The service tech and I weren't on the same page when it came to the scheduled appointment. I was unable to be at home at the time of the appointment so I sent him a text to tell him that my neighbor had a key. He didn't read the text so when I called him he had cancelled the appointment. He rescheduled for two days later. It could have been disastrous had we been home because it was our AC. In the end it all turned out well, the problem was solved. SOS is a good company...we just crossed wires.

I was previously enrolled in a home warranty program with another company, but I wasn't pleased with the prices or the service. I found Choice Home Warranty online and checked them out, and I found that Choice offered the same coverage for a lot less cost. Highly recommend Choice! Our AC went out and it’s way hot in Texas. They promptly got a Heating and Air conditioning company that came exactly when they said they would... fixed it in 30 minutes and we were so grateful to be cool again! We are thankful we went with Choice . We have had the plan October of 2017 and this was our first experience with them .

I just enrolled with Choice Warranty, so am only able to rate my experience with customer service. When I called, unlike American Home Shield, I was put through to an associate immediately. When I have had to call American Home Shield, I have waited for a response up to 30 minutes! The associate I spoke with was courteous and gave me a great rate for the policy I wanted. I hope their vendors and service will be as accommodating as the associate I talked to today.

My A/C went out on the late afternoon of 7/25/18. I called Choice Warranty about 5pm and the rep. took all my info and assured me she will submit the claim immediately. I was also advised that the claim dept. closed at 8 pm eastern time. I received an e-mail immediately showing my claim had been submitted. The very next day the service rep contacted me and my A/ C was fixed the same day. (blown capacitor).

Our AC went out in July, needless to say this was an urgent matter. My wife and I called Choice Home Warranty on a Sunday evening (which we weren’t sure if there would be anyone working) and immediately were connected with a helpful representative. By the next day we received an appointment confirmation and had someone at the house to fix the AC first thing Tuesday morning. The entire process was painless and quick.

Our air conditioner stopped cooling around 2 A.M. on a Monday; I called to report a claim. Around 8 A.M. that same day we received a phone call that scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. Today is Wednesday; the technician, Richard from Crispy Air, came and repaired the unit by getting approval from Choice Home Warranty to replace the capacitor and fan motor. It is 102 degrees F right now, and our house is cool! My husband is thoroughly pleased with the way Richard cleaned up after himself, his friendliness, patience and willingness to explain what he did as well as to answer any questions we had.

CHW responded quickly to my repair request, but unfortunately the repair firm spoiled all your efforts by not showing up for his appointed time. After my call to report the negligent repair service, CHW had another company scheduled and out the next day, and all resulted in excellence. "You're only as good as those working for you," but in my case CHW resolved my problem with flying colors. I comment you and those working for you.

The initial time(s) were set by the repair company and I took time off work for that time period. Then they decided to change the times and left a message on my phone to call them back to verify that time frame-well I was out of town and not in an area where I could get good reception so wasn't able to confirm. They changed the time anyway, so I had to take the ENTIRE DAY off . A company should keep the initial times if they cannot get in touch with the person requesting service. Other than that, the technician was professional and helpful. Rapid response from CW

My 5-star rating is based solely on the conversation with CHW Rep. Maurice R. Mr. R was attentive and a good listener, with the ability and confidence to make quick decisions based upon my feedback. I was pleased with how he looked outside the box to find out what would work best for me and my present situation. Mr. R is definitely an asset to CHW, and I hope that my future dealings with CHW continues to be as professional as my initial communication with Maurice and not an aberration.

My air went out over night . I thought it was just hot the reason it wasn’t getting as cold . I called you guys Saturday evening and a technician called me early the next morning . The company of Mr H, was very professional and got my family cooling back off in a timely matter. If I have any AC problems again , I will love for this company to come back out . Thanks to my home warranty as well for expedited this matter fast in this superior hot weather .

It’s summer in Las Vegas. Temperatures over 100...and the air conditioner stops working. Of course, it’s the busiest time of the year for all air conditioning companies and there is usually a long, hot, torturous wait to fix the issue. But not with Choice. By the time I went online to report it (on a Sunday) to the time it was completely repaired...one day! So grateful for the ease of putting in the claim to the priority it received to get done. I am one very happy customer.

We have used Choice Home Warranty for 3 years. Overall, I am satisfied with their service. The companies they send have provided efficient services for our needs. My only complaint, is having to pay for the renewal in 1 or 2 payments. I wish there were more payment options as $500 or $250 is a lot to come up with on top of monthly financial commitments.

I made a claim on my washing machine and within 12 hours an appointment was made. The plumbing company, however, did not show up on the day my appt was for. Even told me I wasn’t on his schedule. When I told him I received an email a week ago from Choice regarding the appt. he told me his company was supposed to call us to confirm the appt. His company never called, even though he told me he did. He came up with several excuses. The bottom line was that someone in his office dropped the ball.

I've had no problem calling in, having repairs done. This time however, dodn't know if because of Covid or Christmas, evidently Choice has had a hard time finding technicians to come out. My fridge is still not repaired, waiting on parts. Now I've had to turn in a claim on washer, which I think threw bearings, makes horrible noise and doesn't wash or spin correctly. Great right here at Christmas. Hoping Choice gets a tech out here soon. Laundry is piling up, with Covid don't want to go to laundromat. Think this is just an odd time of year, and things going wrong quickly and all at one time.

I reported to choice warranty about a problem with my central a/c regarding lack of cooling in my house and they gave me a claim number. They sent couple of technicians to the house, the first one came and checked the problem of low Freon in the system and second technician came and put few pounds of Freon in the system and restored the problem. Well, I am happy the a/ c has been restored to my happiness. I also applaud the customer service for very prompt and sincere in taking care of my problem. I wish them good luck.

Our remote controls would not function to close our garage door, but they would work occasionally to open the door. We tried replacing the batteries and re-syncing the openers to no avail. I called Choice Home Warranty, explained the problem and they arranged a repair within the hour. Within 24 hours it was repaired by an electronic item in the main unit replaced. The repairman was courteous and knowledgeable. The only fee was the $60 service call.

Air conditioner stopped working in 90 degree heat. CHW sent out a great air conditioning company named Top Air. Our unit needed a new motor. CHW approved the work while the technician was here and the motor was installed. The technician was very nice and professional. Out total cost was the $45 service call. Very smooth and stress free transaction.

Called Choice Home Warranty last Saturday, when garbage disposal was not turning on. Checked the reset button, as indicated from online instructions. Still didn't run, but electricity was not the problem. Repairman arrived Monday, checked the unit and said unit needed to be replaced, which he did. It took about 2 hours total, with repairman purchasing a new unit. Was very pleased with process. Mr KS (Mike) Plumbing & Drain Cleaning was the repair service.

I had the pleasure of talking to Aaron today, he was very helpful, had good information and we came up with a plan that was very acceptable. he also asked if I was a Veteran and I told him I was 25 years Air Force, he explained another option for me to consider. Choice Home Warranty is rated the number 1 home warranty out of the top ten in the country so I'm sure we made the right CHOICE. keep up the great service.

I had a plumbing issue and called Choice Home Warranty. They scheduled someone right away and text me and emailed me. The company Wett Plumbing never contacted me and did not show up as scheduled. I called chw and they probably scheduled me with someone else. I could not have asked for better service from Darren. Aucoin Plumbing. They were fast ,efficient, and didn't leave a mess. Thank you Choice Home Warranty for the reliable service that you provided me with.

After I found the problem I simply pulled the Choice file and called the service number. I explained my problem and was given a claim number. In a few minutes I received a call letting me know who was coming and when to expect the plumber. The plumber called and confirmed when he would beat my house. He arrived on time and within a few minutes he was finished.

I WAS IMPRESSED HOW PROFESSIONAL SALES REP TIMOTHY WAS WHEN I MADE AN INQUIRY ABOUT A HOME WARRANTY PLAN. HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND OFFERED ME THE SENIOR PLAN WHICH ENABLE ME TO TAKE A 6 YR PLAN GETTING 1 YR FREE AND BY PAYING UPFRONT FOR THE PLAN IT WAS FIXED FOR 6 YEARS WITHOUT ME WORRYING THAT THE PLAN WOULD INCREASE EVERY YEAR. IT ALSO ENABLE ME TO HAVE A $45.00 SERVICE CALL FIXED AMOUNT. IT IS A NEW PLAN SO I CAN NOT RATE THE SERVICE YET, BUT I HOPE IT WILL LIVE UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS. I AM CHANGING FROM A SEARS HOME WARRANTY PLAN BECAUSE I AM DISSATISFIED. I am rating company an average 8 now until i have used their service.

It is too soon in my experiential process for an honest evaluation of your warranty service. My warranty will not be in effect until mid March so my experience base can only be structured on your advertising and sales agents. Advertising I will rate with seven and a half stars out of ten. The sales agent I dealt with was constantly pushing and employed the age old process of, "let me see what else I can do for you, I'll check with my boss". A pleasant person but annoying because he refused to listen to my want to purchase a one year contract. I will rate sales a six out of ten. The cost of your service is very competitive. The proof of your product's worth to me will be if and when I have something under your warranty fail. That will be the litmus test for me.

This is just my second experience with CHW. CHW keeps their customers informed and up to date on the claim process. No guess work as to what is going on. In addition, CHW is efficient from the start of a claim to the end. On my first claim, the service provider did not show up and CHW informed me of a refund recourse I had, but wasn't aware of. Now that is truly putting the customer first.

Shortly after entering my credentials on your website, my phone rang. Jake was on the other end, he was talking about the weather to someone nearby. I said hello and listened for a moment (it was cold there) and then disconnected. Seconds later my phone rang again it was Jake. He proceeded to tell me why I wanted to sign up with him in that very moment. He negotiated with his manager to give me a better rate. I agreed to move forward and get a one year basic package. He continued to upscale me, I wasn’t interested. He was persistent, to a pony that I became annoyed. After decling the 5 year offer, he preceded to upscale Tempe 3 year. Again, I declined multiple times. After that was settled, he indicated that he’d send a confirmation email. It arrived, but my address was incorrect. I called him back, he said he’d fix it and send a new confirmation email. I never received the second email with the corrected information. I’m not confident that I’ll received the mailed documents either, because I can’t verify that my information has been corrected. I’ll likely have to place an additional call back tomorrow address this matter. For this reason, I’m not feeling great about the first impression. Pushy, careless and lack of accountability would be how I’d describe my first encounter.

When i talked with the representative i told her i was getting a past due on the account, i was upset because the door on my refrigerator was not covered. So far, my experience is with Damont, the sales rep for Choice Home Warranty. He's on fire for his company - lots of pep and energy - knows the excellent stats his company has accumulated and where to send "new" clients to get more information on "his company". I applaud his enthusiasm! He gave us a "bird's eye view" of what was covered by the plan and then went on to explain the different types of programs plus how to pay for the program, discounts, the veteran program, which I qualify for - retired Navy. All in all, he did an excellent job.

I missed my renewal cut off while traveling but did pay the renewal fee a few days late. When I got home, my AC was not working properly and I had to shut it down. After explaining my situation, a customer service agent got permission to honor the renewal. An AC company was sent out and I paid $45.00 to have the problem diagnosed and fixed. Extremely fast and excellent service!! Will definitely recommend Choice to friends and family. Sincere thanks!!

It should not take seven days to get service on my furnace. What if it was mid-winter? Do you cover hotels, busted pipes, water damage? If a company cannot prioritize heat and AC they aren't worth the money!
