I am not pleased with CHW. The time it takes to get a tech for a claim, most techs are ok but claim is not completed I feel like you are not getting records of professionalism to take care of the situation. Last one as of last week, came to unclog kitchen sink, only left me with my sink leaking, the solution that was used turned my sink black and stained. I need to put in another claim because my kitchen sink is in worse condition. It did not have running water coming from the pipes under the sink. I can not use my sink. I could go on, but I just want to discuss my most resent issue.

In the past year we have had a slab leak, which should have been covered in our policy, as well as multiple calls on our dishwasher. We have been denied for the slab leak and parts of the dishwasher and we’re left to cover the repairs in full from our own pockets. Whenever we need to call about warranty information, the calls are outsourced, which leads to miscommunication and frustrating conversation.

Due to your negligence on the EPA Laws, Choice failed to let the tech repair our A/C by refusing “stop leak” being used. We are in the process of filing a complaint with the Florida EPA Office in Tallahassee! Now 30 days from our service complaint, we still have an open call. Now maybe, we are scheduled for a service call tentatively set on Sept 9th!!

My A/C has not been fixed. Please have your service firm contact me. I believe they had to order a part that they didn't have. As they didn't have the standard part I needed for my York A/C (and due to dangerous temperatures inside my condo, I had to have the firm I have a maintenance contract with come and give me a loan model without delay. Please have your A/Crepair people contact me about installing part they had to order.

Our covered a/c unit is 31 years old. We obviously take very good care of it, right? It has a Freon leak that cannot be repaired and the refrigerant in question is no longer produced so it has to be searched for-good times.

Worst service ever experienced. Very POOR CS Rep, never returned calls, never respond to emails. Five claims with same issue on dishwasher. last claim filed July 10 is still open. I asked for their cooperate office contact information, i was given CS number. Asked to speak with manager, never happened. with the $85 I paid and what CHOICE coveded in parts and Lobor, I could have a new dishwasher.

I think they're almost illegitimate. I have a problem with my air conditioning. We thought it was probably the thermostat. It took five days for them to come out and look at it. The individual said that the only thing that he had authorization on was the thermostat and that he could look at the rest of the system at all unless you repost the claim.

When I used the warranty, I spoke to one of the representatives and they said it was covered and when the first person came here he didn't do much of anything. He was looking for other stuff, not to fix the problem I have and I was told that the part was not covered.

To replace the microwave they sent someone out. The contractor said it was two issues and it needed to be replaced and they gave me $190.00 and it was 400 and some dollars. When I complained about it they upped to $250.

I would give a no star review but that wasn’t an option! So many things wrong with Choice….WAY TOO MANY sales emails, push, Too hard to speak to customer service live person!!! Too expensive with no providers that take this plan, and when you ask for surveys on the claims we have completed your computer system will NOT take the surveys!!! To just name a few, BUT I know none of this matters to you and nothing will come of this survey

Really hard to get a person assigned to your claim. When it is assigned they give you an appointment date and time without asking preference, then you have to reschedule and it takes longer..assuming they even show up!. I have had this company for a home warrenty at my previous house as well and this seems to be their normal customer service. It's awful.

Nothing has worked. Currently being made to wait on a part for AC that was back ordered. When I called someone else to look at it they got my AC working after I have been sweltering for two weeks. I am still waiting on the part with no time line. Tried to reach out to a manager but many times I can’t even get thru. So far this warranty is useless.

Either their claim settlement system is broken, or they intentionally make it very difficult to resolve even the smallest service claim in a timely manner. To say that the communication between the claims center and the vendors that they use is lacking would be a huge understatement. I had to follow up with both choice customer service and the vendor back and forth at least 6 times over a 7 day period. I finally had to demand to speak with a manager to get the communication issue resolved.

Submitted claim to repair my refrigerator/freezer pm May 11, 23 accepted a settlement of $494 in form of Lowes Gift Card to be sent within 30 days. As of July 5, 23, I have not received gift card. I do not intend to buy from Lowes as a local home furnishing store has better selection, prices, delivery and installation and financing term i.e 24 months no interest. I do not understand why Choice Home Warrant (CHW) wants to force me to buy from a business that I never show from. I will never recommend CHW to anyone for warranty coverage.

I have not had use of my refrigerator since June 12th, which is exactly 3 weeks. Choice Home Warranty has done a miserable, unprofessional and terrible job on getting my refrigerator fixed....and it is still not working and the part will not be received until another 2 or 3 or 4 days.....and then an appointment has to be made in order for the technician to come and replace the LG refrigerator's compressor. This screw up is simply unacceptable and I should be awarded 1 year of free service from Choice Home Warranty. Francine B.

We've never gotten good customer support. Our freezer went out and the person came out to look at it. Luckily they repaired it right then because in Choice said that it was a manufacturer defect and wouldn't cover it even though the manufacturer said it wasn't a defect. We will not be renewing Home Warranty.
