Not a great experience. Issues are not resolved on the first visit, technicians break parts and another visit from another company is set up and i have to pay the 'initial' visit again and it is not resolved at this time. I want a total refund immedaitely for the 5 year contract that i paid in advance!!!

I have had the toughest time trying to get the work done and to ever get reimbursed. I finally got tired of waiting for approval to have my two plumbing issues fixed. After waiting 6 weeks, I got verbal approval to pick my own plumber and I was to receive reimbursement. I have been told one check has been mailed, but I never received it. So far I have paid for a service that has not benefitted me in any way.

They are not able to service my Thermador refrigerator. The icemaker does not work. Their offer was for me to find someone to do the work. The person that serviced the Thermador oven issue took the initiative on his own to figure out how to do the repair. It took three calls on his part but he did get the job done and I would recommend him.

Choice was NO help when we have our sump pump stopped working. It happened on a Friday evening. We called the number listed on our policy and we could only leave a message. We then filed a claim on line and got a claim number we had to replace the pump as soon as possible. We have water in our basement. When your agent called Monday we were told that we needed to use a repairman that worked with you. We couldn’t wait until Monday. We are sorry that we bought 3 years of policy with hooves #Warranty.

I will call this in tomorrow, but our dishwasher has been broken over a month. The technician came out and said it needed a part. I paid the service fee and he left and said 2-3 weeks max. He came back today for the SAME PROBLEM THAT WAS NEVER FIXED and did not have the needed part and wanted us to pay the fee again because he came out. For what? Meanwhile my dishwasher is still broken and my contract is expiring. What a waste of money for this warranty that does nothing.

The time it's taking to repair my hot water heater. Filed a claim on 11 May 2023 and as of today, 13 June 2023 (34 days), company has not located a technician within their system to troubleshoot /repair my issue. Imagine 34 days without hot water. Doesn't exactly reflect the promise in their advertising.

Waited for a repair person to come and fix our ice machine. Still, no one has come because all are busy. So, I got a local guy. He came in one hour. Paid him around $500/-. Two other companies I called said, they don't want to deal with Choice Home Warranty and their paperwork. This guy also refused to work with your company. Now I have to fight with Choice Warranty to get reimbursement!

I was with choice home warranty company for two years! Made one claim each year and both were denied! I appealed and was accepted. However, this time the technician left my plumbing worse and choice has not offered to help me in anyway. I’m now left with leaking plumbing and water SQUIRTING all over leaving my kitchen sink unusable and having to use a shop vac to remove the standing water.

The current submission was not full filled as the contract states. The vendor that was sent out, did not show back up with the part like they said they would. The vendor then missed the 2nd date that was setup. The vendor wanted me to pay cash $300 for the repair without going through CHW. Because of the time it was taking, I-hired my own plumber to replace the tank and now I can’t get CHW to pay me the portion they authorized to their vendor! This is a worthless policy in my opinion.

I am a 79 year old women with emphysema. I have had both A/C's go out. Your response time has been non-existent. You really just want me to find someone to repair my systems and when I do, you don't accept their diagnoses and are only willing to do a quick fix. Your company does not allow me to talk to a manager or anyone higher than customer service. I have reported your company and will now be talking to The Island Packet and TV Channel 11 to complain about your company.

TERRIBLE LIARS AND CHEATS! They covered nothing, denied both of my claims for no reason and their dispute manager hung up on me after waiting a week for my 15 minutes . I e never experienced anything in my life like their well trained lying staff, what their printed literature states is NOT WHAT THEY COVER. What they are good at is collecting your premiums.

Choice Warranty is a terrible company. I went around in circles with Crystal Green trying to resolve a problem I was having. This continued for 3 weeks with everyone i spoke to.I called Cote's Mechanical ,they came within two hours , diagnosed the problem and came within5 days to fix it,( it was Memorial Day weekend). I will never do business with Choice Warranty what a horrible company, they took advantage of an old woman!

Over the years being a customer with choice warranty I have spent around 4000 dollars out of my pocket I am very disappointed with choice warranty. I have bought 2 cord for my AC unit and I added around 850 dollars for a new unit and 650 dollars for a compressor for my AC unit and I say why are we paying monthly when everytime I have to come out of my pocket.

They don't keep you informed about your claims that have been submitted. I had a Tennant with no AC for 2 weeks because CHW was waiting for an HVAC contractor to pick up the contract. I had to go and find my own and the unit was not salvageable. The reimbursement program is a joke as well. I came out of pocket 7k fpr the new unit and choice didn't reimburse me a dime. Terrible experience overall. Almost feels like I got scammed.

Communicating with your customer service was difficult. Finding a technician to come to my house was difficult. The first technician that was scheduled was a no call no show. When the technician did show up and identify the service needed, he called the service department to get it authorized and no one would answer the phone. He left a message and it took someone two hours to call back. Wasting both the technicians time in my time. ended up taking me three weeks to get my problem resolved, and it was a very frustrating affair.

made claim-was sent email from choice stating service person will arrive Appointment Date: Friday May 19th 2023 Appointment Time: 11:00 AM -03:00 PM NO ONE showed up, no contact with me at all- wasted a day off work waiting -I called the service people-they said (On the saturday) they only just got the notice from Choice a couple hours before they called me. and the guy came Monday - said it was city code and he couldn't do anything at all not even change the part out-and it cost me $85 (On top of lost days wages) -not happy at all -will probably cancel Choice

Save your $55 a month because the amount they do pay if claim is approved (and they seldom do approve, there seems to always be a catch that disqualifies them from paying) is not much. The contractors they do send out for repairs are usually incompetent it’s a 50/50 chance they are gonna send someone that does the job right the 1st time. You also pay an $85 service fee for someone to just come look at the problem and that does not come off the price of repair. Seems like a huge rip off.

Appealed a claim regarding their technican stating that the blower motor in my HVAC was dirty due to lack of maintenance and that's why it shorted out. I submitted maintenance records from my regular HVAC shop that did the mainenance from 2021 to 2023. Case manager still denied my appeal, stating that she has to go with what their technican stated. The problem I have is I watched their technican open the panel to blower motor and didn't pull the blower motor out, because it's a sealed unit.
