I just had to have a new water heater installed after 3 repair visits. The claim was submitted, the appointment scheduled, technician mae the visit, decided it was in need of replacement, put the report into Choice, I got an email from Choice with my estimate which I approved, choice ordered the parts the technician would need and by 5:30 pm-SAME DAY- I had a new water heater installed! That’s service! Thank you Chiice and thank you to a great technician on the local team!

Today, Mr. Rafael A. from One Source Plumbing came earlier than expected and expertly replaced my broken garbage disposal from 1/3 to 1/2 horsepower unit. Thank you so much for your most reliable and assurance of service delivery. I was not mistaken to buy your plan till 2028 and even bought another plan for my extended family in another different residence, also till 2028. I alsoplan to renew my plan after 2028. Thank you. Overall, I think it’s good. But there can be some improvements because I’m still waiting for my check from Lowe’s so I can go buy a new stove and it takes 30 days to receive that. I would give it 3 1/2 stars because of the problems I have with the stove. But that’s OK I’ll wait. I also didn’t know until I asked that it would be a Lowe’s email, not a Choice warranty email to get my Lowe’s card to buy another stove. So I need to be sure and check my spam which I think would be good to let your Customer Service rep. Tell the customer to check their spam if you have any questions you can call me

Summer is definitely here. My main floor air quit cooling during the night of 6/29. I came home from work at 11:00am and it was 83 inside. I put in a claim at 12:14pm and made plans with the wife to move to a different part of the house until the air was fixed. AT 1:16pm I received a call from the Technician and I was back cooling by 3:00pm!!!👍

We have had two claims and both excellent. The first took a little time to connect because of a weekend; however, the second call we had an appointment scheduled by the second day. Communication via email was excellent; provider arrived within stated window and completed the repair completely. Personal and professional. I was skeptical about accepting whoever they sent, but in both situations we were well pleased. In both cases the $65 fee was very reasonable for the service call and all other costs were covered. We are very pleased with this warranty.

There is little feedback by the Service Repair person. I had to make several attempts to contact him via text and phone calls before he gave me an update. The equipment is a Hybrid Water Heater system and the system have been working as an electric water heater. The blower mechanism needs to be replace and the part has been on order for close to three weeks. The repair person mentioned that in his experience that the electric portion of the water heater normally breaks down about a year after the blower breaks. He claimed that he recommend to replace the entire unit but Choice Home Warranty only approved the replacement of the blower. So I forsee that the system will break, I will have to file another claim (time), will have to pay another $100 (deductible) and wait a long time before the unit is replaced. Not the best results thus far. But I must way that Choice Home Warranty does respond quickly not like my previous home warranty provider. Choice Home Warranty should implement a follow up system to monitor claims and follow up with the provider instead of having the customer follow up. Kent

Rules, options, and process is upfront. There is follow-through and they pay/reimburse within six weeks. The problem is the length of time to get something fixed. We live in a rural area with few known repair techs, and even fewer service companies who will jump through the home warranty hoops. You (the homeowner) will have to submit the service quote online with the tech standing beside you. (The techs don't have time to do this, but you will not be reimbursed for that $1800 water heater replacement that you promised the tech you would pay out of pocket!) Each household item has its own reimbursement value, so don't be surprised if it's lower than today's actual cost. Other than a long process, and having to do the electronic claims work yourself, it works.

The Technician that came to check out my furnace was very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, informative as he did his job so I knew what was wrong, and very clean in his work, he gathered up all the paper that had been laid down to keep the carpet clean. I was very pleased with this service. Choice Home Warranty has Triple AAA Service.

We have never had a Home Warranty plan until recently. Our first claim experience has just occurred and thus far has been very positive. Choice Home Warranty made it very easy to file a claim online and they responded quite promptly. A local technician was sent to us for inspection and approval for the work to be done soon followed. CHW and the technician have both been very courteous, professional and considerate of us and we appreciate it. We do not regret our decision to purchase a Home Warranty plan and we are very glad we chose Choice Home Warranty for our company.

Refrigerator Repair Placing my claim was easy over the phone. The appointment was scheduled, and the tech arrived early. He took his time to identify the issue and kept me informed during his troubleshooting. He ordered the required part to tix the freezer and scheduled a return appointment. I don't understand why that a company out of Tampa which is across the bay was dispatched to Largo however they were very good in communicating with me and they arrived on time as promised. I was at work and had my neighbors at the house and the repairman would not tell me anything over the phone as far as what was wrong or what he did he did not leave a detailed bill. Other than that the refrigerator is working he did not leave a mess everything was fine. He was at the house less than 30 minutes I believe

I put in a claim on a Sunday morning while washing dishes notice water dripping thru garbage disposal, made a claim online an within the hour a plumbing company called to arrange a service call on Monday morning, We had Doctor appointment on Monday and Tuesday so plumber came an replace disposal on Wednesday, great and quick job. I only have one big problem with Choice HW, we had a Microwave oven fail and the repair cost was too high for the age of the product. so a payment was offered to replace the unit. but it had to be at Lowes with a credit code from CHW to cover some of the cost: good so far, BUT it took over 3 weeks to get the credit code to Lowes, then to get a matching (my other appliances ) unit I had to wait another 15 to 18 days to get the unit to the store, then wait for installation. We were without a critical appliance from 12/25/23 until the final installation on 2/16/24. That's about 50 days. now the only thing CHW controls in this process is getting the credit to Lowes and getting them to move to your customer in a much more timely manner.

Selecting CHOICE Home Warranty was the best decision I've made when buying my house 2 years ago. I filed my first claim last week. Within a few days I received ab email confirming the date and time a technician was coming. The young man from LIVE Electronics arrived when scheduled. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He did not find anything major wrong, but suggested I replace the gasket, which he has ordered. He also told me if it leaks again , to try and determine whether it's leaking from the sides or bottom.

The tech was prompt, courteous, respectful, and polite. The tech walked in, I told him what the problem was, and he entered the room where the dryer was and performed his observation. He took about 20 minutes, and he explained the problem. He said he had to make a phone call for approval. He explained which part he needs to finish the job. After another 20 minutes, he came back in with the part and proceed to complete the job. Within another 20 to 30 minutes the job was done.

Quick response, great group of businesses they partner with for repairs. We had Drum with NIB Doors come out, and he was very personable and experienced. He replaced the spring on our garage door quickly and he checked other features of our door to make sure everything else was working properly. We don't have a way to make our garage light stay on so my husband stood in front of the sensor while Drum worked, and Drum talked him through all of the steps. We appreciate him educating us while he was here.

I’ve had another home warranty service prior to choice and they would never send anyone out. I ended up calling on my own and then they wouldn’t cover services. Company is responsive to fixing my problems on a timely basis with qualified technicians, They also will allow your own technician to fix the problem if they have no one available. In addition if they cannot fix a problem, Choice will replace the appliance for free at a fairly reasonable replacement cost. They have replaced for me a dryer, microwave, and central AC unit as well as completely redone my kitchen sink plumbing.

The first plumber was taken off the job and the job was reassigned. It was assigned to two low rated plumbers. I objected to those plumbers. It was than assigned to another plumber. He arrived on time and did a great job. There was a mixup with the original service request. Someone that I talked to did't understand what was the problem, She put in that it was a clogged drain. The problem was a hole in a pipe under my kitchen sink and a leaking faucet, The hole was repaired, but nothing was done about the faucet. It is still leaking under the sink. I'm not sure what I need to do. I don't feel that I should have to pay for another service call. The plumber agreeded that there needed to be a new faucet, but he didn't have that on the claim. I tried to get the correct problem on the job, but couldn't get anyone to help me. It was still listed as a clogged drain. I do need to a new faucet, but don't know who I need to contact. I can't put anything back under the sink, until this leak if fixed.

Pro: I jumped the gun and called CHW as I thought my refrigerator had quit. After it came back on, I was able to contact customer service, the following morning and cancel the call ticket. Con: I called the “contact us” number and after going through “press two” twice, recording said y’all were closed. It DID NOT state what time the operator would be available. Once I did get a “human”:she was very helpful and saved me a $75 service call fee.

With three lights suddenly going out and a bulb change didn't work, I had to put a claim in to Choice Home Warranty. I was very happy with the result!! Kenny from Kenny's electric came out to the house, listened to our issue and determined exactly what was needed, had replacement closet fixtures and a new wall switch with him and knocked it out in a short while. Tru Flow Plumbers Andy and Sam were professional and courteous. They examined my basement drain hole issue, explained how TRAP works, and offered a solution and a cap to cover my sewage drain pipe under the stairs. They said the inspector should've caught and the previous plumber should've recommended a cover for the exposed pipe so that sewage fumes and gas would be contained. I have had Choice Home Warranty for more than 5 years, at 2 different addresses and was able to easily transfer the warranty when I sold my first condo; actually increased the sale proceeds. I have had likely a dozen claims, from stopped up sinks to HVAC repair and replacement, and with each claim I am more convinced that Choice Home Warranty is the best money a homeoner can spend. Choice Scheduling online was great. With Immediate acknowledgement of the issue and within a couple of hrs they appointed a technician with a time window and date of arrival. The technician arrived on time with a 1 hr prior text notification. Once he reviewed the problem. He was quickly able to diagnose the issue, recommend solutions on what could and couldnt be done as the next steps. Once he left, i got my case updated online by Choice with a quick resolution for me to accept/ deny. I am glad I chose Choice Home Warranty for my Home appliances.

I called in a claim for two faucets that were leaking on the 28th of Nov but then noticed that the commonde was leaking and on the 29th of Nov I called in to add the toilet. The man that took the call said no problem and added that with the two faucets. Perfection Plumbing called me and advice that Choice told them I had to open a new claim on the commonde. When I called this morning Choice did not have my second conversation in calling to add the toilet. When the technician came to my house he said he had three things to check. How did he know to check the third itemed that was called in the second time?

We have been extremely pleased with our decision to go with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) over other home warranty companies since purchasing our home in 2020. Choice Home Warranty has been very helpful and responsive with all of our home repair needs. The CHW Technicians that we have encountered have been wonderful and respectful of our home and property. The repairs are addressed by CHW in a timely manner, and they have always contacted us with a follow-up to the repairs performed. Very appreciative to them for their excellent customer service.
