They never dispatched plumbers. When I hired my own plumber, it took them forever to approve the repair. The reimbursement covered about 1/8 of the cost. Contractors do not want to work when they hear about the warranty.

When I needed the service I felt like Choice did not honor their warranty nor listen to the fact that the service technician caused damage. I called and explained this to Choice that he was here in my home and cased a fire to my boiler. I did not get the service nor a replacement. I went an entire winter without heat.

Our one and only experience so far was not good. After the initial call to submit a claim. It took 6 days for a technician to be identified and assigned to the claim. On the day the technician was scheduled to arrive--between 7 and 11 am-- he failed to call to ad use he would be late and did not show up until 1:30 pm. While our previous home warranty provider was more expensive they were prompt interms of assigning a technician and the techs showed up during the designated window or called if they were going to be late.

Problem with icemaker on fridge was never solved. Took over 3 weeks with multiple tries to try and fix the problem, Service man told me that I need to call a GE repairman since he couldn't figure out how to fix it. I told him That I would then have to pay for that. Da that's why I have Choice! I was going to order Choice for my own home, but not anymore after this experience.

The absolute worst people to deal with. Phone service for sales is great. Once you are on board Zero. You get put on hold for 30 minutes or more. When you talk to someone to resolve an issue. They will agree but never follow thru. Then you will start all over with another customer "service" agent. The fine print in their policy makes real coverage for problems meaningless.

It's been about 2 months now and repairs still haven't been completed. Parts that were to be supplied were found to be incorrect when received. The prepayment for theses parts is to be refunded to me but after about a month, has not been received. Out of pocket expenses ok be paid byme has almost doubled and the contractor that was supposed to do the repair cannot be reached. There us more that can be said.

Warranty states they cover some areas all parts but then they come in with whether or not it is accidental. They will make it look like someone did it purposely so they don't have to cover. Their definition of normal wear and tear is barbaric.

So far we've not had great service from the contractors hired. Our last appointment yesterday the vendor forced us to pay up front and stated that we had to pay before they can even look at the issue. When done he said the claim was denied and we didn't get a refund. My husband called after to find out why and there is no explanation thus far. We still don't have an answer. No one has gotten back to us.

Have had trouble with what they allow for "replacement". $300 on a full size washing machine- to replace exactly what I have it is over $800. Been waiting on processing a claim on my fist washer for over a month. Have called 5 times and have been told each time that I would receive a return call or an email no later than the next. Still have not received anything. The service man came out and his suggestion to the company was replacement. Still have not heard a word from the Choice office.

Everytime I've used it, with the exception of the first time, I have lost money. They have not done the job, the person who would come to my house to fix it did not seem knowledgeable and I ended up having a problem. I had to spend most of my money for a brand new hot water heater, the same thing with my air conditioning. I haven't had a very good experience with Choice Warranty and I have a three year warranty with them.

Put a claim in on July 29, 2022 for my air conditioner not cooling. This air unit only controls 1 room and it's a full size unit. It took until August 18, 2022 for anyone to show up. He had no tools to determine air flow or temp of air. Still not fixed and I'm waiting on him to return with freon and it's now September 18, 2022.
