I noticed a leak under my dish washer, call the customer service dept. The agent was very nice, caring and helpful....scheduled a repair man from Pinpoint Appliance Company within 2 days to my home. The repair man called on schedule, in my home maybe 30 minutes, completely checked the dish washer, repaired the leak and cleaned up the mess under the leak. I'm totally satisfied and only had to pay the 45.00 service call.

My garbage disposal went out and was leaking water. I put in a claim and very quickly got a call that someone from ______ company would be calling me and they did and came out and replaced it with a new one of the same make and model and the only cost to me was the service charge. Very prompt and efficient just like they promise. I am a happy camper!

I put in a request for service and within a few minutes I received an email detailing their receipt of my claim. Shortly after, I received an email detailing the name of the company and the time they would come. The repairman came within the window of time and replaced the disposal. This is the second time that I have had to use my warranty and I am very satisfied with service.

1st claim and Technician was actually ahead of scheduled appointment time. Recommended repairs have been approved by CHW so everything seems to be working as it should. I am very satisfied with the CHW experience so far. Customer service was great when I placed the claim as I am hearing impaired and phone conversations are difficult for me but the CHW claim rep was very patient with me, I think next time I have a claim I will try using the on line claim service.

I just recently used my home warranty due to a leak with my washing machine and I was pleasantly surprised with the process from start to finish. Not only was the turnaround time exceptionally responsive, but it was fixed the next day after I submitted my claim. I am so glad I made the decision to purchase a home warranty plan. They exceeded my expectations and it was a very smooth process.

I called and they were quick to get someone scheduled to come out. When at first they were having a problem getting someone, they gave me the option of finding someone and being reimbursed which is nice. The turnaround was quick after the contractor left. I wasn't even back to work when they called to say what was the outcome. They decided on a buy out of my oven. The amount was a little on the "buy the cheapest possible replacement" but the warranty paid for itself with that one issue. Overall, I was pleased with everything.

I was able to file a claim online which was very convenient. CHW got back to me right away and I got an appointment within a week with the plumber who also called me to verify the appointment and to ask what the issue was. The guy showed up on time was courteous and friendly even to my cat and dog. He completed the job quickly and was gone. Thank you.

I am a licensed insurance claims adjuster, so I am used to dealing with many people with 2 of the same stories. 1) Thier glad that someone explained the value if coverage, and 2) they wish someone would have explained what's covered and what's not, and why. This policy that CHW sells, has so much value built in, that it would be hard not to invest in your home from the inevitable. Let's face it, something always breaks down, and mostly at the wrong time. Great value.

The first technician could not find why my washing machine was leaking. He ran the machine but it refused to leak. He left without doIng any more in his inspiration. The machine only poured clean water every six or seven times it is used. He left without offering a solution. He said call if it leaked again. This is not a small leak it pours water when it acts up. We put up with the problem because of the Covid-19 pandemic. My wife and I are 71 years old. This last week, the pouring water grew worse. So we called Choice Home Warranty. We were told tat to much time had passed and we would have to pay another $65.00 service call. The second technician, Tim from another company took the washer apart until he found a cracked seal. CHW determined the labor cost exceeded the cost of a new washer. That was acceptable. Then we were told we will receive a check for $299.99. We have already paid $130.00 In Service fees. So after having paid the $500, annual fee, it really wasn’t worth making a claim. The least expensive washing machine comparable to our present model is $499. If I had not just renewed my contract, I would not do so.

For the most part, the choice technicians are professional and capable of completing the work. It seems most of them don't stay with the system long. The have complained about slow payments and being sent on assignments that don't reimburse them. One even insisted on the payment before he would look at the problem because he knew Choice would reject the work before he got here. They don't get paid if the repair work can't be done. Apparently if there is a replacement of the appliance or system, they only get the $45 co-pay. As for the replacement of appliances, they are spotty at best. They have never replaced an item at replacement cost. I had an ac with several service calls, when it came time to replace it, they disallowed the claim as it had no maintenance, any rust or dust on the coil is reason for automatic dismissal of the claim. I had a washing machine that they couldn't get the replacement parts, average cost for replacement of the same type, $850. Their offer $350. Their explanation was that their cost to replace was $350. When asked where I could get this and the would not tell me. So to end on a positive note, if it is repairable then the warranty is as expected, regardless of age. If it needs to be replaced, count on less that 50% for the replacement cost,

We have been with Choice for over 3 years. And my honest opinion is they can be great and it can also be frustrating. When we first started I was really frustrated. It woukd take a week after calling to start a claim to get a technician to come out and then I would get frustrated because items that seemed like it should be covered like our compressor on our central air unit. But they denied the claim. Saying it should be under manufactors warranty. But it wasnt. So needless to say I was disappointed that wasnt covered and we had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. Then 1 tech they sent out to fix the capacitor told us Choice denied the claim but he would still work out something with us to get it fixed. Well he never showed back up. Again out of our own pocket to find another Hvac company to fix that. Fast forward to a year later and the last few claims we had no issues. Our dryer stopped heating and our washer stopped spinning. Filed the claim, Choice agent was very nice put both under 1 claim # and only had to pay 1 service call fee. Tech came out 3 days later. Fixed the dryer on the spot. Great. But the washer he had to order the part. Part came in a week later he put it on but discovered it still didnt work right. He told choice what he thought it was and Choice decided to buy it out. Offered very fair price for the buy out. Very happy. Then a few weeks later our heating system gave us problems. Called Choice agent was very nice and helpful. Tech from that company was out 2 days later. Very nice. Honest. And took care of the issue. Choice Home Warranty may not be perfect but I believe no company is but I give them 4 out of 5 stars. (ps. I will raise my rating to 5 stars if they ever decide to update their policy rules and cover ice makers/water dispensers for the refrigerator. I mean it is a big reason why people buy a side by side and not a top/bottom. Which I know of NO new refrigeratrs that dont come with water or ice)

CHW always schedules appointments within 4 hrs and work is done in 24-48 hrs. This is the first time that the contractor did not ask for the money first and did the job. Otherwise the contractors will come and first ask the money before starting the job. Mark from Apalachee Home Services did a awesome job in explaining me what went wrong with my washer in depth which helped me a lot in understanding. Keep up the good work. 5 stars Regards, Uday

I have had CHW for 6 years now, and have been very pleased with them. They provided a new microwave, a new disposal, fixed a refrigerator, handled an electrical problem, an AC problem, and several plumbing issues, all very timely and with my only cost $45 each time. They are more than worth the monthly cost. They are very responsive each time I call.

Let me begin by saying I've had CHW technicians complain about the practices of CHW. My comments are based on my experiences as well as family and friends who have had similar disappointments. Unfortunately, some of us don't read every word of the policy contract prior to purchasing it. Only when you need to use it do you learn of the many exclusions and "fine print. " On those rare occasions when CHW cover losses, you don't collect the full value of your loss. When you accept funds in lieu of replacement you collect a seemingly arbitrary amount that's not even close to the value of the loss item. To add insult to injury, you have to wait 30 days for the payment.

Choice was expedient in contacting service provider for my garage door opener, service provider was out the next day, diagnosed problem(s) and Choice approved the work that same afternoon! Service provider was back the next morning to replace the garage door opener. Service provider (Rick) was knowledgeable, personable and thorough. Excellent customer service by ALL and I now have a garage door that goes up & down!

We found out that Choice H.W. will cover any of our designated appliances no matter what age or what brand. The company we were with prior was a joke and wouldn't honor this. We got a great Senior Discount, and feel so much more at ease knowing Choice Home Warranty will be there for us, any time, 24/7. There's no cancellation fee, and they will let us use our service people if we wish! We were so impressed with Tony C, who was our representative!!!

IF YOU OWN A HOME YOU NEED THIS INSURANCE ‼️ I have had choice home warranty for a few months. When my air conditioner quit I called the people who put it in because it was still under warranty. Once that company came out parts weren’t included and I wound up out of pocket $580. A week later I remembered my choice warranty and I was sickened. When my heat went out on Saturday night I called choice. A repairman was at my house before 9 am on Monday morning and all I payed was the $60 deductible. The company sent a photo of the repairman along with real-time tracking of his vehicle.

We made our first covered claim, (furnace issue) and Choice was responsive when the first referred contractor did not have good reviews on YELP. We carefully reviewed the comments, and after contacting Choice, they re-entered the claim to another contactor. This turned into a quick response that resulted in a fully operating furnace. The responsive contractor in Tucson, AZ was Modern Arizona Mechanical.

Our dishwasher quit working. CHW sent a repair dude out within 2 days. They couldn’t order parts due to the age of the dishwasher. CHW originally wanted to give us far less than what a new dishwasher actually cost but after one simple 5 minute phone conversation we were able to come up with a very fair settlement. Very happy with their timelines and costumer service!!

I checked with several other Home Warranty Providers, so many of them were to confusing to understand their respective programs. I wanted a company to service my home that had an excellent rating. I checked and found that Choice Home Warranty was rated # 1 by Consumers. Other companies wanted a considerable amount for a down payment and monthly payments for 18 months in a contract. I chose Choice Home Warranty for their service, low monthly payments and NO contract. The contact people you talk to are very helpful in explaining the whole process which was very enjoyable.

Cordial. Helpful .if course I haven't seen actual.policy yet. It was sent in email. Have my reviewed yet. Upon reading lengthy Terms/conditions I am uneasy about Third party interaction since you contract any repair service needed to a third party?. This is a little concerning when you say No worries. Excellent service yet you exonerate your company before any device is rendered?? Did not review guaranty or warranty terms .

This was my first experience since purchasing my home warranty with Choice in October. My Garage Door opener system for my two door garage door was completely inoperable. I called Choice , they had someone at my home within 24 hours to install a brand new system. Completely satisfied up to this point. Only cost me my $60 deductible. Oh, and I referred two other home owners because of this great service. Was skeptical at first, but feel a lot better about my decision to go with Choice Home Warranty. Thank you.

I have 15 polocies with Choice as I have rental property where as a problem constantly arises with maintenance issues. Knowing Choice is one call/email away, takes so much pressure and stress off me when I receive the "issue" calls from my tenants. About two hours later I was contacted and told when the repair,an would be arriving the following day. Mike arrived during the ti,ecslot given and the disposal was replaced quickly. Only disappointment was we were not given the booklet Incase we have a problem I’m the future.

In the past year, I had 3 problems with my rental and I am very satisfied with the way Choice Warranty (CW) resolved the problems. CW scheduled a technician in a reasonable time, gave me a status update in a timely manner, and it has been easy for me to get answers to my question. The service is always courteous. Except for one case where CW sent me a cash-value replacement in lieu of repairs, CW has been able to fix the problems within the service fee of $45/visit, which is reasonable price for any service technician visit.

My heat went out in my house so I called Choice Home Warranty to get someone to look at what's wrong. They scheduled one company, but that company couldn't get me in the schedule, so they immediately contacted another company. That company came out on short notice (although my timeframe was 11 - 3 and he didn't get there until after 5) but with such sort notice I wasn't complaining. The technician found the problem and has ordered the part and Choice will be taking care of my no heat problem.

Called to register problem that my furnace was not working. Was told it will take about 4 hours, or in some instances, could be up to 24 hours for technician. Within one hour, I received a call from a service company. Within one hour after that he was at my front door. In one more hour, my furnace was putting out heat and it still is days later. It doesn't get any better than that!

This was my first experience with using my Choice Home Warranty policy. I initially called to place the service request and phone personnel were very friendly. I especially liked the "call back" feature which was very prompt in follow up. Placing the service request was easy to do online as was tracking the status. Written information was understandable and accurate in response to my request. I was initially denied service due to a misunderstanding of covered time frame; this was quickly rectified after phone contact and an update was made allowing a technician to be scheduled. Although a day was lost due to the initial denial, email updates were made which kept me informed until it was confirmed that a technician was scheduled. I was given the name, contact phone number and scheduled time frame for the needed service - a time conflict caused me to reach out immediately to the technician who answered my call on the first ring. The assigned technician, Howard of A Team Heating and Cooling, was understanding and extremely accommodating, allowing me to reschedule for the same date at an earlier time. Howard was prompt, professional, quickly assessed my repair need and serviced my heating unit effectively. I received excellent customer service from both the technician and CHW overall.

I have had a couple calls with them and it has been in my best interests to have the service. When something goes wrong within the home it can be very frustrating so I am glad to have the service. I have usually had great service and quick response. There was one call that I was disappointed and felt the responder did not do what he should of but I did report him to the service and maybe they will not consider using him for service. Other than that I find them to be creditable and professional.

Everything's been great. The last time I used my warranty was with an air conditioning problem. I called and the response was within a day and they helped resolve the problem and gave me some guidance to prevent it happening again. Every technician that's come down to assist me has been very knowledgeable, professional and did a really good job. I get good follow-up from the customer service department.

HVAC is one of the most expensive systems in the home. Although routine cleanings and checks help maintain this system, the cleaners "often" find issues that they claim need "immediate" attention. This time I was told I needed a new gas valve, costing about $500 to acquire and install. Instead, I called in Choice Home Warranty who checked the valve for the $45 fee, cleaned off inputs that coulda/shoulda been done in the routine checkup, and it is now working fine. If it fails this winter when it will actually be used, I will call CHOICE first. Thanks for you OUTSTANDING service.

I called back and talked to a different sales person and explained I wanted the coverage on my personal home. I was able to get the senior discount and paid up for 3.5 years. Very quick response. But a bit concerned that the service provider had to first come to my home and evaluate the situation then go back for “authorization” from CHW then order some part for the repair. I’m a little befuddled about the “authorization” process. As a CHW customer, I would expect the authorization before anyone came to my home. Whether it’s a repair or replace, it’s supposed to be covered.

We noticed water on the kitchen floor coming from under the kitchen sink. I ran water from the faucet to trace the leak coming from the garbage disposal. I immediately turned off the disposal when testing due to an unusual sound and leak. I filled out a Choice claim online. They called less than an hour to let me know a repairman will be coming in 3 or 4 hours. The pluming company called to let me know they were on their way. He showed up replaced the disposal, I paid for the service call and everything was completed in less than 6 hours of me contacting Choice. No problems at all.

Summer time in Florida and my AC was not working at 9am. Not a very happy moment with the temp moving to 97 degrees. I called CW customer service about 10am when I realized the air was not cooling the house. They put out a service call and at 1:30pm I had a technician at my door and the repair was made quickly. Thank you CW and I will be renewing my contract when the expiration date draws near.

A young man, name Kelly came out and repaired out stopped up sink. He was very knowledgeable and explain everything and answered our questions. It is refreshing have a service man, who makes you feel comfortable. I have only one thing that I would like to recommend. That you shorten and communicate and coordinate the arrival time better. I waited from 7-1130. Besides that suggestion, everything was great!

Starting with the technician lovely voice so patience with me, she made me feel better that I would get help, no air condition at 4:00 a. m. Can't breathe. Next my angels came from Douglas Mechincal, Jessica, Amber and Brenton this is a true saying G put people's in the right place on time and these people's was my guardian angel. The A. C. Technician was schedule to come out on Thursday but i could not wait, so my angles got the technician out Tuesday instead of Thursday.

I have had very positive experiences with Choice Home Warranty. I have had a couple of other warranty companies in the past but always felt that the service and response times were very poor. I put in a ticket yesterday for an electrical company and within a couple of hours an electrician was at my house making the necessary repairs. It does not get much better than this!

This is my first claim with Choice Home Warranty (CHW). The process was hassle-free and they provided prompt responses to the claim. My washing machine broke down on a Saturday, I spoke to a representative that day to arrange for repair technician service. A technician came out to my place within 3 days and determined that my washing machine would have to be replaced. CHW presented a satisfactory offer within 90 minutes of repair technician determination. I am very pleased.

It was very hard to report the trouble; phone selection very complected, finally tried computer for web site, no better in fact worse. Finally after half hour and to many attempts to keep account with I finally reached someone that was knowledgeable in the process of placing a job order. I was told that I would be contacted by a local jobber within 48 hours. I was not contacted for over 72 hours, but the jobber was very courtesy when I was contacted. Then they kept the appointment and told the trouble and that the parts would be ordered immediately. He told me that he would contact me when the parts arrived to set up a completion date. I am so far satisfied wit the service. Please engage more service writers and ones that speak clear and understand English. Who ever wrote your software program for internet service needs to go back and try to debug some of the faults with questions ask and selection of answers. Clear instructions and when the customer is faced with a problem have an easy way to obtain a prompt answer . I do hope this helps Choice Home Warranty, there are more companies offering the same service, or say they do, and I would hate to loose you as the provider after all I have been with Choice for 10 + years. All my suggestion and criticisms are hoping to improve all services for all involved.
