryer wiring harness) available at a number of websites but you guys and Sears cannot. Why is that?

I'm unable to get anything done that needs to be done with them. When they answer the phone they answer with pre written answers that don't answer my questions and they were really unhelpful. I'm currently without air conditioner for over a month and am unable to get it fixed. I'm finally getting a technician to come out today but it has been a horrible situation trying to work with them. I would highly encourage anyone to not choose choice home warranty.

We just recently made a claim and they said that they were going to do the repairs, but then they said that instead of repairing they would give us six hundred and sixty seven dollars in Lowe's gift card. Lowe's cannot do anything and they think some Lowe's gift cards are going to make us happy that's not the case at all.

Choice Home Warranty falls short of expectations. The primary issue is their failure to properly vet vendors, leading to subpar service quality. Even more frustrating is their lack of accountability; when vendors don't deliver, Choice Home Warranty does little to address the problem, leaving customers to deal with unresolved issues. The overall experience is disappointing, as the company's poor vendor management undermines the value of the warranty itself.

I had a service call on April 5 and the technician told me he had to order a part. I haven't heard from the technician and when I call CHW, the only thing she wanted to do was set up a brand new claim and collect a service fee for work that was already claimed and NEVER REPAIRED.

I have filed claims in the past and only paid one service fees. After having a technician come to fix my microwave it was determined that the problem was normal wear and tear required some components to be replaced. Despite the technicians information and everything that is wrong being covered by the policy, CHW denied the claim stating its 'physical damage' and not understanding that it was a flawed failing part. Absolutely would not recommend them, their customer service is also abhorrent.

It's $85 each time someone comes out to do an assessment, example, both my garage doors were acting up at the same time, so time warranty would only allow the assessor to look at one door during his visit at $85 and then I had to reapply for the other door at $85.

Do not repair most things that are covered. Instead, offer greatly inadequate amount of money to replace the appliance. The amount offered isn't enough to buy a comparable appliance, nor the bottom of the line appliance; not enough to buy a comparable item used. Many technicians that are sent are incompetent and give wrong diagnosis, costing the customer additional money. Customer service is terrible.

First, no one ever ever answers the phone or returns calls from this company unless you are making your initial payment to purchase the warranty. I was repeatedly assured that my contract included a septic pump out, but the servicer told me Choice only paid part of it and they were told I had to pay the balance. I've tried repeatedly to contact Choice to find out why I was never told I would have to pay more than the service fee--no one ever answers the phone. This is awful.

I am very disappointed in your company. After spending $2000. , my refrigerator was making snow, the light switch was not working, the technician stated that it was WEAR AND TEAR AND THE BEARINGS WERE WORN OUT AND THE LIGHT WITCH WHICH AN INTEGRAL PART TO THE SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.. He called your office and the repair was denied. Your delegate said the technician told them different and I was incorrect. I know what the technician said to me, and he assured me it would be covered. I do not appreciate having to argue over a repair, I was told my appliances would be covered.

They contract with subpar companies who's business practices are questionable. We placed a claim for a water heater. It took them 7 months to approve it. The plumber claimed that our garage walls were wet and that the garage needed to be rebuilt. He used no leak detection equipment nor did he cut into the wall. According to the plumber it wasn't covered but his buddy could come give us a quote. We hired a restoration company who confirmed no moisture.

They refused to replace my kitchen range, however, offered me a settlement of $ 455.00, which I accepted, with reservation that I am not happy with that decision. I went out and purchased a new range for $ 759.00, because I did not want top hassle back and forth without having a range with a working oven. The $ 455.00 offer, was the FINAL OFFER, therefore I accepted it in order to replace the stove myself. The claim of "if we cannot repair it, we'll replaced it, with a similar product" is bogus, and they do not live up to their advertised promises.
